“Everyone to your horses! Dru, Ranni keep the horses and carriage protected!” Xander shouted as he subconsciously grabbed for Maya.

Ranni got onto her staff but was shivering out of fear.

"All this was a trap." Miandiya said taking out her knife and stabbing some of the worms. "We better get out of here" she went back to her horse.

"That's a lot of worms." Thindro drew his staff and began chanting. Small flames began to appear on his staff. He was charging a powerful fire spell.

Ranni swallowed hard as she tried to forget about the mass of worms directly below her, while Thindro, and Dru were attempting to fight the worms, as well as Maya and Miandiya still in the area, a magic circle began to form on the ground fully encircling the nest, and much of the surrounding area just to be safe.

“Ok that should keep them from getting away, now…” she said to herself before casting a short range teleport spell and Thindro, Dru, Maya, Mia, and their horse were transported out of the clearing and back with the rest of the group.

“Ok now for you disgusting creatures…” she said with a shiver running down her spin as memories from her past flooded in again, she got back to work on the spell she started with the circle as 6 more appeared in the sky above her, reaching into the clouds.

After realizing she was in the path she began to ride out of the way, getting lower and lower to the ground as her mana was being used up for the spell, she made it half way back to the group before she shouted the spell with last of her strength “Sol’s Judgement!!”

Literal seconds after she performed the spell her flight came to an ubrubpt stop as she plummeted 15 feet out of the sky and crashed into the dirt hard falling unconscious due to mana usage and blunt trauma.

As the whole group looked at her there was a bright flash in the sky as the clouds broke apart leaving a nice hole through the center as a highly concentrated beam of sunlight shot through the circles and impacting the ground with a loud boom as a shockwave of sound and air blew passed the group knocking everyone off their horses and sending the carriage tumbling several dozen meters spilling its contents.

Adelaide was silent while everything happened infront of her. She felt relieved when those left behind when they speed off in the carage finally appeared infront of them. Everyone seemed okay a little confused and grossed out but not harmed. Adelaide took a step back as her eyes went wide as she looked up at the sky as the spell was casted by Ranni.

Adelaide was sent back flying from the force of the spell. She tumbled back on the ground being missed by the carage by an inch as it was sent back flying with her and the others. When everything passed the fairy got up trying to calm her fast beating heart as she dusted her clothing after the tumble. She looked back at the carage seeing all of their contents spilled all over. Then looked back to the forest were they had been. Here heart sanked and she held back tears at the state of the forest. She closed her eyes pushing back the feelings as a few tears rolled down her cheeks. Not saying a word she went off to start picking up the items that had fallen out of the carage.

Dru frowned as Flora got Ranni before he could but he ignored her figuring since they ignored him he'd do the same. Instead he focused on putting out the Greek fire so that it wouldn't burn anything else and changed the energy animating Festus to something for destruction and then riding back to the group using strengthening magic to pick up the carriage.

As the environment settled and everyone had returned to their feet after the chaos of both the infestation of worms and Ranni’s over reaction spell, the group began to collect their things.

Felicia checked on Adelaide as they both gathered everything that had fallen out of the carriage. “Are you alright miss Adelaide?” She asked as she picked up a couple packs of provisions and set them by the tree that had the carriage smashed against it.

Xander went to check on Maya, checking her head for any injuries as she hit the tree pretty hard “everything in one piece Maya?” He asked variously as he inspected her for other injuries.
