Mick has a hard time controlling his temper. His anger tends to blaze out before he can think through his problems. His "action before thought" mentality has gotten him into trouble on more than one occasion.

-Unhelpful
In a tight situation, he tends to think of himself first. It's not that he doesn't care for others, it's just that his first instinct is to protect himself. His own preservation instinct overrides everything else in his mind when he's in danger.

-Emotional
He is far too much of a "let your emotions run you" type of person. He definitely goes heart over head every time, and his heart isn't the best desicion maker. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and there isn't much protection for it out in the environment like that.

He's very good at taking care of himself. He's very self-reliant, and rarely needs others to help him. He's proficient at problem solving, and add to that basic common sense, and you get the ability to be a unit by himself.

Mick loves learning new things. He often falls down rabbit holes of research, imbibing as much knowledge on a subject as he can. Especially now with his new powers, he wants to know as much as possible so he has a better chance of controlling them.

By all accounts and purposes, Mick had a great life as a child. The little family of three lived in their small yellow house surrounded by a large yard and a white picket fence. This perfect image was shattered, however, when his mother left with another man when Mick was only six years old. His father did his best to pick up the slack, but it was physically impossible to be two people at once. He was absent for a lot of Mick's childhood, working long hours to provide for his son. Mick had gone from having two parents to having none in the blink of an eye.

When he started school, his teachers were pleased with his active curiosity and open mind. However, as he grew older, these aspects of his personality were hidden behind a rebellious teenage front. Suddenly, Mick turned into a sullen boy, who was mad all the time. Mad at his friends, who he felt should be more supportive of him; mad at his teachers, who kept pushing him seemingly past his own limits; mad at his father, who had virtually abandoned his son "for his own good;" and above all, mad at his mother, who he felt was the cause of the ruination of his life.

Mick is able to call storms. By condensing the water that is already in the air, he essentially pulls it down from the sky to him. He can somewhat control the size, direction, and velocity of the raindrops.

    Yuri is a bottle of sunshine just waiting to be opened. An encounter with him is usually like a breath of fresh air. He is always singing and moseying along trying to make others happy. To say he is a people pleaser would be accurate in a way, but he has learned not to allow him to fall under. When upset, Yuri tries to stay away from people. He will shelter his peace as best he can with isolation. Yuri suffers from mild bipolar mood swings. Some days he has wonderful highs and on other days he will resist being seen in public. If angered, Yuri can explode, though he often doesn't choose violence, he will finish any altercation he happens to find himself in.

Robin is a naive, sheltered kid that has become dependent on his parents for everything. He needs to be told what to do and for others to make the hard decisions, because he's used to being taken extreme care of. Robin's the total opposite of the typical teenager that drinks, smokes and has sex shown in movies and TV, as he never goes to parties, he's strictly prohibited from drinking and smoking, and believes he will remain a virgin for the duration of his life.

The boy struggles to be normal, wanting to experience the hardship that all people must go through to grow as individuals. He yearns to be free of the protection of his parents, ignorant that this will most likely involve him getting hurt, the thing that he hates the most.

Robin can be quite the coward and someone who will give up on trying as soon as it gets difficult. Which makes him a burden for those determined, eager peers that have their stuff together and Robin hates being a burden, often getting frustrated at himself for everything he lacks and wishing to become something else. A little breeze of air that can run away from its problems.

He's outdated in most recent things, because his parents don't allow him to have social media, and this further alienates him from his same-age classmates. To compensate, Robin is enthusiastic about all things, trying his best at socializing even if he usually comes off as desperate and obnoxious. He takes any opportunity he can to dip into the depths of teenagehood.

People find him to be goofy but not in a class clown kind of way, simply foolish and generally clumsy. He's an outlier through no choice of his own and an average student that only shines when it comes to math, which doesn't make him any more popular. Some have intimidated or manipulated Robin into doing their homework for them, defining him as the common spineless loser among bullies.

Contrary to what his reputation might indicate, he's not an impeccable, nerdy, math machine. Robin's a fidgety, twitchy guy who always makes a mess of his workplace, can't sit still for more than five minutes at a time and is happy to try his hand at any sport as long as it's not played in a competitive manner.

The boy is rattled pretty easily, often using humor as a coping mechanism and trying to defuse the tension at all times since he gets overwhelmed when things become grave and tense. It takes a lot to get him mad and he can withstand being mocked, insulted and stepped on thanks to his passive, patient nature. But when he reaches his limit, it is a sight to behold.

Likes.
  • Videogames were his salvation from boredom ever since he got admitted into a hospital for the first time. He has become attached to the medium and owns a large collection of videogames of all kinds of genres, including limited editions of great value. He wonders if it's his parents' guilt which makes them buy all those games for him.
  • Fresh environments. He likes the sensation of his nostrils being filled with pure, slightly cold air and the caress of the wind's breath against his cheeks.
  • Growing up while not allowed to eat sweets has its consequences and one of them is getting fixated on their delicious taste on the few instances you have eaten them. This is Robin's case. Now he stuffs his face every time he gets the chance to consume pastries. In the same vein, he gets a thrill out of eating junk food.
  • Robin's passionate about learning languages to fill his abundant free time. He's studying Spanish and Japanese online with varying degrees of success.
  • The boy enjoys puzzles, sudoku, watching documentaries of true crime and reading non-fiction novels.
  • He likes surfing the internet for conspiracy theories, discussing in forums and sharing some of his own.
Dislikes.
  • Hospitals are familiar to him but this doesn't mean he likes them. His skin itches when near a hospital as if he's gonna break into hives.
  • Robin truly doesn't get the appeal of liberal arts, as they frustrate him and make him feel like he's interpreted it all wrong. Most specifically he dislikes poetry.
  • The sun weakens him and brings his mood down, because he breathes the worst when the air is thick due to high heat levels. He's often found lounging around like a lazy cat on days like those.
  • Robin abhors fighting and violence, mainly when it involves him. He would hate to harm someone by accident, but he would absolutely not be capable of hurting someone on purpose. Maybe, just maybe, if it's for a good enough reason.
  • Spiritual matters, like religion and horoscopes. He doesn't believe one bit on that stuff and he's skeptical of most supernatural, fantastic and divine elements, thinking of them as absurd.
  • Robin hates when people ignore him or keep him out of the loop purposefully, which links to his hate of being lied to.
Fears.
  • He's afraid of making his parents mad or disappointed. Regardless of their defects, Robin still loves them and believes they are not entirely wrong about all the dangers found in the outside world, that they're just trying their best to take care of him.
  • Robin is scared of most animals, because his parents conditioned him to be wary of them and they showed him a million news stories about animal attacks to stop him from trying to pet random dogs and cats in the street.
  • Robin is just human, so getting physically hurt and pain are big factors that reign over his life decisions and actions. He will avoid situations that could get him injured and If there's a certainty he'll get hurt by doing something, then he won't do it. His pain tolerance, though, is surprisingly higher than the average person, as he's used to hurting because of his heart condition.
  • Drowning and being buried alive are recurring scenarios in his nightmares.
Extras.
  • He suffers from a chronic asthma that flares up from time to time, which is why he always carries his inhaler in the pocket of his jeans anywhere he goes.
  • His parents stopped hugging him and playing with him when his CHD was found, instead treating him like he's made of crystal. This treatment continues up to this day and he values people who can be playful around him, not fretting over him or pitying him.
  • Robin doesn't know how to do the most basic tasks, including how to cook for himself, take the bus and wash his own clothes.
  • The boy is clumsy. He trips all the time and his coordination and sense of rhythm are bad, making him sloppy at dancing, football and other activities.

Robin's parents could be described as a lovey-dovey couple that are the perfect cliché. Childhood friends, then highschool sweethearts, then perfect marriage. They were planning to be the best parents, too, but it proved to be difficult after going through two emotionally devastating miscarriages, with no sign of anything changing in the near future.

That is, until Robin's mother got pregnant with him. Dubbed the miracle child by his parents because of it, his conception felt like destiny's work and his birth was a smooth sailing. The couple was overjoyed and they focused all their love and attention on their son, who basked in it. For a while, they truly were the ideal family.

When Robin turned four years old, the issues began. It wasn't an external element that ruined them, like a natural disaster or the collapse of the dollar. No, Robin's own body started failing him and he showed heavy breathing problems that didn't look natural in an inherently energetic little kid. His parents were alarmed and brought him to the hospital just to be given the mortifying news that their son suffered from a congenital heart disease. It absolutely rocked their world and brought up past fears that had been buried.

A painstaking process of surgeries and recovery ensued. Robin's parents were thrusted into the role of caregivers in a completely different way than most parents, becoming overly preoccupied with the well-being of their son now that a reminder of what they could lose loomed upon them.

Yet once everything was said and done and Robin found himself incredibly healthy apart from a chronic asthma that would come to bother him in the long run but for a seven year old wasn't an impediment, his parents stayed exactly the same. They adhered to the nurse-patient mentality and watched over Robin like a hawk, establishing strict rules and deterring the child from doing things by himself, all for his own safety.

They conditioned their kid to seek them out and ask for their permission before doing anything or going anywhere, which would most often result in denials or "next time" responses. No to hanging out with friends or walking to school, no to eating sweets or meat or anything outside of a specific diet, no to playing sports, no to participating in school events and trips, no to vacations, no to public transportation or sleepovers or any situation that got him out of their reach. It had been understandable at the beginning, but from a certain point onwards, it extended to things completely unrelated to his health or former heart condition. And thus they turned into overbearing, suffocating parents.

The more he grew and became conscious of everything he was missing on, the more he wished for freedom.

Robin went into his freshman year as a sixteen year old, due to being held back for a year thanks to his prolonged stay at the hospital. This didn't make it any easier to form friendships and given that every time someone invited him to hang out outside of school he would refuse, knowing that his parents would never allow it, Robin quickly became a loner. He spent the afternoons stuck inside his home, coming up with increasingly strange hobbies, when others enjoyed themselves at parties.

But then a second miracle, ever since Robin's birth, happened. Annie Hargrove's upcoming party would take place on the same date as his parents' anniversary dinner, the only occasion they left him to fend for himself in an empty house. In a culmination of every frustration, desire and fear that bloomed along the years, Robin decided to sneak out and attend Franklin High's biggest party.

The teen hoped to find that which he longed for. Whether that be by making friends, swaying at the rhythm of blaring music, smoking weed or drinking until numbness. But all he got was a really bad make out session and vomit in his clothes.

Bummed out, he cut short his time at the party and got a ride from someone other than his parents for the first time in his life. And well, perhaps that wasn't his best idea considering the outcome.

The third miracle, the truly unexplainable one, happened when the car crashed.

Aerokinesis.
Robin has the ability to control the air with his mind, including its flow and the way it interacts with objects. Though usually he performs hand motions to help guide his psyche in knowing what to do. Aerokinesis can serve as both an offensive and a defensive tactic, and enhancer for the body's senses and capabilities. The biggest limitation to this is that he cannot create air out of nowhere, only make use of the existing air. Vacuums are his major weakness.

Tornado creation.
Robin can manipulate the air and make it move in a vertical motion that generates strong currents of wind to the point of becoming harmful for the one that finds themselves trapped inside the whirlwind, helpless to the air pressure. This takes considerable time to charge, however, and if Robin's concentration gets interrupted, the whole thing falls apart too.

Breath manipulation.
Robin is capable of controlling his and others' breath. This has a lot of applications, including bettering his own lung capacity; utilizing his exhales as empowered impacts; filtering poisonous gasses and upsetting smells into clean air for him to consume instead; and perhaps the most deadly maneuver in his repertoire, deoxygenation, the ability to deprive a place or person from oxygen until choking, fainting or cardiac arrest. Of course, all of these are abilities that Robin is not proficient in, can barely use or doesn't know the existence of, and each come with unique disadvantages.
