Oliver had noticed the the reassuring look he was given by November and he simply nodded his head. He glanced down at the crumpled map being held in his hands. 'So that's where it went... Figures... Don't get worked up over it though, it's not that big of a deal.' He though to himself, uncrumpling the map a bit and putting it in his pocket. He was partially indifferent about having to go... Escort someone it sounded like? Though he wouldn't say it aloud. He glanced over at Selina when she said they left right now. He quietly sighed to himself and pushed himself off the wall. 'This sounds like it's going to be trouble...' He thought running a hand through his hair.

November nodded towards Selina and finished her coffee with one last long sip. "Well we'll be on our way then. Unless you wanted to grab something beforehand?" She asked, turning her gaze to Oliver again. "If not, then we should find wherever Cain went and meet up with the person we're escorting. Who's... Location I have no idea. Boss?" She asked, smiling apologetically. "Forgot to ask. Is it just the default meet at the gates?"

Jack gave his right eyebrow a raise,

"Uhuh.."

He clearly got what Shin was attempting and he couldn't be bothered to keep the chain going any longer.

"Bah, show-off... I spent all my time here in that nerdhole - whatta ya expect..."

This time oddly, not smiling as much,

"Eh, I can take a beating or two... Your victory is imminent but whatever..."

A mood swing can be felt creeping in from the distance as Jack's facial expression remained not-as-cheerful.

November nodded in understanding and awaited Oliver just outside the office. She would assume he didn't have anything to bring along, though she wanted to make sure. She'd feel bad if they ended up showing up for the mission with Oliver remaining weaponless - she wasn't sure if he could make one of his Threads. She leaned her back against the wall beside the door, cracking her knuckles and neck casually.

Oliver left the office soon after November had, closing the door behind him. He glanced up at the taller female, then over at Cain, who was stretching a little ways away. "I'm ready when you are." He said, directing his words towards November. He then put one of his hands in his jacket pocket and started picking at his nail, biting the inside of his lip. It didn't look like it, but he was actually pretty nervous, though he was doing his best to surpress it. He had no idea who he was suppose to 'escort', Cain seemed to really dislike him for whatever reason, and he had no idea what they were in for.

Cain walked over to November, done with his stretching. "Lets get this done, yeah?" He was a little excited to be going out on his first mission, but he remained externally calm. Hopefully he'd be able to learn more about his squad while they were out escorting whoever it was they needed to escort. "So where are we headed Miss November?" He asked.

@Umbra Regalia@JayKuro

November smiled at the two and nodded to herself. "Alright, so we're supposed to meet the "client" at the old church in town, if you guys aren't too familiar with the city it's close to the walls just east of here." She wasn't the most comfortable entering the supposed slums of the city, though getting close to the wall areas of Toronto was part of the mission so she had absolutely no choice. She led them out of the building and off towards the city, sticking to the quieter areas rather than cutting through the downtown area. On route, she decided to speak up and ask a question that's been worrying her a substantial amount. "Do either of you know how to make a weapon out of your Threads? You two get any training before this?"

@Tetro@JayKuro

Oliver knew the town pretty well, though he wasn't born in it and hadn't spent all that much time in it. He followed November a few steps behind her and looked around keeping alert putting both his hands in his pockets. He was actually glad that they were sticking to the quitter areas, as he didn't want to deal with a lot of noise at the moment, as it always made his blood boil. "I know how to make a few weapons out of my threads, and I've had a bit of training before this." He said answering November's question.

@Umbra Regalia @Tetro

"That's good, means I won't have to special-make some weapons for you guys," she said with a cheeky wink to the cloudy haired other. "And you, Cain?" She asked, looking back at the other Weaver she had been assigned to bring along. She hoped he knew at least a tiny bit, desperately wishing that this man had at least felt what it's like to form something out of Threads. Otherwise, they might only be good as a scout for Reapers. Though, had the man even seen a Reaper before? She knew nothing but their names, and hoped she wouldn't have to jump in between them and an attack too often - though, she wasn't entirely opposed to showing off how cool she could be in combat.

@JayKuro@Tetro

"I know how to make a very basic weapon out of my threads. I know how to use my threads themselves as weapons well enough too. The longer I fight the easier it is for me to use them. All of my training took place in a lab. Lets leave it at that." He responded. He didn't want to let them know too much about his core. Not yet at least. Cain stayed quiet and kept his gaze mostly on November's face as they walked. He bet they were squishy. They looked like it. Every once in a while though he would glance around to make sure nothing snuck up on them. He had been followed enough times in his life to know if anything were to start tailing them. He knew they would be attacked at least once while on this mission.

Grim was about to respond to Amy when she brought up they was one more member of the squad missing. He listened to her and his squad leader talk about the other girl. He looked back to Amy and nodded gesturing her to lead the way. He wondered what this other squad member would be like, so far he was pretty happy with the first two hes met.

Oliver glanced around every so often, keeps his eyes open for anything that look suspicious. Well, suspicious meaning it would actually involve him and the rest of the squad. It wasn't that he didn't care about the safety of others, he wouldn't have gotten a core planted in him if he didn't. It was simply because he didn't want to get involved and make things worse, which was usually the case.

He had only been half listening to what Cain had said, zoning in and out, picking up bits and pieces, though he got the important parts.

@Tetro @Umbra Regalia

Amy nodded and grabbed Grim's hand, guiding him through the halls. She took walked back to the place she last saw the girl hoping she was still there. "Oh I hope she's okay. She seemed so scared earlier." She finally made it to the hall and found her past out on the ground. Amy let go of Grim and quickly ran over to her. She tapped the girl and slightly shook her. "Hey are you okay? Dou you need a doctor?" she asked her words sounded slightly jumbled. "Grim go find the squad leader tell him there's an emergency." She said frantically before looking back at the girl

Emily opened her eyes reluctantly. She was so confused. Where was she? What happened? Who was shaking her? "Im.. im.... awake.." she said weakly.

Grim held Amy's hand as she walked him though the hall. He was about to ask who they where looking for when they found her pasted out on the ground ''Uhhh'' Amy then told him to get the squad leader quietly witch he was about to when she suddenly woke up. Grim walked to Amy and looked to the girl on the ground.

"THANK GOODNESS!" she squealed hugging the girl. She pulled away slightly blushing. "I'm sorry that must've been awkward." She said looking at Grim and then back to the girl. "Do you feel okay? Dizzy, sick, thirsty... anything?"

Grim sorta just scratched his head wondering what was going on he tried to ask ''Uhhh are you...'' But before he could ask Amy already did, he looked at the girl sobbing. ''Do you uh...need..uh'' He just stood there awkwardly.

Jae, who had been silent all this time finaly spoke up. "You are an idiot... your bravado will get one of us hurt or killed in a battle.... if that happenes... I don't care how much bigger you are than me.... I don't care how much more skilled you are... I will beat you into a scared little pulp..."

@Umbra Regalia @Mykinkaiser @MatTamMax

Revnoir simply rolled his eyes and sighed, picking up everyone's papers and setting them neatly beside his computer keyboard. He stood up straight and stretched before he yawned loudly. "You know... You nerds ended up fighting those simulated Reapers in your nerd cave, while we actual Weavers went out and fought real Reapers. I've tried the simulations and it's clunky, their movements are much more predictable than the real ones and they're waaaay more flexible than that. Someone needs to fix that thing, seriously..." He cracked his neck, the bags under his eyes becoming much more noticeable as he leaned closer to the screen to type something up quickly. "Though, if you want to prove you guys are decent at fighting, why don't we try something? I'll be your opponent, sound good?" He asked, glancing upwards towards the three. "If you're too tired don't worry, I won't think of you as a party pooper. I'll just think of you as weak."

@Mykinkaiser@Aurath Moonblood@MatTamMax

"I'm in sir...." Said Jae. "I am sure that you will win but I could stand to learn a few things."

NAME: MATSUDA SHIN
LOCATION: WEAVE BASE - SQUADROOM 3

Shin ignored the overt hostility and rather unrealistic words of the white-haired man in favor of focusing on what Revnoir was saying. "And here you had me thinking you were a boring guy Bossman," he replied, his unrestrained eagerness to fight practically oozing out of every pore as he got up from his chair and walked over to the other man, his left hand resting on the hilt of his ever-present sword. Truth was that Revnoirs provocation had had no real effect on Shin in that the shorter man didn't care much about winning or losing, or how other people thought of him for that matter. Instead, he was just excited for the chance to fight someone strong. It was really as simple as that.

(OOC: Sorry for the delay, things have been hectic for me irl)
