  Team: Oguma
  Personality: Miyu gives the air of someone at the edge, and about to break any moment. She suffers from constant panic attacks, and a love of violence... and the two aren't mutually exclusive. She can go from zero to a hundred in a millisecond. Still, despite her mood swings, she is loyal, and will fulfill any assignment. She also, despite her bouts of psychosis is relatively easy to calm down, being distracted fairly easily when not on assignment. Most of her partners carry some form of booze on her just to calm her down.
  
  Miyu is often cynical about what her work has cost her. She's 'Handicapable' about missing an arm. The shredded memory is harder for her to deal with, but Miyu leaves sticky notes in code all around her to remember what she was doing at any given time.
  
  Despite her shortcomings, she does love the Leaf, and would be willing to do it all again for it.
  
  History: A minor child in the Oguma clan, Miyu didn't show much promise as a ninja. She didn't have the largest chakra capacity, nor skill. She took the chunnin exams three times. Each time, she made it to the combat phase, the kunoichi was cunning enough to pass the first and second test every year. Miyu was noted to be absolutely ruthless, despite her lack of talent. In the end, she passed the third exam by poisoning her opponent's lunch the day before. He survived, but was rather unhappy about it. Especially seeing as it had been her teammate.
  
  ANBU went to scout her, one appearing in her room at night. He attempted to kidnap her, and got stabbed in the kidney for his effort, Miyu turning out to be a light sleeper. Thankfully, the man was a Senju, and able to heal. However, as he presented the offer to Miyu, a large explosion cut him off, and in a moment of chaos, her room collapsed, a row of teeth cascading down the room, and ripping it apart. The ANBU disappeared, a smear of blood left behind. Miyu was terrified. As the teeth pulled back, Miyu saw a giant red snout, and, falling from the maw of the creature, an arm. It was at that moment Miyu looked down, and realized, it was her arm. Screaming in pain, she was no help in subduing the tailed beast that had broken free.
  
  She was retired as a ninja. Miyu hated ever second of it. She felt helpless, and useless to her village. Angrily, she trained to regain mobility, and fight back against the phantom pains. Her back hurt almost more than her arm. She managed to regain some combat functionality, but the Hokage would not permit her back into action.
  
  Miyu gritted her teeth, and refused. She took an alternative route... and managed to locate ANBU headquarters, and barged in, demanding to be let in. Kaito Chosokabe, the head shook his head, and said she'd be no use. Miyu was determined, and so, he said if he could beat an ANBU in a spar, he'd consider it. Before he even finished his sentence, Miyu lunged at the guard next to him, grabbing his face, and threw him through a wall.
  
  Kaito smiled, checked on the man's health, and shrugged. "Welcome to ANBU"
  
  Miyu's handicap left her barely able to escape most missions by the skin of her teeth. She made friends, and all seemed right in the world.
  
  However, on a particular mission, a treaty breaking on, she and her squad snuck into the Land of Water. They avoided the Mist Nin as they tracked down a scroll. However, what they didn't expect was to be ambushed by another treaty breaker, the Land of Stone. Miyu's squad was dispatched, and she alone was captured. Tortured for weeks for information. Miyu would love to say she didn't break, but she absolutely did, genjutsu rewiping her mind again and again. She just didn't have the information they wanted. By the time Kaito had found her, Miyu was a hysterical mess. She, however, refused to retire. Very... vehemently. Though, she was out of commission for several months as her mind partially recovered.
  
  Being asked to teach, Miyu immediately threw a tantrum, and attempted to throw the ANBU commander out the window. He, however, had earned his position, and Miyu found herself defenestrated. Annoyed, she agreed to help train the new recruits.
  
  
  Clan Info: An offshoot of the Aburame clan that came about while experimenting with other insects to use in their Parasitic Insect Destruction techniques. They deal mostly with spiders and silks. The non ninja of the clan produce silk clothing for a high price.

  Fighting Style:Decription: Despite being handicapped, Miyu is absolutely brutal in a fight, attacking weakpoints, and grinding down her opponents. She generally lays traps with webmaking while attacking with taijutsu, multitasking every moment. With her webbing, it seems more like she has 5 hands than one.

  Jorogomu's Nest - A branch of the Aburame clan, the Oguma clan deals with spiders and silks specifically in their control of insects. Miyu herself rarely controls them, but instead mimics a spiders silk with her one hand forming it between her fingernail and finger, firing it out in thin threads.

Kaito Chosokabe, ANBU Commander

Description: Leader of ANBU, Kaito doesn't enjoy the limelight, and hates the politics he has to put up with. He prefers to be in the field, often inspecting work, and seeing if he can sneak into a scene unnoticed. He takes great pride in his little shadows, and the job they do in the Leaf, understanding it is difficult. He is more involved than any of his predecessors. He rarely helps out, more observing and grading, but has leaped in a few times to save a team from doom. It often then involves an hour long lecture. Kaito's rule is anyone is free to talk with him... if they can find him. The fact he often steals other masks to blend in makes this almost feel like cheating.

Kaito's knifework is legendary, but his trick that few know has more to do with genjutsu, and an application of the gates. Once he has observed an opponent, he instantly puts himself in a simulation against the, and uses the gates and a burst of chakra to speed up his brain, fighting them again and again in his head, until he is confident in their weak points. Most opponents only fight Kaito once, but Kaito has fought all of his opponents a thousand times each. Kaito's memories often become overfilled, and he carries around scrolls he dumps thoughts into when it is too full.

  Personality: A calm and centered man with a easy smile and a sweet aura of joy that follows in his wake. He is a kind individual, a caring father and a hard working single parent. He donates regularly to children's shelters, he takes care of a lovely little garden outside his narrow two story home and is more than willing to gush about his darling daughter. Why, he'll even treat you as family should you become friends, and hes a very easy man to become friends with!
  
  
  All in all, a man you would never truly expect of anything malicious. And, you would be utterly correct for thinking so. He would not harm a fly, and is even hard pressed to put up fly tape in the middle of summer... Though he is more than willing to employ plenty of carnivorous plants, they have a lovely look to them! They conserve such energy for those moments, something to be respected and carefully cared for.
  
  
  Yes indeed, a man who is, utterly and without question, someone to not consider a threat in the slightest. he desires nothing more than to live his life happily, occasionally go off for business abroad and tend to his slowly growing business. It's a corner store of course! Lyn helps him on occasion with it if he has to head off, shes such a smart cookie that one. Welcoming and pleasant, he'll gladly give you a discount for a bright sunny smile!
  
  
  History: Where a bright sunny flower grows, so doth death fill it's soil. Sometimes one oft must do what they need to do to survive, and survive is what Kazuo knows best. This drive to survival and completion of missions is what drove ANBU to pick him up from a young age, and now he has proudly, and without a singular word, served as a shadow of the darkest night for several decades.

    • Description: With a singular seed from the user adapted through Senju techniques the user plants it at a location alongside an object, which will grow immedately downwards into the soil with the object. The object can be retained with a signal from the user utilizing the same handsigns, with chakra expenditure measuring how much force the seedling with exert in the expulsion. The seedling can grow to full size in seconds and can safely house even a living person. The only sign of it's presence being a small leafy plant popping from the dirt.

    • Description: Much akin to it's lower ranked cousin this rapidly growing seed does much of the same, but with a much more terrifying result. The seed produces a carnivorous plant capable of a bite much akin to a steel bear trap, and produces a naturally numbing poison from it's jaws that also dissolves skin. This is transformed into nutrients to repair and further grow the plant. Further techniques in this manner are to be seen in light of day.

  Team: <Taisei>
  Personality: He’s spent every waking moment of his life highly aware of his place in a variety of regimented, violent military or quasi-military hierarchies. He is not a chill dude by any means. Friendly, yes. Polite and helpful, absolutely. After extended time in his presence, you might even find him kind. But he essentially never relaxes and views this as one of his best traits. One of those people who’s always “on” and “on” here means “down to commit murder.”
  
  History: Taisei was born the second child of a Hyuga branch family couple. Like all branch children, he was sealed on his fourth birthday, and taught that his primary purpose in life was to be a bodyguard and possible organ donor for the main family, who could also torture him whenever they saw fit. In addition, he lived in what was effectively a feudal-era palace compound with about a hundred members of his extended family, all of whom could see through walls.
  
  He was a thoroughly average student who graduated and was placed on a thoroughly average genin team. After an uneventful chunin exams (he wasn’t promoted), a recruiter for ANBU approached him and made an offer that was instantly appealing. Even ANBU, with its rigid structure and forced anonymity, was more freedom than Taisei would ever get as a regular shinobi.
  
  He could have simply told his family that he wasn’t going to be a shinobi anymore, but an injured or retired branch member was still bound by clan laws. The only way out of the Hyuga clan is death. So Taisei died.
  
  Obviously, he didn’t actually die. In collaboration with his jōnin-sensei, who received a late-night visit from some mysterious masked men, he faked his own death on a mission and slipped into the shadows. The fact that he genuinely loves his parents and older sister complicated this decision; whatever he’s done in the following decade, he views making his family mourn him as the worst thing he’s ever done.

  For starters, they’re not all shinobi. You don’t get that rich dying young. The Hyuuga’s prestige within Konoha comes from the powerful warriors they produce, but their wealth comes from the silkworm farms and weavers scattered throughout southern Fire Country. It is said that the family’s three pillars are the loom, the mulberry tree, and the blade.
  
  But about those warriors.
  
  Gifted with the Byakugan, the Hyuga family are uniquely capable of seeing the inner workings of the human body and are therefore very good at breaking it. But it’s a somewhat open secret in the shinobi world that the structure of the Byakugan isn’t too much different from a conventional eye, and that the vast majority of the Hyuga clan have O-negative blood. For a gifted medic, an organ transplant would be frighteningly easy. The Hyuga clan chose to deal with this by means of the Caged Bird Seal, which essentially liquifies the bearer’s eyes upon death. It can also cause the bearer incredible pain, and is used by the main family as a means of disciplining and controlling their lessers.
  
  There’s a reason Taisei faked his own death.

  Not Gentle Fist. We’ll wait for you to recover from the shock. Taisei tries to do a little bit of everything, but sharply rejects his clan’s fighting style. There’s also the fact that he’s had no one to teach it to him since he was thirteen. He takes after his first ANBU captain: immobilize the target with genjutsu, then stab them in the throat.

  Personality: Kasane is the motherly sort (though she'll insist that it's more of a big sister thing) that cares deeply for her comrades and especially for those under her. Being well aware of the dangerous nature of her work this attitude often manifests as 'tough love' by forcefully driving them to grow stronger, strong enough that they can survive on their own in the not unlikely event that ANBU work kills or cripples her.
  
  Despite her more mature parental tendencies Kasane is very insecure about her age and will find a way to make anyone who calls anything resembling old suffer, she is also very evasive about how old she actually is and references her clan's longevity as a reason why she should still be considered relatively young.
  
  History: Born and raised within the Hidden Leaf Kasane was the oldest of three siblings and delighted in playing with and caring for the younger two in between her lessons at the academy where she also proved herself a reliable helper that pulled struggling students up alongside her occasionally to the detriment of her own performance.
  
  Once she graduated and was assigned to her genin team Kasane continued to shoulder burdens that would normally have been borne by her teammates doing everything she could to make things easier for them. However this helpful attitude proved detrimental when the team was entered into the Chuunin exams and the team were separated during the tests, without Kasane on hand to back them up one of her teammates was slain and the other so grievously injured that they retired leaving her to pass on her own.
  
  Accepting her new promotion with bitterness Kasane drifted through her new duties for a time until she was selected as a potential new host for the Five-Tails, while she appeared to be well suited for the role the initial attempt at sealing the beast went awry and it escaped going on a rampage around the village before being recaptured and successfully sealed on the the second try.
  
  In the aftermath Kasane was officially retired as an active Kunoichi due to damage incurred to her system by the beast's corrosive chakra, in reality however ANBU had approached her with an offer to join them which she accepted rather than remain in the open to face the stigma of failing to control the Bijuu.
  
  Clan Info: The Uzumaki are among the oldest allies of the Hidden Leaf and are famed for their sealing abilities and their unusual vitality, both traits make them ideal Jinchuuriki candidates.

  Hiden:
  Kasane's is the jinchuuriki of the Five-Tailed beast Kokuō granting her enhanced fire and water release abilities and their combination boil release along with an extra pool of chakra on top of her already sizeable reserves. Kokuō and his host has formed enough of an understanding that she is allowed to safely make use of the first two stages of the jinchuuriki transformation if required to defend her own life or that of a comrade, for her part Kasane is unwilling to risk their tenuous trust by trying to forcibly extract power for the full Tailed Beast Mode.

Hiroto Hyuga

Rank: S - Fourth Hokage of the Leaf
Description: Aloof, and standing it above it all, Hiroto is unquestionably the strongest ninja in the leaf. His mastery combining gentle fist with cursed seals make him unrivalled on the battlefield. Over a decade ago, with selection of Kasane as the new Jinchuurki of the Leaf, the 5 tailed beast rampaged across the Leaf. Many of the clans were able to drive it off, but no one seemed able to stop it.

Hiroto, at seeing the panic, simply walked to the street it was rampaging in, and sat down. The beast instantly attacked him, and the Hyuga repelled it, sending him flying back. Each attack was reflected with it's own strength, and a seal left on the beast. An hour left, Hiroto was still sitting in the road, but this time, atop a tailed beast, happily waving as a team came to contain the beast.

The Hyuga were not happy with how much fame a branch member was getting... but it was almost as if they'd lost control over his cursed seal.

The third hokage named Hiroto his successor eight years ago, and sent an uproar through the Leaf. Clans contended he wasn't a good reputation... but no one questioned his strength. No one stood in his way as he calmly walked into the office to claim his seat. And nobody spoke up in his presence when he was confirmed.

As Hokage, Hiroto often delegates to others. It's less that he's lazy, and more that, when he says he expects something done, he trusts that it is done, his word is law. He leaves ANBU duties mostly to Kaito, but does like to mess with any ANBU guards sent to protect him.

Jurou

Description: An orphan who as a child was often just looked over as being insignificant that through his exploits as a shinobi and his sheer determination made a name for himself. Jurou worked hard despite his lack of talent at Ninjutsu learning to master Taijutus and become a rather impressive ninja in his own right defying the odds. Through all his trials and tribulations he managed to obtain the rank of Jonin. His exploits have earned him many titles, some glamorous as 'Jurou of the 8 fists" or some... more questionable such as "Jurou the Lucky Drunk".

Jurou is a rather light hearted guy who doesn't often seem to take things very seriously. While resilient in his training it often looks as if he is goofing around more often then he is taking it very seriously. His interactions with others is often quite easy going and filled with many dad jokes of extremely questionable quality. He is more then willing to give a hand to anyone who needs help, something that is often a very bad idea without someone to keep him in check with how he can very quickly derail things.

Despite his outer demeanor, he can surprising take things seriously if needed.

Ayame Uchiha

Rank: Jounin - Head of Medical Corps
Description: Ayame almost always projects the persona of a caring mother towards patients. A beacon of calm in even the most chaotic of situations. Staff and students will find a figure that commands respect and perfection. Care of the patients is paramount, injured and poorly healed shinobi can't help protect the village after all. The mask of calm will also fade away for shinobi that refuse to heed her advice and let their wounds heal. Beware the snap of her water whip technique.

Teammate turned wife of the former Hokage, Ayame married into the Uchiha clan. She shares his love for the Hidden Leaf and takes great strides to aid the village in her own way. Whether that's in helping put the village's shinobi back together or training up the next generation of medical nin.

Kurio Shimizu

Rank: Jounin - Medical Corps
Description: Seemingly unshakeable, Kurio's soft smile and gentle voice never seem to leave in even the most high stress of situations. While it's meant to help keep patients calm, it can sometimes come off as unsettling. Under that mellow exterior is a great deal of sass and ever present exhaustion. He has little qualms with calling someone out on their choices.

Kurio's an avid reader of manga, it isn't uncommon to see him at the bookstore on what little time off he gets.

Having shown proficiency in medical techniques at a young age, Kurio was often tasked with keeping his chaotic teammates in fighting shape. From the moment he reached chuunin, Kurio found himself snapped up by the medical corps and placed under Ayame's tutelage. His skills were swiftly honed under his new sensei, even if he occasionally misses standard missions. Kurio specializes in survivability - both for himself and his allies- and wearing down opponents with debuffs.

While rarely voiced, the medic's always harbored ambitions of becoming Hokage and is constantly looking to sharpen his skills for the goal. Even if it doesn't appear to be in the cards for his future.

Akari Nakamura

Rank: Jounin - Kenjutsu Master
Description: A figurehead of the Nakamura clan, she is technically the closest thing to a political figure who represents the clan. Her sharp tongue is only rivaled by that of her swordsmanship, proving to be quick and efficient in her illusionary techniques and her use of chakra flow with her special katana.

Outside of a job, Akari, while being a staunch traditionalist of her people's ideals and ways, is usually sweet and gentle to those around her. She doesn't force the ideals onto others and prefers to help others in self-enlightenment. However, her disdain and disappointment towards those like the ANBU is met with a very rare side to her, who those of her family only have seen behind closed doors. The ANBU threaten their very ways, tempting the people of Konoha to do the horrible things they do. While she may not have information on the ANBU, being the figurehead of the clan had its perks. She tends to be the first person to know about anything happening to her family and she happens to be the one who doles out punishment towards her own flesh and blood for the sins of her family. She is rarely violent, but she can be cruel if pushed.

She owns a kenjutsu dojo within Konoha. It's small and only has a few members, most of which are made up by her children, nieces, and nephews. However, she hopes that the way of the Nakamura's sword will be taught to Konoha as a whole.

Kateo Inuzuka

Rank: Jounin - ANBU Tracker-Nin
Description: A 25-year-old sweetheart as a shepherd with his pair of nin-dogs, but a scary tracker-nin behind a mask, Kateo is an eccentric, silly, paranoid man. Kateo didn't follow the usual harsh and headstrong stereotype of an Inuzuka, having been born with a stutter that gets worse the least confident he is with himself or when he feels an alarming amount of negative emotions. Thankfully, he hasn't lost his stubbornness.

Like the other fledglings of the ANBU, Kateo was cast aside by his clan. They gave him two husky pups, yet he still had difficulty becoming a shinobi and completing his time in the academy. Or learning their hiden-specific jutsu for his companions.

However, he was shown to have an excellent knack for hiding and, while his ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu could have been better, he was shown to have an exceptional sense around him. It seemed like he just had a sixth sense with his surroundings to such a keen level that people thought he was a sensor-nin.

To which he was.

However, his attempt at being with a team as a genin didn't go so well. He was the weakest genin on his team, unable to protect himself if neither his pups nor his teammates were there to protect him. Resentment for being dead weight began to rise and he soon trained in his genjutsu and traps. When he failed his own chunin exams years ago, he was approached by the ANBU. Being an exceptional sensor-nin, he was taught how to be a tracker-nin. He took up shepherding with his dogs as a cover and to further his connection with the animals he loved. Becoming an ANBU member allowed him to put his anger into training and with better teachers, he became far more reliable on his own now. Even his dogs have gained a sense of bloodlust that wasn't seen when they were puppies and became his many lines of defense.

Mana Uegaki​

Rank: Civilian

Description: If you want something, Mana can get it for you. And if you have something you need gone, she knows someone who will take it off your hands. Although living in the military capital of Fire Country means that she has to keep her operations small, her reach is wide and she's the epitome of discretion. And her particular skill in acquiring poisonous plants keeps her popular with shinobi.

Mana lives in Buta-chō ("Pigtown"), a run-down and somewhat disreputable neighborhood of Konohagakure. She's in her thirties.

Relationship to the characters: A guy Taisei knows, for reasons he will not elaborate on.

Shion Ogumo

Rank: Loooong retired
Description: Matriarch of the Ogumo clan and one of the founding members, Shion is rarely seen outside of the clan's compound these days. Some say it was an injury during a mission long ago that led to her reclusiveness, others just say it's her age finally catching up. Having been present at the village's founding, Shion has a wealth of knowledge to share with her little "spiderlings" as she's taken to calling the clan's children. Despite her age, she helped defend the clan's home during the tailed beast's rampage through the village leading to no shortage of rumors that she's formed a summoning contract with a monstrous Jorougumo.

A master weaver, she's made the haori for all four of the Hokage.

Tora Benzaiten

Description:

3rd daughter of the Benzaiten main branch, Tora was born strongly affected by her dojutsu, the Aichakugan. It's tendencies for her to empathize meant she often developed serious and spontaneous crushes on just about everyone she met. She was kept inside the clan premises, until a certain mustached villian broke in, and offered her an escape, promising a better use to her abilities.

What Kaito failed to understand was the sheer number of restraining orders Tora could receive in a month... even as ANBU. It turned out easier for everyone involved to simply put her at the front desk of ANBU. She still harrasses people, but nobody really cares about ANBU members. Tora often follows people around after hours, and tends to know a little too much.

Still, Tora isn't entirely unpleasant, trying her best to be helpful, and is one of the most organized people in the Leaf, detailed notes on everything {And everyone} found somewhere in her desk area. If anything, Tora does her job of mission support a little too well...

Notable Jutsu

Aichakugan - An odd dojutsu in the Benzaiten clan, it is said to only occur with conception on White Day. The user's eyes become pink with purple irises, and extra ring around the iris.

The user is able to synchronize their emotions with an individual, causing an extreme affection for their target. This marks the target with their chakra, allowing the user to see through their eyes, and communicate with them by molding their chakra. It can also gift jutsu from the user to the target using the targets chakra

The marking runs out if the chakra is ejected, it wears out, or the user finds a new target they are affectionate towards. Tora Benzaiten never seems to have it active for more than a day on any target... if that.

Relationship to characters:

Often the 'questgiver', Tora mans the front desk, going through paperwork, and assigning any mission squad leaders or Kaito aren't assigning. Despite her quirks, she's quite accommodating, her main sins are a lack of personal boundaries, and creepiness. {Anyone feel free to highjack this character to handout missions, it's a friendly stalker at a desk}[/B]
