Val has always been a bit more reserved and shy then her other sorority sisters. When she first attending Pennbrooke University it was mainly to study abroad and get to know another culture. On the surface, Evren looks like a generally happy, albeit quite, person. That's who he wants to be, in an ideal world - someone who is genuinely happy and at peace with life and all the things in it. But anyone who spends any notable amount of time with him can rather easily pick up on the quiet aura of sadness and frustration that he still fails to hide. After spending most of his teenage years full of anger, sadness and bitterness, he's determined to change the way he sees the world and the people in it. For himself, not for them. He's tired of wasting his energy on other people and things that are ultimately out of his control. Evren always tries to see the best in everyone and everything, though, in practice, that has proven to be a very difficult task indeed.

While he may try to see the best of people, that doesn't mean he's going to ignore and dismiss your flaws and wrongdoings. Though, from the outside, it may seem like he does exactly that - lets things go and moves on. He doesn't. He holds tight to each and every thing anyone has ever done to cross him, refusing to be used or taken advantage of. He has no issue cutting someone off completely should they push him too far, cross him too many times. Many would say it's cold or selfish, and Evren wouldn't argue with that. He doesn't care if people see him that way, because what matters most to him is protecting himself and his feelings, before anyone else's. Evren fully believes that everyone is, first and foremost, responsible for themselves. You can't rely on others to protect and comfort you. That's not to say he's uncaring when it comes to other though, or that he won't protect or comfort someone else. He just won't do it if it at all sacrifices himself.

Evren is very much a hopeless romantic, despite having never been in a "real" relationship before. He loves the idea of being in love, he loves all the small things about it. Perhaps one of the biggest reasons he's yet to have a committed relationship is exactly because of that, because he has expectations that just aren't too realistic in modern society. All he wants is for someone love him and only him, and to continue to do small, sweet things to show they care ... and what ever happened to giving flowers, or showing up at midnight to serenade you with a poem or song? Is that really too much to ask for? Really? He just wants have the "perfect" relationship that makes everyone around him jealous.

While he's normally rather quiet and reserved, he's also known to have a flair for the theatrical at times when he doesn't get his way - particularly when he doesn't get the attention he desires from the people he desires it from. He feels a certain entitlement to the affection of people he deems attractive or interesting, and takes personal offense if they don't feel the same about him. After all, what's not to like about him? On occasion, he's done some rather dramatic things in an attempt to get someone's attention.

Modifications: An avid lover of both piercings and tattoos, he has a few and plans to get more. He has several piercing in both ears, most of which he did himself when he was much younger (he definitely would not recommend at-home piercings. They are not a good idea. Do as he says, not as he does.) He currently has 3 tattoos, the first being a small crescent moon and stars behind his right ear which he got on impulse at 16. The second was done on his 18th birthday, a white cat on the inside of his right wrist. Most recently, he got a much larger piece of several roses and greenery on his left hip, trailing down his outer thigh.

Style: Evren casually switches between two drastically different fashion styles, largely dependent on his current mood. He's been known to change outfits in the middle of the day should his mood shift in a different direction - that being said, you can usually get a general idea of his current mood based on his chosen attire. His first and more common style as of late consists of muted and pastel colors, and soft, comfy clothes such as fluffy sweaters and oversized jackets, sometimes accessorized with flower crowns and dainty jewelry. The second style being a much more edgy, grunge-y style consisting of darker colors, tighter clothes, and much heavier makeup and accessories - very reminiscent of what he wore during his earlier teenage years.

    brown, rarely ever styled; not one to pay much attention to his appearance, his hair is often tousled, sometimes messy -- however, overall, smooth and thick. he tends to keep his hair shorter, manageable--opting for a haircut that requires little to no maintenance. on the oilier side, the man is sure to shower everyday, keeping it fresh and clean.

    marco's eyes are pools of dark brown that reflect little color in the light, most would mistake them for being black. the dark circles under his eyes are indicative of sleepless nights and caffeine addiction; they are somewhat hooded with thick black lashes. his scleras are riddled with a bit of redness, irritation from the lack of sleep and constant studying.

    a light olive color with little to no blemishes, aside from the random scars from his own clumsiness (mainly from accidentally burning himself on his own kitchen appliances). with only a few (5) small tattoos, they are sporadically placed upon his skin, haphazardly, often random with no particular meaning, most being out of impulse.

    marco stands at a 6'0" or 182.88 cm, his height often being pesky; a man who struggles to be seated in areas due to his height, most of it from his long legs.

    marco weighs 180 lbs or 81.64 kg. a man whose diet often consist of sugary and processed foods, his fast metabolism tends to power through it quite quickly.

    lithe, slightly muscular, and athletic. the man has a slight slouch, one he tries to fix by constantly straightening himself out--however, he often reverts to his original posture. by means of nutrition, his health isn't the best, but the man is somehow still alive and kicking.

    marco's voice sounds sluggish and tired, a bit gravelly due to the cigarettes he visits.

    regarding his physical condition, it's a surprise that marco is in good health--or so he claims; the man rarely makes his doctor's visits and indulges in an overload of caffeine, nicotine, and junk food.

To put it harshly, Sam was born to a family that didn't believe in her. She was always loved of course, but never supported. That went to her older siblings who were just the apple of her parent's eye. But here' s the thing. Once you get to child number 4, it's hard to care as much as you do about the older ones. So for the longest time she stayed invisible. Accepted what her parents believed would happen to her. That she would just stay in their tiny town forever, and become either a housewife or a tiny job in the ecosystem. It happened to everyone else in town. But the summer before high school, there was a shift in the ecosystem.

There had been this STEM day camp for free, at the local middle school, and Sam was dropped off there with her younger brother. For her it was love at first sight. She knew then, and there that this was what she could do for life. So the next season when she entered high school, she wasn't just the invisible girl. She was known as the crazy overachiever who got Straight A's and had no social life. Sure it was lonely, but she didn't take chances with her future. No parties, no dating, no nothing. Just studying and coding. She found that in the end it was all worth it to call herself Valedictorian.

Now that she's in college, she's begun making a few changes. For one, she's allowed herself to have more fun. Plus dating's on the table. She's got a long way to go, but she's decided she needs to replace the void that her family left behind, by neglecting to keep in touch with her.
