The Widowmaker, Zero
Name: Zero

Alias: The Widowmaker

Age: Unknown, Appears in her 30s

Gender: Female

Country/Origin: Japan, Russia

Hair Color: Black

Eye Color: Cerulean-Green

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Race: Android

Nationality: Japanese-Russian

Appearance: Cream colored skin with immaculate care is crafted from a high caliber silicone, made to withstand normal swipes from a blade. Deep blue eyes shine with a glimmer, a rarely seen light to them coming from their technological origin. Features resemble that of her former life, a young asian woman coming from Tokyo, with onyx hair cut in a short pixie cut that frames her face. Her beauty is youthful for her supposed age, but blends in with the surrounding populace.

Zero stands at 5’2, and weighs 170 pounds. Her figure is lithe and toned, with curves that accentuate her feminine figure, with the woman barely showing any muscle along her body. She appears soft on the outside, with some believing she’s never lifted a weight with how soft she looks.

Personality: Zero is a very inquisitive person, interested in experiencing the world herself rather than being fed information in order to understand something. She’ll be thoughtful enough to ask others if they wish to join her, but truth be told she gets worried of what others will think of her asking. Zero comes off as someone that doesn’t wish to be bothered, but she’s simply someone that listens rather than instigating a conversation, unless asked or needing an opinion on something. She has a talent for listening to others and giving advice if needed, but also likes simply being involved and trusted in others lives. Zero has a tendency to throw back quips and even be sarcastic, a trait she has learned from being around others with the same attitude.

Strengths:
  • Strength: Zero’s strength rivals that of a trained adult male. Being able to lift at least twice her own weight, she is able to pick up and throw bodies, as well as lift large and heavy debris.
  • Fight Training: Her combat skills in hand to hand make her a dangerous adversary, with fast calculated movements and trained precision.
  • Android Body: Zero’s body allows her to bypass normal human problems, such as sickness and fatigue.
  • Knowledge in technology: Being made of technology has its benefits, and having to know how to repair oneself also comes with the territory. Zero has enough knowledge in tech repair to fix herself of any tech issues should they arise, however more problematic issues will require that of an expert.

Weaknesses:
  • Virus and Malware Attacks: Hacking technology is a skill that comes in handy, however the danger of being hacked by enemy technology has become a risk Zero has to think about.
  • Existential Crisis: Zero isn’t a human anymore, and the memories she has of her old life, or lack thereof, have become to consume her. Does being human only pertain to those that still have a human heart?
  • Electromagnetic Shocks: Any form of electromagnetic pulses or shocks can render Zero unconscious for a short amount of time, before she needs to reboot.
History:
In the 1950’s, there existed a Black Widow assassin that had become the top of her class, excelling in the field, and in espionage against the enemy. Originally from Japan, Anya Kujo was a young woman who was forced into the Red Room at a young age, having been taken from her orphanage when she was a small child. While the training was grueling and painful, with many other girls being taken away to never be seen, or killed by her own comrades, Anya lived to tell the tale. Graduating at the best in her class, she began to rise the ranks of the Widows, becoming one of the top assassins to the Red Room program. Designated the “Widowmaker”, Anya soon became a role model to other Widows, helping train the other students that would soon join the ranks; she despised this all however, simply wanting a way to escape.

Through the decades, Anya would continue to work underneath the KGB and the Red Room for the Widow program, assassinating high profile targets for whatever mission she was assigned, unsuspected by the police or authorities no matter where she ran. However, it wasn’t until she was in her 30s, in the year 1963, that Anya decided that enough was enough. With a plan to stop the Red Room, and Dreykov from causing any more harm to young girls, Anya was intercepted by other Widows assigned to stopping her plan, by any means necessary. Hunted down in the heart of Russia, Anya was forcefully brought back to the Red Room, before being killed by Dreykov and the Widows, before the Red Room and Widow Program could be stopped.

However, that didn’t stop Dreykov from enacting another plan to continue using Anya for his benefit.

Codenamed ‘Anastasia’, a secret within the Black Widow project went underway under Dreykov’s instruction, nestled within another secret base of the Red Room. Researching into the methods of science and medicine, technology was used to help preserve the memories of Anya Kujo into a computer chip, while using hacking and other means to create a newly formed artificial intelligence based around the original specimen. With scientists conducting experiments to create a body made from titanium, silicone, and other technological advances, the Red Room successfully created the first ever android Black Widow, based with the consciousness of one of their finest operatives in the past. While the group used the best of their abilities to keep any form of rebellion and memories of their methods from the newly built android, over time the project, numbered designation 01983, or Zero for short, began to ask questions. She had memories and flashes of things she’d never experienced, moments of clarity that would flicker in and out whenever she was rebooted.

As years passed, she would be rebooted, mission after mission, being programmed with new memories that would instill the Red Room’s agenda into her memory. However, the anomaly kept coming back, perhaps a lingering will of who Anya used to be. It wasn’t until a mission went wrong in Budapest that caused Zero’s directive to malfunction, to cease from activating any further instruction when she was tasked with finding and assassinating another widow within the country.

Now, Zero lives a life that is unknowing to her, unsure of what the future holds for her.
