Not much besides the fact I finally found someone who is willing to be an asshole to Yeva, and I cannot express how excited I am about that

Works for me :V I'll wait to see more info about him before I lock it in, but I'm thinking I'll make my OC in his late 40s/early 50s then so he's of the same generation at least. I'm thinking he might have a protective/cool old uncle vibe towards some of the younger members of the pack at any rate. Especially if Father has recently passed, I think while he doesn't want to take over the leadership role he does, at least, still feel a responsibility towards keeping the rest of them safe/trying to stop them from falling apart and such.

Haha thank you, great to hear. It's open to changes as needed/if people want to discuss relations and add history and such, but just updated it so otherwise I'd say I'm now finished for now.

Haha thank you, I picture it as one of those things where he probably has had ‘everyone-realises-except-him’ type crushes on a few men his age over the years. No idea if anyone’s ever actually brought it up with him before but I think he just kinda laughs and brushes it off as people overthinking things if so.

Also just finished reading Zon’s profile and aaaaah I love her. I can see Arthur having a bit of an exasperated mentor role towards her, perhaps? Doesn’t really like her approach to some situations but hoping they can talk it out at some point/will still show up at the end of the day to help her out of trouble like he would anyone in the pack.

Agreed.
I think the one thing she always appreciates about him is his intelligence and his silence. Some days he might have warned her against something, she threw up two birds and did it anyway. Two weeks later, she might ask him what he would've done instead (but in the most vague and hypothetical way possible, hoping he forgot about it.)
Other days, I think Zon really likes coming by just to bask in his presence, knowing he won't ruin it by talking—most the time.
Also, had a small headcannon that when she was younger, she would come by with a whole grooming kit and managed the coats of the older wolves. I imagine folks like Father & Arthur hardly cared to keep it furled and unmatted in their age, so Zon obliged and made them pretti. Her deadbeat ass doesn't anymore, but she might still give him crud for poorly managing it, if that sounds like him.

Finally got a chance to read over this, love all of the lore so far :3

I do have a question or two, mainly in regards to the sort of lives the wolves may have outside of the pack? And by that I mean, does the majority of the pack live in The New Tide's home in isolation all the time and only occasionally venture into Blackridge for supplies and such? Or is it more varied, and some may live in the town for the most-part and only visit on full moons, have jobs or possible friends and family in said town, etc?

Semi-related, I'm contemplating possibly making Arthur some kind of doctor/medic/first aid guy, or at least that he was one at some point in time, if there's space for that? Might be nothing too fancy, but he knows how to set broken limbs and clean out bite wounds to avoid infections and such.

I like this concept for sure. She's the cause behind several early grey hairs perhaps but he still cares about her health and safety and tries to guide her even if she'll only let him do it in hindsight.

As for the coat idea, I do think it's an amusing one. I can see Arthur getting a little neglectful over maintaining it, mostly as a sign he's stressed. Not sure he'd let anyone fuss over him much for it, but I can certainly see her lecturing him on it until he begrudgingly goes to do it himself at the very least. Maybe if he's feeling particularly downtrodden or tired he will just slump onto the ground with a resigned expression while people give him ear scritches, a brush, and a scooby snack lmao

Yeah that works! Honestly its something I thought about, but never really dived to hard into. I think the new tides home is tucked away from prying eyes to allow the pack to do as they wish, but for certain I feel like people in the pack definitely have jobs, either in the past or current. Stuff like that would help keep up appearances in town. So I would say it is more varied!

I am also going to add a little to the lore about the differences between wolf and human form. I.E: in human form you have slightly enhances senses, like smell, hearing etc.

That's hilarious, honestly, if Zon isn't feeling particularly moody, and Arthur is looking a particular mess, she will grumble at him to sit his ass down so she can fix him up.
