-Name-

Nagito Komaeda.

-Age-

22 years old.

-Appearance-

 View attachment 246149

-Personality-

A deliberate foil to the previous protagonist, Makoto. Like Makoto, Nagito is an optimistic, subservient student who was accepted to Hope's Peak Academy by raffle and received the title of Ultimate Lucky Student. Unlike Makoto, his title is more literal, as he experiences an extraordinary cycle of good and bad luck that ultimately works to his benefit when good or causes some sort of harm to him when bad. Initially thought to be a friendly, upbeat, somewhat meek young man, he is shown to be quite deranged in his pursuit of hope, believing it to be an absolute good that only his talented classmates can achieve. Because of his beliefs, he is completely willing to let his talented classmates walk over him, for he sees himself as inferior to them, all while keeping his cheerful, optimistic attitude and frequently referring to himself as a "stepping stone for [their] hope." He remains cheerful and enthusiastic even in horrifying situations when someone has died, which results in his classmates fearing him and finding him creepy.

-Skills-

Ultimate Lucky Student: Nagito got his title as the Ultimate Lucky Student by winning a lottery out of completely ordinary students, which led to him joining Hope's Peak Academy. He at first declined, saying that he didn't deserve it, but they insisted that he should attend. Nagito possesses a cycle of consistent good and bad luck. Whenever something extremely lucky happens to him, something extremely unlucky is bound to happen soon after. While the talent seems to protect him from death, it can cause him great suffering and has killed many people around him.

Keen Intellect: While his emotional skills are lacking, Nagito is one of the most intelligent characters of the second game. He is one of the best investigators in the group and he's also very skilled at planning as well as problem solving. Throughout the class trials, Nagito manipulates conversations and mentions points no one else thought about. A part of the reason Hajime found out who the culprits were in the trials was because of the constant hints and clues Nagito gave him. Often, he seems to be able to tell what Hajime is thinking and sometimes he can even correctly guess when and what Hajime is about to figure out. Strangely, Nagito also seems to have a good eye for noticing talent, hope and despair in other people. For example, Hajime never felt like an Ultimate to him and he turned out to be talentless. In chapter 3, Nagito only had quick blurry glances at Mikan's face, but he could tell that her expression was full of despair and he even called her Ultimate Despair, despite being currently unfamiliar with the term. In Danganronpa Another Episode, he could sense the potential in Komaru Naegi. He is also almost immediately attracted to Izuru's many talents, supposedly because he can sense his aura.

-Equipment-

Nothing notable.

-Background-

Nagito was a former student at Hope's Peak Academy and former participant in the Jabberwock Island Killing School Trip.

Sorry if the CS looks strange on default theme—I can't access the source code until the new update.

In any case, I'm a bit unsure about which version of him to use...

Once more a nice choice with Danganronpa. Accepted! And with that, this RP is now closed with no more exceptions being made.
