Quirk:
Backstory:

rosso-winch-ashendgamewatermarked2.jpg
Name: Lucerne Rossowinch
Vigilante Name: Revolution

Appearance: A tall girl with a river of gold flowing downwards to her lower back. Her face displays refined germanic features along with sapphire like blue eyes, however, the most unusual aspect to her is the addition of several grooves and indentations along their body, especially at her normal joints.

Personality: A energetic and passionate girl seemingly constantly in motion as they go from one interest with a great distaste for staying still. The model daughter on the surface, they hold a deep genuine love for their family as well as the few true friends she has managed to acquire. Despite all this, she can be genuinely friendly and kind if overly cheerful with a slightly immature side, a casual demeanour even when dealing with the more serious topics though still can be secretive at times, holding certain cards close to her chest until she is assured the individual can be trusted. Regardless she puts forward confidence and determination to whatever she sets her mind to, capable of showing a frightening level of intelligence and will when needed that contrasts with what is expected given her appearance. Piled on with pressure and expectations, below the surface lays several stresses and insecurities from the weight of such, living up to expectations, not making mistakes, the rigorous training demands, feeling themselves lacking where they should be, knowing that should they fall short it is more than themselves that would be affected and more regardless of the truth of matters. When it comes to her beliefs she shows ferocious conviction, not backing down and can be quite outspoken on controversial matters.

Quirk: RPM, A mutation quirk that makes the user's joints capable of rotating 360 at angles not possible for a typical human. These rotations may occur at high speeds however extensive use may result in a heat build-up in addition to the potential for dizziness, nausea or soreness of her joints.
Skills: Baiquan, Boxing, Engineering, Taekwondo
Equipment: Bolas, Ballbearings, Steel Cable Reel, Custom Foldable Doubled Bladed Hooked Glave, Collapseable Staff, Escrima Sticks, Net, Reinforced Bracers, Graves and boots.

Backstory: Lucerne's life growing up existed on the fringes of the Hero community, a family of an Insurance broker and structural engineer she was no stranger to the aftermath of quirk engagements once the cameras and heroes left the stage. This experience would become all the more intimate with the destruction of her families apartment complex that resulted in the death of her father. Rather than simply be a tragedy, what she took from this however was the numerous quirk bearing individuals who could have helped minimize or prevent the disaster instead standing afraid unable to use their natural abilities, this combined with a long-standing resentment in the need to restrict her quirks usage sent her down the path of vigilantism with more and more events compounding the truth of this world view. This view as shaped further by the biography and worlds of various figures who had objected to the quirk control and regulation laws and set her to forgoing the formal government system in order to become a hero through her own efforts. In her civilian life, she has pursued a career in engineering similar to her mother though far more on the practical and mechanical side, working in a prominent position at the local reclamation yard which allowed her access to the supplies needed for nocturnal activities.

Oogami Rei

Vigilante Name:
Fuuma

Age:
19

Appearance:

Rei stands at 5'7", and doesn't quite exactly cut a statuesque figure. She sports golden eyes, and snow-white hair, and is relatively fair-skinned, to no one's surprise, as she seems to have something against staying under the sun too long, and is often wearing hoodies, both in-costume and out.

Personality:
Rei always seems to be untouchably distant from her peers. Some may chalk this up to some sort of misplaced pride or belief that she's better than everyone else, but the truth is much more simple than that- she's anti-social, and simply dislikes the idea of socialising. However, that isn't to say that she's misanthropic. She is fully capable of hanging around others and mingling amongst crowds of people. She just doesn't want to interact with any of those people directly for any amount of time at all. That having been said, she is capable of speaking, and makes her mind known on some occasions. She speaks freely and without doubt, uncaring of what others may think of her. She just doesn't wish to know others, and the less others know of her, the better. That way, when either of them leave, neither of them will be missed by the other. To that end, she speaks only when and as necessary.

Her sort of pragmatic thinking extends to her ideals. She believes staunchly that discretion is the better part of valor. It is better to retreat and observe than to pursue a vain lead, or so she thinks. She is careful and cautious, and advocates for the 'think before you leap' route, rather than charge in heedless of the dangers. She also understands that she is not a true hero by the world's standards, just a mere shadow of the shining light of society, and she shouldn't be expected to uphold the same standards that they do. She can turn tail and run whenever she wants, and no one will judge her for it. However, this also means that she can be just as unscrupulous as the evil-doers she goes up against, and anything not amounting to direct murder is free game. She has no qualms about using dirty, underhanded tricks and traps to take out evil. A true paragon of all that is good with the world shouldn't be able to do that. Their pathetic, chasing shadow, however, can do what it wants.

Her attitude is borne not out of spite of heroes, but rather, from a level of respect and admiration for those who go beyond. She recognises that she will never be like them, and to that end, she will always be in their shadows. She also understands that each person has their own idea of justice and righteousness, and, sometimes, heroes will never understand her ideals.

Quirk:
Wolf Physiology: A fairly basic Mutant Quirk, giving her the traits of a wolf, but mostly the eyesight, hearing, smell, and reflexes of one. She's gifted with a mishmash of various abilities, but none grant her enough capabilities to outdo those who specialise in the respective fields. Her sight is a perfect 20/20 and can pick up minute amounts of movement. She is also naturally agile and leap considerable distances, but most of her physical capabilities are earned through her own training. That having been said, her other senses are phenomenal, being able to hear sounds from 16 kilometres away in an open field and pick up scents and follow them up to 2.5 kilometres away.

Backstory:
Rei Oogami once had a friend, and both of them were raised on a healthy diet of heroes, their deeds, and the light of society that they embodied. Both of them desired to become the same as those who stood at the peak, and they promised each other that they would both one day achieve that goal. Deep down inside, however, from that day they made their promise, Rei may have already known that she would never become anything. She brushed that doubt aside for the time being, but years later, her worries came to fruition. Only one of them was scouted by prestigious hero academies, and it wasn't Rei Oogami. Despite this, Rei put on her best smile, and let her friend carry their dreams on her own shoulders. Rei told herself it didn't matter- not everyone was lucky enough to be able to climb that ladder in the first place. If she had to blame anyone, she had only her genes to blame, she mused.

Rei and her friend continued to be friends even after the latter's enrolment, but as the months passed, doubts began to cloud Rei's mind. She was deadweight to her friend, and the time she spent with Rei was better off spent training to make sure their united dream came true. Rei made up her mind to distance herself from her friend, slowly drifting away from her, day by day, until she completely faded into the background. From there, she would only cheer her friend on, silently praying for her success. Her efforts, however, ruined her entirely as a person too. She withdrew into her own shell, becoming the lone wolf that she is today. Rei Oogami was no one to the world. To those who knew her, she was just some girl who got average scores in everything, and went on to work as a janitor in a nifty apartment complex. She was invisible, as far as anyone else was concerned.

The lure of being a real hero, however, still proved too great. Even throughout the days alone, Rei continued to train, working to improve her physical condition. Why? For who? She didn't know. She just knew, however, that, if her friend ever remembered her, she would be a disappointment if her friend realised she had not even bothered to work at something in her life. Out of perhaps, amusement, Rei picked up MMA lessons for kicks and fiddled with knives as something of a hobby. She didn't expect to use these for anything in her life. After all, heroes were a thing.

It wasn't until she was out buying a bottle of milk from the nearby convenience store that she found a semblance of a calling. Armed assailants entered the store, holding the cashier and the other customers up. Something sparked a fire inside her heart, and though she attempted to douse it with reassurance that someone else will handle it, it flared up stronger than ever before. This was a time that she could prove herself worthy of something in this world. Where her friend stood in the light, she could stay within the shadows. They could become heroes together, just apart from each other, in completely different worlds. It was now or never.

The criminals were arrested not long after, one of them with a broken nose, and the other with a shard of glass stabbed through his hand and a black eye. Accounts from both witnesses and the criminals spoke of a hooded young lady who grabbed the first criminal and slammed his face into the counter, punched a glass display box, and used the shard to stab the second in his hand before either could move. After disarming both of them, she took a bottle of chocolate milk, tossed a few notes on the counter, and ran out of the store. From there, the sightings of a hooded figure that swept in with a flash of knives and swift punches increased, and she, or at least Fuuma, soon earned the title of vigilante.

Was she happy? Perhaps. If she was, she didn't show it.

Name: Isaac Adler
Vigilante Name: Nimbus
Age: 25

Appearance:
1608507790521.png
Isaac is tall, slim, and fastidious about his appearance. When acting as a vigilante he uses his Quirk to cover himself to keep from being recognized and prevent any DNA evidence from being left behind.
Isaac's mask is a support item that lets him breathe out clouds faster, although it's not on any official records and he only wears it when acting as a vigilante.

Personality:
Isaac's personality revolves mainly around himself, but he's willing to make that about others as well. Even if it's only for a short time he tries to get to know those he's around. Isaac's also an avid consumer of media, from fiction to nonfiction to news and tries to get his friends to share his interests. He's got recommendations for just about anything and will happily share them if asked. He has a short temper when it comes to people who don't know or care how they affect others or sloppiness. From his point of view even if things aren't fair there should at least be a way to rectify errors. Isaac's sense of humor tends towards puns, black comedy, and punchlines that don't end as expected. He has a strong sense of justice and believes in empathy and honesty being what a society should be based on. He hates the current Hero Society, seeing it as promoting glory hounds and encouraging complacency and causing people to overlook systemic issues. He finds Stain's ideology absurd however. Isaac's an avid questioner who'll even ask personal questions if he thinks he can get away with it.

Quirk: Cloud-breathing (Emitter-type): Isaac can exhale solid, opaque clouds that he can manipulate. These clouds can absorb force directed at them and their weight makes them effective blunt weapons. They quickly dissipate if they're separated from the main mass and are weak to anything that normally affects clouds. Doing this burns calories, requiring him to eat to refuel. For some reason a single clipping of Isaac's fingernails work as well as a full meal when it comes to his Quirk, so he can bite his nails for fuel for his abilities in an emergency.

Backstory: Isaac's parents moved to Japan when he was 12 as a result of their jobs moving there but still wanting them as employees. His mother is a civil rights advocate specializing in defending minority rights and his father works in finance. He was mainly raised by his mother and various care-givers, with his free time spent reading and watching TV. He ended up socializing later than most people as a result. Isaac had trouble making friends as a result, but through sheer force of personality (and his viewpoints tending to be interesting at the very least) was able to make up for the deficit and make some real friends in high school. From there He went to college and got a job as a personal assistant at Detnerat, where he was surprised to discover how many other employees shared his views on personal freedom when it came to Quirk use.

Name: Izanagi Eguchi
Vigilante Name: Jack-O'-Lantern
Age: 26
Appearance:

3cd858eade685f0f96adb051585af126.jpg

A taller man with a stocky build, Izanagi Eguchi's most accented attribute would be his grey hair or the visible scar over his right eye. While the hair is all natural and not entirely induced by stress, the scar on his right eye is the result of a villain attack in Eguchi's teenage years. As a vigilante, Izanagi will often fashion on black clothing (seen above) and put on a rather... Unique head attire of a Halloween Jack-o'-Lantern to hide his identity. Unsurprisingly, this is also where his secret identity spawned from.

Personality: If one were to ask those close in Izanagi's life — which would be narrowed down to his family and a few employees under him — they would describe the adult as either moody or loud. Violent, angry, short tempered or even judgmental would not be far behind, but would be describing Izanagi only in his worst moments. The man himself is simply moody. Or Loud. His body language and tone often lean on the side of being perpetually upset, even when the man is totally neutral with the world around him. That's just how he's unconsciously putting himself out there.

There's an inner compunction to do good in Izanagi that he can't quite ignore — despite all his best efforts — which has led him to take to the streets at night. The idea of being capable but not allowed to help his neighbors or even random strangers from dangerous situations chafes the man. His respect for the law is dubious, even if he can admire those who put their life on the line for others, he'll never find it in him to listen to their drivel.

To what few close friends Izanagi has managed to keep from high school, they would describe him as nosy. Despite it not being his business, not even something that could effect him in the least, Izanagi is someone who will obsess over a friend's dilemma whether they want him to or not. The same can be said for tabloid drama and any major hero or villain developments. Television intended to capture petty and sometimes unrealistic drama devours Izanagi's free time each night. On the side of his intelligence, no one would be quick to say Izanagi was... Smart. There's always been a lack of interest in formal education that kept Izanagi from attending any higher learning institutions, but he's not entirely helpless when it comes to applying himself to dire problems. No one should expect Izanagi to be a cultured man however.

Quirk: Will-o'-Wisp (Emitter Type); This quirk is a fire & heat related quirk, allowing Izanagi to manipulate existing sources of fire within a set range of ten meters. Izanagi cannot produce his own flames, but his quirk allows him to alter their temperature if given enough time. Likewise, Izanagi can marginally make objects next to him hotter and ignite them — in the case of something such as a notebook or particularly dry wood — and is a great asset for boiling water or reheating a cold breakfast. Will-o'-Wisp gives Izanagi a higher tolerance to intense temperatures, but fires will burn him just as much as anything else.

Backstory:
Reflecting on his childhood, Izanagi would find nothing out of the ordinary. At least until he reached his teens. His father continues to work for the company Detnerat, specifically in their calls department where irate customers will shamelessly deride the man for the companies errors. His mother has never had steady employment, jumping from one restaurant to another with the fickle nature of the seasons. And Izanagi has always been a bit too cheeky, too quick to spit out a nasty remark, to keep many early childhood friends. In school, he'd rather doodle on his notes than save them for later and in the few instances he'd work up the courage too, leave school early. The only aspect of his early life that Izanagi took any amount of seriousness with would be his baby sister, Rini Eguchi.

Being seven years her senior, Izanagi Eguchi was often handed the tiresome duty of taking care of his sister. Their father picked up extra shifts whenever possible for the forlorn hope that his son would attend a respectable university and his mother was a little better, however she opted to sneak off with her girlfriends for exciting evenings rather than play parent. Never the perfect role model, Izanagi and Rini somehow managed to survive into their teens with an iron bond tying them together. Embarrassingly, whenever Izanagi's friends would ditch him or he'd start a fight with them, it was his baby sister he'd turn to for companionship. From going to movies to eating out at the local diners, the siblings did most things together.

That was why, when a traveling carnival came to town, Izanagi took Rini over there under the loose guise of wanting to show her around. Definitely not because the elder Eguchi desperately wanted to try the rides and was too shy of going alone. It was a poor decision, one that changed the trajectory of both their lives. Several villains had attended the carnival, had been causing trouble, as villains tend to do. Nothing out of the ordinary beyond rude behavior, though somewhere along that fated night an argument broke out between a carney and the villains group. Izanagi later learned it was all because one of the villains was accused of cheating in the toss—a—ring game. A petty reason to cause such devastation.

The villains weren't shy to use their quirks and caused catastrophe on the helpless civilians. Izanagi and Rini tried to escape, but twisting metal rides collapsed around them. Like a grenade went off, the Ferris wheel exploded into hundred of dangerous shards. Izanagi was fortunate enough to make out with only a scar on his face and blood pooling in his eye. Rini's leg was impaled with the sharp remnants of the Ferris wheel and her life in danger. The villains continued to rampage for an additional twenty minutes before the heroes were on the scene, leaving both Eguchi's to do their best to hold on.

After the attack, after a hospital visit, Rini's right leg was deemed fine. There would be no permanent damage to it. But the helpless memory burned into Izanagi's brain. Being unable to do anything, as three people went wild without another's concern in mind. Izanagi assumed everyone there could take the three villains down if they simply stopped running — if he simply was courageous enough to take action. It was at this moment that Izanagi went down the path of becoming a vigilante, slated to eventually take up arms years later.

Once High School was over, Izanagi found himself out of luck. He had no higher aspirations, no future with greater education. The young man took odd jobs and eventually was hired at a Mcdonalds in a rather dubious part of town. Not glamorous at all, Izanagi made the most of it and was promoted to manager after several years. Leaving work for the day, Izanagi saw a suspicious looking fellow stalk a young woman as day swiftly turned to night. Instincts alight, Izanagi stalked the stalker, waiting to pounce if he saw wrong doing. It didn't take too long and the man tried to make off with her purse, though a — perhaps too over zealous — Izanagi was there to stop him. Instead of trying to fight him physically, Izanagi used his quirks to take his immediate attention away from the girl. She was quick to flee and the man had no intention of getting into a drawn out fight over a failed purse snatching.

It wasn't a great moment of catching an evildoer. Nor was it one where he gained a lick of praise. But the sensations that crawled over his skin after stopping the theft pushed Izanagi to repeat this action until he finally accepted the role of a rather inconsistent vigilante. He still had a 9 to 5 job to attend to alongside limited social calls that took priority over anything else.

Sorry for the delay guys.

Quirk: Cloud-breathing (Emitter-type): Isaac can exhale solid, opaque (although he can see through them) clouds that he can manipulate. These clouds can absorb force directed at them and their weight makes them effective blunt weapons.
Can you remove the part about him being able to see through the clouds?

Looks great. Accepted.
