A black haired teen sat, leaning with his legs hanging out of the window to his room. He was dressed in a jet black hoodie, which showed evidence of dark stains. He wore a small surgical mask to cover his face. The once clean, white fabric was now covered in dirt, and a few small, red specks. With a practices stealth, he climbed out the window while hastily tying a black ribbon around his head, thin enough to see throuh, but not enough to reveal his facial features.
A soft thump announced his escape from the apartment. As he crept down the alleyway, the metallic gleam of knives shone from his back, where they were strapped tightly. His dark grey sweatpants hung loosely around his ankles, so he rolled them up, revealing that his shoes were worn down tennis shoes, with frayed laces.
Shadow engulfed him and soon he was prowling the nighttime streets of Detroit.

Isabella Cornelia Contiellos
The girl was sleeping her long slumber as she was staying inside the graveyard. It was her only home after the events of what happened, her house was burned down to the ground to dispose any evidence that it happened. Isabella was living inside a secret bunker underneath one of the graves that resided in there. It was a testing chamber of sorts but whatever life that lived inside it already left. Her mind was starting to become alive and so did her body. She started to stretch her arms and pat Leviathan on the head, "Come on Leviathan, let's get moving. The night is still young, our leads may be useful.", the woman said as she stood up and opened a hatch that leads to the outside world. The moon shines bright behind her as she left the hatch. "Shall we go then, miss Isabella?", the dragon-like serpent asked her as the girl responded with a nod. They continued to walk to their destination, hoping that it was not another dead end.

The black haired teen skunk throughout alleyway after alleyway, alert for anything suspicious. He made a quick circle around his neighborhood, before taking onto the city streets for his nightly rounds. The roads were bathed in moonlight, and the sidewalks gleamed silver.
A snore echoed through the small alley, snatching the teen’s attention. He glanced to the side and found that there was an old man leaning against a wall, dressed in ragged clothes filled with holes. A small, plastic water bottle was placed next to him, with a few meager coins in it. The teen bit his lip, pausing for a moment, before ultimately deciding to snatch a dollar and an assortment of coins out of his pocket and drop it into the bottle. He wished he could give more, but he had just emtpied his pocket of money. The boy had half the mind to give nothing, fter all, he barely had enough money for himself, let alone a stranger, but he could alays earn more later. Odd jobs weren’t that hard to come by, and, if nothing else, he could resort to dragging his ukulele to the park.

Iris was in the middle of an interrogation. Or rather, she has the info she needs, but now she's pretending to not have enough. She's currently in front of a gang leader. He made the mistake coming to an isolated place without his lackeys. "Sadly, I don't think the information you provided is enough for me to find your boss. You aren't holding anything back from me, are you?" The girl wore green-tinted contacts and a cap on her head, to conceal her identity. She was dressed in all black, this was so she could hide from police officers and enemies she made. She placed her hand on the cowering man's bare neck, a devilish grin forming on her face. "I guess if you're holding back, I'll have to put in extra effort..." Before the man could plead further, her quirk started activating. His screams sounded out, echoing through alleyways, but stopping near sidewalks due to the noisy streets.

Isabella Cornelia Contiellos
At last, she arrived to her destination, a bar that seems to be booming. The neon sign was brightly lit, saying, The Black Cat's Club. She got a note from her bag and decided to compare it to the sign. The image of the sign matched with the neon sign in all it's characteristics. "Looks like this is the place, Leviathan.", she says to her dragon companion. "Let's not waste time and proceed inside the establishment.", Leviathan says as he was preparing his self for a brawl. "No, we mustn't rush inside directly, we'll have to find a stealthy way inside.", the woman says as she starts to look for spots to where she could enter. She thought of entering in the back entrance. Isabella starts to walk to the back of the building but it was guarded with a chain fence. The top of the fence had barbed wires, it surely was guarded securely whatever they were hiding. "Leviathan, if you may?", the girl asks as the serpent proceeded to cut away the metal fence. The fence was no match against the dragons strength as it was cut off easily. "Good dragon!", Isabella says as the dragon-like serpent smiles. She enters through the fence and proceeds to hide behind a box. There was no one guarding the place but she still raised her guard and entered the building. The colors of the back of the establishment was certainly plain and drab compared to the front where the wall complements the furniture with it's color scheme. She explored more to find a room that has a sign saying, Authorized Personnel Only, which made her curious in what was inside that room.

Nick's day had been like any other ever since he arrived in the US. He woke up, went to school and came back home to spend the rest of the day playing videogames.
Today though, he decided to take a walk around the neighbourhood. He hoped this place was better than his home in terms of safety.
While walking around the neighbourhood he noticed a bar he hadn't before "The Black Cat's Club". The place was very active inside with the chatter being heard from outside where he was. Sadly he was only fifteen and would probably not even be let in. To be honest, he wouldn't want in anyways, too noisy.
As he continued walking, he decided to look up at the stars. Bad mistake.
He didn't even notice the people around him dissapearing, the streets turning into a scene out of a horror movie. He suddently felt his body being pushed into an alleyway; He had been tackled and was now on the floor. Two men stood above him while the one who attacked him was still getting up. They grabbed him by the shoulders, putting him on his feet. One of them had a knife and the other a baseball bat.
"Hand over all you got, you lil' s### !" One of them demanded as another approached a knife to his arm, giving him a cut. A large, crimson tendril shot out of the cut, hitting one of the man on the eye at an insane speed. As he was staggered, Nick pulled his other arm back, leaving the other man only with his hoodie as he ran away.
He ran deeper into the alleyway, another mistake, as he clearly couldn't fight them alone. Soon he ran into a dead end, where he hid behind a dumpster. He heard the men screaming as they came after him.

Screams and shouts were heard echoing down the alleyways. No one appeared to be payong attention to them, probably just assuming they were people having a little too much to drink, but the teen stopped, pausing for only a moment before darting down a nearby alleyway in search for the source of the screams.
A trail of inky figures followed him, soon enveloping him in darkness, rendering him almost invisible in the night’s shroud of shadow. As he crept around a corner, a boy came into sight, along with two men, armed with a baseball bat and a knife. A smirk alighted the vigilante’s face. “Am I interupting?” He purred, his teeth shining in the moonlight as the shadows receded.

Nick looked at the person that had just showed up, a Hero ?
The men, without any thought, rushed at the new person, brandishing their weapons. They swung wildly at him, still screaming in rage.

The teen silently grabbed his surgical mask and pulled it over his mouth, his eyes flashing with anticipation. Swiftly, dodged the first few blows as he shot off a number of sarcastic comments. “Too slow!” “How’s that bat workin’ for ya?” “Man, even my granny can fight better than this. And she’s dead!”
He moved like he was a shadow himself, dipping and dodging away from the mens’ fists with liquid ease, not once even raising a finger to attacks. Nonetheless, he managed to get one of the men knocked out as the one with the bat swung it in a whirlwind of rage. Not a second after the first fell to the floor, a bat flew towards the teen and hit him straight in the stomach. He flinched, and his voice was slightly out of breath when he said, “That’s gonna leave a mark...” Out of nowhere, a knife embedded itself in his back, prompting the black haired teen to whirl around, bringing his hands together as he did so. Instantly, the entire alley was filled with an inky black cloud, blinding everyone within.
A few thumping sounds were heard. Silence fell. Minutes passed, and slowly, the cover lifted, revealing three bruised, but otherwise unharmed, unconscious men slumped on the floor. The boy stood in the middle of the dogpile, holding his shoulder gingerly. “Dang it. Third hoodie this week.” He hissed under his breath.

Humming to herself, walking home, she made shortcuts through alleys, hoping to get jumped, sadly nobody did, so she was left walking down the alleyways without anyone to enact justice on. She climbed up a fire escape, getting on the roof of the building. She set up a plank system that led to the roof of her building. She probably should have checked how sturdy her planks were before placing them. One may have snapped under her foot. She didn't fall with the plank though. She did look over the ledge to see where it landed. Half smashed on top of a dumpster, another landing on one of the unconscious people down there "Oh that's gonna leave a mark... Hmm?" She looked down, seeing one man hiding by a dumpster and the other near the bodies. Either a vigilante or a criminal. One of those she can enact her justice on. She yelled down at the two in the alley. "Heeeey" She waved her hand "Are either of you evil?"

“Nope! Just your friendly neighborhood vigilante!” He said in feigned cheerfulness. As he turned to leave, he called, “Also, if you’re from the police force, sorry about crashing your car last week! I would pay you back, but I’m broke.” Swiftly, he darted down the other side of the alleyway, wincing from the stab wound, which was still dripping scarlet red blood.

Isabella Cornelia Contiellos
As Isabella was proceeding to open the door, she heard a noise that came from the back which startled her. "Did they already return?", she asked as she took a peak in what's happening in the alleyway. She saw two men and a very dark cloud. There seems to be a woman on the rooftops, observing the duo in what they were doing. "Miss Cornelia, I think it's not for the best if we interrupt with the situation at hand.", Leviathan whispered to her as the girl went back inside and proceeded to hold the door knob and open it with grace. What she saw behind the door shocked her, it was filled with the severed parts of multiple humans and bodies that were stitched together. She almost gagged at the smell of the room and it's horrific scene. The woman spotted a desk and some notes about reanimation and bringing the dead to life. Isabella was confused at the thought of it, "Reanimation? Now that is impossible to do.", the girl continued the search the desk for more clues in who was behind it all. She spotted some names and locations but she already visited those and got nothing from out of them. She saw a name that piqued her interest, "Lorenzo Medici? How did his name end up here?", it was the name of her father's co-owner of a company. "It seems he is involved in the massacre. His influence over the city is quite large so taking him down and exposing him will be a difficult task.", the dragon said as his name was mentioned. Isabella grabbed some notes about reanimation and the name of Lorenzo Medici. She proceeded to walk out of the building and into the alleyway. The two men was still there in the alleyway. She started to say something with a confused tone, "Am I disturbing anything?", preparing her dragon if anything starts to happen.

Nick walked out from behind the dumpster, looking around for the vigilante who had saved his life.
"Didn't even get to thank him.." He said as walked towards the unconsious thugs. A bloodstain on the ground lifted itself, flying straight into his arm, healing his cut. He looked up at the lady ontop of the building.
"And I'm just checking out the place, nice little alley here, really spooky.." He said, sarcasm pouring from his words.

Kinren was on his way to retrieve his medicine for his failing body. He walked down the empty side walk slowly. His breathing was labored and he limped from time to time.

Kinren all of a sudden was bumped and lost his balance. He glanced down to see who had bumped into the villain and sighs at only seeing a child. Kinren bent down and helped the child to thier feet. After doing so continued to the meeting place for his meds. He walked into the alleyway but stopped as he noticed the men he was getting his meds from laid on the ground. Kinren sighs as he leans against the left wall to rest.

Diana wasn't stressing. She wasn't stressing at all.

At least that's what she'd tell you, but watching her walk home from her job as a waitress, still in full uniform, chewing on the butt of her very-marked-up pen while pouring over a download of yesterday's Calculus lecture would tell a very different story. A picture is worth a thousand words after all, and a picture of her right now would detail the default existence of a college alumni. She might look put-together wearing a pair of plain black dress pants and a white button-up blouse, but anyone who cared to look down at her plain black sneakers or up at her disheveled hair could tell she wasn't too thrilled with the way the professor decided to explain derivatives and integrals. Diana's face scrunched up in concentration, as if she could figure out whatever dark magic the professor was trying to teach her by glaring at it long enough. She sighed. It wouldn't be the first time she'd need to consult a tutor, and it sure as hell wouldn't be the last. Putting her phone back in her pocket, Diana grudgingly accepted defeat for the time being. Integrals could be dealt with later. Right now, she just needed to get-

-home? Not even bothering to look up at her surroundings, she almost ran right smack into a guy darting out of the alleyway she just happened to be walking passed. "Gah! Sorry, I really didn't mean to run into-" Again, Diana was too surprised to continue, watching the boy's back. More specifically, the dark stain that seemed to grow from a tear in the back of his black hoodie. A cold chill ran down her spine. It wasn't that late out, was it? It had to be around 10:00 pm. It was dark, but she didn't think there'd be violence in the streets already. Suddenly, she heard footsteps coming back from the alleyway. Diana turned to find a young boy stepping out of the shadows. She instantly relaxed. Until she saw the fresh cut on his arm. "Oh gosh! Are you okay? Who did this to you? You need me to call someone?"

“Oh!” The cut teen yelped. “I- uh... Nope! I’m fine! Really!” He said, raising his hands beside his face in a harmless gesture, before hastily shoving them into his hoodie pocket when he remembered they were dotted with scratches from fights earlier in the week. He silently prayed that she hadn’t caught the news lately, where he had made an appearance, not because of the person he saved from a guy with a knife-quirk, but because when the police arrived and arrested him, he had crashed the cop car. The ribbon around his eyes wrinkled as he squinted slightly, “I- uh, gotta go.” He mumbled, shifting his surgical mask slightly higher on his face in hopes of concealing it better. He flinched slightly as his hoodie settled further onto the cut, but made no sound.

Kinren sat up off the wall and sighed. He left the alleyway to head back to his hideout near the proheros headquarters. As kinren walked he noticed some people selling dream catchers but ignored it.

Kinren stumbled slightly and said out loud " dam I need my meds, those idiots were stupid getting caught." kinren stopped again to rest on the bench in front of the bar.

As Nick was leaving he ducked down to grab his hoodie. It was all dirty now. He sighed as he thought about having to clean it as he walked out, noticing the person who saved him run off and a woman.
He threw it over his shoulder, walking out of the alley and at the woman, who bombarded him with questions.

"Er..I'm fine, don't worry, just went for a walk at the wrong time." He chuckled nervously, putting his hand over the wound, which was basically a scar at this point thanks to his quirk "Thankfully that guy saved me." The boy spoke with a weird accent, and even though his english wasn't bad he still had some insecurity in his tone, as if he didn't talk alot.

A golden shine flashes across the night sky as Jean flips across the rooftops, eyes closing for a moment as she enjoys the speeding sensation before suddenly turning on a dime and heading out once again. A wide grin is plastered across of face as she lets the energy build and surge with her movements, small rotations across her bodys limbs as another graceful leep takes place, if anything this was good practice, maintaining the form and posture without effort as the feeling keeps surging.

Another flash shines out as a ball leaves her fingers and into a crooks attempting to break into a wharehouse, her barely seems to realise whats happening before he suddenly starts spinning away to crash into the opposing wall falling unconcious. *And another one bites the dust* with a few clicks she forwards the image and location to the nearest police station, *Hmm wonder which agency's territory that is? eh not important. You loose you weep* think that makes 12 tonight anyway and the nights still young. Out the corner of her eye several gathering figures can be seen in a nearby alley, maybe lucky 13? Well the police scanner was being silent for now so might as well take a look.

Landing in a crouch on the edge of the ledge she glances down to the scene below, *lets see Brazilian accent but pretty pale, A Jersey waitress, Scruffed up one.....* Jeans eyes move to the opposing rooftop Oh....and seems a School girl got the same idea. "Well howdy, now seems like you all have a little gathering here, outside a club late at night and you dont seem like the drinking sorts" casting a short wave to them as she announces her presence "Now given the unconcious people, you wouldnt be a bunch of darlings and let me in on whats going on here?" her grin extremely wide as she squats, resting her arms across her knees and waits for a response. Eyes shining brightly, the scene looked a bit like a mugging gone right, but cant hurt to get a bit more info.

Nick was caught off guard as he heard a voice behind him, he quickly turned to see a woman, a good looking one at that, ontop of a building. He was stunned by her sudden appearance for a brief moment. After that, he immediately noticed her uniform and recognized her as a hero, or atleast another vigilante like the one that had run off moments ago.
"I was being robbed" He explained once again, sounding oddly used to this type of thing "Another hero was just here." He pointed over his shoulder with his thumb to where the man had ran off to.

Raising a brow at her reaction "Well that really does sound like fun, ive not been robbed myself personally before but always curious what it would be like" Sliding down the wall in a spinning motion as her feet seem to glide off the surface before landing down near the bodys of the Muggers and checking the pulse *Alive and stable, not too badly messed up. hopefully learn a bit from this. If not well be seeing them soon maybe* flashing a wide grin to herself as she rightens her body and flashes a wide grin to the Pale boy.

"Though seems like your used to it?" shaking her head and running it through her hair *Hes not shaking, no heavy breathing, not looking too beat up...he lucky or there a bit more here?* muttering to herself "They really should start teaching the Civilians to use their quirks at least for self-defense" rolling their shoulders a little more "So they drag you in here? or you have another reason for hanging around other than meeting the citys colorful characters? While streets are getting safer with the right people at work, still best not to invite it if you get what i mean" idly sending a message over to the police for collecting the muggers to be safe.

He put his hands behind his head, stretching his back "Mhm, most of my family has been mugged atleast once. Without heroes a place can become...Quite the anarchy." He noted, crime rates in his country were at an all time high, while there were a very low number of heroes.
"Yeah, I was just walking and they pushed me in here. I managed to run, though.." He replied not sounding too happy about having run away, but he knew he would probably get into trouble if he did reply with violence. After all, his quirk was not really useful if not trying to kill or seriously injure "I just got bored and went for a walk." He shrugged, putting his hands on his pockets. The scar on his arm was visible, though it already looked quite old due to his quirk's healing ability.

Jean raises her hands to her side as she lets out a long sigh "Yeah sorry about that, only so much heroes can do, especially with heroes getting slowed down with all that boring paperwork and reports. Really could use a few more hands on deck that are not weighed down by such" throwing up a finger quickly "But they do get to where they are needed things are gonna be just fine"

*hmm, seems a little down. Well kinda understandable after a mugging attempt*

"But hey! if your not confident in what you can do or that you can handle it running isnt exacly the worst solution i guess, though seems there are times when runnings not enough so cant hurt to be careful when your out this late" cracking a eye open towards the long scar across his arm. Looked old, though there wasnt no real stretching, likely in past few years at most. "In any case, turn that frown upside down right?" giving a chuckle to try and cheer the kid up, her usual energy seeping out as she gives a quick spin from her stance.

Nick had already had this class, he knew the vigilante was trying to cheer him up. He complied, smiling.
"I will, thank you." He said to the woman in a happier tone "Err, anways, I should be going home now." He said, only now remembering he had escaped the dorms after curfew

She was still concerned over the guy in the hoodie, but a kid's arm had nearly been cut open for Pete's sake! She was about to reach out and examine the wound, but the boy quickly put his hand over it, looking a bit uncomfortable. He replied to her barrage of questions with the most adorable voice she'd ever heard. She would have squealed over the faint accent! Instead, she squeaked when she heard a rather loud "Howdy" cascading down from the rooftops. Only second to the sky directly above Diana on her list of the "most unexpected places to hear a 'hello' from". Eyes wide, she snapped her head up in the general direction of the strange hello. Sure enough, a rather "matured" older woman in typical female hero garb was crouched down, staring curiously down at them. Diana noticed the woman's gaze wander over to the "stabbed hoodie guy" as he walked away. She didn't stay distracted for long, though, because it only took a moment for the woman to start asking questions and examining the scene of what Diana could only guess was the result of some kind of alley brawl.

Immediately, a bunch of questions were springing up in Diana's mind: 'why and how was this boy involved in the fight?' 'how many of these unconscious people had quirks?' 'did she just narrowly avoid getting mugged herself?', it was all starting to give her a headache. The hero started asking them both questions Diana had no answers to but, to her surprise, the boy answered the questions almost professionally. Diana soon learned the boy had almost been mugged, but saved by who Diana now realized was some kind of hero or vigilante. She also learned that this hero was... Proactive, to say the least? It didn't really matter. What mattered is that this whole situation had given Diana a headache. The hero asked the boy to smile and the boy seemed to be on his way home. A brilliant idea, and one that Diana was about to also follow through with, until she realized she was in front of a hero. A hero she still didn't know the name of. Quickly, she turned and asked, "hey: you're a local hero, right? what's your name?" T Tinytiger28 Ribbit Ribbit PlusUltra PlusUltra
