Amy let out a laugh and shook her head. "No way! If I was the squad leader we would be dead for sure." She glances up at the mask faced man then back at Grim. She let go if his hand, still keeping a soft smile.  "Grim, huh, nice name. What is your thread?" Her smile fades for a moment before looking up her squad leader. "Hey there was another girl that was suppose to be with us. I'm not sure where she is but she should be here by now. Should we go look for her?" she says a look of concern on her face.

@Cheesemick @Umbra Regalia

He didn't say a word, and instead just moved his gaze between Amy and Grim in turn. His arms crossed across his chest before he nodded subtly in reply to Amy's question. It took a moment, but he finally spoke up. "You two should, I'll stay here in case they're late," he said in a fairly monotonous tone. He was a little concerned too but much less than the recruits - he knew she would be safe if she were within the base and every recruit filed to be arriving today had checked into the building. Thus, she would be perfectly fine. If her Core had failed there would surely be someone there to find her and bring her to the Med Bay for surgery and seeing as he was stationed right next to said Med Bay, he could testify that her Core was fine and had not failed.

Revnoir glanced up at the man with an uninterested look for a brief moment before that look turned into one of exhaustion. It was only just now showing that he wasn't too thrilled about getting three new recruits. Often he would just get one or two, but three was somehow a much larger step. Now that his other Weavers had either been transferred out, or suffered a fate worse than that (though some might consider it a lot better than living in this screwed up place). He pulled the envelope the guy was talking about from his little file organizer at the foot of his desk and handed it to him. "You're lucky John didn't fuck this up, else this envelope might not have even been in the country right now," he grumbled as he offered the guy his chair - the only other chairs near the desk being the two in front of it taken by the other two recruits. He figured he would just stand, something he was pretty used to now. Most missions were spent on his feet anyway.

A quick flashback snapped Jack once again out of his head. He muttered loud enough to radiate his apparent disappointment - you can't blame him though,

"Ehn... Paperworks?"

He was reminded of the very first time he made his way into the research and development field where he had to start off doing most of the paperworks... God, the terror... Regardless, he remained standing and casually took the papers from Revnoir ere constructing a stand to write on with his metal thread. Liquid-like metal spewed out of the hole left glove and quickly shaped into the aforementioned stand.

"Don't worry, it didn't ruin your carpet,"

Jack chuckled; not laughing at his own joke withal, it was his nature (or at least when he's in a good mood...)

Shin had hoped that the newcomer in the metal suit would have done something interesting, but alas, he was just given paperwork to do like everyone else. That being said, he did use his threads to make a stand to do it on, which was interesting... sort of... not really... Either way, Shin was bored, and his boredom was getting worse by the second. Setting his completed paperwork aside he shifted in his seat so as to be lying on it with his legs hooked over the back and his head hanging over upside down. "Yo bossman," he called in an impatient tone, obviously talking to Revnoir, "We going out to kill shit soon? Or are we just gonna hang out here and do each other's hair?" He then looked over at the newcomer once again before speaking up once more, mockery creeping into his voice, "Though the latter might be hard with the suited wonder over there."

Revnoir looked over at Shin with a sharp frown and a disgusted look on his face. "You think you're able to kill shit? I doubt any of you can even dent a defenseless Grunt's Core, so how about you shut the fuck up, sit there quietly and be a decent little fuck?" He wasn't too happy about what the guy thought he could do. Most recruits, and even transfers didn't even know much about Reaper types, all they knew were Grunts and maybe if he were lucky they'd know about Elites. Nobles were rarely seen anywhere outside of Canada, meaning if a newcomer to the base were sent out on a mission there was a possibility that they would run into the things and get their asses handed to them. "The only shit you're gonna kill any time soon will probably be mock Reapers in the training room," he grumbled, crossing his arms tightly and grinding his teeth - a habit that wasn't originally his.

Jack couldn't help himself but burst out with laughter once again. He placed his finished papers on Revnoir's desk sloppily whilst laughing,

"AHAHAHAHAHAhahahaha...hah... You'd be surprised by how we nerds back at the lab can defend ourselves. We all possessed special weaves that were unique to each of us. Hell, we had our own combat simulator room and all that!"

In response to Shin's wisecrack attempt, Jack simply smirked,

"Ehn, nice try cupcake."

"Ooo, cupcake? Can I be vanilla with sprinkles?" Shin asked the suited man, his mocking grin growing even wider, before turning to Revnoir again. "And bossman, you're really gonna hurt my feelings if you say mean things like that," he said, his tone and expression making it very clear that his feelings were far from hurt, "Plus, training room reapers are boring, no fun at all to kill y'know? They still can't make them feel real enough." Shin then looked back over at the suited man, "Yo nerdboy, you said you were from the lab? Can you make the mock reapers actually entertaining to fight? Whenever I go down there it just feels like I'm grinding in a shitty MMO and it sucks ass."

Theoretically, once Revnoir read Shin's file he'd revise his opinion on him, though not necessarily for the better. The truth was that Shin knew very well how to kill shit and he was very able to do it. He just had other problems...

Jae, who had been silent all this time finaly spoke up. "You are an idiot... your bravado will get one of us hurt or killed in a battle.... if that happenes... I don't care how much bigger you are than me.... I don't care how much more skilled you are... I will beat you into a scared little pulp..."

@Umbra Regalia @Mykinkaiser @MatTamMax

Revnoir simply rolled his eyes and sighed, picking up everyone's papers and setting them neatly beside his computer keyboard. He stood up straight and stretched before he yawned loudly. "You know... You nerds ended up fighting those simulated Reapers in your nerd cave, while we actual Weavers went out and fought real Reapers. I've tried the simulations and it's clunky, their movements are much more predictable than the real ones and they're waaaay more flexible than that. Someone needs to fix that thing, seriously..." He cracked his neck, the bags under his eyes becoming much more noticeable as he leaned closer to the screen to type something up quickly. "Though, if you want to prove you guys are decent at fighting, why don't we try something? I'll be your opponent, sound good?" He asked, glancing upwards towards the three. "If you're too tired don't worry, I won't think of you as a party pooper. I'll just think of you as weak."

@Mykinkaiser@Aurath Moonblood@MatTamMax

Selina sat at her desk, typing away on her computer. She paused to take a sip of coffee. As she did, she jumped. She had seen a black figure in her doorway.... it was just her mind playing tricks on her but it reminded her of a few important things that need to be taken care of. She pressed the mic button on the intercom system and spoke into it. "Squad four, report to my office immediately. I repeat, Squad 4 to my office immediately."

Cain found it odd how silent Oliver had become but shrugged it off. At hearing Selina's voice call the squad to her office he made his way there immediately. Cain nudged Mason as he left, snagging Oliver's map and keeping it for himself as he walked down the hall with an extra bit of speed in his step. Cain arrived at Selina's office, opening the door and walking in, closing the door behind him. "Mason is on his way I think. I don't know about Oliver though... Or care." He blinked at her.

November had been relaxing quietly in the barracks for some time now and before the intercom's message she planned on staying there the rest of the night. Having finished her daily training routine, her day was now to be spent however she liked, and she liked the bed's comfort plenty. Though, said comfort was interrupted by the orders to report to the Squad 4 office immediately, earning a tired grumble from the silver haired woman and a grunt as she hoisted herself off the bed. She lazily dragged herself through the hallways until she finally knocked on the door to the office. She, as usual, let herself in and peeked inside to make sure there wasn't anything kinky going on inside. She saw one man and one woman, not the best start to this journey of proving that Selina wasn't doing the kinky kinky in her office. Though, when she realized they were more than a foot apart she calmed down a bit and stepped inside. "I'm here, ma'am," she said with a pep in her voice. She gave a nod to Cain and a smile accompanied it.

@Aurath Moonblood@Tetro

"Good." Selina said quietly. "While we wait for the others to get here, coffee anyone?" She asked, pouring herself another cup. She honnestly didn't know why coffee was such a tasty beverage to her. Befor the core implant she hated coffee. All she realy knew is that almost everyone with a core liked it. For a moment, she pondered weather reapers like coffee, befor her thoughts were pulled back to reality.

November happily raised her hand and walked over to help herself. She grabbed one of the mugs the Weaver kept next to the coffee maker and poured herself a cup of the deep brown liquid. Black coffee, just as she enjoyed it normally. Selina and her were close enough for her to just help herself when it came to coffee, but the obsidian eyed Weaver still always waited for the girl to offer before she did anything like it. "So, did we get a mission to go on? Did we?" She admittedly was pretty excited to finally get another mission to go on, having trained every single day for almost two weeks now.

@Aurath Moonblood

Cain shook his head, "Caffeine makes my core make me unstable." He declined. He gave November an odd look when she smiled at him. Anything more than general politeness was something Cain wasn't used to. It made him feel... weird. Like his fire threads were forming inside of him. Even his cheeks felt warm. This girl was oddly happy... It made him uncomfortable. He turned back to Selina, "Is it a mission? If it is, depending on the severity I think we could handle it ourselves. Besides the others didn't seem very... keen on activity." He blinked. Cain looked at November, "My name is Cain by the way, what is yours?"

@Umbra Regalia@Aurath Moonblood(Neither of them have responded for... days. >.> I don't wanna risk waiting another few days, unless someone has heard from them or something?)

"As a matter of fact, November, I want you to take Cain here and go to the city. I'm assigning you both to an escort misssion. Standard procedure. Keep the man alive. He is going out to look at old ruins or something I think? I'm not realy sure. Some sort of scientific crap." Selina said, sounding pretty bored of the idea. @Umbra Regalia @Tetro

November looked at Cain again, this time bringing the mug of coffee up to her lips and drinking before speaking. "November. It's nice to meet you, Cain." When Selina explained why they were called in, she smiled widely and let out a chuckle. "Escort, huh? Never could get used to them calling it that, sounds like I'm some sort of prostitute," she said while looking at the Squad Leader. Her gaze switched to Cain as she mentioned who she would be going with, her smile never fading even slightly. She was fine with going out on a mission with him, especially since it was an escort mission. Easier than a recon mission, but harder than sitting around and sipping coffee. "Just us two? Or are you coming along with?" She asked, wiggling her eyebrows to deepen the joke she was trying to make.

(We'll do our best to get things up and active again. Sorry ^^" @Tetro)

@JayKuro@Aurath Moonblood@ProRPer

(Omg! I'm so sorry, I haven't been getting any notifications. I'll try to catch back up again, unless it's too late and I have to drop out???)

Oliver glanced around, he had zoned out and when he zoned back in his map was gone as well as Cain. He tried to remember what had happened when he had zoned out and only remembered Selina tell squad four to report to her office. That was a few minutes ago. He quickly stood up and walked out the room, retracing his steps back to Selina's office. When he got there he opened the door and saw that there were already people inside, and from the looks of it he was late... Very late. He closed the door behind him and leaned against the wall the same apathetic look on his face. "Sorry I'm late." He said simply, though he didn't sound all that sorry, as his voice was quite monotone.

@Umbra Regalia @Tetro @Aurath Moonblood

"Wouldn't be the first time someone's tried to make a prostitute out of me." Cain bluntly stated after November added the last bit to her joke. "I think we should leave as soon as possible." He said to Selina. He turned to see Oliver walk in. "Not as sorry as I am." He responded to Oliver's half-hearted apology, taking out his map and looking it over. "Two will work just fine, any more than that and we might risk attracting attention." He looked up at Selina. After he got a good memorization of the map he put it back in his pocket. "So when do we leave?"

@Aurath Moonblood@Umbra Regalia@JayKuro

"Well I never knew what you guys were suppose to do so go ahead and count me out." He said not even glancing over at Cain. He could tell he wasn't like by the guy, and that he most likely interrupted something. He wouldn't intentionally anger him, though even with him being "nice" he seemed to anger people. He was told it was because he was always so expressionless, though at this point he couldn't change, even if he wanted to, though he really couldn't care if he held expressions or not.

@Tetro

November looked at Cain with raised eyebrows in surprise at his reply to her joke. She was speechless, so she turned to just readjusting the smile on her lips and sipping contently at her coffee. "So, uh, Selina... Do you think we should take the third guy with us? I'm fine with a third person, though Cain did bring up the fact that it's a little much for a ruins escort mission. But, I mean, just in case right?" She said with a shrug of her shoulders and a sideways glance to the albino who had entered the room a moment before. "Your choice, boss."

@Aurath Moonblood@JayKuro@Tetro

Selina sipped at her coffee for a moment while she thought. "November, I don't think you fully grasp the true purpose of this mission. I want YOU to lead these rookies. This is an Escort mission first, and an evaluation of your skill and potential second. I have realized that I won't be around forever. And I'm not alway readily available to the squad. I need an assistant SL. You show potential, but this will tell me if your ready or not. And you are to take both of these rookies." She said, leaning back in her chair and waiting for their responses. @JayKuro  @Umbra Regalia @Tetro

The charcoal eyed girl stared at her for a long moment, eyed wide. "Ah, well uh... Okay then. I'm flattered you think I'm good enough for that sort of thing, but alright." For the second time in barely a minute she was speechless. A little embarrassed too for some reason. "So... We're taking both, huh? Alright then, when exactly do we leave?" She asked, giving Oliver a reassuring look, having noticed he seemed a little unsure whether or not he was even welcome.

@Aurath Moonblood@Tetro@JayKuro

"Maybe I'll find a violin while we're out." Cain shrugged. He stared at their cups of coffee, keeping his head straight while his eyes moved. He wanted to drink some very badly but resisted. "I'll be waiting outside, I have to stretch before I do outdoor stuff." He excused himself, handing Oliver his map back in a partially crumpled ball. He closed the door behind himself and stood outside of the office. Cain stepped off to the side and started stretching, trying to keep his mind off of the coffee. He hummed quietly to himself, "An escort... How exciting." He yawned as he stretched more. "Gonna put my fancy core to use."
