Backstory: Jackie comes from a long line of villains, all of them holding the name Blackjack in their time. Her father was the last Blackjack but quit villainy when she was born to be a good father. They moved to America and lived there for awhile till Jackie’s mother was killed in an accident. Jackie and her father moved back to Japan where the League of villains attempted to recruit him. Unfortunately Jackie’s dad has developed a health condition and can no longer do physically exerting things so Jacqueline volunteers in his stead. They have her act as a spy of sorts in the Hero academy gathering information about the staff and students.



Quirk: kinetic charging. She can charge up any item small enough to fit in her hand and cause it to explode (if you’re familiar with Marvel’s Gambit she basically has his powers, she uses cards as well)

Personality: Her inability to feel pain has led to her having a hard time sympathizing with injured people as she often forgets that other people do in fact feel pain.
Backstory: Hanako is the result of a quirk marriage, well sort of. Her father, Taro Yamada, was a relatively successful pro-hero with the same quirk as his daughter. While he was very proud of his quirk, he soon realized that he was unable to fully utilize it as he was unable to tolerate the high level of pain that came with it. As a result, he became obsessed with finding a way to remove pain from the equation. After a long time researching, he came to the conclusion that if he couldn't remove his own sensation of pain, the second-best option was to ensure his children wouldn't face the same problem. As a result, he married a woman with congenital analgesia in the hopes that his children would inherit their father's quirk and their mother's disorder. And a year after their wedding, Hanko was born.

Hanako would have regarded as the perfect result of her parents' marriage by her father if it hadn't been for one teeny tiny detail. It turns out the feeling of pain serves an important purpose, namely as the body's warning system. Being unable to feel pain, Hanako didn't learn things like why touching a hot stove is a bad idea or why jumping down a flight of stairs isn't a good alternative to walking down them the same way most kids did. This resulted in numerous trips to the hospital and even a few visits from social services much to her parents' chagrin.

As she grew older, Hanoko became more and more interested to follow her father's footsteps and become a pro-hero. But as it turns out, no hero school were willing to let Hanoko apply for fear of being held responsible should hurt herself whilst studying. Desperate to show that all his effort hadn't been a waste of time, her father wound up bribing Shujinkō Academy to even considering letting her attend there.

Quirk:
No Pain No Gain is an accumulation-type that increases Hanako's physical abilities the more injured she is.

The obvious downside to this quirk is that she must be injured for it to take effect. Another weakness of this quirk is that it doesn't offer any practical ranged options meaning that she's pretty much screwed in any non-melee fight.
Super Move: Power-up: She just bangs her head against the nearest wall and/or object until she feels she's gained enough strength.

Hero Costume: She wears a black tank top with a dark, forest green denim jacket that has several pockets filled with varying types of paper. Medium grey cargo pants, also stocked with stationary, and comfy black combat-style boots. She also carries a sturdy book bag filled with, you guessed it, paper. She has a utility belt with some basic first aid supplies and two pairs of nunchuks.

Personality: Saika has a fairly open and amicable personality for the most part, but she's got a feisty streak a mile long and sometimes a foul mouth. In the past, she maaay have been involved in a scuffle or two in and out of school as a result. She has just enough tact not to be a straight-up jerk, but she pretty much calls things as she sees them and gets straight to the point if she has something to say. Her honest personality makes her a terrible liar, but that doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy getting into some harmless mischief. She's very protective of her food, especially anything that's a special treat she wouldn't normally be able to afford to eat and will not hesitate to throw down if someone tries to steal literally anything off her plate. She also has a bit of a shorty complex, so any teasing about her height is done at the person's own risk.

Backstory: Saika grew up in a fairly average, mundane household for the most part, if not a bit on the poor side. Her mother, Sora, raised her by herself after her father bolted when he found out she was pregnant; they'd been only teenagers at the time and he wasn't willing to face such responsibility. Sora raised her daughter with all the love and encouragement in the world and did her absolute best to provide for her. From a young age, Saika realized how hard her mother worked and struggled to keep food on the table and shelter over their heads and became hell-bent on doing whatever she could to help out, spurring her to look for work and take on the household chores whenever she could.
She recently acquired a part-time job at a cafe that caters to anime fans and often has employees dress up in themed cosplays. Through the power of internet tutorials and willing classmates as sparring partners Saika became a pretty skilled fighter for her age.

Quirk: Paper Puppet
Saika is able to control and animate paper that she touches. She is unable to change the mass, but is able to make it harder or sharper; thicker paper will harden more than thinner paper, but it's harder to manipulate it's shape, where thinner paper sharpens better and is more flexible than thicker paper. The paper Saika controls must be dry, if it gets wet it becomes too heavy and just... does what paper does when wet. She's become quite skilled at origami as a result, and if she's mastered a shape she can animate a sheet of paper to fold itself, but she must picture each and every fold; she can't just command it to become a crane if she doesn't know how to make one (she does, but just for example's sake).

This quirk takes constant concentration and therefor can become very mentally taxing if overused. Saika can't manipulate paper that she hasn't touched, and if she loses sight of her creation her quirk is disabled. She must make contact once again to regain control. Also, with excessive use, the skin on her hands get dry and can even reach the point of cracking and bleeding. Her creations are just as susceptible to burning as normal paper would be.


Super Move: ... None atm

Items: She always has her cell phone and wallet (duh), some sort of snacks on her, a ton of origami paper, and often a tutorial book for origami shapes.

Skills/talents: She's a pioneer in the sport of "Eat and Don't Get Caught by Teacher". She's also pretty good at free running/parkour, which makes her an excellent little escape artist for when she gets caught in aforementioned harmless mischief.

Name: Botan Tamaki

Hero Costume:
When in costume, he wears a tight striped blue and white jumpsuit with a shaded helmet. With a simple press of a button, the shades can be released allowing for his quirk to be activated. It also comes with spiked boots that let him keep a grip on the ground when shooting lasers.

Personality: Botan is a bright boy, always cracking jokes and trying to have fun. He is rarely ever serious with his friends, but he can be a bit cautious around people he is not familiar with. Botan struggles with a tough ego and is always trying to prove himself, making him a poor loser. While he tries to put up a tough facade, Botan is incredibly reckless and clumsy, usually opting to the first decision that comes to his head rather than a well thought out one. He also keeps a secretive side to him, a side that is incredibly self-conscious and even destructive when he fails other people.

Backstory: Like Botan, his mother had the same quirk he would end up having. Due to the this and the absence of a father figure until he was eight years old, Botan was rather shielded from society, as his mother feared her quirk would ignite in him and cause harm unexpectedly. At the age of four, it started, almost burning down the room he slept in. This caused trauma for the young boy who did not understand why he had to shield his face with a helmet, he thought he looked stupid.

At the age of eight, Botan's mother married and his step father took great measure that his new son was getting involved with other children. Botan played on football teams so his helmet would not look out of place and it was here where he would meet his best friend, Reo. Reo and Botan would compete with each other furiously, Reo's dream of becoming a pro hero inspired Botan to as well. Botan was no match for his friend, as he had hardly control over his quirk. The two boys would mature together, these events eventually changing Botan's helmet to a less serious pair of sunglasses that managed to work just fine at blocking any light. When they graduated from primary school, Reo was accepted into UA academy, while Botan made a fool of himself at the entrance exams, burning another applicant by accident and shooting himself to a wall. Botan would then applied to Shujinko academy as his backup, where his unique quirk was accepted and some of teacher's found his performance at UA entertaining.

Quirk:
Light Magnification
When light travels into his eyes, it is transformed into a magnified beam that can be used to injure victims and looking near the light may also cause temporary blindness. The severity of the light source also has an effect on his quirk, making for stronger or weaker beams (ie, light from the sun causes a stronger beam than light from the moon). Botan does not have the ability to disable this quirk, however and thus must shield his eyes completely from light when he is in public (he has special sunglasses to block light). Holding his eyes shut also disables his quirk, but sunglasses allow him to see.

Furthermore, when this quirk is active for too long, the side effects can range from blindness to the a future vulnerability to skin cancer. His vision is greatly inhibited while active, cutting off most of his central vision depending on how strong the light is.

Super Move:
Flash Bang
At the expense of his own sight, Botan can look up at the sun (or any strong light source) and create a quick burst of light that can blind opponents.

Items: Botan's skin is incredibly sensitive, so he often has a lot of products to augment this, especially sunscreen.

Skills/talents: Enjoys playing football and is a pretty good receiver. He is generally pretty athletic and good at any sport he tries in.

Relationships: Open to friends!
Reo: Botan's closest friend. Even though they do not go to the same high school, they keep close and text each other every night.
Mai: His mother who is incredibly protective and kind.
Yuuto: His step father who Botan respects and looks up to greatly. He is always encouraging him to pursue big dreams and take his quirk to the next leve.

Other: His mother is a crazy cat lady and he himself has three cats of his own. He doesn't tell anyone, but he treats them like little brothers.

Hero Costume: In her hero uniform, Akiyama wears a segmented form-fitting helmet, which casts an obscuring shade over the upper portion of her face, and with holes cut out for her antennae and second pair of eyes. On her arms, she wears a pair of thick, elbow-length metal vambraces, with an extra layer of protection on her forearms in the form of a matching pair of shield-like covers, segmented in a similar fashion to her helmet. Her claws are also covered in a pair of sheathes made of the same material (although for training exercises, she wears a pair that have blunted edges and are made of a softer material to prevent injuring her sparing partners). Her body is covered in a striking, green-and-black sleeveless spandex top, with a matching pair of shorts that covers her legs just above her knees. Lastly, she wears a pair of lightweight boots, fashioned after those worn by professional boxers.
As an extra adjustment, her boots and gloves have secret compartments, in which she stores adjustable training weights to improve her speed and maneuverability.
Height: Short for her age, measuring at 146.6 cm. or just around 4.8" ft.
Weight: 95 lbs. ( around 41 kg.)

Personality: Akiyama tends to see most things from a simplistic point of view, which can make her sound foolish or childish to others. However she becomes easily engrossed in things that catch her interest (which are usually small, trivial matters that don't catch the interest of others) and can display a surprising amount of insight when given the time to process her thoughts.
Because she has difficulty expressing herself to others, she tends to come off as distant, unapproachable, and socially awkward to others.
She's unnerved many a classmate, and frightened a great number of small children with her signature blank, bug-eyed stare, which masks an amicable, well-meaning soul that would enjoy nothing more then to sit down with someone, and discuss the finer points of beetle wrestling.
As a hero-in-training, she often compares herself to her more accomplished older sister, which has caused her to develop a slight inferiority complex. But, her unyielding determination, and constant desire for improvement can more than make up for her lack of natural talent.

Backstory:
Growing up without a father, Akiyama and her sister always looked towards superheroes to serve as their role models.
From an early age, they dreamed of one day being among their ranks, rising to the top as the greatest superhero fighting duo the world would ever see.
Many years later, Inoue, Akiyama's older sister, had earned the opportunity to take the Hero Entrance Exam, which she passed with flying colors, and was accepted into the prestigious UA Academy.
Two years later, Akiyama followed in her sister's footsteps, and took the exam, earning a passable, if not slightly below-average score.
And to her shock, she was rejected from attending the same school as her sister.
Although she had failed to get into UA, Shujinko Academy still found her scores on the exam passable enough to offer her a scholarship.
Shaken, but not undeterred, Akiyama gladly accepted the invitation, and enrolled at the lesser-known school of heroism.
It doesn't matter what school she goes to, or what trials she has to endure, as long as she gets to fight alongside her sister in the end, Akiyama is more than willing to go the distance.

Quirk: Mantis
A mutation-type quirk that gives Akiyama the characteristics of a praying mantis.
The ends of her hair have hardened into hard, chitinous sickles, which can extend to maximum range of 9 ft. (2.74 meters) in front of her, at a maximum speed of 23 miles per hour (10.7 meters per second).
A pair of fully-functioning compound eyes have also sprouted from the top of her head, giving her a near 360° view of her surroundings.
Lastly, she has a pair of antennae, and small, colorful wings, though they don't serve much of a purpose.

Super Move:
  • Akiyama's Mantis Trap Special!: A two-part attack: First Akiyama captures her opponent with her claws, then pulls them forward for a devastating headbutt.

Quirk: Nature Shape
To be honest, seems a bit too broad of a quirk for my taste. I'm fine with either being able to grow wings and other animal parts or transforming into animals, but both (espically for a first year student) is a bit too much.

Also, could this be used to mimic quirks like Muscular and Super Regeneration?

Given the broadness of what the CS seemed to encompass, that's why I made her quirk so broad. I was a bit confused on whether we were supposed to describe the quirk as it was starting off, or as it would be in the future; the inclusion of their costume designs and Super Move in the CS kind of threw me off and had me thinking I was supposed to have a fleshed out description of the whole quirk. ^.^' I'll go back and tweak it!

As a starting first year, I wasn't planning on having her be able to completely transform; growing wings is pretty much the limit I was thinking for starting off, and even then she wouldn't be able to actually fly because her body mass would prevent that. When she gets better at concentrating and transforming in general, and when she has a chance to work her quirk so that it uses energy more efficiently, is when I was thinking of having her be able to start doing full body shifting. Right now, she's only capable of using it to somewhat augment her fighting.

Her quirk can't do super regeneration, so she heals normally. The closest thing to Muscular that she could do would be something like gorilla arms, but she can't do something as OP as generating butt-tons of muscle or blowing up a sports arena with the flick of a finger.

Edit: I've gone back and tweaked her quirk description so she hopefully doesn't sound so stupidly over-powered for a first year, sorry about that!

Appearance:
A tall athletic girl who conceals the majority of their frame beneath many layers of padding and baggy fabrics, along with several strange facemasks commonly covering the lower half of her face. She appears to be drawn to the brighter colours and more feminine styles though joining such together in a more ragged makeshift style. When not restrained within twin pigtails her thick spikey hair resembles more of a lions mane than anything, the remainder of it flowing down her back in a similarly styled ponytail, all secured with neatly tied ribbons.

Hero Outfit:
Her Hero outfit appears to share similar styles to her normal fashion sense, capable of passing as normal clothing within most crowds despite actually being a custom-tailored support item. The large jacket and underlayers are actually more resembling a bomb suit than anything, with Laminated ballistic inserts atop Nomex and chainmail to protect them from blunt force, blades and small arms fire as well as a reactive protector plate to ease the impact on the spine should they be knocked down or into items. Despite its great weight of the combined materials, Kenko herself appears capable of moving in it without issue. The boots of the costume are actually reinforced with similar plates to the rest of her suit with solid protection to the soles, toes and ankle to prevent injury, the base of the feet fitted with a unique polymer that allows the force to be distributed more evenly to the ground during impacts. The rest of the fabric itself is more an alloy nano weave of plastics and metals than actual cloth giving low-level protection while also adapting to any particular changes with her quirk.

Equipment wise a small lavalier microphone has been installed upon the inside of her mask, allowing for her voice to be broadcasted both across a radio frequency to allies, her phone or even announced at greater volumes and modulated through speakers around the outfit. Other items carried include a high-quality chefs knife and high-calorie energy bars as well as her personal phone of course, with tinted glasses also added to protect against the bright flashes or other debris. Strangely enough, the face like design may seem out of place, though during crouching or when on verticle the truth can be seen in its appearance, the long ponytail out the back resembling more a spine and fringe spiked teeth to give the impression of a large lizard of sorts.

Personality: A confusing individual to the point several have questioned her mental state, capable of alternating from Aggression to Calmness, Childish to Mature, Serious to Joking at the drop of a coin making their exact state difficult to confirm even if it is static at all. On average, however, they are extremely cheerful and carefree albeit difficult to tell through her mask and tone of voice, prone to excitement yet also boredom and annoyance. She does appear to have a very competitive edge when it comes to such, yet at the same time is not the type to hold grudges. She does, however, seem to show thought, care and loyalty to those she has taken a liking to, but in the end, if she likes them she is incredibly easy to work with, if not? well its going to be difficult. What makes her a hero is despite all this they have a deep heart and wanting to help people, maybe to be seen as more than just a street rat.

Quirk: Hyper-Efficiency
Quirk Description:
A mutation style quirk that has drastically altered the way the user's biology functions increasing the efficiency and output of it substantially. The primary benefit of this is the ability to consume and draw nutrition from nearly any source without harm to themselves, the nutrients augmenting their capabilities as a result depending on what is consumed with incredible efficiency. For example, should the user consume milk their bone density and strength would increase depending on the quality and quantity consumed, Carrots would improve eyesight and more. The normal body regulates the amount of the various minerals and vitamins a person can hold to prevent it accumulating to toxic levels, fortunately however this is not the case for the user. Additional material consumed will be stored upon their body as appropriate, with exercise showing improved results allowing her to somewhat control her physique. It is believed that the benefit she gains from eating can also be boosted by a positive mental state while doing so either by through particular favourites, gourmet dishes or simply doing so while surrounded and sharing such with friends. The true advantage of quirk being the constant accumulation of power over time with the residual effects lingering, the level of physical prowess even allowing feats as creating ranged damage just from the force of her blows.
Quirk Drawbacks:
Despite this increase in efficiency, her body still requires the necessary energy to use the required enhancements resulting in an excessive calorie expenditure in order to fuel intense actions and as a result, require an immense amount of food when compared to your average person. This also prevents the beneficial effects of many manufactured drugs such as painkillers, requiring a high infusion of nutrients instead.
Quirk Development:
Several avenues are open for the development of the user's quirk, the most prominent being increasing the efficiency of calorie use to both prolong their ability to operate at their maximum, this combined with maintaining a controlled diet is going to allow her development to increase over time. While seeming simple there are said to be 2 particular arts that could be developed. One is allowing the body itself to work as a whole in unison towards the singular goal to prevent wasted movement or efforts. The other would be mastering of her emotional states when consuming such material to further increase the benefits of such.
Super move: Autophagy, The move can be used when the user is completely starved and in need of energy, allowing their cells to consume other less vital parts of the body, temporarily restoring their stamina and increasing their strength but causing their body to effectively start consuming itself in exchange. This move requires to be used with caution as they must re-nourish their body or face serious health risks,

Strengths:
Physically Kenko is inhuman in the level of physical feats they are capable of, not only through there body's conditioning but also the level of acrobatics they can be seen performing such as clearing urban terrains with an unnatural easy. Showing remarkable manual dexterity within their sleight of hand she has also proved very capable in conflicts despite having no defined style, instead seeming to be a concentrated ball of natural talent and instincts allowing her to both react and adapt quickly in combination with a relentless approach giving little time to react or catch the breath. They are also known to employ underhanded tactics within a fight going more for the result than any actual honour, something aided further by a strange ability to seemingly erase their presence making them extremely difficult to detect once they leave line of sight.

While mentally they are extremely sharp and intelligent, academically they are somewhat below average due to lacking much of the formal education common to others, instead of picking up a variety of skills elsewhere, though they do however seem to excel particularly in their knowledge of health and fitness topics as well as seeming to pick up new ones quickly. Other notable talents would be items such as her excellent communication skills when it is required as well as appearing to possess a far greater sense of taste and smell than a normal individual, effectively making them a high-class supertaster capable of picking out minute flavours even in vast quantities of others. Given her times on the streets and orphanage, she has acquired an array of skills and knowledge relating to such, making them fairly self-sufficient as well as awareness of how such places work.

Weaknesses:
Lacking a formal education due to their delinquency and orphan status Kenko suffers academically in several areas, such as possessing terrible handwriting and knowledge of several key areas that fall outside the street smarts, logical and practical subjects. For example basic mathematics she would appear highly capable, yet should you begin to cover percentages, algebra or more they would fall away, the same with historic, knowledge-based or social subjects. Her enhanced senses do also make them more prone to such being exploited such as with powerful odours, resulting in their need for their mask

History/Backstory:
An Orphan from a relatively underfunded orphanage, her quirk would take some time to become apparent due to the relatively little nutrition she received and periods of starvation. Backstory :
He once had a family when he was still little, but it all change after an incident fall to their family. His parents was a hero in separate countries, his father was "Decoy Master" in the US fighting villains using decoy of himself from a part of his body, and his mother "The Mind Reader" working in Japan as an interrogator receiving information from villains. One day his father came home from the US to Japan bringing someone, which turns out to be a villain and ends up killing his parents except Sven. After the incident the heroes was sent to capture the villain, which turns out to be successful.

He then moved with his cousin in an apartment she rented, which is now where he'll be living until he grow up to buy his own house or apartment. He didn't go to school, instead he was tutored by his cousin in her apartment. Until one day he realized that he has a quirk from a quirk marriage from his parents, his cousin immediately told him to enroll in a Hero Academy to further improve his quirk, which then he spent a long time preparing to enter an Academy by training, studying, until he eventually prepared for the Academy. But since his cousin was paying the rent for the apartment that he's living in right now, he goes to a slightly cheaper academy, which is Shujinko Academy. He didn't want to trouble his cousin even though she insisted to go to a better academy, Sven rejects the offer and goes to Shujinko Academy.

Quirk :
The power to deceive or in another word giving "illusion of something". Combination of quirks from his Parents, by making an eye contact with Sven (Same as Eraserhead ability) will make the target to see illusions suggested by Sven in their mind. From his mother's "Mind Reading" ability makes it an absolute MUST to make eye contact towards the target in order to use it, while his father's "Decoy Master" ability to make decoy of himself from a part of his body turns into a mind affecting illusions, by making suggestions to the target. But since he still haven't fully unlocked the potential of his ability, he can't make a bigger scale illusion or even holding his mind and sanity.

Jason inherited this, gaining fox ears, a tail and larger canines along with some other things. Jason's hair and skin are white, contrasting with his emerald eyes.


Hero Costume: Jason's hero costume consists of: A body suit which reaches his elbows and knees, thin cloth trousers with lightweight running trainers, a zipped hoodie and a specially made protective headpiece.

Personality: Jason is a naive child, a firm believer that everyone has a glimmer of good inside... Wherever goodness goes. He's not stupid and he fully understands that most people don't give one about ideals, but he'd rather believe in everyone than believe in noone.

Jason is a high-functioning autistic savant, bordering on Asperger's (personal experience, trust me) and this leads him into a harsh lack of understanding that even the most basic of abstract concepts, love and hate, for example.
TLDR: Jason is a happy-go-lucky boy, but there's a lot going on for him. Don't overwhelm him and you'll find yourself a steadfast friend.


Backstory: Jason grew up in a pretty standard home. His mother was (and still is) a high-rank pro hero, so his father, quite the overworked doctor, took care of him for most of his childhood. Jason had always been interested in science, from the first he encountered it in school, so he was almost an apprentice of his father by his early teens.

As the time to pick his studies approached: the family, with Jason's newborn sister, moved to Japan so his mother could pursue a lead on a strong villain. Jason had been planning on going to Oakwood, a British school for science and hero studies, but the emotional stress of leaving his family for a prolonged period of time was advised against by Jason's doctor, so he had to apply for Shujinkō Academy, the local hero school. He got in with his perfect grade record (and a letter of recommendation from his mother) and that's where we are now.

Quirk: Vulpine Chemist
Jason's hybrid quirk is the result of an unintentional quirk marriage. The two quirks which formed Jason's and the traits that he inherited are as follows:


Vulpine Body is the quirk of Jason's mother, Kali Riviera. The mutant quirk gave the user multiple fox-like traits: hypersensitive fox ears, a non prehensile, fluffy tail; larger and sharper canines, a small stature and faster reflexes. There are others, but Jason didn't inherit those, sadly. The drawback of this half of the quirk is only that, while hypersensitive hearing is useful, overly loud or high-pitched noises hurt Jason majorly and will probably send him into a sensory overload (autistic people have trouble processing lots of sensory stimuli, it makes our brains go into shutdown mode...)

Items: Jason always carries a pair of protective headphones wherever he goes, on advice from his doctor.

Skills/talents: Jason, an autistic savant, excels in one specific area. This area is chemistry, more specifically biochemistry, as he knows almost all their is to know about reactions, chemical formulas and how the body reacts to the presence of certain chemicals. He has a lot of knowledge in other subjects as well, but nowhere near the level of this. Physically, Jason is slightly above average.

Relationships:
Kali Riviera: Jason's mother, as a pro hero, was always quite busy and got home from work late consistently. This didn't stop her bond with Jason being extremely strong. Both people's kind personalities shine through in their interactions and Jason endlessly looks up to his mother, Jason's sole inspiration to be a hero.


Alexander Riviera: Alexander, Jason's father, was the main parental figure in the home for most of the time. Thus, he knows Jason better than anyone. The shared interest, his support of Jason's disorders etc. Just as strong of a bond as Jason and his mother.

Bailey Riviera: Jason's newborn sister. The two haven't had much in the way of contact, but Jason seems to calm Bailey down and make her laugh.

Jason can also use various chemicals inside his body to form small crystalline structures (maximum size of 2m x 2m x 2m).
I don't see how this part is relevant to the rest of your characters quirk. How does being able to increase and decrease chemicals in his body translate to creating crystalline structures? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but chemistry wasn't my best subject.

Why are they going to this school?: Following early release from a juvenile detention centre, she was given the choice between this or community service while also homeless. One had better beds and gave her a chance to turn her life around.

Quirk Description:
A mutation style quirk that has drastically altered the way the user's biology functions increasing the efficiency and output of it substantially. The primary benefit of this is the ability to consume and draw nutrition from nearly any source without harm to themselves, the nutrients augmenting their capabilities as a result depending on what is consumed with incredible efficiency. For example, should the user consume milk their bone density and strength would increase depending on the quality and quantity consumed, Carrots would improve eyesight and more. The normal body regulates the amount of the various minerals and vitamins a person can hold to prevent it accumulating to toxic levels, fortunately however this is not the case for the user. Additional material consumed will be stored upon their body as appropriate, with exercise showing improved results allowing her to somewhat control her physique. It is believed that the benefit she gains from eating can also be boosted by a positive mental state while doing so either by through particular favourites, gourmet dishes or simply doing so while surrounded and sharing such with friends. The true advantage of quirk being the constant accumulation of power over time with the residual effects lingering, the level of physical prowess even allowing feats as creating ranged damage just from the force of her blows.

Quirk Drawbacks:
Despite this increase in efficiency, her body still requires the necessary energy to use the required enhancements resulting in an excessive calorie expenditure in order to fuel intense actions and as a result, require an immense amount of food when compared to your average person. This also prevents the beneficial effects of many manufactured drugs such as painkillers, requiring a high infusion of nutrients instead.
Yeah, this is a bit too overpowered for my taste. The sole weakness of the quirk essentially boils down to "she needs to eat a lot" but that's not really much of a weakness when the school provide all the food you need.

When you say that she can use this quirk to somewhat control her physique, what excatly do you mean?

and when she has a chance to work her quirk so that it uses energy more efficiently, is when I was thinking of having her be able to start doing full body shifting.
Thought about it a bit, and I think that growing wings/gorilla arms etc and completely transforming into animals is a bit to broad.

On her arms, she wears a pair of thick, elbow-length metal vambraces, with an extra layer of protection on her forearms in the form of a matching pair of shield-like covers, segmented in a similar fashion to her helmet. Her claws are also covered in a pair of sheathes made of the same material (although for training exercises, she wears a pair that have blunted edges and are made of a softer material to prevent injuring her sparing partners). Her body is covered in a striking, green-and-black sleeveless spandex top, with a matching pair of shorts that covers her legs just above her knees. Lastly, she wears a pair of lightweight boots, fashioned after those worn by professional boxers.
As an extra adjustment, her boots and gloves have secret compartments, in which she stores adjustable training weights to improve her speed and maneuverability.

Personality: Akiyama tends to see most things from a simplistic point of view, which can make her sound foolish or childish to others. However she becomes easily engrossed in things that catch her interest (which are usually small, trivial matters that don't catch the interest of others) and can display a surprising amount of insight when given the time to process her thoughts.
Because she has difficulty expressing herself to others, she tends to come off as distant, unapproachable, and socially awkward to others.
She's unnerved many a classmate, and frightened a great number of small children with her signature blank, bug-eyed stare, which masks an amicable, well-meaning soul that would enjoy nothing more then to sit down with someone, and discuss the finer points of beetle wrestling.

Growing up without a father, Akiyama and her sister always looked towards superheroes to serve as their role models.
From an early age, they dreamed of one day being among their ranks, rising to the top as the greatest superhero fighting duo the world would ever see.
Many years later, Inoue, Akiyama's older sister, had earned the opportunity to take the Hero Entrance Exam, which she passed with flying colors, and was accepted into the prestigious UA Academy.
Two years later, Akiyama followed in her sister's footsteps, and took the exam, earning a passable, if not slightly below-average score.
And to her shock, she was rejected from attending the same school as her sister.
Although she had failed to get into UA, Shujinko Academy still found her scores on the exam passable enough to offer her a scholarship.
Shaken, but not undeterred, Akiyama gladly accepted the invitation, and enrolled at the lesser-known school of heroism.
It doesn't matter what school she goes to, or what trials she has to endure, as long as she gets to fight alongside her sister in the end, Akiyama is more than willing to go the distance.

Quirk: Mantis
A mutation-type quirk that gives Akiyama the characteristics of a praying mantis.
The ends of her hair have hardened into hard, chitinous sickles, which can extend to maximum range of 9 ft. (2.74 meters) in front of her, at a maximum speed of 23 miles per hour (10.7 meters per second).
A pair of fully-functioning compound eyes have also sprouted from the top of her head, giving her a near 360° view of her surroundings.
Lastly, she has a pair of antennae, and small, colorful wings, though they don't serve much of a purpose.

Unfortunately Jackie’s dad has developed a health condition and can no longer do physically exerting things so Jacqueline volunteers in his stead. They have her act as a spy of sorts in the Hero academy gathering information about the staff and students.

1: Yeah idea was a Delinquent that turned a life around, so i changed it to them running into Law and given the choice was the school or Juvinelle detention?
2: Removed the Explosives (Since that was more a gadget from other game)
3: Ill remove the Super move, was trying to think of one that fit so went with that....i can develop something else later.
4: A: The weakness was that if they go heavy on exertion they burn through calorie reserves at a high rate, effectively they exhaust themselves/low endurance. They cant constantly be eating in a fight, the food part comes after as a way to recharge. However i am fine working in additonal weaknesses if you had any ideas?
4: B: The changes would be certain things that would say...promote hair growth would have her hair grow faster over a few days, muscle growth would allow her to bulk up over, Calcium helps bones etc. Which would change their appearance somewhat depending, other thing would be Body fat is easier to manage due to all of this.
4: C: Pretty much long term she gets stronger due to a healthy diet/storing energy.

Overall character was supposed to be a Physical Powerhouse type. Though i am open to any ideas for changes you had?

Appearance:
Of long limbs and a dark look, Kaoru appears to be both ordinary and "goth" in his personal style. With plain, black hair, standard dark eyes, and no outstanding handsome features he doesn't stand out on the crowded street, but occasionally receives attention for appearing dark and brooding. His most distinguishing mark is a dark, reddish birthmark beside his left eye.​
Hero Costume
His costume is designed to provide his body with extra support and defense, it also includes protective googles that are modded for night vision. The costume is almost casual, allowing him to draw less attention to himself, and is entirely black. It's completed with calf-length combat boots and a hooded jacket, hiding the bullet-proof protective layer underneath, and stylish fingerless gloves.​

Personality:
Moody and driven, Kaoru is a person who always works hard and prides himself on good results, consequently he is also someone that's insecure and constantly stressing over life's demands. He strives to make a strong identity for himself but doesn't know exactly what he wants, therefore he relies on what his emotions tell him and identifies mostly with his interests - the grand, the legendary, and the esoteric. Due to his high aspirations Kaoru often takes himself too seriously and thinks he's smarter than he actually is, moreover he's a smartass and can't stop himself from talking back or making a rude comment. He's absorbed in his own dissatisfaction and weakness, and at his worst subsides to angst and at his best challenges himself to improve. Unsurprisingly, he's never been popular or known for being friendly, but he is empathetic towards other people despite his overall negative opinion on the human race. He's quick to admire the strengths and talents of other people and is intrigued by the different, sometimes doting on those too naive to notice their own unique quality. Still, he is straight-forward and never spares a persons feelings in exchange for honesty.​

Backstory:
Hailing from a village in central Hokkaido, Kaoru was raised with humble means in the countryside by average parents who made their livelihood off their generational family farm. His parents, both born and raised in the same village, are industrious, hearty people with conflicting quirks: a simple strength enhancement in his mother and the minor psionic quirk of his father that lets him levitate. They raised Kaoru and his four siblings with strict discipline, hard work, and a habit for being annoyingly affectionate - to the point that it's embarrassing. He grew up in a routine of constant labor, leading to a lasting resentment towards his parents for trapping him a boring cycle. Even in childhood he dreamed of a more exciting life, like something from television, and like many of his classmates he began idolizing the heroes of the big city.​
In his last year of middle school Kaoru applied to as many hero schools as he could think of, leading him to deplete his life-savings to attend dozens of entrance exams across Japan. Ultimately he ended up enrolling in Shujinko Academy, although he remained bitter for accumulating so many rejections from a more prestigious competition. Nonetheless Kaoru made the move with the support of his parents, now living alone in the city on the allowance they send him.​

Quirk: Force-Field
At his current state Kaoru is only able to summon a single force field which operates as a psionic construct by creating an energy barrier. This quirk benefits mostly from defensive advantages, as it can be used as a shield by absorbing the force applied to it. The force field can be molded into various shapes including a wall, a sphere, and a cube from. The force field can also be used to protect only specific areas as well, and the barrier itself is invisible although it doesn't turn the object(s) it protects invisible. The current limit of his quirk is as follows: in length alone, 4 meters; in area, 3x3 meters; in time, an average of 15 minutes and a record of 30 minutes.
Weaknesses
To active this type of quirk one must tap into psionic energy, in which good health and mental discipline is needed. A level of concentration also needs to be maintained or the force field will become unstable. Naturally more work costs more energy and the size of the force field he generates reduces the total time it is palpable and effective. While the force field is durable and can protect against various assaults it is not invulnerable and can be particularly vulnerable to other psionic attacks, energy or electromagnetic manipulators or fluctuations, radioactive decay, and nuclear attacks. In general the force field cannot resist against any and all attacks, and eventually it will collapse if enough force is applied, making him particularly vulnerable to strong physical and endurance type quirks​

Personality: Dai is a very curious person when it comes to anything really. He is also known to be very honest and blunt to the point it can seem like an insult. He hates working together on anything as he is a very independent person. When he talks it seems very bipolar from being very Optimistic to Pessimistic at the drop of a hat.

Backstory: Dai was the first child for the Himichi's Mamoru coming later. His parents separated when he was young, he was taken in with his mother and his brother with their father. After that, he lived an average life. Reconnecting with his brother secretly when he was twelve since he had heard through his mother(Who didn't seem to care) that Mamoru was neglected at home. Dai worked hard to be able to stick with his brother and help him. They both ended up going to Shujinkō High School and graduating successfully! His brother had decided against pursuing the Hero industry, unlike Dai. Who had become an underground hero barely known. Since then he had been working undisturbed until three years ago when he had been asked by Shujinkō to work as a Teacher. He said yes and Here we are.

Quirk: Replace
Allows the user to switch positions with certain objects that they can see.
- The Sizes of objects he can switch with range from small rocks to cars.
- It cannot be a grounded item like a section from a wall, doors, tree's etc
- They Have to see the object in order to switch spots with it
- They also must clearly identify the object they want to switch with. (Say what the thing is in their head or out loud)

Special Moves: Switch! Switch! Switch!
The user throws objects in the air and quickly switching between each object, they attack in between each switch they would attack attacks.
But they get disoriented and nauseous.

Hideki is a strong and motivated individual, he wants to be the very best and will do whatever he can to become it. He is very goal oriented and wants to do everything he can to achieve them. He can be kinda distant and closed off sometimes. He can show a lighthearted side to himself but after what happened to his parents that side doesn't come out often.
Backstory:
Hideki came from a superhero family. His father and mother were both superheroes, so was his grandparents and aunts and uncles on both sides of the family so needless to say that was what was expected of him too. He gained the quirk of his father. From his father he got the power to control ice.

When Hideki was 12 years old his parents were out patrolling the city, thats when the worst day of his life unfolded. His parents were strong, but they were both killed by a strong villain. One so strong that the only person who was eventually able to take him down was All Might himself. Hideki was devastated. He loved his parents and just like that they were gone, they were trying to help people and just like that a person took them down. Hideki was devastated, the happy energetic kid quickly changed into a depressed quiet 12 year old. For a while after that he hated his quirk, It was a constant reminder of his parents. Hideki refused to use it and gave up his dream of being a hero. As time went by Hideki started to change, after talks with his grandparents Hideki decided to start using his quirks again and to try and become a hero again, it was what his parents wanted and he wanted to honor them and their sacrifice.

Half Ice-Half Light Hideki has both of his parents quirks (I know copying Todoroki to a degree but I really liked it!) Out of his left side he can use his ice powers, while out of his right side he can use his lightning powers

I'm gonna have to say no to this quirk, I'm afraid. Being able to create and control forcefields is a bit too versatile and powerful for my taste.

Hero Costume: She wears a black tank top with a dark, forest green denim jacket that has several pockets filled with varying types of paper. Medium grey cargo pants, also stocked with stationary, and comfy black combat-style boots. She also carries a sturdy book bag filled with, you guessed it, paper. She has a utility belt with some basic first aid supplies and two pairs of nunchuks.

Personality: Saika has a fairly open and amicable personality for the most part, but she's got a feisty streak a mile long and sometimes a foul mouth. In the past, she maaay have been involved in a scuffle or two in and out of school as a result. She has just enough tact not to be a straight-up jerk, but she pretty much calls things as she sees them and gets straight to the point if she has something to say. Her honest personality makes her a terrible liar, but that doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy getting into some harmless mischief. She's very protective of her food, especially anything that's a special treat she wouldn't normally be able to afford to eat and will not hesitate to throw down if someone tries to steal literally anything off her plate. She also has a bit of a shorty complex, so any teasing about her height is done at the person's own risk.

Backstory: Saika grew up in a fairly average, mundane household for the most part, if not a bit on the poor side. Her mother, Sora, raised her by herself after her father bolted when he found out she was pregnant; they'd been only teenagers at the time and he wasn't willing to face such responsibility. Sora raised her daughter with all the love and encouragement in the world and did her absolute best to provide for her. From a young age, Saika realized how hard her mother worked and struggled to keep food on the table and shelter over their heads and became hell-bent on doing whatever she could to help out, spurring her to look for work and take on the household chores whenever she could.
She recently acquired a part-time job at a cafe that caters to anime fans and often has employees dress up in themed cosplays. Through the power of internet tutorials and willing classmates as sparring partners Saika became a pretty skilled fighter for her age.

Quirk: Paper Puppet
Saika is able to control and animate paper that she touches. She is unable to change the mass, but is able to make it harder or sharper; thicker paper will harden more than thinner paper, but it's harder to manipulate it's shape, where thinner paper sharpens better and is more flexible than thicker paper. The paper Saika controls must be dry, if it gets wet it becomes too heavy and just... does what paper does when wet. She's become quite skilled at origami as a result, and if she's mastered a shape she can animate a sheet of paper to fold itself, but she must picture each and every fold; she can't just command it to become a crane if she doesn't know how to make one (she does, but just for example's sake).

This quirk takes constant concentration and therefor can become very mentally taxing if overused. Saika can't manipulate paper that she hasn't touched, and if she loses sight of her creation her quirk is disabled. She must make contact once again to regain control. Also, with excessive use, the skin on her hands get dry and can even reach the point of cracking and bleeding. Her creations are just as susceptible to burning as normal paper would be.


Super Move: ... None atm

Items: She always has her cell phone and wallet (duh), some sort of snacks on her, a ton of origami paper, and often a tutorial book for origami shapes.

Skills/talents: She's a pioneer in the sport of "Eat and Don't Get Caught by Teacher". She's also pretty good at free running/parkour, which makes her an excellent little escape artist for when she gets caught in aforementioned harmless mischief.

His suit is really just a fancy suit of biker gear, with padding and plates designed to further soften the brunt of Human vs. Sheer Speed.

Personality: Ahren is an easygoing ladies man with a cunning mind and a perma-bored face. And while he is indeed a delinquent, there is a heart of solid gold under his unmotivated, rude, and foul mouthed exterior.

However, he's quite serious in his own way. He's the first into battle or training, and he's always studying up on things that interest him. Class just isn't one of them.

Backstory:
Ahren grew up normal. Functional family, suburban living, the works. However, this didn't stop him from hanging with the wrong bunch of superpowered children, and the daily scraps to show who's boss instilled a craving for strength in the young lads, who turned to vigilantism shortly after he turned twelve.

After school, he'd go out with his friends, catch low level criminals and test his ability. Unfortunately it all went wrong one day, and their ragtag group of tiny idiots failed to save the day. Instead, they made the situation much worse, and two of the group got caught by the law.

Ahren and two other boys escaped, but out of fear of getting in trouble, they rarely spoke again after that, and Ahren moved on any way when his family relocated to Japan for his Father's job.

With his tail between his legs, and a blank slate, Ahren quit vigilantism, and lived a quiet life until he could enroll in Shujinko, and try to do it right this time.

Quirk: V8 - Ahren can move like a mother, and his physiology has been boosted to keep up. This includes the ability to withstand the impacts and pressures of such speeds, as well as reflexes and fine motor skills to match.

While "lower" speeds are fairly sustainable, accelerating to and maintaining higher speeds burns through his stamina rapidly.

Super Move:
Redline - Ahren, with a heavy hit to stamina and potential injury to his legs, can move at speeds unrivaled by any mid-range car* based on traction and other factors. He can't keep this up for long before the boost tops out and the drag starts putting strain on his body.

Hero Costume:
When in costume, he wears a tight striped blue and white jumpsuit with a shaded helmet. With a simple press of a button, the shades can be released allowing for his quirk to be activated. It also comes with spiked boots that let him keep a grip on the ground when shooting lasers.

Height: 5'2"

Weight: 145 lbs

Personality: Botan is a bright boy, always cracking jokes and trying to have fun. He is rarely ever serious with his friends, but he can be a bit cautious around people he is not familiar with. Botan struggles with a tough ego and is always trying to prove himself, making him a poor loser. While he tries to put up a tough facade, Botan is incredibly reckless and clumsy, usually opting to the first decision that comes to his head rather than a well thought out one. He also keeps a secretive side to him, a side that is incredibly self-conscious and even destructive when he fails other people.

Backstory: Like Botan, his mother had the same quirk he would end up having. Due to the this and the absence of a father figure until he was eight years old, Botan was rather shielded from society, as his mother feared her quirk would ignite in him and cause harm unexpectedly. At the age of four, it started, almost burning down the room he slept in. This caused trauma for the young boy who did not understand why he had to shield his face with a helmet, he thought he looked stupid.

At the age of eight, Botan's mother married and his step father took great measure that his new son was getting involved with other children. Botan played on football teams so his helmet would not look out of place and it was here where he would meet his best friend, Reo. Reo and Botan would compete with each other furiously, Reo's dream of becoming a pro hero inspired Botan to as well. Botan was no match for his friend, as he had hardly control over his quirk. The two boys would mature together, these events eventually changing Botan's helmet to a less serious pair of sunglasses that managed to work just fine at blocking any light. When they graduated from primary school, Reo was accepted into UA academy, while Botan made a fool of himself at the entrance exams, burning another applicant by accident and shooting himself to a wall. Botan would then applied to Shujinko academy as his backup, where his unique quirk was accepted and some of teacher's found his performance at UA entertaining.

Quirk:
Light Magnification
When light travels into his eyes, it is transformed into a magnified beam that can be used to injure victims and looking near the light may also cause temporary blindness. The severity of the light source also has an effect on his quirk, making for stronger or weaker beams (ie, light from the sun causes a stronger beam than light from the moon). Botan does not have the ability to disable this quirk, however and thus must shield his eyes completely from light when he is in public (he has special sunglasses to block light). Holding his eyes shut also disables his quirk, but sunglasses allow him to see.

Furthermore, when this quirk is active for too long, the side effects can range from blindness to the a future vulnerability to skin cancer. His vision is greatly inhibited while active, cutting off most of his central vision depending on how strong the light is.

Super Move:
Flash Bang
At the expense of his own sight, Botan can look up at the sun (or any strong light source) and create a quick burst of light that can blind opponents.

Items: Botan's skin is incredibly sensitive, so he often has a lot of products to augment this, especially sunscreen.

Skills/talents: Enjoys playing football and is a pretty good receiver. He is generally pretty athletic and good at any sport he tries in.

Relationships: Open to friends!
Reo: Botan's closest friend. Even though they do not go to the same high school, they keep close and text each other every night.
Mai: His mother who is incredibly protective and kind.
Yuuto: His step father who Botan respects and looks up to greatly. He is always encouraging him to pursue big dreams and take his quirk to the next leve.

Other: His mother is a crazy cat lady and he himself has three cats of his own. He doesn't tell anyone, but he treats them like little brothers.

would you be willing to reconsider if i adjusted his force fields to be weaker? I could adjust it so he can only create a single, smaller force field, and even remove his supermove. if you really don't like it though, i'll do something else (i think up some alternatives in the mean time)
in most mediums they are invisible so yeah, i imagined the barriers themselves to be invisible, but not make the things inside them invisible. in the case of the bullets though, they'd just encase some air.

4:C: The idea was to use the show as a guideline. So at the start with the test robots, it would be something around what you see from Bakugo but more strength wise. However, I can lower it if you want. They are an all-around a physical powerhouse type was the idea, however im also fine with a playing it by ear approach if you want.
