This RP takes place in Tokyo, Japan in modern times.


A mysterious virus called "Lycanthropy" has infected an undefined number of humans all over the world. Nobody knows how people got infected by this virus nor do people know how this virus is transmitted from person to person. We know that this virus is probably not airborne nor waterborne... this virus doesn't come from bites or physical contact either. This virus seems to have "chosen" a small number of the human population to be its "Carriers".



The symptoms of "Lycanthropy" varies from person to person. The unlucky ones are forever cursed with extreme pain, madness and/or physical deformations. The lucky ones are blessed with increased physical abilities and/or psychic powers. Although the symptoms of "Lycanthropy" vary from person to person, all these symptoms have something in common: the changes that occur due to the symptoms occur only at night. This means the "carriers" are able to live normal lives during the day but must deal with their Lycanthropy when the sun goes down.


The world are unprepared for the sudden appearance or the "Carriers". Laws and bills were pushed in order to protect the rights of the innocent men and women infected with the virus... but human hatred and fear soon broke through all attempts to keep the peace. An underground group of assassins calling themselves "Hunters" now lurk within society to enact their own twisted vigilante justice upon anyone they think is infected with the virus. On the opposite side of the spectrum... are the "Nighty Knights": A group of extreme "carriers" that feel like they are the next step to human evolution.

These are turbulent times. Be careful. Always know what time it is.

10. There will be times when the current time of day in the RP changes but you still haven't concluded an interaction with someone during a time period. In this case, feel free to remain in that time until you are ready to move on.
11. Time of day is very important in this RP.
