He has had trouble controlling this power which will manifest several times daily, it causes things that he touches (with his hands) to disappear, literally vanish in an instant before your eyes. They either teleport to another location or manifest themselves at a later point in time much to his general dissatisfaction. He has had one experience of accidental self teleportation, transporting himself outside of a house that He was in while in an uncomfortable social situation.
Use of this power in case of teleportation causes physical exhaustion =½ physical distance per actual distance normally travelled. For instance if he teleported across a football field it would feel like he just sprinted to the 50 yard line, [he's just above average physical shape… he'd be really winded]

Trigger: intense emotional stress or fear.
This has triggered only once when Dartanion was 13 when he was almost involved in a motor vehicle accident. He fell off of his bike in the rain in the direct path of an oncoming freight truck. The driver slammed on the breaks but could have sworn that it was to late, when he finally stopped and got out to investigate Dartanion was found passed out completely on the other adjacent sidewalk. He had no injuries except for a bloody nose.
What really happened is that time slowed to an almost standstill and Dartanion was able to move out of the way. The reason he passed out is because while this is in effect the effort it takes to move is multiplied by the fraction the speed is slowed. Ergo ½ speed = 2x effort, ¼ speed = 4x effort and so on.. Also trying to physically move objects in this state is tricky as the same equation of effort applied to weight [excluding himself or things touching him.. Physical contact with skin] ergo ½ speed = 2x weight and so on.

This is the ability he has the most control over, though all things considered it's not much. It causes him to shift the molecular density of himself or can be focused to affect things he touches with his hands. It causes him or the objects he touches to become noncorporeal causing solids or liquids to phase through solid objects like a ghost or alternatively cause paper to be able to cut through steel. This power doesn't take much energy when effecting himself but he has been unable to successfully phase his entire body so far. When trying to phase an object the larger the object the more effort is required, he has been only able to produce the effect with small to medium sized objects so far [1-10lbs]. This power has been troublesome for him as it causes him to trip from partially phasing through the ground losing his footing which happens quite often. He also has a hard time grasping at objects or catching objects in mid air.. (Do not throw car keys to him…. He won't catch them even if he tries.)

The ability to see the full spectrum of light and therefore the entire spectrum of auras, and magical forms. Some mages refer to this as true sight or spirit sight, but Dartanion is different in the fact that he can see trails of auras effectively following them. He believes that these are just psychedelic effects and in the past have produced some emotionally scarring experiences so he tends to try to stay sober.[/spoiler]

Dartanion is without a doubt his own worst enemy. Anything that could go wrong probably will go wrong, Dartanion is clumsy and often times uncoordinated. He is that great guy that will try his hardest to do the right thing, only to have almost all of his plans blow up in his face.
Rational fear
He was raised as a human, he thinks like a human, he dreams like a human, except he's not a fucking human. He knows just as much about the supernatural side of life as you can learn from looking it up online, which is next to nothing. He is much more likely to run in a fight or flight scenario, but will more than willingly fight for the sake of his friends.
Emotional instability
He's been through a lot these past few years, finding out he's not human is only the tip of the iceberg. His adoptive parents have divorced, he's in massive debt from college, and his crappy studio apartment is in his mind more expensive than he ever thought possible. All of this is new to him, he doesn't know who to turn to, and he would be pretty easy prey to those more experienced in emotional manipulation.
Women
We all have our vices and weaknesses, to Dartanion a pretty girl is one of them. He is shy, and kind of awkward at first, and easily infatuated. This emotional stress can unfortunately be a trigger for some of his powers which can lead to some “funny” situations. If someone grew to know and love him they might be surprised at what lengths he would go for them, one might even refer to him as their champion.

Mages, werewolves, vampires, hunters, this whole world is new to him. He's never been in a situation where someone was actively trying to kill him, never had to consider torture for information he has that others might be after. They treated his powers as an illness or disability.. Went to college in new haven.. Powers started to manifest more.. Finally started to do research of his own
