Faust Windfallow

'Darkhold will be restored. That I oath upon my life.'

Name: Faust Windfallow

Alias: Nightmare's Reaper

Age: Unknown, looks 20

Height: 6'4

Weight: 177 lbs

Race: (Former) Fairy of Darkhold

Appearance:

Personality:

Faust is a very easygoing person, and can often be described as 'moronic'. He is what you'd call lazy, and always tries to find a loophole to things. He's fine with being the odd one out as well, since he's practically the only Faerie who originates from Darkhold who actually lives in Lightwood, and he doesn't mind that most people are distrustful of him. He doesn't really have tendencies to get into fights, but when he does get in a fight, his opponent is 75% screwed, 20% not dead and 5% unlucky.

HOWEVER, if a situation should be grave, he's very quick to react, and will tolerate 0 nonsense, should any lives be at risk. But after that situation is over, he's back to being a lazy sloth in an instant.

Magic Affinity: Darkness,

-He cannot utilize the darkness as a weapon though. He can, however, cause the shadows to dance and writhe around him, forming a blanket to hide him. He's virtually undetectable while cloaked, with the exception of a few with exceptional eyesight, or just shine a flashlight on him. He can also hide in he shadows of another creature. However, attacking while cloaked will transfer his attention elsewhere and blow his cover.

Fighting Style:

-One Handed Sword-- He does not follow any 'fighting form' but he prefers to use Era's Doom's hooked guard to disarm his opponent, then incapacitate then by bashing the hilt of the blade into his opponent's leg. (or just beat them up enough for them to fall the the ground.) If he HAS to kill his opponent, however, he will go for a fatal blow to the head with the hilt of his blade. Or slit their throat. However, he himself admits that he would never be able to defeat Alistair when his weapon of choice was still the rapier.

-Heavy Weapon-- He extremely skilled with heavier weapons, especially scythes. His weapon of choice is the Guillotine Scythe. The Guillotine Scythe is capable of shattering most weapons with ease. His main strategy would to be disarm his opponent by breaking their weapon, and then knock them out with the skull on the end of the scythe. However, if he must kill his opponent, he will use his scythe's length to his advantage, and bring it behind his opponent's neck, then pull it back, decapitating most opponents with ease.

Bio:

Branded a traitor by his own people, Faust now resides in Lightwood. He had visited Lightwood a few times before, and was there at the birth of Lightwood's Prince. He also personally gifted the newborn prince the sword that is named Belviik. He then returned to Darkhold, after an imposter had taken the queen's place and murdered the king and former queen. (however, he was unaware of these events.) He settled down for a while and didn't really do anything crazy until the war began. He was summoned to the court and his assistance was requested. As a Faerie of Darkhold, he felt it was his duty to stand by his people's side...

...

...

Until he learned of the Queen's intentions... To expand their rule to Lightwood as well...

" Where there is light, there will be darkness, and darkness, light. One cannot exist without the other. Light and Dark is two sides of a coin. What's a coin without the heads or tails? If you wish to conquer Lightwood, be my guest. But I will not be by your side, even if it means betraying my own people."

He took his important belongings and left Darkhold and consequently branded a traitor by his people. His former home was raided, but luckily, he had taken anything of use and he had neither a wife nor children. It was rumored that he had found the secret to immortality, but that's just a children's fairy tail, right?

He eventually ended up in Lightwood, and decided to stay there, although most Lightwood Faeries are very distrustful of him. However, it is unknown what the consequences is for a Darkhold Faerie to have prolonged exposure to amounts of light that is unfamiliar to residents of Darkhold.

...

...

...

He DOES have a good relationship with Lightwood's Royal Family... Even though the guards always think he's an assassin.

Armor: Black cloth hood, silver plague mask, leather cloak, gloves and shoes.

Weapon/s:

The Guillotine Scythe

A black scythe made of an unidentified material. It is quite heavy (11.24 kg) and is around 2 meters high, and the blade being around 1 meter long. The edges of the scythe blade is made of pure darkness.

Era's Doom

An ornamental sword not dissimilar to that of a British longsword, only much lighter. It measures around 1 meter in length and 2 kg in weight.

Widow Howl

IMG_0814.jpg

Twin scythes, each of their handles measuring 75 cm, and the blades measuring 1 meter, 30 cm. The blades curve downward, over the hands. They are meant to be held like tonfas, (or just holding them like twin swords is fine) and they each weigh about 7.4 kg

Other:

-He decided to assist Lightwood instead of his own people because he believes that Darkhold's victory in this war can potentially severely disrupt the balance between light and dark.

-He has NOT found the secret to immortality.

-The reason to why he still looks twenty...

Darkhold Faeries are almost never exposed to light, therefore lacking a crucial form of nutrition. They however, have adapted to the darkness. However, the reaction caused from sudden exposure to large amounts of light will double, even triple the natural life-span of a Darkhold Faerie, although sudden exposure to a lot of darkness by a lightwood faerie does not have the same effect

-He doesn't kill unless need be
