  Born to two tieflings, Freedom and Creed, Amon's original name was Hope Ashmoon. Creed and Freedom’s love story was rather mundane in the grand scheme of things; lowly musician falls in love with a store clerk and lives happily ever after. Except that last part never came to pass. Creed’s musical career didn’t take off as he had planned and in an attempt to support himself and his fiancé-to-be, he took up petty theft and soon found himself tangled up with a small bandit group named The Vultures.
  
  Creed continued his partnership with The Vultures well into their marriage, even after their darling son had been born. He continued playing music on the side as well, often times using his downtime to fill Amon's life with music when he could. That was, of course, until shortly after his son's fourth birthday. In a fight unlike any other they had ever had, Freedom kicked Creed from their home after finding out that he was climbing the ranks within The Vultures. Like hell was she letting a bandit help raise her son.

  Growing up, Amon was oftentimes left with a nanny as his mother went to work to try and support her dwindling family. Coddled as he was by this nanny, as he grew older, he became more and more restless with the life laid out before him. Add the vague memories of his father, desire to play music, and his mother's distaste for music, and you have a recipe for disaster. After many a fight with his mother about whether or not she would support his decision to follow the same bardic path his father did, Amon had had more than enough.
  
  Late in the evening around four days before his 16th birthday, Amon slipped out of his window and into the cool, salt dusted air of his little ocean town.
  
  Luckily enough for him, he had been slipping out of his home to practice music with various other bards around the town and had even picked up a bit of magic while doing so. With nothing but a lute and a dream, he set off for the nearest kingdom to try and make it big. And make it big he did, after getting involved with a merry band of bards that called themselves Sapphire Riot. Amon travelled with the band for around 4 years before setting off to pursue his own solo career under the name Amon Hyden.

  Sapphire Riot
  Band of bards which Amon travelled with for around four years. Made up of Judas (he/him; half orc guitarist), Medina, (they/them; dwarf piano player) and Firestorm (she/her; fire & air genasi who plays a whole bunch of instruments).
  
  Creed
  Amon's father who has been absent for 16 years of this poor kid's life. Amon thinks he's a wonderful musician but is wary of meeting him again after the things his mother has told him. It's a classic "he said/she said" situation, but he's yet to hear Creed's side of the story.
  
  Freedom
  Amon's Mother, not on speaking terms currently.
