Viendra is not one for combat but she does bring with her a basic survival knife just in case something does come up.
Armor:
While traveling, or in combat, Vinny opts to wear heavier leather and fur to survive in the elements. The leather is thick enough to stop projectiles, such as arrows or darts, but is defenseless from swords and other slashing weapons.
Skills/Abilities:
Alchemy-
On top of being a herbalist, Viendra also dabbles in alchemy. She is capable of creating a multitude of tonics and potions for different situations, imbuing perishables with additional properties, and create different medical usable (such as powders). This talent is usually combined with her knowledge as a herbalist.
Herbalist-
As a herbalist, Vinny has encyclopedic knowledge on all aspects of plant life. Habitats, names, descriptions, usage, appearance, etc... This knowledge extends to all form of plant life. Flowers, berries, nuts, trees, etc...
Mother-
Due to her past experiences Vinny excels at home ec. Cooking, cleaning, nutrition, personal health, finances, clothing, quelling fights, etc... She's great at providing and knowing just what to do.
Thanatonaut
Thanks to her job as a Thanatonaut Viendra has gained a boon from Noctis himself. Just like her fellow Thanatonaut's she has a certain control over the process of death. As a Thanatonaut she has the ability to bring back the recently deceased, time limits differ from person to person, and heal their body of any major wounds they might have suffered. Additionally, she may induce a state of pseudo-death onto willing volunteers and can act as a beacon for her fellow explorers during this time. However, these powers do have their drawbacks. For starters each time she uses one of her powers it drains her life force. She may also drain the life force of other living beings around her. She has control over this power but when taxed this power naturally occurs and she will have no control over it.

When not traveling, or just lounging about in daily life, Viendra wears a black skirt wrap with a thick scarf-like belt tied around her waist, a light gray crop top tank top with a black shoulder-less, long-sleeved crop top with flared sleeves and gold bands around the biceps. A flowery butterfly looking design or whatever on the top and a swirl design at the edge of her scarf belt. Additionally, she wears brown boots to keep feet protected while offering comfort when moving around.

Personality:
Vinny is an intellectual woman who loves to learn more about the world around her. Above everything else, she is a scholar. She craves knowledge of any kind and is willing to learn about any subject one could think of. She's naturally curious about both those around her and her surroundings. Always observing those around her, always questioning what she sees and what she is told, never taking anything at face value. This is a prevalent trait with her as she does not hesitate when it comes to studying or learning. However, her desire for knowledge goes above and beyond the normal scholar mentality and instead is more of a twisted obsession, to the point that it is a morbid addiction. This is reflected in her work as a thanatonaut, a practice of self-suicide for knowledge, as she openly sacrifices everything she has on a daily basis to gain what she wants. She has had no problem sacrificing nearly anything just to learn more. The one thing she is not willing to sacrifice for the sake of knowledge, however, is the safety and well-being of those around her. This concept has never crossed her mind once nor will it ever cross her mind.
Her morbid tendencies go deeper than her addiction to knowledge however as on top of being addicted to knowledge she is also addicted to dying, having experienced it hundreds if not thousands of times. Vinny loves the rush of adrenaline each time she dies and loves the bizarre nature of what occurs after each of her deaths. Additionally, over the years, she has developed a twisted view on life as her morals have been somewhat been perverted. Yes, she does believe in peace and good over violence and evil however, she is not opposed to using the latter to achieve the former. She has no qualms with sacrifice, death, or violence to further achieve her goals and beliefs.
Despite her somewhat morbid tendencies, Viendra is an overall kind-hearted person. She is kind and compassionate to all those around her, wanting only the best for each and every person. Vinny will go out of her way to make sure her family is well off and happy, willing to bend over backwards just to provide whatever she can. She treats everyone with the same amount of respect, even those that are disrespectful, and believes in the good of each individual. Even going as far as believing in those thought irredeemable by the rest of the world She's not exactly a leader in action or adventure but she is a leader in everyday life and practical matters. Quelling fights, providing comfort, making meals, making sure people are taking care of themselves, etc.. Some may view her as bossy but she likes to think herself more of a second mother. She considers her friends and allies as her own family and will provide and protect them just as she would a real family.

History:
Viendra was born to a moderately wealthy family in Jubliee, her family consisting of mostly scholars and well respected inviduals of society. From an early age Vinny proved to be different then the rest of the children in her city. She was seclusive from the rest of the children, along with being weaker then the rest of them, spending most of her time quietly studying away. She had a fascination with the natural life. More specifically the death of life. Most of her studying and learning took place in the gardens of her home in her younger years, taking a eery fascination with the cycle of life and death and what secrets death keeps. She also learned a great deal about herbs and plant life, learning the trade of being a herbalist from her grandmother when her mother was away at work. Despite her creepy fascination with death Vinny grew up as a well behaved and loving child, always being eager to learn from her parents and always respecting and loving everyone. She lead a, relatively, normal life.
As she grew up she learned way more then a normal education and learned more then the expectations of other children around her. Herbalism and Alchemy were her strong suits, learning from her parents trade, but she also learned how to cook, clean, sow, personal health, nutrution, finaces, and other skills needed to help take of and provide from herself and her family. However as she grew so did her fascination with death and the occult. This fascination lead her to the Thanatonaut's and their practice of embracing death.
It started off as a curiousity after hearing about them around Jubliee. She would begin to ask her parents questions about these people and what they do. This worried her parents but decided not to bar her from learning about them as they saw no harm in it. Her curiousity soon caused her to visit their hall in her home town and soon became a student of Thanatonautics after watching and listening to their studies and practices. She secretly studied and learned from the order whenevr she could. Borrow books, attending lectures and practices. Soon though she went from studying under them to practicing with them. Her first psuedo-death experience happened at the age of 14, and what she experienced then changed her perspective of the world entirely. As she continued to enter and exsit this state of death her mind and views began to change, warp even by some opinions. This was kept secret from her parents but they did notice her attitude and appearance changing, until one day they found out. At age 16 she had participated in her first death, a memory she still dwells on foundly, and her parents found out about her practices. At first they were mad, disturbed, and ultimately saddened by her decisions and her lies. For the longest while they forbid her from continuing on with the practice and looked down on her for doing so. However, after a few years they came to accept this as being who Vinny was and ultimately allowed her to continue on this path of her choice.
Once she turned 18 she became a official member of the Thanatonatuics practice, specifically the Star Order, and took her oaths and pacts to Noctris. Since then she has been a productive member of not only the order, but of society and her family. Just like her fellow explorers she continued on with the practice of knowledge through death and began to learn the secrets hidden away from the world. She has made a few discoveries in her own fields, Herbalism and Alchemy, that has helped her further her small family business. She has even traveled with her order to other cities in order to learn more about the world and her order. Now she works with her mother and father in Yolyam's House of Healing, a small store ran by her family, and travels to acquire new merchandise to use in their store.
