As the end of summer party was winding down, Jon approached Merrill and Lucas and slung some nasty comments only to be shut down so hard that it brought a tear to his eye and he had to go sit down away from them so they couldn't see him. Luisa, a friend of Merrill's and Jon's ?ex?, offered her and Lucas a ride home. Lucas moodily said "No" but Merrill went with her. Also Jon did too after he sucked up his tears and persuaded Luisa to let him ride with them. And so they left but not before stalking Lucas and getting him to come along.
The ride was tense and unpleasant. And Lucas looked out the window at the dark forest like an emo kid. But what he saw was startling. Flashes of a girl appeared between the trees, her body mangled and her clothes in tatters. The girl moved closer and closer to the car in flashes, always partially hidden by some tree or bush until she got right up on the window. At that exact moment, the car jostled and bounced. They had hit something.
For a moment everyone was frozen, too afraid to see what they hit. But curiosity took hold and they investigated. It was a girl! The same girl in Lucas' vision. As they debated over what to do with the body, Jon took the initiative and moved her out of the road, determined to hide the evidence that it was them. As he moved her into the roadside ditch she came to life! Her broken bones cracked and her twisted neck swiveled to face forward.
In Jon's terror he transformed into his werewolf form and began slashing and hitting the dead girl as she clung onto him. Lucas and Merrill began to hit the girl with tree branches while Luisa screamed for them to get into the car. They should've listened because Jon turned on the nearest person. Lucas.
With his werewolf strength, he swung at Lucas, sending him flying into the back bumper of the car. Blood streamed from gashes on his face and his shirt was torn open just from the chest down, revealing his flaming hot abs even though he probably doesn't work out or anything. Jon, seeing this casual and bloody sexiness, is confused and enraged but doesn't maul Lucas further. Merrill makes sure of this by casting one of her handy hexes on him to keep him from harming any living thing. Her shriek of spellcasting echoes through the forest and her eyes begin to bleed but it works, Jon is rendered unable to hurt anyone else as Merrill gets into the car without even helping Lucas.
Luisa assesses the situation for a moment and decides that it might be worth it to not let Lucas get eaten by a werewolf and a zombie. She rushes out and helps him into the back of the car. She tries to back up over Jon The Werewolf but misses and ends up speeding off into the night headed for her house where her dad is a doctor instead of going to the hospital for the boy who is rapidly losing consciousness.
