Hello~ Just a small introduction about Mi-Sun.
She is a character I made at the beginning of the year for a 1x1 Vampire x Human RP (as the human) and I've since made numerous short 1-shot openers of multiple variations of her and the characters from that RP. Essentially, I've been re-using her in AU's of my own RP, though none of them are more than a few paragraphs long, and are more or less just concepts and writing practice.
I recently decided to use her for a group RP and this is in fact the 2nd CS I've ever made for her, as the first was more or less just a concept, and when I started the 1x1 it was just her FC (Irene - RedVelvet)
But at that 1x1 which is still ongoing is over 9+ hours of reading, I've come to love her and she's developed into a full-fledged character with more depth than any I've had before.
Note - this is not her original character, but an alternate version

Personality:
What are they like?
Mi-Sun is a very quiet, shy, and calm girl at first glance. Often hiding away from others and retreating into herself, especially with those she's unfamiliar with, preferring to be alone even though she secretly wishes to be around people, it's difficult for Mi-Sun to be able to muster up the initiative to seek out that connection. If approached she may sink away unconsciously, but will eventually begin to open up over time, usually attaching herself to those she feels most comfortable with. In a group, Mi-Sun's attachments are a bit stronger, seeking safety in those that take the time to connect with her until she is able to reach an equilibrium within the group. When such a balance is achieved, her shell peels away to reveal a bright young woman.
When fully integrated with friends she's connected with or after becoming used to a situation she finds herself in Mi-Sun is surprisingly upbeat and excitable. Prone to breaking out into laughter over the smallest of things even if they're only really funny to her or making jokes and being silly at any opportune moment. Mi-Sun can lighten the mood in any situation, with a tenacity for trying to cheer up others even in the face of diversity.
Mi-Suns's serendipitous nature can bring smiles to those around her as long as they give the small girl enough light, water, and love to help her come into full bloom. A delicate flower with a pleasant sweetness no one can ignore.
Surprisingly enough, Mi-Sun's professionalism demeanor is a stark contrast to her shy self conscious nature. When serious there is no hesitation nor trace of her trademark shyness. This mindset is usually reserved for when performing or in situations in which taking initiative is the only option. Calm in a crisis, and level headed when taking instruction Mi-Sun can seem beyond her age while also displaying surprising leadership when it's necessary even if she'd prefer to follow instead. Though this headspace is usually instinctual or has to be coaxed out by herself or others if needed. Before or after entering this state of mind she is still very much that nervous introverted girl and will feel the force of that anxiety that culminated during her grace period. However, she's young and still growing into the woman she wishes to be, and with enough push, she can overcome the challenges of her own mind.
When it comes to her mannerisms, Mi-Sun is a planner through and through. She tries her best to plan for most situations, often carrying around her personal notebook and diary where she puts down all of her thoughts. Color-coded, neat, and tidy, it acts as a doorway into her mind which she often finds herself lost in when not having a direct focus.
Positive traits:
1. Hard-working and incredibly determined
2. Cares deeply about those around her even if not mutual
3. Intelligent and calculated, always one step ahead
4. Usually very upbeat and happy and hard to get down
5. Very observant, soaking in information when not distracted
Negative traits:
1. Works herself too hard sometimes to the detriment of her health and relationships
2. Has a hard time saying no and ends up taking on too much while also prone to manipulation
3. Extremely shy with new people and is very quiet and at first, will only speak when spoken to in social situations
4. Often gets lost inside her own head, thinking too hard about things which can turn in it worry and doubt
5. Extremely self-conscious, beating herself up over being "ugly", will retreat into herself and sink into a depression
Contrasting Traits:
1. Is scared/startled easily, yet she loves the horror genre despite being terrified of it
2. Has a hard time talking to people casually, but is surprisingly unfazed by performing in front of others
3. Independent and is optimal when alone, when not alone she can be needy and emotionally fragile without support
4. Honest with a strong moral compass, though isn't afraid of harmless mischief and likes to play pranks
5. Both childlike and mature, she can be both "baby" and "mom" when applicable
Strengths:
Strong Dancing Ability/Quick to Learn Choreo/Can Make Her Own Choreo
Mi-Sun has been dancing her entire life and it shows. Other than studying, the majority of her life has been dedicated to moving her body to the sounds of music. Trained by professionals for years from around the world Mi-Sun had picked up numerous dance styles and worked herself to the bone so she could perfect them, from Pop N' Lock and Tutting to Contemporary and Modern. She has a high degree of fine motor control and sense of balance, with even some experience in Tumbling.
Having learned so many choreographies over the years has given Mi-Sun a rather large register to pull from, as well as having trained her to learn new dances with relatively fast speed, though this is most certainly helped that she will usually dedicate a majority of her time to them. When cooling down and utilizing spaced learning techniques, she will use the time to practice and polish older choreo, or she will work on her personal projects. Whenever Mi-Sun doesn't have any new choreography she wants or needs to learn or work on, she will opt for spending almost, if not more work making her own. Which has quickly become one of her most relaxing hobbies though she has never shared or shown them to anyone before outside the simple dances she made for kids for her job.
Strong Vocal Ability/High Notes/Large Lung Capacity
Mi-Sun has been singing for only six years in comparison to her thirteen years of dance but excelled regardless, despite feeling much less confident in her vocal ability, she is still quite dedicated to it. Taking private lessons as well as the extra vocal and music theory classes at her institution where Mi-Sun got more than her fair share of practice. Despite wanting to rap, her mother had her work on most other styles instead, prioritizing vocal range to utilize her mezzo-soprano to soprano range as her lung capacity was naturally high, a possible benefit from years of dancing, allowing her to hold high notes for extended periods.
Multiligual
Raised in Britain, English was Mi-Sun's first language, but with tutoring from her mother and frequent visits to South Korea to visit family Mi-Sun had grown up bilingual. Her mother also had forbidden her from speaking English at home or when in Korea, strengthening her ability with the language, but also affecting Mi-Sun's accent when speaking English, something she's quite embarrassed about and tries to suppress.
Weaknesses:
Poor at Dealing with Harsh Criticism
Mi-Sun had always been self-conscious and self-criticizing, under the harsh thumb of her mother, any kind of mistake had her reprimanded heavily and she grew to fear failing others. Desperate to appease those around her, she always strives for her best, but the weight of mean comments in regards to her ability or body is crushing, even constructive criticism can be hard to swallow. When in a negative mood from such things she will go to unhealthy lengths to improve as to not make those mistakes again, even if there were none.
Poor Communication/Social Presence
Shy and quiet around people she doesn't know, Mi-Sun's social skills are a bit lacking. She's much better at talking to children then she is those her age. Even when she has something to say, whether it's important or simply her opinion it's hard to speak up and will either go as an unnoticed whisper or not said at all. When in a room of people she can easily be skipped over and unconsidered. Small, quiet, and usually hiding under a large hoodie in a spot furthest away from others it's obvious why. It's incredibly hard for her to initiate a conversation and such she doesn't unless it's done by the other person.
Requires Support
When it comes to dealing with things she is afraid of or situations she finds herself uncomfortable with, Mi-Sun will stick to the back as much as possible and won't contribute if she doesn't have to, even if she wants to. When finding someone she can communicate effectively with, she will rely on them to guide her through interacting with others, or to ease her anxiety. Often holding onto said person when walking outside or using them to say what she wants to say if the situation becomes too overwhelming. Those she trusts are often her only window into a majority otherwise she'd stick to just being alone. Mi-Sun also needs accompaniment when doing things such as flying or being out at night.

Backstory:
Life so far:
Mi-Sun was born and raised in London, England with her parents and younger sister. When she was still very young her parents divorced and her mother claimed custody over her, while her sister chose to live with their father. This left Mi-Sun alone with the woman who she had learned to fear, always pushing her harder, further, with no end in sight. Her childhood wasn't around friends, it was with instructors and tutors. School was the forefront of her life, with her only reprieve being dancing. She never felt freer than when tuning her mind into the music that vibrated through the air, through her body. However, her mother exploited this as well, sending Mi-Sun to the International Korean Institute of Dance and Academic Pursuits, also know known as KID-AP.
For Mi-Sun it was in actuality a blessing, to be away from home and to allowed to indulge in her favorite thing. Without her mother breathing down her neck, the rather tiny girl began to gain confidence and while she was incredibly embarrassed by her fused accent and feeling alienated in her previous school, at KID-AP many people spoke Korean and loved dancing just as much as she did, with equally harsh parents. For the first time, Mi-Sun began to have friends, and while it wasn't easy, both social interaction and the curriculum, with the help of the few friends she did have, she was able to meet more people simply by proxy. This interaction and environment brought out her warm and incredibly cheerful personality.
After getting enrolled in vocal training Mi-Sun found even more friendships, it was some of the happiest times of her life. She finally felt like a normal girl who could function around others and had a free will of her own. Even taking a job as a dance instructor for the London Youth organization. However, after graduating and moving directly into university, having finished undergrad when she was eighteen Mi-Sun's mother was admitted to the hospital; causing the young girl to put her academics on hold and come home to care for her ailing mother who had been dealing with cancer for years without telling her daughter.
For the first time, Mi-Sun reflected on just how much she loved her Mom and how much was sacrificed for her. The education, tutoring, workshops, they were all paid for with her mother's life savings. It was hard for Mi-Sun to understand why her mom had taken on so many jobs, pushing her weakened body just so she could sing and dance. Her mother's only response was "Because it made you happy, something I didn't know how to do myself." The words stung her heart, she really did love her Mom, despite how much pressure and pain she felt from their relationship, her Mom was only doing what she knew how to do even if it was flawed, they were only human.
"I wanted you to be a Doctor, but I always knew you'd shine brighter as a star." Were the last words Mi-Sun ever heard from her Mother. She rested her head on the body of her Mother who held her a tight as she could, but when she woke the next morning, it wasn't her alarm that broke the heartbroken girl from her slumber, but the high pitch tone of a flatlined ECG.
Mi-Sun eventually moved in with her Father and her younger sister and decided she would do whatever it took to become a Kpop idol, no matter what. In the hopes that if she shined bright enough, her mother would be able to spot her from the sky.
Family:
Kyung-Soon Kim (김 경순) - Mi-Sun's mother who wanted the best for her daughter, but didn't know the best way to do it. She inadvertently caused a lot of Mi-Sun's insecurities and social anxieties with her harsh parenting style but still dedicated her life working to make sure Mi-Sun had only what she believed to be the best, and wished nothing more than for her daughter to achieve her dreams. She passed away, leaving Mi-Sun with the resolve to become a Kpop Idol for the both of them.
Jackson Brooks - Mi-Sun's native British father who had gotten divorced from her mother when she was young. He cares about her just as much as he did Yeona, despite only directly raising the latter. He still loved his ex-wife and did his best to help his daughters cope with the aftermath of her death. He fully supports Mi-Sun's goals and would make sure she achieved them.
Yeona Brooks ( 브룩스 연아 ) - Mi-Sun's younger sister who is still in high school. She looks up to her sister and wishes to be just like her someday. Whenever they would visit each other, Mi-Sun and Youna would spend all night listening to Kpop and watching Idol/group survival shows. They love each other very much and promised to always look out for one another.
What made them want to be an idol?:
Mi-Sun had always loved dancing, and when she took up singing because of her mother, the prospect of being an Idol was suddenly open for her, though she never thought she would have the courage to try, especially living in and going to school in Britain where her immediate family lived.
Why did they audition?:
After her mother's passing, she made a vow to become an Idol to achieve her own dream and to make sure her mother's efforts were not in vain. When Mi-Sun's father had shown her the application for the show, she didn't hesitate to fill out the form and send it in. It was the opportunity she was waiting for.
