This RP picks up 21 years after the TV series. However, I am going to go strictly NON CANON. For those who ARE fans of the show, I have never seen it, but I have researched it a bit.
Die Nebenwelt, the unique device that could transport rare individuals to other timelines, has been shelved as a project given the inability to select specific candidates for travel or retrieve them. But the Nazi leadership had been so impressed that the oil embargo they had had in place against the Japanese as lifted to avoid risk to the project site. During this time the Japanese have had time to improve their nuclear program closing the gap in the Arms Race.
For those who have never read the book, watched the TV series, the video above shows the history of WWII and through to 1962. In short, Germany and Japan came out on top. The US has been divided between the two empires with a neutral zone down the middle.
I plan to have my character(s) start in the Neutral Zone, probably in Albuquerque, NM. Might change this a bit. But I may have 2-3 concurrent scenes - ideally one in Reich controlled territory, one in Japanese controlled, and one in Neutral ground but only if we have a decent group.
