There had been far less fanfare than Nobukatsu had expected. At least one member of the team seemed to notice him, the blond elf warrior. Nobukatsu racked his brain to try and remember if he knew his name. If he did, it wasn't coming to him. Either way, the Japanese Servant followed the man's shifting gaze, spotting one of the mushroom creatures only a few feet from him.

Nobukatsu was certain he had never seen such a creature before. A living mushroom, with a squashed face and little black shoes. Seeing how many of the rest of the team was dealing with them. He knew he was a weak man, even if he refused to admit it to others, but even he knew this creature was pitiable in it's weakness. A level one creature versus a boss level character like him.

How horribly one sided.

He unholstered his pistol and gave a well places shot to the creatures body. Whether it had effect or not, he continued on, walking towards the elven warrior.

"These things are really slowing you all down?"

Cass frowns. "They aren't slowing us down so much as we're looking for a safe way to get them out of here without unnecessary violence. I'm inclined to simply Teleport them out of here, since we've disabled the majority of them."

The Mew's eyes begin to glow.

"If anyone is holding any more and would like to assist, please bring them to the area I set up earlier. I plan on dispatching them back to their own world in the next five minutes or so."

Jak held the Mass Inverter in hand as the goombas were floating in the gravity field among his weapon. He looked over at Cass, the Mew and nodded "Right, I'll be back in a short while."

He raised an eyebrow at Nobukatsu "Depends on how you handle them."

"And the easier way isn't going to work." Daxter groaned

Jak's ears were longer than Link's and the man wore a pair of goggles, a handkerchief@, and a tunic.

Link only turned back to face the last two goombas in front of him once the other man had become aware of the situation. Due to the close proximity, he slung his bow across his shoulder and resorted to the newfound technique- springing up and landing with a foot on both mushrooms for the millisecond before they disappeared. With the remainder of the nearby monsters in Mew’s bubble, the blond’s sharp gaze rose to meet Nobukatsu’s.

He nodded towards the few that had already responded, then replied himself. “Plus there were more earlier.” Link’s curt explanation was a bit of an understatement. He had dealt with such egos before though, and decided against directly challenging the man. It wasn’t as if Link had anything to gain from such an action anyway. Still, since it appeared that he had some time to spare, the Hylian hero straightened himself to stare at Nobukatsu. He resembled the Rito champion from a century ago, moreso in personality than appearance. It made him curious.

Against his usually quiet nature, Link questioned, “What kind of world do you come from?”

Zach Cartweight & Martin Cartwright
The Child and the Adult were seen destroying some tombs in the background. The child's father was literally shooting and preemptively fighting the Goombas, not having much difficulty defeating them. The child tried to avoid conflict, by politely excusing himself silently and shimmying between the small brown mushroom looking entities . Whenever he couldn't , he blew them up with powerful eye lasers that seemingly evaporated them. They definitely did not have any trouble defeating them as of this point.

Zach shyly was behind Martin at this point, hugging his legs while Martin kept on shooting the Goombas. He never desired conflict, and honestly a child with such gifts is likely dangerous if provoked... Which he very much is.

Lyra Clarise and LZ-1156: Unknown Location [Village]; [OPEN TO INTERACTION]
"Pilot, I am detecting structures approximately 100 meters from our location, due West. I suggest we head there." Now Liz was getting somewhere. The Titan thudded with shaking footsteps further out of the clearing as a small villa became increasingly defined. The Titan stood out in the open, lowering the massive 40mm Cannon to a resting position as the ocular orb darted around in observation of the environment. "Caution: Unknown heat signatures detected in area." The last thing Lyra needed was more IMC harassing the shit out of her while she was stranded on an unknown location. Though, she suspected, if the Militia wern't here the IMC couldn't possibly be here either. If the individuals didn't hear the Titan, the next move it tried to do was emit a loud, two-tone mechanical chirp. If any Pilot was in the area, it woud serve as a nonverbal communication to locate each other. However the fact that the Titan itself attempted it was unusual.

"Hold position." As Liz spoke, Lyra was becoming more uncertain of what she was getting herself into. If the forces beyond the building were indeed hostile, she could end up with more than she bargained for by being on the Malta.

"Alright. I assume that's everyone. Preparing teleportation dispatch -- and then I'm returning to base. There is a matter there to which I must attend and I do not believe my presence will be needed for much longer. Link, and Pikachu -- perhaps I could borrow some of your time later today?"

So saying, the Mew blinks, revealing green eyes showing a small landscape -- and then the trapped Goombas vanish.

"Not a bad start."

Ruby and Pikachu
"On it!" Ruby chirped, as she once again activated her speedy semblance, disappearing into a petal of roses. As she sped, she began to encircle a group of gombas, running in circles around the gomba. Ruby was running so fast around the gombas that it caused them to become overwhelmed, as Ruby began to close the circle in on the group of monsters. But before one of them could get angry and charge their human enclosure, Ruby would quickly rush down the center of the gombas. The back draft of Ruby's speed was so strong it swept up the group of gombas, causing them to literally fly off the ground, following in Ruby's path. The red haired girl would rush foward a bit before abruptly coming to halt, allowing for the gombas to fly past her, as they landed stright into Cassiopeia's physic grasp.
"Pika! Pika!" 'Get in there!' Pikachu growled from the side, leap forward and using his iron tail move to knock a stray gomba back into physic net.
Both Ruby and Pikachu watched as the mew worked her powers, and with one swift thought, caused them to vanish.
"Pika! Pika!" 'Nice work!' Pikachu cheered, raising his hands up into the air in excitement.
"Yeah! High five little guy!" Ruby giggled, bring her hand down towards Pikachu, who upon noticing leaped up and slapped his paws against hers.
"Pika-chu..." 'Now that was impressive...' Pikachui cheered, as he looked up to Cassiopeia with a smile on his face. "...pikachu pika pik-chu pika, pika?"'...but I guess I shouldn't be surprised at the power of a Mew, huh?'
"Alright! Mission accomplished!" Ruby exclaimed, pumping her fist into the air, before looking around and giving the thumbs up to everyone around. "Great job team!"

Arthur and Iroh
The moment Arthur heard the bushes rustling, he was up from his seat, his weapon drawn.
"Hey! You spilled your te-""Sssh!"
As Iroh sat there, his expression sadden at the loss of tea now leaking all over the ground, Arthur had his revolver drawn and pointed in the direction of hte noise.
"Don't be doing anythin' stupid, unless you want your brains blown out..." Arthur called over in a rather threatening manner. "...come out slowly, we can do this peacefully and talk this out...."
"Really?" Iroh said, feigning shock, as he quietly walked over next to Arthur. "You can do things without resorting to violence?"
"Shut up." Arthur grunted, as he kept his eye trained on Orochi. "You from this world? Ms?"
"I don't think she is." Iroh said, taking a moment to examine the samurai. "I don't think those who live in this world dress like that, although she does look like one of those pretty Kisho warriors..."
"Hm..." Arthur grunted at Iroh words, before hearing the women inquire about their current location.
"We are at..." Arthur's words would come to an abrupt silence, as he riffed through his brain for a possible name for their current position. "...where are we?"
"I believe the inhabitants of this world call this place the "Ancient Forest"'
"Do they now? Well I never..." Arthur said, keeping his eyes and pistol aimed at Orochi. Iroh was now standing up with the tea cup still in his hand. "These trees don't look that old! Just a couple of hundreds of years younger then you!"
"Hey! I'm not that old..."
Iroh said, before looking to Orochi and giving her a suggestive wink."...well...it hasn't effected my ability to have fun..."
"Please, just stop while your ahead."
Arthur groaned and rolled his eyes at Iroh's response, mumbling to himself as he did. "God, next thing you'll tell me is that there's a place desert's called "Sandy Desert" or "Big Ravine"..."
"Close, it's called the Great Ravine."
"Oh, of course, my bad..." Arthur said, sarcasm brimming in his tone as he turn to look at Iroh, gun still trained on the women. "...who in god's name comes up with these names!?"
"Perhaps if you read the Intel that was provided on the world, you might have been able to learn why..." Iroh stated, before raising his tea cup to his lips and coughed into it "...*cough* and you might have also figured where to hit the giant lizard *cough*."
Arthur just gave Iroh a look, it wasn't a pleasant look.
"What? I'm just saying."
"Listen, I am in no mood to argue more about that godforsaken lizard!" Arthur exclaimed, his tone now had the addition of a rather upset element. "Harharhar! Idiot Arthur. There he goes again! Almost eaten by another monster! Is that what you wanted to hear?"
"Well...I never said that...but it does sound rather amusing." Iroh shrugged, not even flinching as he brought the cup up to his lips and took another sip. "But, if you were that concerned with it, why don't you ask the giant, walking egg what it thinks."
"What are the hell are you tal-" Arthur stopped abruptly for some reason. The former outlaw's gaze would land upon a rather large mech, standing out in the foliage...
Iroh took another sip out of his tea cup.

"You flatter me too much, Pikachu. I've only been gifted with the skills necessary to do the job I was assigned. Your teamwork impressed me -- I think the two of you must be nigh unstoppable in your own worlds. You'll all -- probably -- be happy to know that our opponents have been safely deposited in a forest in their own dimension where, for the time being, they pose little threat to their surroundings...and to all appearances are more relieved to be out of harm's way than disappointed in their rather quick relocation."

They stretch a little, grinning.

"I think there's a lot of potential for good here. As I said, I'm going to return now -- but as I have not yet had breakfast I would be happy to share with anyone caring to join me. I'm not too bad at cooking, if I may be so bold as to include that in my list of skills."

Nobukatsu gave a wry smile to Links questioning, and to the rebuttal from the other elven man. He considered how to reply, figuring it would be best to curtly remind them they were talking to nobility, after all, and they should act like it. He pressed a hand to his chest, as if preparing to deliver a great sermon.

"I am Oda Nobukatsu, the defacto daimyo of the prestigious Oda Clan. To further explain, I am nobility through several bloodlines of the Minimoto families. As for my person at this moment, I am a familiar known as a Servant. The highest form of Magical Familiar possible."

He said all this with a smug smile on his face, pumping up his own status as greatly as he could. He was the leader of the Oda Clan, since there was literally no one around to challenge him on that position.

"And do refer to me as Lord Nobukatsu, if you must address me."

Lyra Clarise and LZ-1156: Unknown Location [Village]; [Interacting with: Elekta Kount Elekta Kount ]

It was only a short matter of time before both the Pilot and the Titan reached the open clearing and stood still. The 'signatures' Liz referred to were now revealed in plane sight. Multiple, and she was losing count. The Titan's massive orbital center eye darted between them as Liz relayed a superficial scan of their appearances back to Lyra. "Non-IMC scanned. Clothing patterns suggest an ancient Eastern Asian monk. Secondary individual analysis resembles that of a 'Cowboy', circa late 1800's American West." Lyra just blinked. Maneuvering the massive rifle to holster it onto the back of the massive biped, she sighed. "Put me down, Liz." Without any much of a warning, the mech's front seemed to split open into two sections as if it were a giant can of tuna; revealing an interior as one of the massive hands reached in, gingerly picked up the occupant inside with a delicate precision, and placed her on the ground before the two fronts once more came together. The occupant was female, and looked more like a wasteland drifter with a helmet, two rifles on her back and a fancy looking pack in the middle. Wearily, she strode on up to the duo and spoke quite clearly through the speakers on the underside of the helmet. Her voice had a soft-spoken Northwestern inflection as she addressed them both. "Afternoon, gentlemen. I don't suppose you could tell me where I am, right?" The giant biped behind her meanwhile had its attention long elsewhere, seemingly staring straight ahead and scanning the village.

Link - Tags: people in village, CatJones CatJones @darkred JessieSune JessieSune , anyone else nearby

Link’s ears twitched up slightly when he heard his name come from the Mew’s... consciousness? As he looked over and mentally processed what the legendary Pokémon requested, he hummed in affirmation. Watching the teleportation of the Goombas somewhat reminded him of home, though the cause of teleportation was greatly different than the way he often traveled. At the mention of Cass leaving Link started to raise his hand in farewell before the word “breakfast” caught his attention. In Zelda’s words, Link was “quite the glutton”, though he wouldn’t necessarily describe himself that way. He did figure though, since he passed off the majority of his previous meal to someone back at headquarters, it was worth a shot.

“Do you mind if I join you?” He blurted out, his posture now somewhat mimicking that of an excited kid. The legendary hero would have jumped back into the portal right then had the man from earlier not answered Link’s question.

Nobukatsu seemed more than eager to talk about himself, and though Link often tried to ignore such types of people he figured he would try not to be too rude. That was mostly saved for people like Botan, who thought Link was a cute girl.

Nonetheless, Link listened attentively to the man’s gloating as he awaited food. The “high and mighty” title seemed to come with the guy’s rank, some kind of magical familiar and the leader of some clan- both of which Link didn’t recognize. At the very least Link was glad that Nobukatsu wasn’t part of the “Yiga” clan, since all they seemed to want to do was kill him.

When the “lord” finished speaking, Link glanced at him thoughtfully. “In my world, servants are a very different thing from lords...” He commented innocently, arching an eyebrow. “I am Link, the personal bodyguard of Princess Zelda.” Though most in his world knew of him as the Hylian Champion, The Legendary Swordsman, or The Hero of Legend, he only really admitted to the role when prompted.

Link was feeling slightly agitated at the conversation now that there was something to be eaten, so instead of asking anything else about the other’s world, he asked, “if we wish to continue, could it perhaps be over a meal?”

"You're welcome to join, and happy to have you!" replies the Mew, reading the young hero's meaning and smiling a bit at his earnestness. "I think now's as good a time as any to depart...though I must say, Nobukatsu, I tend to avoid the use of an honorific to anyone unable to show me they deserve it. I don't challenge your rank, nor your character, but I'll not take to calling everyone by titles simply because they demand it. I could demand a title along with the best of them, based on my role and my gifts, but such names serve little purpose to me. Anyways the measure of an individual is not found in the floweriness of their speech, nor of their attire. Show me your courage when it matters, and then mayhaps you'll earn a title from me -- but by no means before then."

Cassiopeia's eyes are pleasant, but firm. Too many people and Pokemon alike in their world had insisted on being called by a title of some kind -- and it was those who insisted upon it the most that the Mew had learned to trust the least. They found the manner of the nobleman off-putting, and although subtle in verbiage, were by no means inclined to hide their lack of care for what they saw as petty formality.

"At any rate, my work here is done, and I shall be seeing you. Link, please feel free to take the same exit as I -- you'll find it roomy enough for us both. If I see Pikachu and Ruby there, I'll be much obliged as well, but I don't wish to rush you, and I shan't insist upon your attendance, for such is not for me to demand. The same goes to Jak and Daxter, and of course to you, Giffany, though I am not altogether clear that my dietary choices would suit you. Fare well, until our next encounter, however soon."

With that the Mew smiles, waves, and throwing a ball into the air, seems to shape it into a tunnel, into which they shortly disappear.

(with regards to Cocogerber13 Cocogerber13 , P PopcornPie , Elekta Kount Elekta Kount , darkred darkred , and of course to CatJones CatJones , with whom I have no quarrel, despite Cassiopeia's behavior ;) )

Giffany sat in front of Cassiopeia, hypnotized by her swishing tail. Such a beautiful creature, helpful too...but what was this about "dietary choices"? She couldn't see any kind of mouth on the floating pink cat, let alone one that would hack apart meat. Despite the strangeness of the statement, something tickled in the very back of her pixelated mind. She had a friend with unusual dietary habits, didn't she? Whoever that person was, their image had faded, their name just an indecipherable whisper covered up by the breeze that constantly blew through her mind. Even if the memory was so vague, Giffany somehow found it in her to half-joke, "I think I know something about unusual eating habits." She wasn't sure if the pink alien had heard her as she escaped into her own world in a brilliant display of light, but she waved goodbye, just in case.

Now for the matter at hand. Giffany glanced behind her to Scallops, studying the aftermath. The roads were rugged thanks to the herd of little Goomba booties and decorated with spilled produce, windows had gotten smudged and sprayed with dirt, and benches and bushes were flipped over and uprooted. Despite the damages, villagers were already emerging from their hiding places, cheering and waving to the group. Many of the smaller ones came prancing forward to see their heroes closer. "Good work, guys!" Giffany giggled, trying poorly to keep a professional attitude while swarmed by children.

Ruby and Pikachu
"Pika pika-chu..." 'Sounds like Team Rocket to me...' Pikachu said, squinting his eyes as he remembered back to three specific members...
Ruby and Pikachu would watch the exchanges idly from the side...but when Cassiopeia asked if Pikachu would join them, the Pikachu reluctantly shook his head.
"Pika pika pika-chu!" 'That sounds great, but I've got stick with my partner.' Piakchu said, as he looked up at Ruby, before looking back at Cassiopeia. "Pika pika-chu pikachu! pika pika pika pikachu! Pika pikachu!" 'Come find me at Gibraltar when you have the time! We got plenty of yummy treats if your intreasted! We can talk more then!'
Ruby smiled, sighing a little in relief as she watched the civilians interacting with the pink haired girl who kinda resembled a cross between Penny and Nora. It was funny, she once wanted to be a huntress, a hero for the sake of Remnant...now she was a hero, saving the multiverse.
"Looks like we did it...Guess we better head back, little guy..." Ruby said, as her weapon began to automatically holster itself, reverting back into it's carrying form. "...Winston will be wantin' to hear about this!"
"Pika! Pika!"'Sounds good! I'm starving!' Pikachu looked up at Ruby, giving her a cheerful smile, followed by a small growl from his stomach.
"Hey, it's been fun kicking butt with you guys, but we' gotta get going too!" Ruby called over to the group of fighters from before, those whom were now surrounded by people. "But if you want, stop by Gibraltar some time; we've got video games from every universe!" Ruby said to the group, giving a sweet little smile as she did. "...and, we've got tons of cool people too, who also like kicking bad guy butt too."
Giggling, Ruby took out her portler device, turning the switch for Gibraltar, as the device opened up a human sized portal in front of her.
"Alright, time we've reported back." Ruby said, looking at pikachu, who gave her a nod, before turning and waving to the group still remaining. "See ya!"
"Pika pika!" 'Until next time!'
With that, the girl in the red hood and the Pikachu leaped into the portal, disappearing into it's light....

Arthur and Iroh
"Fancy egg..." Arthur mumbled, as he watched someone exit the massive humonid machine. "...didn't know humans came from eggs in this universe."
"I don't think she's from this universe..." Iroh said as the masked women walked up to the two of them.
"Not this again..." Arthur groaned, which promoted Iroh to chuckle.
"My dear, you're in the Ancient Forest..." Iroh said, nodding to the new comer as he did, before looking over to Arthur. "...please, put down the weapon...I don't think these two mean harm..."
"An' what makes you say that?" Arthur said, glancing at Iroh with a raised eyebrow.
"...perhaps they've simply lost they're way from home."
"Wait, you don't mean they're..." Arthur said, the realization suddenly hit him, as he lowered his weapon and glanced between the two women. "...well, I guess that could...So you two tellin' me you really have no idea where ya are?"
Indeed, this new revelation had indeed peaked the interest in Arthur. "...Tell me, what was the last thing you remember before you got here?"

Lyra Clarise and LZ-1156: Unknown Location [Village]; [Interacting with: Elekta Kount Elekta Kount ]
Taking a momentary glance at the woman beside her, she was quick to return her focus to the duo in front of her. The monk said she was within the ancient forest... It was a start, at least. Responding to the cowboy, she didn't even seem fazed as that she had a weapon momentarily drawn on her. "I'm not expecting you three to understand this, but my team and I were onboard a moving starship trying to prevent some bad guys from activating a weapon capable of destroying Time itself. Something must have happened, because it was as if the sky turned off for a moment before I was knocked unconscious with a white flash. My Titan and I just... appeared here." She said, gesturing to the biped towering behind her. She then held her hand out toward the two men. "Pilot Lyra Clarise of the Six-Four's. It's a mercenary group operating under our military, the Frontier Militia." Hopefully she made enough sense to the trio of them, otherwise she just might as well go mad herself.

Ruby and Pikachu
"Hey...where is everyone?" Ruby said, as she looked around. Ruby was standing in-front of the main control center of the base. Usually there were much more activity when she teleport in or out of the base, but things seemed uncharacteristically quite at the moment...
"Pika pika..."'I dunno...' Pikachu squeaked, as he looked around, scratching his head in confusion. "Pika-chu..."'...strange...'
Ruby and Pikachu would waste no time entering the command building. As they both went through the automatic door, Ruby would sigh in relief as she heard a familiar voice.
"Just head towards the next entrance, you should see a console right next to the door..." Winston was his name, a hyper-intelligent gorilla that ran this HQ. Also very scary when angry. "...okay, okay...let me know when you get there...I'll get you the codes for that door...oh! Ruby! Pikachu!"
Winston took off the headset he had been using, as he turned around to face both Ruby and Pikachu.
"Your back!" Winston smiled, as he looked from the girl in the red hood to the pikachu. "How'd the mission go?"
"Oh it went fine, we whooped some major bad guy butts..." Ruby said, pumping her fist up into the air, before placing both hands on her hips, triumphantly. "...they were mushrooms with legs and sharp teeth."
"Oh, sounds fascinating...I wonder what they're genetic makeup is like..." Winston mumbled the last part to himself, as he began formulating a picture in his head.
"By the way, where is everyone?" Ruby said as Winston thought, looking around the command center. Even here it was rather empty, usually there'd be more people in here, planning missions and stuff.
"Oh, some of them are still around here... but most of them are in the field."
"Really, that many people?"
"Mhm, we've been getting a lot of assignments from the MPB as of late...Lapatido seems to be making quite a lot of moves as of late..." Winston nodded, as he looked to the various screen that displayed various on going missions, adjusting his glasses as he did. "...but Davis and Droz are picking some people and bringing 'em back from their missions."
"Those two better be bring them back in one piece."
A sudden voice from behind the party caused all three to turn towards the voice.
"Ms. Rose, Mr.Pikachu..." The voiced belonged to Alfred Pennywortth, a butler no matter the universe he's in. "...You two should really stop skipping breakfast...especially you Ms. Rose, seeing that you are still developing young women."
"Pika-chu Pika..."'That's what I keep telling her...' Pikachu said, as he folded his arms and turned away from Ruby. "...Pika Pika Pika-chu?"'...what can be more important then food?'
"Haha, ya..." Ruby chuckled, a bit embarrassed, as she scratched the back of her head. "But I David and Droz needed me for a mission, I couldn't say no..."
"You could have grabbed somthing for the ride." Alfred was quick to retort, which caused Ruby to rub the back of her head some more. "Oops"
"One of these days, your stomach will overpower on a mission, paralyzing you in such extricating amounts of hunger that the enemies wouldn't have to finish you off..." Alfred said, his tone unchanging. "...is that what you wanted to be remembered for? Getting incapacitated because she didn't eat breakfast..."
"Hmn..." Ruby pouted, as she folded her arms and looked away, trying to look angry.
"In spite of that...I'm sure your hungry after the mission... so I made some of those Japanese "onigiri" you had said you wanted to try for brunch..." Alfred said, as held up and offered Ruby a box that had a furoshiki bundle neatly folded around the box. "...let us call this brunch and learn a lesson....I also baked a fresh batch of cookies...let's call it a reward for performing so well on missions lately."
Ruby couldn't keep up her pout face for too long, as she snatched the bundle out of Alfred's hands, grinning as she did. "Alfred your the best!"
"Pika! Pika!" 'Yay! Food!'
Didn't take long for both Ruby and Pikachu to suddenly disappear into a whiff of rose petals, as they both dashed out of the controll center.
"Hehe, she reminds me so much like Tracer..." Winston chuckled, smiling as he did, but turned to Alfred expectantly.
Alfred just looked at him for a moment, before sighing.
"Yes, Mr.Winston, I have your bananas and peanut butter right here." Alfred said, as he held out a tray with both a container of peanut butter and bushel of bananas.
"Thanks Alfred..." Winston said, as he swiped off both foods in excitement. '...your the best."
"So I'm told..." Alfred responded, putting the tray under his armpits and turned around. "...if you shall need me, I will be in the armory...trying to clean off the dust from some world ending weapon or another..."
Winston couldn't hear Alfred leave, as he was too busy with the peanut butter.
"Hey, monkey man, do you have those codes yet?"
"Oh? Hm? Oh! On it..."
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
"Bon appetite!"
"Pika Pika!" 'Itadakimasu!'
The girl and the pokemon said in unison, as they both took a bit out of their triangular rice meal.
"Mmmm, Alfred's really is the best!" Ruby repeated herself, as she held the side of her cheeks as she continued to chew, happily kicking up her legs as she did.
"Pika-chu" 'He is' Pikachu chirped, as he took another bite out of his onigiri.
The duo was sitting on the edge of a cliff face a bit out of the way of one of the main paths, overlooking the vast blue ocean that seemed to float along. Across to one side was the mainland, to which the Watchpoint overlooked. In-between the two was a stacked box with the top open, revealing onigiri of various flavors lined neatly in a few rows.
"I wonder when the others will get back..." Ruby said to herself, taking another bite out of her onigiri, as she gazed forward at the vast ocean. Her words promptedPikachu to look up, as he was still chewing bites of his onigiri.
"Pika pika pika" 'Don't worry, I'm sure they're be back soon.'
Open for Interaction

After a fairly bittersweet goodbye to the children of Scallops-neither the children or Giffany's soft side permitted her to leave-Giffany decided to reward herself with breakfast. She couldn't cook a microwavable lunch, but as long as peaches existed, she didn't mind at all. Somehow she could never get tired of mashed peaches with banana pieces mixed in. Was it pretty much baby food? Yeah, but it was better than risking her neck trying to make pancakes.

Giffany gently plopped herself down on the couch, her breakfast on a TV table standing a little crooked in front of her, and flipped to her favorite channel. It only made sense that she, who was programmed and published in Japan, would enjoy anime, a little window into the culture she left behind when she found a home in Gravity Falls. Again, she didn't mind at all, because being surrounded by all those streetlights and high-tech screens would probably have overwhelmed her, though being able to explore the MPB's main computer did help her with that anxiety. On the other hand, she wished that Oregon had those lovely cherry trees which threw their petals down on the protagonist and his soon-to-be girlfriend like flower girls practicing for their wedding. And who could blame the slender anime boy for falling so head over heels? The girl's silky, jade green bangs and soft, welcoming emerald eyes captivated Giffany the same way. It even made Giffany feel a little disheartened. Those eyes were not ones that had seen their owner try to atone for her past. Those eyes didn't know regret. And her hair only knew how to dance in time with the breeze. The enviable green reflected in Giffany's heart.

"Maybe..." Giffany rubbed her chin, then stood up, standing confidently in front of the TV. With one hand, she lifted her own bright pink locks, and with the other she snapped her fingers. Instantly her hair faded into an identical green to the one the girl sported. Now Giffany looked the part, but could she feel it? Closing her eyes and spreading her arms, she began to sway her hips, listening to the clip-clop of her new role model awkwardly sprinting down the school halls in the next scene. A light smile graced Giffany's lips. This is what she should've been, an eager, fictional girl alone in a highschool, waiting for someone to purchase her game. If she hadn't gone on that rampage shortly after her "birth", she would still be in Japan, becoming popular the right way, maybe even motivating her creators to continue her franchise. "But would it be the same?" She mulled, the smile disappearing. "Would I really feel happier in virtual hallways, knowing that I'm only there because I was told to by coding?" She opened her eyes again to see other anime characters, chatting and fooling around, with the girl slinking around in the background. "They seem happy, but that's only because they were drawn that way. They're unable to know love, except the love that's put in the script. They can't go outside unless the animators let them outside. Why do I keep thinking that's the life for me?" Her head tipped down, her face solemn as she answered her own question. "Because I'd only feel what the writers tell me to feel. I wouldn't ever have to feel remorse unless it was written that I would."

Cassiopeia smiles as they look over the table they've set. Although they were uncertain as to who would accept their invitation, they had left the portal open for a time and knew, as a result, that Giffany, Ruby, and Pikachu had opted to go elsewhere.

"I imagine we'll have many opportunities in the future. After this I believe I'll return to the main lobby -- I sense I'll be wanted there...but for now, I believe this ought to do nicely."

Indeed, it's a pleasant setup, with a variety of cold treats and warm plates. In alignment with their usual diet, there's a distinct lack of met, but no shortage of berries. The Mew blinks a few times, looking over their shoulder at the entrance to the room.

"I suppose I can wait until someone else arrives. I prefer to share."

For a moment, they can't help but feel a bit lonely, but they dismiss the feeling with a wave. "No good to be found in thinking of that which isn't mine. Besides, there's soon to be company, and I know better than to let my emotions dictate my preparations."

Even so, they look a little sad for a moment. The recent loss of their team rests more heavily on their heart than they'll admit. It wasn't their fault, but though they had succeeded in dispatching the villain, even they lacked the power to undo the damage...at least for now. Eventually they'd have what they needed -- patience, practice...and a good deal of curiosity would get them there.

"I promise I'll find you. By whatever means I can, I'll bring you home."

A flash from the portal catches their attention.

"Greetings! Thanks for joining me -- I hope my preparations are to your taste. Have a seat!"

Link graced the Mew with a rare smile at the welcoming gesture. His eagerness to eat could be perceived as rude at times, and sheepish as he was, the warrior wasn’t planning on missing the invitation.

The clapback he witnessed changed his attitude slightly from mere moments prior. The boy’s eyes were wide when the Pokemon finished, then glanced over to the entity next to him. The statement was bold and Link couldn’t agree more, though that didn’t mean he wanted the “familiar” to be offended. Aside from the obvious idea that the blond didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings the guy was prestigious enough without prompting.

Upon Cassiopeia’s leave, Link nodded an affirmation and watched as they disappeared in a tunnel. He was a bit startled to see the portal staying open in such a matter-less space bit decided not to dwell on it. The Hylian approached and peered in, a few moments later turning to look back at Nobukatsu expectantly. Judging by the other’s character, he would feel welcome to invite himself, and though Link felt a bit guilty nodding towards the teleportation link he assumed the man didn’t see anyone else from his world yet.

Before stepping into the portal, the hero stared back to Giffany. She was friendly and clearly had a way with the villagers, who seemed overjoyed to see her. Link would have liked to see her come along with them. Alas, people had their own things to do and the boy merely raised his hand to wave goodbye. In a blink, he ducked in and entered a small entryway to a cozy home. Sure enough Cassiopeia was there to greet him.

"You have a pleasant smile, Link. I hope you don't mind my rather vegetarian leanings. If you would like, you may make yourself comfortable at any of these seats and begin at your leisure. I make it principle of habit not to begin a shared meal until my guest has taken a bite first."

The Mew floats over to the table and gestures at the various seats with a quick grin and a wink.

"Is there something in particular you'd like to drink? The sky is more or less the limit -- there are few things I cannot obtain for this place. I imagine I'll return to our base of operations, as I didn't find the last exercise all that troublesome. Still, I see from your gait and your gear that you have many an adventure of which you could speak. Without prying, I'd be happy to hear any tales which you might wish to share."

Cassiopeia pauses. Better that they say no more until their guest had an opportunity -- they could be a chatty host, but that was best only when the other was comfortable, and Link, though pleasant, did seem more inclined to action than to conversation. Still -- they'd see for themselves, and at any rate, were glad of the company.

After they were done taking care of the Goombas and thanked by everyone Kagome headed back to the base. When Kagome got there she noticed Giffany watching what looked like an anime and by the look of her face, something seemed to be bothering her. "Hey, Giffany you ok?" Kagome sat on the couch next to her and glanced at the tv. It was strange whenever she looked at anime she kept thinking about the fact how in another world she was an anime character. How weird was that?
