A conflict broke out between the Outer Sphere League and the Earth Federation. The two sides waged all out war against each other resulting in millions of lives lost on both sides. This war saw the destruction of several major cities on Earth as well as many colonies across the solar system, paving the way for peace treaties to be made after what is considered to be the second largest conflict in human history only behind the even more horrid Colonial War that started the Post Colonial War Era. Within these last years, both sides have made amends uniting together as one underneath the Earth Federation banner, but in exchange for reparations paid for by the Earth Federation, the former Venetian Alliance, Outer Sphere League, and Mars-Jupiter Alliance lost their autonomy and were forced to be under even stricter supervision of the Earth Federation
16 years was enough to rebuild. To Recover. And to return Humanity to its former glory. New Cities were erected. New Colonies were built.
However...
16 years was also enough to let old wounds fester. Enough time for a new hatred for the Federation to settle into the hearts of those who wanted to live peacefully, for those who wanted to live free of a police state, and for those to plot their vengeance for their fallen brothers and sisters. The spark that had started the fire of the First Colonial War and brought about the Second Colonial War continued on into this new era, waiting to be set ablaze once more.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Day Zero Over Two marks the second chapter in the Day Zero series. With the balance of power shifting over to the Earth Federation once more, a new group emerged to take on a the problem of taking a more indirect approach to controlling the populace of the former OSL, VA, and MJA colonies. In order to prevent another war, the Earth Federation contracted out a mercenary group known as Vector Securities to put the Colonies in their place. Ruthless, Brutal, and Extreme, Vector Securities were unbridled by morals and treated the citizens of these colonies like human garbage in order to stamp out any hope of change, reports of police brutality and unfair practices were rampant but ignored, imminently sparking civil unrest and paving the way for a new conflict to emerge.
The Date is June 25, PCW 0116. Today Vector Securities plans on testing out its new Gundam Mobile Suit Model, EF/VS GM-RX-P005, better known as the Gundam Abel, the successor to Gundam Adam.
