  So, I was recently rewatching the third Madoka Magica movie, and realized that a world that was similar to the Labyrinth they were fighting in sounded like it would be fun to roleplay in. A universe where our characters can be happy they chose to become Magical Girls, instead of having the constant threat of becoming a Witch looming over them? Yes, please. I need that in my life. So, basically, this is a roleplay that takes place in a universe based on that.

  1. Unless your character wished to be a boy, I would rather the characters be strictly female, due to the fact that there's a canon explanation as to why they're only girls. If you discuss this with me, I'm willing to negotiate, though.
  2. Please have a colour theme for your character. One or two colours. You can reserve colours.
  3. No wishes that would make your character overpowered.
  4. Be nice. This is a game, we're supposed to have fun. I don't want anyone fighting in the OOC.
  5. There's a player cap of five to six people, on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once I've accepted six people, the sign-ups will be closed.
  6. This is to be a casual/Semi-literate roleplay. Decent grammar, a minimum of one paragraph per post. I understand if you have writer's block, but don't make a habit of writing one-liners.
  7. If you read the rules, write what colours I reserved in your post.

  Because the canon universe and this don't actually mesh well, some a few alterations have been made.
  
  1. Wishes are still granted by Incubators in exchange for a girl's soul. Additionally, the girls are given little companions to help them with defeating nightmares. (Similar to what Bebe did in the movie. I thought that was cute.) These companions are called "Familiars", and can be anything from animals to dolls, some even have ones that look human.
  2. Nightmares still give things similar to grief seeds when they're defeated, this giving the incubators something to collect.
  3. It's still possible for a Magical Girl to fall into despair, but considerably harder given how defeating a Nightmare cleanses all Soul Gems in a vicinity. When this happens, they warp into a stronger Nightmare, which can then be defeated and thus revert the Magical Girl back to normal unless her Soul Gem was broken.
  4. Other things later on? Like this is hardly done
