Personality:
Rosalina is a kind and caring girl, who would do anything to protect Claret and her area from danger. She loves to see beautiful things, and wouldn't dare use her fangs to drink her guests' blood. Instead, she just asks them to calmly sit down in a chair while she carefully puts a needle in their vein. The needle is for their blood bags, and Rosalina does give them water and some snacks after they are done. She doesn't like to be lied to, betrayed, anyone trying to harm Claret, sunlight, or people causing trouble in their area.
Rosalina likes tea, chocolate, beautiful things, roses, singing, cooking, night, and the blood moon when it appears.
Backstory:
Rosalina is just your normal everyday pure blooded vampire, who lives in a manor. She leads the Red Rose faction with her younger twin sister: Claret, and they just maintain their area from the dangerous intruders.
One day, they found a stranger in the middle of the road near their manor. The poor guy was in a coma, and seeing that he wasn't going to get any help. Rosalina and Claret carefully carry the guy to their manor. It turns out that the poor guy that they were taking care of had no memories. Seeing that he had nowhere else to go, the twins let him stay at their manor.
Eventually, the guy started to work as their enforcer once the twins got to know him better. Heck, this guy even unconsciously summoned his divine armor to protect them. The twins were surprised by this recent discovery, but then it went south when he went on a rampage through their area. The twins were scared by that, since they really didn't want to deal with him in that state. However, the divine armor was disengaged by accident before they went too far.

Name: Emilio Byström
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: 25
Role: Magic Knight
Title: Vern the River Knight

Appearance: A rather well-built man with short hair and glasses. Emilio is tall and fairly muscular, as a result of his regular knight training. He's clean shaven and puts effort into his appearance, despite his lack of effort in many other areas. He wears glasses and can't see very well without them.
sigurd.png
(image/artist credit Miwa Shiro)

Personality: Emilio is fairly dispassionate and has a difficult time caring about things. He does his duty because it's expected of him, but he has no passion for his role as a knight. He's skilled in combat, but rarely puts in more than the base-line of effort; he trains to keep himself in shape and his senses sharp, but he doesn't actually enjoy it. He doesn't really enjoy much of anything, and sometimes goes through life as more of a machine than a person. He fights because he's supposed to, and rarely thinks too much about the deep reasons. He can be slow to make connections with others, but he doesn't dislike people, and is amicable enough.

Backstory: The youngest of two siblings, Emilio was announced as successor to the title of Vern as a child. It was an expected outcome, due to his natural talent and quick learning, but his elder sister was still devastated by the news. She worked herself to the bone in the hopes of becoming the heir, but was overlooked. She and Emilio both knew it was because she was a woman, but it's something that nobody brings up.

While they were fairly close as children, their relationship has suffered in recent years. Emilio does his duty because it's his job, but his sister has true passion for helping people, and he believes she would be a better knight than he is. He never says anything about this, but he's honestly frustrated by his own ambivalence and wishes that he could be more motivated. It leads to a never-ending spiral of wishing he could care and not being able to, and in the end he just does what he's told without thinking on it too hard. He's rather well-behaved and doesn't break rules often, so he's well liked by his superiors, but doesn't always get along with other knights on his level.

Abilities: Emilio is a physical fighter through and through, and doesn't really have an interest in magic. He knows the basics and the theory, but his sister usually backs him up on missions where extensive magic is required. He is quite skilled with a sword, as expected of a magic knight, and keeps up in his training so he can fight with or without his armour.

Gear:
  • Magic Knight Armour Vern
  • Vern's sword.

Optional Armour reference, though I'm not sure what design influences you were looking to for these:

Name: Claret Nasrin
Gender: Female
Race: Vampire
Age: 127
Role: Red Rose, and Rosalina's younger twin sister.

Appearance:
Clothes Across the World [Mexico] by CNeko-chan on DeviantArt.jpeg
She will usually wear the one on the right, but in special occasions she'll wear dresses.
Personality:
Claret is very introverted and shy. She hates being the center of attention and would rather reside in the library in the Manor. If someone she doesn't know starts trying to talk to her, Claret would start panicking and looking toward Rosalina as a cry for help. She rarely leaves the library, manly because that's her favorite room in the Manor. Once you get past her walls, however, you will see that she's very sweet and caring, especially to those she holds dear to her. She has a pet tarantula named Lucifer who she loves to death and would do anything for. She likes to put on records in the library and dance, but not when people are around, that'd really embarrass her. She hates being alone, but doesn't like big groups of people. She doesn't necessarily hate the sunlight either, she knows it's bad for her, but all she's ever wanted to do was be able to go out into the sunlight, she finds it beautiful.
Backstory:
Claret is just your normal everyday pure blooded vampire, who lives in a manor. She leads the Red Rose faction with her older twin sister: Rosalina, and they just maintain their area from dangerous intruders.

Seeing that he had nowhere else to go, the twins let him stay at their manor, Although Claret did try to fight against it because she didn't want another person in the Manor. She eventually got used to him though.
Eventually, the guy started to work as their enforcer once the twins got to know him better. Heck, this guy even unconsciously summoned his divine armor to protect them. The twins were surprised by this recent discovery, but then it went south when he went on a rampage through their area. Name: Virgo Brightson
Gender:Male
Race: Human
Age: 32
Role: Dark Knight
Title: Zachavon, The Tempest Knight

Appearance:
smoker2.jpg
Height: 6'4, Weight: 234 lbs, Eyes: Grey

Personality: Virgo is a very straightforward, blunt, honest man, and he expects others to act the same. He is almost always scowling despite not trying to do so, that just so happens to his default look. Justice is Virgo's motto and he whole heatedly believes in it despite those who might see it as childish. Despite being a very blunt and scary person to look at, Virgo does have a soft side when it comes to children, a fact that people find surprising. As a member of Jinga, Virgo wishes to see the downfall of the council, he does however respect some in it and tries not to get in the way of those who do good.

Backstory: As a child, Virgo was expected to be the best, something the eldest child of the Brightson family should always be. And he not only met but exceeded those expectations. Growing up he spent long hours of the night studying and in the field training, all so he could inherit the family's armor. Eventually, when he was 18 he was accepted by the armor and joined the council as a proud member. When he went into battle he fought bravely, when innocents were in danger he would take their wounds, when he was victorious he mourned those he could not save, all in the name of justice. One day his family would arrange a marriage for him with a beautiful woman named Rose and he fell in love instantly. Within a year they were married and in the year after, his daughter Violet was born. For a few years, Virgo would live in pure bliss with a loving family and a job he loved, only for it to come crashing down in one evening. An infectious monster, that would infect its host with a virus that makes it go berserk then move on to the next. This beast would one day find itself in his hometown causing dozens of deaths. A senior divine knight, Brax the Stonewall knight would give the order to exterminate the town of all citizens. Virgo disagreed and was held back from duty for his disobedience, hours afterward he would hold his slaughtered wife and daughter in his arms swearing that there would be justice. What was once a gentle rain became a crushing storm as Virgo found Brax and fought him the ruin he once called his hometown. It took all he had and pushing the time limits of his armor but that day, he had lived up to the name of the tempest by killing Brax in a rage unmatched by any storm. With no home or job to return too, Virgo would later hesitantly ally himself with Jinga to bring down the magic council. He believes in their message, but they will never live up to it, so he will crush it, and when afterward he will pick up the pieces and create a new council that will make his wife and daughter proud.

Abilities:
  • Weapons Master: Virgo is a master with several different weapons, his favorites are the spear and the great sword.
  • Close Combat Expert: Virgo is trained in several martial arts as is usual with all Magic knights.
  • Magic Proficiency: Virgo is skilled with several different branches of magic, but cannot be called an expert in them any of them. He has mastered the basics but nothing more.
  • Battle Instinct: Through years of experience Virgo has gained an instinctual insight of how an enemy may fight and how to best counteract them. This ability also allows Virgo to fight with no issue if affected by any audible or visual interference.
Gear:
  • Magical storage bag containing an inter-dimensional space the size of 10ftx10ftx10ft.
  • The Brightson Spear made of mythril and wielded by the first Brightson. Capable of summoning lighting bolts and throwing them.
  • A magic locket containing a moving picture of Virgo with his family.
  • An old wedding ring still worn on his right hand.

Divine Knight Armor Appearance:
Lighting.jpg

Armor Abilities:
  • Storm Call: The Armor can summon a furious storm, with winds as powerful as tornadoes and lighting that turns anything to ash.
  • Cyclone Wall: An intense wind surrounds the wielder protecting them from all but strongest capable of piercing the wind.
  • Lighting Wielder: The Lighting of the gods is channeled into the wielder allowing them control of it and the ability to channel it into their weapons.
  • Wind Walk: The wielder of the armor may navigate himself through the air with ease as if he was being carried by the wind itself.
  • Godly Strength: Made to slaughter the angels and demons of the land in an instant, the wielder of the armor is blessed with the strength of the gods.
  • Heart of the Tempest: To wield the armor the Wielder must have a stalwart heart and never hesitate in his decisions. They must always be moving forward for nothing stops the tempest from going where it pleases.
Armor Fighting Style:
The armor is made to eliminate their opponent as fast as possible. Those that survive the storm will drop any foe to the ground leaving them open to attack. With superior agility and almighty strength, the tempest crushes any foe with lighting quick skill and destructive power that leaves their opponents in ashes.

Trivia: His hair was originally brown but has turned white through overuse of his armor.
Is a suprisingly good singer, but has only done so for his wife, and will never do unless in the mood.

Name: Rubrum
Gender: Male
Race: Unknown
Age: Unknown
Role: Divine Knight
Title: Nox, the Wandering Dark Knight

Appearance:
1597898767521.png

Personality: Rubrum is a reserved and taciturn individual. He speaks very little to those he is unfamiliar with and prefers not to speak when with those he dislikes. Rubrum is motivated first and foremost by his loyalty to the Nasrin sisters. The care, understanding and effort they put into helping him has instilled in Rubrum a deep devotion to the two. He obeys every order they give and constantly pushes himself to appease their every whim. Since becoming their enforcer and protector of their estate. Rubrum has developed overprotective tendencies that cause him to view anything that could harm the twins as something that must be destroyed. A silent hunter, Rubrum has a predatory disposition when pursuing his targets. He dislikes drawn out fights and prefers to take care of opponents as fast as he possibly can. Since the discovery of his Divine Knight Armor, Rubrum has become much more aware of how little he knows of himself. He also fears harming the Nasrin Sisters that saved his life and gave it new meaning. Rubrum is deeply in love with Lady Rosalina, but views himself as a mere servant who only exists to serve her.

Backstory: Found alone and barely breathing in the middle of the road. This unknown and unnamed individual was cared for by the vampiric Nasrin Sisters in Redwood Manor. As he recovered, it was revealed that he had not a memory of who he was or how he got there. When the sisters attempted to turn him into one of their kind, they found that he couldn't be turned. However their act of kindness had earned his loyalty nonetheless. As such, he became a servant for the Nasrin Family. His eyes had even become blood red the moment he swore himself to his Mistresses. At first he worked preparing meals for the two, tidying the manor and doing errands that they could not because of their aversion to sunlight. Mistress Rosalina even gave him the name "Rubrum" after Mistress Claret had said under her breath that his red eyes looked like rubies in the moonlight. Redwood Manor became his home and serving the Nasrin Sisters became his life. Yet when their mansion was visited by overzealous vampire suitors, Rubrum found he could match their physical power and ferocity. He began to instinctively remember how to fight via muscle memory. With his skills developing, he was promoted to the twins bodyguard. When Mistress Claret was taken by a Demon who desired her as a concubine, Rubrum butchered the Demon at Mistress Rosalina's request. When the twins asked Rubrum to protect them from the fallout of killing the demonic noble, Rubrum slaughtered everyone who came after the two. Not a single person escaped his grasp, leading to the Magic Knights opening an investigation on the young man. It was during one of their visits that the manor was attacked by a Manticore that had been possessed by the vengeful spirit of the Demon Noble. The Magic Knight investigators were either killed or beaten to the brink of death. Rubrum was poisoned by the stinger of the beast and could only watch as it marched on the manor. He was later informed that he had risen from the ground and pulled out an unfamiliar sword. Rubrum then used that sword to summon a set of black Magic Knight armor. Driving the Manticore back, he sliced off its tail. Then everything went wrong as Rubrum lost control and brutally hacked the Manticore to pieces before pounding the remains into the dirt with the severed tail. Roaring like a feral beast, he turned on his own employers and easily knocked aside the Magic Knights who could still fight. Before he could harm the twins, Lucifer the tarantula happened to leap onto the safety mechanism built to disengage the armor. Taken into custody by the Magic Knights, he was brought before Grace. The overseer of the Lunarvale and the former Angellic representative on the Magic Council. She informed him that he possessed the armor of Nox, the Wandering Dark Knight. The Nox Armor had been lost thousands of years ago, with little info on it other than its basic abilities. Interrogating him for the next few days, Grace warned him to practice control lest he harm the two he cared about the most. Returning home, Rubrum couldn't bare to look upon his Mistresses with what happened to him. Yet they still accepted him and the twins gifted him with a scarlet muffler they made as a get-well gift. Resolving to make up for his mistake with fervent loyalty, Rubrum found he couldn't unsheathe the sword he had used to summon Nox. The hilt and scabbard were covered in chains...that no one else could see...

Abilities:
.Superhuman Strength
.Superhuman Speed
.Superhuman Durability
.Superhuman Agility
.Superhuman Intelligence
.Finely Tuned Magical Senses
.Advanced Healing Factor
.Rune Magic (Learnt from the Twins Library)

Gear:

. Bloody Rose: A pair of specially made weapons commissioned for Rubrum by the Nasrin Sisters. In their regular form they took the appearance of bladed black handguns. With the press of a button they change into shortswords with blades that can cut through concrete with ease.
.Fluffy Muffler: A red scarf presented to Rubrum by Rosalina and Claret. Its been enchanted to help calm his emotional state when he gets stressed and serves as a reminder to Rubrum of his loyalty to the twins

Divine Knight Armor Appearance:
Roze_FullBody(1).png

Armor Abilities:
.Negative Energy Absorption: Nox is an armor with the ability to absorb negative energies such as curses, negative emotions and dark magic. Nox is highly sensitive to these kinds of energies and can easily locate them. Nox can absorb these energies into its body to either safely dissolve them or purify them to strengthen itself. However a previous wielder of Nox discovered that through use of an certain ritual, the armor can convert the souls of the wicked into even greater power for itself.
.Negative Energy Manipulation: Nox can use the negative energies it absorbs to empower itself by strengthening its blows, enhancing its ability parameters and even turning the negative energy into projectile weapons.
.Balance: To properly use the Nox Armor. One must be in perfect control of their emotions, fully accepting of them but not being dominated by them. This is due to the dark powers wielded by Nox converting powerful negative emotions like hatred, sorrow or greed. Imbalance in the psyche of Nox's bearer will result in the armor becoming unstable and the wearer becoming feral in their armored form. Cracks will form in the armor as it cannot contain the dark energies that its user cannot control.

Armor Fighting Style: Nox is an armor specializing in longsword combat. Legends say its user would regular fight rather defensively while passively absorbing malice from its opponent before striking with empowered sword attacks...

Name: David Striation

Gender: Male

Race: Lycanthrope

Age: 43

Role: Divine Knight

Title: Fenrir, The Platinum Wolf Knight

Appearance:
1597946047484.png
1597946305132.png

Personality:
David is a man of few words. He normally watches things go down passively as if he's waiting for some opportunity. That isn't to say David is a shy man, he simply prefers to not waste his breath on things he deems not important. David is a man of logic and he takes in everything with that lens. Just because the world is full of magic that doesn't seem to make any sense doesn't mean that David shall not attempt to force it to make sense through his lens of science. David has a lot of care for the lives of the mundane, probably brought over from his childhood among them. He takes his duties as a Divine Knight seriously though he takes his other job seriously as well. He gets a kick out of just about any humor but he has a soft spot for 'dad jokes'. Unlike many lycanthropes David keeps his head upon every transformation of his barring the forced one upon the full moon. He keeps the control of his lupine tendencies a high priority as any slip is seen as a major failure on his part. David barely ever seems to get angry or have any real outburst, on the few occasions he has gotten truly pissed his lupine traits appear and make his rage something to behold. David cannot stand things not to be neat and organized.

Backstory: David's father was a Divine Knight who came to defect from the Magic Knight council. The lycanthrope who had been a respected and powerful knight fell in love with a mundane human woman and after many years away from the Magical world had David with her. David's childhood years were spent believing that the world was completely normal and that he was completely normal. He went through his young life believing in the value of truth and sciences, of course his world was shaken when at eighteen years of age he was finally told where his father had come from. David was taught in the ways of the magical world and how to be a knight. Even though the ways of knighthood at first did not agree with him, he eventually mastered it. David became a knight in all ways except for reality, there was of course another thing before David could take over the bloodline and don the armor of the bloodline. David decided to become a lycanthrope, taking the curse from his father and mastering it over years until he could control it with barely a conscious thought. After more years of honing and training, the armor finally accepted him. David could now don The Platinum Wolf Armor, but he barely ever did. David had become a professor at a local university as a more mundane career until he made the decision to carry the responsibility his father had left. For the first time he entered the places of magic and after proving himself ended up joining the Magic Knights, though he hasn't completely left his old job as a Professor behind, most of his energy is spent towards his duties as a knight.

Abilities:
- Lycanthropy
  • Increased Strength
  • Animal senses
  • Increased Agility
  • Incredible Jaw Strength as well as sharp claws
  • Increased Durability.
  • As a Lycanthrope David can heal quickly from most wounds, the only exceptions being wounds from silver, and fire.
-David's a smart man and has keen observational skills.
-David possesses a photographic memory.

Gear: David carries a sidearm outfitted with magics procured from the Magic Knight Faction.

David is often seen holding a walking stick which transforms into the Axe of Fenrir upon summoning his armor.

The top hat that David wears is mostly just fashion but he does hide a pen and paper in it which he uses to create to do lists.

Armor Appearance:
317EB4A8-2443-4808-9571-11ED121679C6.jpeg

Armor Abilities:
The armor forces out the ferocity of a Lycanthrope, it increases the strength of the wearer far beyond their normal strength even in their wolf shape. The armor seems to be fire resistant, and whenever a weapon of silver comes into contact with the armor it shrivels to dust. The armor, Fenrir seems specifically crafted to eliminate the weaknesses of the Lycanthropes who wear it. The axe of Fenrir is a mighty weapon that can be thrown and summoned back with a whim. While wearing this armor the wearer loses the ability to show mercy and begins to become more and more feral by the moment as they give in to their lupine self. As the wearer becomes more lupine the strength the armor provides grows. Though just as with any armor no Divine Knight would risk wearing their armor for anything more than brief occasions.

Armor Fighting Style: While wearing the armor the wearer attacks like a beast. Going for the weak spots of its prey and attacking without warning or respite. The axe is used to cut down any foe who attempts to retreat. The main idea behind this fighting style is that the wearer will not stop attacking until either they are dead or the one they're attacking is.

Name: Lillith Stratos
Gender: female
Race: Unkown
Age: Unclear, but looks like she's in her early 20's
Role: Dark Priestess
ae23c1e6ed448259a92338447ec9c1f4.png

Appearance: Lillith has never looked completely healthy, her incredibly white, pale skin is the first feature of hers, that people notice, this matched with her body being frigid to the touch, only aides in the perception of her being less of a Priestess and more of a walking corpse. Although several people have questioned her on these physical characteristics of hers they are only met with a polite laugh, before she changes the subject. A wide smile is always plastered on her face no matter the occasion and only stands at a 4'4, however, despite her short stature, a sort of foreboding energy can be felt coming from her. Her straight, brown hair falls just above her shoulders and is as dark the dirt she first clawed her way out of. The color of her eyes has remained a mystery to most of the world as she has never been seen without a mask or sunglasses glued to her face. Lillith has never stood out as someone with striking beauty, however, she has been called cute, a comment which has made her uncomfortable no matter how many times she has heard it. During work, she is always seen in her Priestess garb, a uniform which she has made slight modifications too, in order to maximize comfort. Outside of work, she has always dressed sharp, in the past, she has been seen wearing finely tailored suits, as well as occasionally wearing a long, black evening dress that she has always been very fond of.

Personality: A kind and gentle soul who is willing to help those in need with the smallest of problems, a model Priestess who always puts others before her, this is what people are told when they first hear of her, this perception of her character that she has painstakingly maintained throughout her many years of life causes strangers on the street as well as acquaintances to wonder why she is called a 'dark priestess' in the first place. Her initial demeanor is all an act, a sort of mask she has perfected, beneath it lies a less than forgiving person. Even, with her lack of interest in all topics that are unrelated to her personal gain, she tends to entertain conversations surrounding the war and other important world issues, in order to keep up her act. To her few allies and those who she deals in business with, she is a cold and manipulative individual who won't think twice, to make a person disappear if they try to antagonize or cheat her. With self-preservation and self-gain being her only goal, she is hungry for wealth and power and will stop at nothing to obtain what she wants. Her arrogant demeanor and two-faced tendencies seem to cool down a tad when dealing with the few people she considers comrades. Throughout most of her days, she keeps the mask, firmly planted, to hide her real character, however, being the way she is having a keen eye and constantly scheming is part of her nature. Regardless, of her shady dealings outside of her profession, she feels a sense of hollow pride, when it comes to her profession, keeping all of her less than legal activity away from her workplace. People who've seen past her facade, however, haven't made an ally of her, tend to have a strong sense of uneasiness as well as keep there guard up when around her.

Backstory:
Growing up the youngest of five children and living in extreme poverty Lililith learned quickly to fend for herself and to disregard her caretakers who seemed to favor the children to her. She had no ambitions other than to make enough money to leave the living hell that she resided in, the corners of her mouth always curled up in an unnaturally wide smile in a futile attempt to appease her caretakers. This odd habit of hers stuck with her into adolescence, at the age of nine she was adopted by a member of the magic knights, fully expecting her life to change for the better, Lillith made the mistake of letting her guard down and attempting to make friends with the knight, this single action created misery in her life as the man only showed to be interested in her magical ability and not the person attached to that ability. Now, thirteen and fully ignorant of the idea of family or friends, Lilith spent all of her days practicing her abilities to appease her caretaker and her knights, engaging in petty crime, such as pickpocketing. In the beginning, she was content with the money she was obtaining, however, her greed would take her over when she met a group of criminals short on money, a plan was made and her house was easily robbed, with the front door being conveniently unlocked in the middle of the night. Her plan was a success, she had received a rather generous cut of the stolen money, and the knight who had been so cruel to her before was dead by her own hands. The criminals welcomed her, brought her into their gang, and became the closest thing to family she had ever had. When she was eighteen, after years of committing crimes and saving up money, she left the gang to pursue her own path in life, this meant engaging in unsavory activities that even the criminals she knew wouldn't try. Throughout her years as a criminal, she managed to amass enough money to live comfortably as well as several connections in many places. However, as she got older it became harder for her to evade the police, because of the tediousness of having to change locations every few weeks, she decided to join JINGA, despite her acting kind and naive she eventually became a priestess, with her new position it became easy to evade police detection, and although her profession as a priestess was initially a cover for her crimes, she was surprised to find she enjoyed it, she found it amusing to see pitiful people down on their luck turn to god for some form of guidance. Even today she can be found performing her duties as a priestess during the day whilst participating in illegal activity at night time.

Abilities:

Shapeshifting: She can take the appearance of any creature, which blood she has come into contact with, this includes many small animals as well as more than a few people. Lillith regards herself as a master of her ability, not only can she transform specific sections of her body, while the rest remaining the same, she can also exclusively mimic the voices of these individuals

Charismatic: Being well-spoken and approachable, Lillith prides herself on lulling people into a falls sense of security and talking her way out of difficult situations

Shadow Manipulation - Her shadow bends to her will, if any part of her shadow, touches the shadow of another living creature, the creature that shadow belongs too, will then be forced to mimic all of her movements

Gear: The only items she carries around is a rosary, which is always wrapped around the knuckles on her right hand, and a small glass bottle filled with 'holy water'. Both items are mainly props for work, however, she has used both items in combat, although very rarely.

Title: Sorcuse, Knight of the Unbroken Earth

Appearance: Jazz is tall and lanky, with bright red hair and green eyes. She favors casual clothes day to day, not terribly concerned about looking good for other people, though when she goes out she will dress up to look good for herself.

Personality:
Jazz is irreverent, loud and arrogant. She cares very little what other people think of her, and pursues what makes her happy.

Jazz’s arrogance stems from a deep seated, unshakeable sense of self worth. She doesn’t look down on other people, exactly, she just has nothing to prove to them. She well and truly enjoys life, be it dancing at a club, relaxing outside or anything in between. Her personal philosophy centers heavily around enjoying what you’ve got.

Another, arguably more important tenet of her philosophy centers around personal freedom.

Impersonal rules handed down from on high are just chains to be broken. This means that she can be selfish and uncaring for others in the pursuit of her own pleasure, but she also believes that personal freedom should be for everyone. While she’ll fight you for the last slice of pizza, and wouldn’t lend you money even if the mob was after you, she’ll fight anyone she believes is impinging on freedom of choice, even if it's not her choice that they’re stifling.

As a side effect of her belief in personal freedom, she believes that killing someone is the ultimate way to take choice away. She hates death, and avoids killing whenever possible, though her natural selfishness allows her to kill when she feels that her life would be in peril otherwise.
She prefers to steal, humiliate or prank over killing. A mission that is explicitly focused on the death of the enemy is a mission that she’ll flip her boss the bird and walk away from.

Another aspect to this belief, is a penchant for honesty and openness. She doesn’t lie if she can help it. A lie is just another way to twist and limit people's choices. Information should be out there to share, uninhibited. Let people find their own way. Give them the resources to do it. Lying, hiding things, might seem like a good idea in the short term, but in the long run it’s going to hurt everyone involved and stifle freedom.

At the end of the day, Jazz appreciates the part rules play in society. There’s no reason to break them if you haven’t got a reason. Don’t kill people over a burrito, don’t steal from your neighbor because you need a little gas money, it’s probably not a good idea to touch an electric fence even if you really want to say ‘fuck you’ to the man and ignore that sign.
But as soon as you’ve got a good enough reason, rules were meant to be broken. And stupid rules? Laws put down by a bunch of old folks out of touch with reality who do things ‘for your own good?’ those rules were meant to be shattered. She can be a little over zealous when breaking the rules, but hey, thats part of freedom. Freedom to be a fool.

“Look, that's why there's rules, understand? So that you think before you break 'em.”

(Actual quote by Terry Pratchett)

Jazz is the last surviving member of the Hester family.
The only child of Bertram and June Hester, a prominent knight and priestess of the Magic Knights. Her parents were loving and kind, but devoted to their work. As a result, though Jazz felt a large amount of affection for her parents, she was often left to her own devices. She picked fights, came home late, and instead of training in the blade she focused on magic, which was much more interesting to Jazz. A lot of this was merely to get her parents attention, which made it all the more tragic when they were both killed by a plague demon that had been unleashed on a nearby city. The demon fell, but so did her parents.
At sixteen, she was expected to take up the mantel of Sorcuse.

Fuck that.

Her parents had died in the line of duty. Jazz respected that and all, but that was their choice, not hers. She had better things to do, like fall asleep on a warm, grassy hillside, get lost exploring a new city, practice the gravity magic she'd picked up from a priest, or learning to sing in German.

At first she thought she’d get away with it. The Magic knights were, hell, even supportive. They let her keep the armor, encouraged her to ‘think about it’ and told her she could make her choice when she finished school at Eighteen. If she said no, she’d give over the armor and be on her way.

But as she approached her eighteenth birthday, certain members of the organization began asking her… odd questions. How was her love life? Was there anyone she liked?
She wasn’t sure what to think. These cold eyed, fussy looking clerks asking her about who she was dating.

Eventually it came out. One of the older members of the council explained that they were looking for an heir. Preferably a few, so that one would be sure to take up the armor eventually.
“I’m not a hotel, huh? No little kiddo is taking up residence in my belly, thanks. I don’t plan on having a kid. Don’t really plan on getting married either. Sorry. I was going to get my tubes tied so I can have fun without having to worry about it."
They appealed to her sense of duty, her desire for a safe world. Would she really let such a powerful weapon against the forces of evil die with her?

Yes. Yes she would.

They left, looking downcast. She didn’t think much of it. Not until she began to apply for college.

Rejected. Every single university she applied to rejected her. She was at a loss. Her grades were good. She had a few truancy problems, and not the best detention record, but she was smart, she did a lot of extracurriculars, there was no way she’d be barred from every college.
Confused, she started working. But every job she landed would let her go for ‘unspecified reasons’ and some legal trouble she never quite understood stopped her inheritance from coming through, and soon she was penniless.
The council members came to her again. Take up the armor or bear a child.

Fuck that.

But then her passport was rendered unusable. Apartments and hotels wouldn’t take her in. Her insurance wasn't valid.

Enraged well past the point of reason, the next time a council member cake to her she used the armor to punch him through a wall. Shebwould have killed him, had his magic knight body guards not fought her off. She was inexperienced and had neglected her training. Divine armor or not she couldn't beat them. But what she was good at was sneaking off, ducking and running. She disengaged her armor and used the gravity magic she'd honed into a nearly unmatched tool for personal mobility to easily outrun the knights.

It was then, on the run, that she was approached by a member of JINGA. Interested in their goal, and enticed by the protection they promised her, Jazz agreed to join up.
They Magic Knights thought they could back her into a corner? Force her to do what they wanted? They'd see that was a mistake.

Jazz would show them that this cornered animal would rather fight and die than give in.

Over the next six years she honed her combat skills, and while she never became the most able swordsman, she found a way to mesh her near impenetrable earth aligned armor with her gravity magic, turning herself into a nigh unstoppable canon ball, and allowing her to move more nimbly than anyone in armor, divine or no, should be capable of moving.

Abilities:
Gravity Magic: Jazz is a very skilled user of Gravity Magic. She prefers to use it to manipulate gravity around her body, allowing her to leap impossibly high, leap off walls like a ninja, or even fly, it has other longer range uses as well, such as stunting the mobility of enemies or empowering/weakening blows.

Dexterous: Jazz is quick, sharp and sneaky. She never had any formal training, so this helps little when handling a blade or dagger or any other sort of weapon, but she knows how to get in and out of places unseen, knows how to not get hit, and is almost impossible to catch when she flees thanks to her speed and gravity abilities.

Criminal: Jazz liked extracurricular activities that were less than legal. She knows her way around a set of lock picks, she can hotwire a car, and she has, in the past, 'ballooned'. That is, hooking a rubber band with a balloon attached around her tongue, putting something she needs hidden in the balloon, and swallowing it.

Gear:

Jazz tends to carry around a set of lock picks, some spray paint, a crowbar, and a rapier she has only the vaguest knowledge of how to use. She also likes to keep half bricks in her bag. She doesn't care what sort of knight or monster she encounters, nobody likes getting hit with a brick moving with a velocity that suggested it had been dropped from the stratosphere.
She also has goggles that protect her eyes when she's moving at free fall speed.

Divine Knight Armor Appearance:

Armor Abilities: Her armor's abilities had more noble names in the past, but Jazz has forgotten them.

Defend: Shards of earth erupt from the ground around Jazz, creating a barrier of earth.

Defend Harder: her armor becomes heavy and stoney. Jazz's joints lock up, and she becomes blind and unable to move. According to historical sources, nothing has ever harmed the wearer when in this state.

Hulk Smash: The earth around erupts in a localized earthquake. Can be used to destroy objects.

Armor Fighting Style: Jazz relys on an unconventional style that relies more on gravity Manipulation to speed herself up and slow her enemies down. While in her heavy armor, she takes advantage of its massive weight to surprise her opponents with her gravity enhanced speed, turning her into a nigh unstoppable cannon ball.
