Professional disappointment.
For the students that made it this far, today was an important day. They had made it through grade school, they made it through the robot villian test the day before. However today the real test starts. Today students would enter UA high for the first time. From this point on the next four years of their lives will be dedicated to improving themselves, and their quirks, in hopes of becoming a hero.

Violet Cestria, resident cat girl, was up at the brink of dawn. She was ready to kick ass and play with some yarn, and she's all out of yarn. She dressed in her usual apearal, grey excersise pants, black combat boots, a white shirt, plus her blue hoodie with holes cut into the hood so her feline ears can poke out. In her hands she carried her school supplies, a single pencil and a notebook.

Violet thought back to the day prior, and her performance in the robot massacre test. She had preformed well up until- queue flashback- A metallic arm slammed into her and sent the purple haired girl flying a good distance before skidding to a stop on the pavement. She winced and tried to get up but fell down as a result of the pain. A low growl emanated from her throat as the three bots advanced on her. Violet looked up at the bots with a fiery fury burning in her eyes. She let out a hiss before leaping at the bots, angerly clawing and scratching. She moved faster and more furiously, as the bots were gradually torn to shreds, she even bit one of them to finish it off. She stood on top of the pile of parts panting heavily. She kicked one of the heads away and looked around silently, wondering who just witnessed her act...

Violet shook her head, she knew that wouldn't be seen as particularly 'heroic behavior. Nevermind that, she had made it into the hero course at UA! She smiled to herself. Violet had started in a slum, and now she was attending one of the best schools around. She just hoped her mediocre homeschooling would be enough to pass the other courses that were offered here.

She looked down at the map on her phone before entering the building, and navigated her way towards homeroom... whatever that meant. She opened the door an peered inside. "Guess I'm the first one here... cool." She tossed her stuff across the room, where it landed in the back right corner of the room. Violet followed her belongings and sat down in that desk, leaning back in her chair and resting her boots on the desk with her hands behind her head and a smug grin on her face as she waiting for more people to arrive.

Diana Waldhiem flew confidently down from the air, landing on one knee before dusting herself off. She then walked into the classroom. Seeing a student in front of her, she waved hello, "Hey you're that cat girl right? I guess we both made it."

The robot test was quite brutal, the metal the robots were made out of were certainly not able to be easily melted. She constantly piggybacked off of other people, helping carry nonflying heros to get a shot in from above. Truth be told, she only defeated one robot by herself but it was certainly a rough battle. She got slammed out of the air multiple times.

Diana was really confused how she even got in, certainly there were better heroes than her who didn't get accepted. Either way, she was grateful

"My name's Diana, what's yours?"

Hisato yawned lazily as the many bodies of the UA applicants nervously prepared themselves for the test. The tension in the air increased as the announcer began the countdown.. 3..2..1.. the doors slid open and a smile slid onto Hisato's face. This test was going to be a breeze for him, after all he was fighting robots. Robots! All he had to do was poke them and BAM they are down for the count. At least the sheer amount of people made it harder to do. Oh well that was still fine.

The moment the doors were open Hisato was off, Transferring energy from six batteries to his own body he switched some of his stored energy into kinetic and mechanical granting him increased running speed. Racing forwards Hisato split off to the left and into some alleyways to come out onto a street where two robots were. The two robots charged towards him but Hisato did not hesitate. Instead Hisato rushed straight forwards right through the middle, scraping his fingers on both robots at the same time he transferred the electrical energy of the robot on his right to the one on his left effectively leaving one robot non functioning due to a dead battery and the other would short circuit due to the sheer amount of electricity flowing through it. Two robots down and more to go. Continuing on his way he encountered three more robots, one which he used to refill his own energy, another which he used to refill his battery, and the third one which he melted the inside of it.

With five robots down Hisato was feeling rather comfortable with his score so he decided to take a nice stroll. On his stroll he came across two struggling applicants who together managed to take down a robot. They looked exhausted so Hisato trotted over to them. patted them on the shoulder, and transferred some of his potential energy over to them giving them a little recharge. The exchange left the two applicants more energized but left Hisato tired and feeling uncomfortable. 15 transfers was quite a bit to do in such a short time but it wasn't anything he couldn't handle. On and all he decided to stick to a support role for the rest of the test doing four more transfers of energy between applicants to keep people on their feet. By the end of the test he was pretty tired and ready for a nap. The batteries he carried were empty as well so he could't use those to recharge his own energy either. At least he was pretty sure he would get in.
.........

Hisato woke up to the buzzing of his alarm. He sat up and looked over at the crooked calendar hanging on the wall next to his bed. Today was the day he started school at U.A. getting out of his bed he stepped on to carpet. That was weird he never stepped on carpet, normally it was a blanket or clothes that he walked on. Looking around his room the memory of his parents cleaning his rom as a congratulation gift came to mind. Really they just wanted it clean and they knew he wasn't going to do it and arguing was pointless.

With his room not being a complete mess he walked back and forth on his carpet for a moment enjoying the unfamiliar feeling in his room. Once he was done he got dressed in his normal plad pants, white shirt, and tan sweater vest that went over his shirt. He grabbed his bag that was already packed, well he didn't really pack it he just shoved everything in it that he thought he needed. He went down stairs and ate breakfast, listening to his parents talk about how proud they were and that they couldn't wait for their little boy to become a hero. After he was done eating he gave his parents a hug and set off for school.

The walk to U.A. wasn't a long one. It was about 30 minutes from the mechanic shop that his family owned and lived above. Though his face didn't show it he was excited to be starting school at U.A. every step he took was takeing him a step towards his dream school and his dream itself. Today he was going to become a hero in trainning. He saw many students with many different types of quirks on his walk to the school and many of them looked really cool. One in paticular he saw as he was walking into the courtyard of the school was a girl with flamming wings. Come to think of it Hisato kinda remembered seeing her at the robot test. The wings must give off a lot of heat and if he was lucky he would end up in the same class as her. The combination of his quirk and hers were plentiful.

Following the students into the building he made his way to room 1-A and opened the door. Stepping inside he saw the flaming wings lady and another girl. The flaming wing lady seemed to be talking to the other girl with cat ears on her head. Was she just wearing cat ears or actually had cat ears? He couldn't tell from this distance. Not wanting to interrupt the two he simply waved at the two and sat down at the seat closest to the door. He wasn't sure if either of them saw his wave to do the fact that the flaming wing lady had her back to him but at least he made an attempt. Now that he was sitting down he dumped out the contents of his back pack onto the desk and grabbed what he thought he needed, scooping the rest back into the bag in a disorganized mess.

She was used to waking up early. Yokosuka woke everyone up at 5 AM on the dot; many families chose to go back to sleep while the soldiers went to work, and some had learned to sleep through the alarm entirely. Elizabeth had no problem being up that early. Her quirk made her restless by nature, after all, and on this particular morning she had even more reason to be excited.

It was all so nerve wracking. She'd never gone to school off base before. She was still getting used to the language and she was sure her accent was not very good yet. Still, she was determined to not just do well, but be exceptional. Or at least try.

Her hand came up to her necklace as she approached her classroom. She'd placed on the lower end of the list in the entrance exam, just barely getting accepted because of her near perfect written exam. She imagined it would have been higher if she had really used her quirk...

She shook her head. Elizabeth didn't need to. And if she did, she didn't deserve to be there. What kind of hero fought monsters by turning themselves into one?

Elizabeth opened the door to the class. She was the fourth person there. One had wings--impressive--and was talking to someone that looked like a cat. Her nose twitched and she had to treat her gaze away, fighting the urge to bark. That was not going to be her first impression on the class. She kept her head down, finding a freak in the front row and depositing her books. Taking a deep breath, she stared expectantly at the blackboard.

Slowly getting dressed for the day, Alec yawned. As he went through his morning routine, he kept imagining different ways he could have acted in the exam. Ways that wouldn't have needed him to get so high into the air. --Flashback-- Checking his watch he grimaced at the points he had; it wasn't a lot. Up until now, he'd been too busy trying to stay out of harm's way and imagine tactics to take a robot down with his quirk. With so little time on the clock though, he hesitantly took his fastest way of defeating a robot. The sky. Running forward, Alec pressed his hand on a robot and looked towards the blue sky. Within a blink of the eye, they were both up there and were falling. Alec had never carried something so heavy with him in a teleport before though, so he was holding back vomit as he barely made the saving teleport back to the ground.

Walking to school, he nervously scratched the back of his head with the memory of how the ground looked while he had been falling. He hated heights but it seemed to be the best option he had at the time. That is, if he really wanted to get enough points to be accepted. Shaking away the fear of falling from the exam, he shifted his thoughts to something better. "It was worth it... I actually got in." Whispering to himself, he followed the directions he'd been given and arrived at the designated classroom. A few other students were already there so he gave them all a friendly wave as he entered. If they wanted to start conversation, that was up to them but he was generally okay with some quiet time to himself.

Sitting on the edge of the roof, Lily let her legs dangle off. Repeatedly, she thought of kicking off the edge and letting herself fall to her death. All of the suffering in her life that had gathered and remained bottled up seemed to hover around her like a dark aura and always clouded her thoughts. It'd been a whole week since her last contract and she was finding it difficult to acquire a new one that wasn't terribly dangerous. While she was indeed a villain, she had always been taught to make sure she never got caught before all else, so she was generally hesitant to contracts that could attract way too much attention. Looking away from the streets below and up towards her partner, she showed the slightest glimpse of a smile. He was the only giddy person that she could stand to look at. "I don't know how you can stand breathing... Life is so pointless and dull. If we don't pick up a new contract soon I think I'll actually do it." Hopping to her feet, she wavered for a moment and wished that she had fallen. Stepping away from the edge, she crossed her arms and looked over at her partner again.

Otto, still wearing his T-shirt and sweatpants, stared wearily at the freshly iced cake his foster parents had prepared for him. The treat was made up of red, white, and blue icing, with the words "Our Pro Hero" in overside black icing. Otto repeated the phrase back in a mocking tone. To him, this was just another chance for someone to patronize his every accomplishment. Here's a cake for finally doing something with your worthless life! He read the phrase over and over again in silence until he was sick and tired of looking at it. While his mother and father, who was in the front room pretending he wasn't watching in anticipation, waited for a response, the boy gathered some of the black icings on the tip of his middle finger to taste. His father, tired of the whole fiasco, stood and began to cross the room but was cut by the boy's mother - a stout woman with round features and brown, pleading eyes - with a practiced sidestep.

"We're both so proud of you, Otto," the woman said, speaking up for the both of them. The momentary distraction Otto suffered upon seeing the woman's softened features allowed her to continue without the threat or a snarky retort. "Ever since we came upon you, we were behind you 100%. No matter what it was, we supported you, and now..." The woman's brown eyes began to tear up, but Otto remained stone-hearted, scoffing at her remarks. He grits his teeth in frustration, not knowing any other way to respond to her. She saw his test results as an accomplishment worthy of celebration but he couldn't see it in the same way. It didn't sit well with him for a reason that was unknown to him. "I'm so happy that you got into the school of your dreams!" Her words caught Otto off guard almost as much as her sudden hug did, although he relented and embraced her as well. "I didn't tell you to make me a cake." The boy paused, mulling over his comment for a moment before sighing out, "thanks."

He peeled himself away from the woman, knowing that if he spent any more time in her arms she would never have the heart to let go. The rest of the morning was rather normal: although the cake didn't get finished, he ate a large portion of it. She had grown through the trouble of making a spicy icing for him alone, and that was easier said than done. He had breakfast, took his medication, took a shower, got dressed in his brand new uniform, and then set out to the bus stop. The commute there was equally uneventful, and so he took the time to doze and get some rest.

Otto skated around a sentry bot on a wave of orange blood as it swung a large, clunky arm at him. His Quirk did everything for him. It was then that he began to realize how lucky he was having a Quirk as versatile as Bloodworks was: while others were focused on one aspect of combat, Otto would be offensive, defensive, and mobile all at the same time. Or so he hoped in the future. How cool would it be to hit fast, hit hard, and shrug off blows that could topple buildings? The sentry spun its torso around to catch Otto from the back, but the boy managed to throw himself into the air with the wave before it struck, breaking off the blood wave into a portion that moved to engulf and immobilize the sentry and another that aimed to catch him. The maneuver was a success; the sentry was quite literally disarmed by the boy's separate blood wave, which returned to his main wave the moment the deed was done. Another point! At this rate, turning him down would be as far back in the minds of the judges as possible. He had this in the bag! The boy swam past several other struggling contestants with a smug grin. There went the competition...

Back on the bus, Otto was awakened by the sound of a horn and the nudging of another passenger. "Hey, that's a UA uniform, right? This is your stop." The boy groaned and forcibly shrugged them off, standing to his feet to get off the bus. "Don't fucking touch me." Here it was, UA High School. Otto didn't take much time to gawk at the school from the outside. He would waste all his time just trying to cover a fraction of the school. Best to let the teacher's lessons serve as pseudo tours, or explore it on his off time. Finding his classroom alone proved to be difficult, but he managed to arrive not too long after Alec. He realized he was breathing heavily when he entered the classroom and checked the watch on his wrist, one specifically made to read his heartbeat. It was elevated, but not yet a danger. Maybe he should sit down and rest... He picked a seat near the front of the class and relaxed, attentively watching the display on his wristwatch.

Jacque sat on the edge of the roof on the right side of Lily, a large smile on his face as he happily ate at the jelly filled doughnut he had in his right hand. He made sure to keep his left hand free so that if lily decided to fall he could catch her. He figured the odds of her trying to off her self was a good 50/50 where ever they went so he was always prepared to stop her when she did decide to make another attempt on her own life. Many would say that she needed help and that something was wrong with her, others said that he should just let her do it and get it over with but Jacque had his own opinion. Her constant attempts on her own life kept him on guard, kept his blood running, and his heart beating rapidly. It was part of the reason he had fallen for her. There was never a moment he ever felt bored around her.

As he finished his breakfast he licked his lips and caught Lily looking at him with a very small and feint smile. This caused his own smile to widen and he hopped up onto his feet alongside his partner, prepared to drag her up into an embrace if she went tumbling towards the street. However she didn't going tumbling so no bear hugging yet. "Now now my dear, I'm sure something will come up soon besides death is so boring, and while I still draw breath so will you." He moved his hand forward to poke her in the forehead " breathing is much better. After all you can't eat when you're dead, you can't kill when you're dead, and you can't have fun when you're dead." He moved over to her left side and put his arm out behind her as a buffer. "Come along my dear let us wander and see what joys the day brings us."

"Hey, you're that cat girl, right? I guess we both made it."
who the fu- Violet's ears twitched in an annoyed fashion and she looked up to see the person who just addressed her. She narrowed her eyes and rubbed her chin with one hand before using it to gesture at the flaming wings on her back. "Hey uhhhh... isn't that like a major fire hazard?" Violet was seriously wondering how the heck she could even stand in a crowd without burning people. Her eyes wandered to the other students entering the room. For the most part, they all looked normal, it would seem like Violet and this Diana girl were the only ones with Mutant type quirks, so the others are either Emitters or Transformation Quirks. Violet's tail was idly swaying back and forth through the gap in her chair, stopping only for a moment as she planted her seat back down on all fours, with a loud thunk was heard across the classroom. Violet crossed her legs as she leaned onto the desk holding up her head with a hand. "What was your question again?" She asked the girl before her, and as soon as she opened her mouth to respond; "Right! Name. It's Violet."

Diana sighed. She'd heard that expression all to many times. "Just don't extinguish me and we won't have problems." Diana added with a smile. "Also, if anything this would be a fire hazard." she said before she twirled her finger. As she did so, the flame on her right wing leaped forward, circling around in front of Violet and Diana surrounding them for a moment before returning into Diana's left wing. She then shivvered for a moment. "Man, are all the classrooms going to be this cold?" She asked before surrounding herself with her wings. When she did so, the flame from her left wing seeped into the extinguished right wing causing the flames to equalise once more. Diana kept her wings closed around herself to warm up before continuing. "Anyway, that's pretty much the extent of my power besides flying. I want to be a hero, not just a one trick pony." Diana added. "But right now it seems all I'm good for is being showy." Duke of Doge Duke of Doge

Finally having found everything he needed and having put everything else away Hisato laid his head down on his desk to try and take a quick nap. With his eyes closed he couldn't help but absent mindlessly eavesdrop on the conversation behind him. One of the girls introduce themselves as Violet and then the two said something about fire hazard. At that moment he felt a small shift in the temperature of the room. Fearing that she had set a desk or something on fire his eyes shot open as he sat up and turned to look at the Flaming wing girl who was doing a fire trick in front of the cat ear girl. Boy did that look unsafe but it also looked pretty cool. "Um miss flaming angel I don't think it's such a good idea to be playing with fire inside of the classroom." said Hisato as he gave his two cents with his usual monotone despite the fact he was worried that a desk was about to go up in flames.

Glancing back from his front-of-the-classroom seat, Alec curiously watched the different interactions. To other people, he probably looked like he was judging them all. Within the confines of his mind though, he was mentally making notes for any future interactions with any of the students he saw. Cat-girl seemed a little more guarded and distrustful than some of the others, Fire-angel seemed to be pretty outgoing and relatively confident, and so on. From there, he started thinking of a scenario that could happen if Fire-angel really did accidentally set something on fire. As his mind drifted from thought to thought, Alec began wondering if he was going to be able to stand out among his classmates at all.

Noticing his protective measures and hearing his words, she loudly sighed and let her arms fall loose by each side. She shut her eyes and slowly nodded. "You're not exactly wrong I guess. Let's just find a contract that's low-key..." Her shuffling movements brought her to the door to the staircase that led to the ground floor of the building. Lily began making her way to a secret hideout that she was almost raised in ever since she prompted her father to kill himself. There was no other job or lifestyle she'd really ever known. Yet, she was grateful that this was her life. It totally sucked, but she was sure she wouldn't be able to stand being a good person. And besides, if she had a normal life then she wouldn't have Jacque to keep her remotely happy.

Otto let out a semi-relieved sigh as his heartbeat settled to a normal pace after several alarming spikes. Maybe he needed to exercise more often... His heart was weak as is, he didn't need it atrophying. The boy leaned back in his seat, making the most of the moment to relax despite the ongoing conversations around him. People were loud when they talked, and that was to be expected in a classroom setting, but he didn't give two fucks about how Jenny spent her summer break or how she totally wrecked one of those faux villains during the test. The boy turned in his seat, scanning the rest of the classroom when he spotted Alec and noticed the sideways glance he was giving him. The look made his skin tingle, and not in a good way. He felt like he was being magnified and scrutinized by a complete stranger, mostly because he was. Otto stood to his feet and crossed the room, slamming a closed fist on Alec's to get his attention. "I noticed you were looking at me," the boy said with a less than pleased smile. "Would you kindly tell me what the fuck made me so interesting before I have to smash your teeth in?"

"what do you- gah fucking hell!" Violet exclaimed as she lept out of her seat, within a fraction of a second she was on top of her desk in a three-point stance, her tail raised up straight. She was ready to jump across the room to escape the oncoming inferno. The fire was then under control and Diana complained about the room being cold. Violet let out a deep breath as she got off the desk. She smiled happily, put her hand firmly on Diana's shoulder. "Don't ever do that again." Her voice was also chipper, however, the claws ever so lightly pressing into Diana's shoulder said something different. "Thank you." She sat down on her desk, crossing her arms. Her tail was thumping against the side of her desk, and her ears were constantly rotating to pick up on any noises in the room.

Calmly looking up at the angsty kid looming over him, Alec kept himself calm. This boy was so loud... if he had an issue he could've just talked it out normally or asked him to stop staring. Quieting his inner voice, he responded as composed as he could. "Calm down man... I was just checking out all the people I'll be spending the next couple years with. Can you really fault me for being the least bit curious?" Alec remained seated and gave the other boy a small friendly smile, hoping that he would angrily grunt and just return back to his seat. In his head, he was definitely preparing to teleport to the other side of the classroom if this guy made a move.

Diana winced a bit as the claws dug into her shoulder. More at the cold temperature of the claws than the way they were digging into her skin. "I'm... I'm sorry. I guess I overdid it there huh." Diana sighed. "But was it at least somewhat warm?" Diana inquired with a smile. Suddenly, she heard the slamming on the fist, and saw one kid seemingly ready to bully another. "Ugh. You'd think anger management would be one of the requirements to get in to this school" she whispers to Violet. Upon closer inspection, Diana thought Violet might be cold. After putting her hand to her chin for a moment in thought, she brushes back on her wings until she found a loose feather. Diana cringed slightly as she pulled off one of her smaller and loosely attached feathers before giving it to Violet. What's interesting about this feather is although it was not alight with flame, it was still warm, and the feather's properties would cause it to maintain its own heat for a while. "Here, maybe this will help keep you warm" Diana said as she offered the feather to Violet. Duke of Doge Duke of Doge

Elizabeth turned in her desk, brow furrowing. She didn't want to eavesdrop, but it was hard when her ears were so sensitive. The cat girl looked agitated; something was happening involving fire, which the wolf in her didn't like at all. She shrank back a little when she saw it. Someone else was being threatened. That made her bristle a bit. She wasn't going to have a fight break out the first day.

In fact...

She got up. Walking over to the boy's desk, Elizabeth looked at both him and Otto.

"Hey," she said. Elizabeth raised her shoulders a little; she wasn't used to smiling, but she managed. Mostly she just wanted to try and defuse the situation for everyone's sakes. "You guys excited for the first day?"

Otto would indeed grunt, and he wasn't that far from leaving either. This stranger was calm, almost frustratingly so, and appeared smug to boot. A combo like that, combined with that disarming smile, made Otto really want to smash his teeth. He wasn't all hot air - all he really wanted when he came over here was confirmation that he was wrong to think he was being looked down on, or a reason to actually shove his boot down this kids throat. Now he was getting the former but seeing the latter. His other hand balled itself into a fist, and tightly at that. The boy felt untrimmed fingernails dig into his bare flesh and a sensation of fear he was all too familiar with. A child-like voice spoke up in the back of his mind, but he forced it back into his inner recesses. He didn't need any of that bullshit now. He needed strength. The sarcastic smile he had shown was now gone, replaced by a stone exterior. "I don't like the way you were looking at me. So-" The boy sucked his teeth upon noticing Elizabeth's approach. A peacekeeper, or just someone who didn't know how to read the room. Not that he had much room to talk.

The boy turned to her and leaned off of Alec's desk, eying her up. "I'm not. I'm not too keen on talking to you, either, and I'd rather finish up my A-B conversation with this guy here, if you catch my drift."

Hisato was glad that Fire angel apologized and that nothing else tense seemed like it was going to happen. However the same couldn't be said about two others, one of which seemed to be very upset. Apparently he was given some sort of odd look and the boy. Hisato questioned whether or not he should intervene but determined unless it turned violent he would waste to much energy at this point in time. Luckily the other girl in the room seemed to have enough of it and approached the two boys. In Hisato's opinion her smile seemed sort of forced and looked like it was taking a lot of effort to maintain. He made a good call not going over to intervene. Simply watching would suffice for now. Of course with all this racket going on it would be the perfect cover to take a nap with. The teacher would be so focused on dealing with the situation that they would't notice his nap right away.

Having come up with his plan he laid his head down again, closed his eyes, and returned to his half asleep half listening to everything going around state of being. This was a good plan.

As the two went down the staircase and even once they out onto the street Jacque made sure to keep her within arms reach, even if it meant dragging her with him to different things he wanted to see. At the moment he had no desire to return to the hideout, in fact he much rather stroll around the city enjoying the day and that is exactly what he planned on doing until Lily yelled at him that they needed to go back to the hideout. He would stop in and look at any shops they passed just to see what they had (memorize the location of the building encase he wanted to steal anything later) pop into any bakeries they passed to buy something to eat, and studied everyone he passed very thoroughly. He saw many teenagers, many more than what were usually out and about this hour and it struck him as odd. Well that was until he remembered what day it was. "Come to think of it today is the first day of school for a lot of the schools around here isn't it?"

"That's fair, I can try not to look at you too much if it makes you uncomfortable. Apologies for-" Turning his head, he saw a rather chipper girl open a conversation. A conversation, mind you, that the angsty boy was trying to forcibly close off and get rid of. Watching the angry interaction, Alec let out a bit of a nervous laugh. "Hey don't get all pissed at her now, she's just trying to be friendly." He had a shred of a feeling he might get punched soon and he wasn't entirely sure how to diffuse the situation and get the other kid to go back to his seat.

Following her partner around, she was generally far too lazy to fight him off and convince him to head to the hideout with her. She longingly watched each car that passed them and went along with him for quite a while without really yelling at him (only occasionally). He wasn't the only person to notice how many kids and teenagers were milling out and about though. "Yeah, I guess so. That means more kids using quick and lonely shortcuts. We might be able to get ourselves a decent contract for once... And on that note, is there any chance we can get the hell to the hideout? I know we can always steal whatever we want, but if I want a roof over my head I've gotta do some damn work." Crossing her arms spitefully, she looked away as she blew up. It was always much easier to yell at him if she didn't look at that stupid smile of his.

"Ugh. You'd think anger management would be one of the requirements to get in to this school"
if that was true I wouldn't have gotten in, hah.
Violet perked up and she stared a while at the feather being handed to her. "uhm... thank you." She blinked, unsure what to think. It's warm. She gently rubbed the edge of the feather before slipping it into her hoodie, warming up her core. She seemed to curl up somewhat with a smile. Then, the cat-girl laid her head down on her desk, using her arms as a pillow. An ever so soft purr was coming out of her as she...

Took a cat nap.

As expected Lily finally had enough of his wandering and wanted to go back to the hideout. His smile switched into an over exaggerated frown as he faked his feelings being hurt. "The lady as yelled at me and won't even look at me, I am truly wounded deep with in my hearts of hearts." he stated in his best sad voice. Ending his act he let his smile return started off in the direction of the hideout. On his way to the hideout he did his best to ignore the urge to go into every shop and store they passed, it wasn't easy to do. Especially on such a beautiful morning like this one. Oh well hunting season was beginning so his life should get a little more entertaining. If things worked out well they should be able to get a good profit. The last few years haven't been the most profitable, ever since they screwed up the capture of one little girl five years ago contracts seemed to be fewer and harder to accomplish. Oh well they just had to see what popped up this year.

So today was the day and even the usually stoic Akari couldn't hide her excitement for. Finally, she had reached the starting point of her dream, finally, she was following in her father's footsteps it had taken a while for her to get to this point years upon years of torturous training but it was all worth it. She had finally made it to her destined place she had done it she had secured her place in a hero school but not just any hero school oh no but the best in the country U.A and she did it the right way. Akari had the chance to get into U.A via recommendation but despite it would have guaranteed her spot she turned it down originally making U.A believe she wasn't interested but instead, she went through the actual test and passed with flying colors coming fifth in her group....which she was ashamed at since she never even thought about another scoring which caused her to drop a few ranks at the end score.

Akari was glad she was always an early riser waking up a good few hours before school started. The first thing on her agenda making two breakfasts, something she always did one for her morning work out and one for after for a girl her size she could sure eat a huge amount giving professional competitive eaters a run for their money but there was a key reason for this her Quirk. The strongest aspect of her quirk and it's only offense was to manipulate her blood pressure this however required tons of energy and nutrients to use it successfully so Akari found the best way to do this was to load herself on as much food as possible for the day. Making her breakfast both containing enough food to feed a family of five she scoffed one down, at least if being a hero doesn't work out she could always go into competitive eating.

She started her training by shadow boxing, her fighting style a mix between boxing for it's punching techniques and Pencat silat for it's kicking and takedowns together made for a very deadly combo one her father taught her. For the next two hours, she spent mostly shadow boxing before moving onto a punching bag mixing in her quirk, the pure amount of punching bags she's been through have put a hole in her pocket. She wanted to get her techniques fully locked in her mind just in case today held any surprises, after training she got a shower, got ready and ate the second lot of breakfast she made. Looking at the time a small smile covered her face...it was time. She quickly left her house and set off walking towards U.A she didn't live that far away and it was in walking distance as she did her mind wondered back to the test the day prior.

---Flash Back---
In Akari's eyes, the test was perfect for her, destroy as many robots as possible. From a young age Akari had been trained in the art of combat sure not against robots but trained none the less fighting was something she was damn good at with both physical strength and skill she was sure this would be a cakewalk and she didn't have to worry about using up too much blood. Thanks to her quirk she was legally allowed access to a blood transfusion kit to store blood in case of an emergency like the first time and she had been smart enough to fill up two bags before the test and keep them on her person just in case, best of all she had a medical note about it to make it all legal. This small factor meant she could go all out without risking too much, other than a little of her lifespan.

As the countdown began and everyone got ready to start many people seemed quite nervous shifting about and waiting but Akari was not one of those people, instead she was stood blank-faced staring at the gate almost like she was staring a hole through it. As the countdown reached 2 she got down like a sprinter and once the gate opened she set off. She was quite lucky nearly every place she went was a robot. The first one was the most difficult not knowing its durability she tested it, throwing a punch did little to its armor which made her smile. She lives by a small rule something that doesn't come up often, she knew her legs were much stronger than her fists and as such that small rule was 'Never kick against the weak' but this wasn't human nor was it weak. Throwing a kick it put a dent into it but didn't take it down, it took a total of four kicks to go down and that wasted too much time..."So the fun begins." was the thought that ran through her mind.

The next one she ran into went down easily, as did the one after that and the next one. What she changed was simple...she was now using her quirk's offense blood pressure manipulation, using it only when she was in sight of a target and deactivating it once the target was down. This continued for most of the remaining time as it finally ended Akari was extremely tired and in pain which she hid through gritted teeth and her usual stoic expression. Looking at her score she was shocked, she calculated that she should have come second the person in first was eliminating them to fast for her to catch him but the rest she should have been ahead of...but she was fifth. The gritting of her teeth intensified as it was now out of both pain and anger.
---Flask Back End---

By the time Akari even noticed where she was she had arrived at U.A. and was even outside her classroom which meant two things. Number one she got lost in her mind again, and second that she was finally getting used to using her subconscious brain to keep her blood moving or perhaps it's because she was thinking about when she used her quirk...she wasn't really sure. Opening the door Akari stepped in and just stood in the doorway looking at her classmates.

A few caught her crimson red glare. The first annoyed her, a mutant type quirk user than looked like a cat was...sleeping which put an instant cross against her in her mind, she was too lazy.
The next person the girl next to her who seemed to be warming the cat up with angel wings made of fire, Akari wasn't really sure but she wasn't doing anything to try and wake the cat up which make Akari put a cross against her as well in her mental notebook. The next on Akari's spectate list was a male who also...seemed to be sleeping or at least had his head down like he was sleeping anyhow this seemed to be a running theme and Akari didn't find it funny one bit.

As Akari's eyes fell to the next set of people it was a group of three that seemed like they were about to fight or at least two of them did. The thought crossed Akari's mind that she might have been placed in a delinquent class and it didn't sit well for her. "To band a group of enemies one must have a common enemy." Akari muttered to herself before agreeing to the plan that just popped into her head. Walking over to the group of three she began eyeing up the three. "Are you lot even serious about becoming heroes today your first day and your already bickering with each other." Akari spoke her voice firm and serious, she took a breath then continued. "Seriously it's pathetic, If you're going to pick a fight with each other go back to playing your little hero and villain games that you played in middle school and leave the rest of us to become heroes don't drag us down with you...I dare you three to change my mind and prove to me that you want to be heroes and not just to pretend to be them." and with that Akari finally stopped talking and quickly made her way to a free seat located near the front and sat down. If her plan worked she would become the source of the group's anger rather than each other, if not then she would have just made three enemies without meaning to.

(Hopefully, it's not terrible it's currently six am so I'm kinda tired and shouldn't have really made a post.)

As Hisato was resting his head down on his desk he heard the door open. Being close to the door he could hear the voice of a woman mutter something about a common enemy. Things were going to get interesting. He waited for a moment for the girl to pass him before he shifted his head so he could view what was going to happen and he opened one eye. The girl stormed over to them and began mocking them, even issuing them a challenge. The whole thing seemed like a massive waste of effort on her part as the situation was going to diffuse itself, still... the attempt was admirable.

Silently he watched as she took a seat in the front row and it wasn't to far from him. Keeping his head on the table and with his right eye remaining closed he spoke with a voice just loud enough for the only the girl to hear him unless other people were listening in. "Seeking to unite three squabbling classmates by taunting and mocking all three of them at once, I don't think it was necessary but whether or not it worked I must commend you for at least making the attempt. If it does by chance work then congratulations, class hasn't even started yet and already you have created a group of people who don't like you." Either way he was excited to see how this went.
