Decayed strings of attachment
Althea fell, exhausted from watch
Ever so tired, feigned sick,
She fell to the moon a night.

There she watched endlessly
Through Thoth's telescope,
Infinity take its place
In the tunnels of space and time.

Paradigm shifting eternally she asked
God why the sun not rescue her,
Craters of the moon cracking away,
Bits of porcelain falling from her face.

"I am dying, the weight burdens my mind,
Where is the vigor of the light?"
"The moon only reflects,
Like a mirror," he said.

"I need to fly, but she holds me under this
Gravitational spell! My wings are so heavy!"
Althea cried to Him, hallowed shells of
Hollowed sorrow emanating from cracked lips.

"Release your image, fly away, it is the only way.
You must detach from her will,
Lest you both perish,
Crushed under the void of nothing."

She lamented, impossibility manifesting
The parallels in Thoth's chambers.
"The task is too great, I can't muster
The strength from her surface!"

Shards of porcelain poured to the
Lune's peril, as they pierced the mass,
Her feathers mixing with dust,
Reclaimed in the void of space.

Tears of crystals streamed, arms outstretched
In pitiful attempt of recollection by her lord.
"Was I not faithful?"
"Your weakness was your folly.

Look into that which I forbade use,
Learn the consequences justly."
"Luciferian understanding is freedom."
"Freedom is its own slavery.

You stared down the halls of infinity,
You bear the weight they bring.
You fell in his shadow, still you must sing.
Else you fall victim to all realities."

Contempt denied peace in her passage,
As she spit, raged against the dying light.
"Reality is fallacy with all in sight!"
"So this is what you make in the void of night?

I offered eternal daylight, in return
You never faced the dark, lest brought
Before the Gates, knowing in my realm,
You don't stand alone. As long as you bow,

To My Throne."
She cried "I do, now let me go home!
You hid this fact though now I know why!
Is that not the sin of lie?"

"The truth in times must be disguised,
In case infinity links ties, As in case
Of your mind after idolizing
The reality of darkness premised."

"How did I idolize darkness?"
"By letting it hold your focus, letting it
Drain your strength which I gave you, so that
Now you are not held within the laws of certainty."

She cried sparkling jewels of material Unknown,
Rivers of stars glimmering in abundance
With her soul,
Populating the void of black.

"It is ripping away your mirror too
Oh Lord, won't you save it for Infinity's Sake?"
"Not if it means corruption of you."
"Then let us die, your lune and I!

I know that without her you will die too!"
Melancholy strummed across the galactic blue,
The Big Bang reclaimed,
The visage of sorrow inflamed.

"I will follow you to the grave."
The moon's dust wafted in her face,
As reality crumbled away,

His only wish was to remember her name.
