Layla - A dark sorceress that regrets giving up her abilities for the dark arts. She was manipulated as a child by an older gentleman and leveled a city during her massacre in his name. She has since used the program's counsellor to realize that this gentleman likely saw her as prey for her trusting, gullible nature and succeeded in getting what he wanted. This realization doesn't affect her sentence. She can be sugary sweet at times with moments of dark rage and cruelty. She tries to take out that energy on the missions. She excells in destruction magic and elementalism.

Serena - A young vampire that lost her memories upon being turned. She completely succumbed to her bloodlust upon turning, ravaging cities and bringing too much attention to the supernatural world when she accidentally became a famous serial killer. Since turning, she hasn't had much chance to connect with anyone since and is still seen as the most volatile member of the organization. She's killed three of her working partners and is on her last one before the head of the program decides to destroy her. Usually her missions have a bit of a timer on them- when the blood bags run out, she's either going to eat the person they're meant to execute, or her partner. If she formed a strong connection, it might change her view of others.

Serena's attention pulled from her meal with reluctance. Red dripped from her permanently stained lips while she took pause. Her head tilted, flat, blonde hair cascading down the sides of her face and hiding the way her gaze moved towards the men approaching her cell. They were murmuring, and another girl stood close behind them.

"Why do we have to deal with her?" grumbled one of the men. These two were new. They both held the cattle-prods at their sides, knuckles white and bloodless. She dropped the cooled body from her clawed hands as they approached, pulling a piece of flesh out from between her teeth.

"Don't be babies. You only have to transfer her, then we're both off your hands," spoke the girl behind them, "Besides, I'm here. Do you really think I'd let you die?"

Both men scoffed, "You're probably planning for that."

Serena sniffed the air and scented their anxiety levels rising. A low growl escaped her throat and it racketed up as they got their keys out for her cell. She slunk towards the back of her cell, dragging the meal she'd been granted by the arm.

"Let's... give her a few minutes?"

Layla had been escorted by the guards out of the high-security cells and towards the briefing room. Freaky. She'd never been on a mission with this girl before. She could only imagine what the two boys would be like. Whatever they were up against this time, it was going to be a more difficult take-down.

She settled into the briefing room first, glancing around the room only to see the regularly posted guards. At the front of the room, an old projector lit a white, pull-down backdrop with an eerie picture of a heavily forested area. The blurry details made it difficult to pinpoint the location they were going to. Layla took a tentative step towards the image, eyes drawn to the subject at the center. A lanky figure that seemed torn between walking on all fours or two legs. Claws dragged along the debris of the floor. Something out of focus hung from around its neck. Two, white eyes burned in the image. It was terrifying, to her.

She pulled her long hair over her shoulder, fingers twisting the ends of it nervously as she awaited more company.
