I'm working on a child of a Mist deserter. As part of his backstory, I was thinking that his parent wound up recruited into ANBU and was one of the ones who went MIA. My character would have been told this to encourage him to join ANBU and figure out what's targeting them.

Don't know how missed this, yeah, works, owl will function off of your ninjutsu stat. Your character will probably want some earplugs.

My main thing is, be reasonable, and make sure it's RP'able. But other than that, go nuts. There are a few things I can't see as easy to RP though, and be cautious with:

Yamanaka's mind possession means, unless you alter it significantly, I can't really let that go through. Same with the Nara's Shadow Possession. Uchiha's Sharingan's another pain, no instant mimickry.

It'd probably be easier to ban them, but meh, I'll love to see what people can pull off. Just remember this is an RP, with back and forth. Please have conditions for someone else to break out of something.

I'm even allowing a few additional things. Letting Senju be around is easier than lab experiment #2342 having wood release. Seems easier to me.

I was thinking of making a kenjutsu specialist, maybe has some ninjutsu but is mostly a close quarter specialist using clan techniques. Was thinking about making a small clan known for swordsmanship that deserted Kusakagure and moved to Konoha but because of that have a stigma around them.

I'm.... kinda confused about the first question now?

That should be fine, I'll have to review the techniques as they come, but premise works. The whole stigma might not be too much a factor seeing as everyone is ANBU in the RP, in masks. Either way, not too much wrong with it. And I love swordsmenship. Your skill with it will be under taijutsu stats mostly.

Lore info I haven't worked in yet, btw, just if anyone's interested.

Leaf still founded by Senju and Uchiha, who are the two biggest clans, generally have a bit of a rivalry.

Hokage is currently a branch member Hyuga. They have a 'cursed gentle fist' style that lands cursed seals on each hit. Head member just died, so people are accusing him of having done something. His reaction is kinda "ANBU, help!"

InsaneAsylum is running a Hyuga.

Orikanyo has a char good to go of clanless char.

Atlannianspy I know earlier was thinking about running an Uchiha.

I think IG is thinking of a Yamanaka, but with controlled puppets rather than mind possession.

I have no clue what I'm running.

Upon which, they can hypnotise the victim in a variety of ways, or even delve deep into their minds to extract information. The Ketsuryūgan also gave the users the ability to manipulate iron, or more accurately, any liquid with a high iron concentration. As such, fitting with its moniker, the Ketsuryūgan can manipulate the blood within a living target, whether if be themselves or another being.
