  The world is a dangerous place with monsters around every corner. They have fangs, claws and even tendrils that will cause the meek to faint with just a glimpse. They have existed just as long as we have and they thrive in every environment. Some of them even have powers that can twist reality itself with ease. But, luckily we are not defenseless. Humans have also been gifted with unique powers that allow them to achieve a great deal of feats! While every human is born with some sort of gift, only the most trained can make the most out of their powers. The two opposing forces, human and monster have been equal for time unending, but that fragile balance would not exist forever.
  
  In an event that would later be known as the Surge, the monsters powers were drastically increased. Prior to the Surge a human could take on a monster alone and have a good chance to come out victorious After the Surge, a single human winning against a monster became an impossible feat. Humanity is being pushed to the very brink of extinction. Smaller cities vanished over night, their survivors having no choice but to immigrate to Alturas, the most fortified city in the world. The city rapidly began expanding to accommodate the migrants, but even they would soon fall if the monsters were allowed to run around uncontested.
  
  The mayor of Alturas prayed for an answer, anything that will help her and her people push back the evil forces at their gates. The women was granted one in the form of a feat called fusion. With fusion, two people or more can become one. Their powers would be combined and magnified to create a terrifying force that even monsters should fear. But, the idea of fusion is one that has only been recently conceptualized. Due to this the mayor opted to create a college where people can study and train in the art of fusion. That school would later be known as the College of Arcadia, where heros have gathered to unite against the creepy crawlies at their doorstep.

  Hello, thank you for showing interest in this RP. I have always thought that fusion was an cool concept in shows like dragon ball z and steven universe, so I have decided to make a original roleplay solely based on that!
  
  Fusions will adapt the appearance of all of those involved, making written character appearances very useful. But, if you find an image that convincingly looks like what your characters would look combined then feel free to use it! A fusion profile is required when two characters fuse, don't worry, they are very simple. All you require is the appearance and the power description.
  
  A fused character won't simply have both of your powers, instead it will have their own unique power that convincingly will be the result of your characters fusing.
  
  

  • If character A controlled blood and character B manipulated earth, the fusion may be able to turn monsters to stone.
  • If character A controlled fire and character B controlled sand, the fusion might control glass.
  • If character A controlled air and character B controlled light, the fusion might control sound.

  
  Ask people for help in the OOC when creating fusions, so we can come up with some neat ideas. I will request that all base characters powers are simple to make fusing easier! Fusing will expire naturally at some time(up to you), or if either of the participants will it. If they are enemies it will be harder to fuse, if they are lovey-dovey it will be easier. You may also be defused when the plot demands it.

  • Participation in the OOC is a MUST we will get a lot of use out of titan-pad, so get ready to be social.
  • Fusion characters posts will be written together in titanpad, a program that allows multiple people to work on one piece of text. As for personalities of the fused characters it is up to the RPers to decide. It may be a mix of both, or one characters personality may fully consume the other.
  • Characters should be 18+.
  • The technology is a mix of futuristic and medieval.
  • This will be very "anime."
  • If I am not able to understand your base characters power fully in five sentences, then it is too complex.
  • This will be a very involved RP. I want everyone to be invested in it and the story, so please make sure you are 100% interested before participating.
  • Because this is very complex, I will be happy with even a small amount of players, 4, including myself would be enough. If there is more interest then I will be willing to accommodate more people as well, but I will want another GM if there are lots of characters.
