Person
Name:
The character's name.
Age:
The character's age.
Appearance:
The character's appearance. Although an image is preferred, a description is just as acceptable.
Personality:
The character's general personality. You can be as specific or as vague as you want. Even just the "archetype" of character you want them to fill would work.
Background:
The character's general background.

Magical Girl
Magical Girl weapon:
The weapon the character is given when they transform into a magical girl.
Magical Girl appearance:
The appearance of their magical girl costume. Although an image is preferred, a description is just as acceptable.
Soul Gem color:
The color of the character's soul gem. It isn't that important, but still adds some flavor to the roleplay.
Magical Girl wish:
What the character wished for in exchange for their Magical Girl powers. They also get their innate power based on this wish.
Magical Girl wish's background:
The reason and background for the wish. Why did they wish for it? Did they have to make a split decision? Was it made in a time of crisis? Did they know everything that comes with being a Magical Girl? (This is optional, although would be good.)

These are the bare minimum that's needed for the character sheet. If you want to add ANYTHING extra, like size, likes, dislikes, and other things, you can do so. You can also reorder things as you see fit, and delete the "Appearance:" bullet if you want to use an image and put it elsewhere on the sheet.

EXAMPLE:
This is an example sheet, in case anybody wants a visual representation of what the basic sheet would look like filled. This character will not be used in character (which seems obvious since this is just the best girl from the original series.)

Name:
Sayaka Miki
Age:
14
Personality:
Sayaka is a chivalrous tomboy who loves her friends, albeit she is rash and tends to run headfirst into things without thinking. She has an incredibly romantic view of love and hates the idea of being rejected so much that she could die.
Background:
Sayaka lived a normal life up to becoming a magical girl. She grew close to her friends and never had to deal with people suddenly leaving her life. She even developed a crush on one of her friends, Kyousuke, who helped her find her love of classical music.

Magical Girl weapon:
A sword she can summon a seemingly endless amount of, but can control in small quantities.
Soul Gem color:
Blue.
Magical Girl wish:
She wished to heal her friend Kyousuke Kamijo's fingers. Because her wish involved healing, her regenerative abilities are higher than average.
Magical Girl wish's background:
She wished for this because she has a crush on Kyousuke. He had been involved in an accident which messed up his fingers. Normal, this wouldn't be the end of the world, but he was a violinist, and could no longer continue to do what he had dedicated his life to. She didn't have anything she needed to use the wish on for herself, so instead using it for Kyousuke took up most of her thought about it. She thought about it for over a week, eventually deciding to go ahead with it after seeing Kyousuke break down in tears over it.

Name:
Nozomi Shiranui

Age:
16 going on 17

Appearance:
Nozomi is somewhat tall and slim, close to 170cm tall. Her neck-length hair is dyed a bright red, but its black roots are noticeable.

Because of the accident she sustained, her brown eyes are dull and unfocused, and much of her upper body is visibly scarred. As such, she hates showing any skin from there, and favors dressing in a clean, feminine style with long-sleeved jackets or blouses.

Personality:
Nozomi seems to be rather aloof, and those among her peers who know about her past might accuse her of trying to coast on her past glory even as she throws herself into her studies.

In truth, she is rather insecure about her current situation as well as her inability to use the talents she used to be so prized for. And so she worries for her family's future.

Having just become a magical girl, she is rather happy about having another chance to be special, and deep down she wants someone to show off to and be admired by again.

Background:
Raised by a single mother in the city of Kazamino, the naturally shy Nozomi Shiranui came into her own when she was scouted by a talent agency at the age of ten. More than being able to be the center of attention as she grew her talents in acting and music, Nozomi enjoyed most the praise and reliance her mother lavished on her.

That way of life could not last, and one night when Nozomi was 15, a fire razed their suburban home, set perhaps by an overzealous fan or rival. Nozomi and her mother escaped, though she sustained severe burns and damage to her eyes.

With her disfigurement, her career ended overnight, and the two soon moved to Matsuyama to live more simply. With her mother needing to go to work again, their life changed, and a seed of resentment has been planted.

---
Magical Girl weapon:
Various ninja tools, including kunai, shuriken, claws, and wires. In battle, her magic also tends to manifest murky water or thick mist.

Magical Girl appearance:
Compared to some other magical girls, her costume might seem to be slightly more subdued. It takes the form of a stereotypical short black ninja tunic with bright red hems and a headband and mask hiding much of her face.

Her eyes become clear and focused in this state, glowing red alongside her soul gem that appears set in her forehead like a third eye.

Magical Girl wish:
"I wish Mother would not need me any more."
Her wish for self-reliance granted her the ability to create duplicates of people or objects no bigger than herself. They are not hard to tell apart from the real things, as they are brittle and shimmer in motion.

Magical Girl wish's background:
With Nozomi's mother needing to find work to support them both, Nozomi felt guilt at being scarred and worried that she would begin to hate her.

When the incubator made its offer, she was uncertain at first. Could any wish be possible? Could magic and magical girls exist?

But needs only became more urgent, and when it returned she was ready to make a contract.

Her wish was granted, and soon her mother was offered a highly paid job that kept her away from home often, the better for Nozomi to pursue her new duties. The truth of her new form and its power is yet unknown to her.

Magical Girl wish:
"I wish Mother would not need me any more."
Her wish for self-reliance granted her the ability to create duplicates of people or objects no bigger than herself. They are not hard to tell apart from the real things, as they are brittle and shimmer in motion.
By "They also get extra boosts based on this wish." I meant something rather "inane" like her wish making her soul gem cloud up slower than others when she uses magic. You don't have to get rid of this ability, you can easily just move it to part of her weapon since Mami could also use her ribbons alongside her muskets and Kyoko had the latticework barrier and her lance-whip.

No change has to be made, and your character is accepted.

  • Age:
    9
    Personality:
Being just a kid, Agotta is very kind and outgoing. Although she isn't generally knowledgeable, she's quite smart. She's very straightforward about her thoughts and hasn't adapted a filter. She's very active and must constantly be doing something.
    Background:
Agotta has been growing up in a normal enough family, besides that her parents are often out of the house in the afternoon. As a young girl, she got bored very easily, so she'd turn to the TV to remedy this. Her frequent and unrestricted television access gave her a love for many children's TV series.

Komi Murasa
538190fdbc636bb151ab880ae76620f0222.jpg
Age:
15
Personality:
Komi is an adrenaline junkie through and through, seeing more dangerous and disastrous scenarios as a buffet to be enjoyed and savored. She's generally eager and fun-loving, but finds nothing but disdain for any recommendation that she slow down. She's rather perplexed that anyone could find merely living satisfying and has grown rather distant from everyday people as a result, seeing safe stagnation as a fate worst than death a million times over.

As a result, she thrives in dangerous situations, meeting shocking developments and sudden disasters with an eagerness many could liken to sheer madness. But in mundane situations, she's often far too irritated by even the thought of relaxing to mesh with. This has led to her taking on the role of quite a delinquent, finding starting trouble and gaining ire far more exciting than something like schooling. She curtails this attitude greatly when she has something properly dangerous to distract herself with.

Background:
From the moment Komi rode her first bike, she was obsessed with one thing and one thing only: the thrill that it gave her. Growing up she was known for her thirst for adrenaline, performing increasingly dangerous stunts whenever she grew bored of the previous ones. While many of her peers could enjoy watching her risk life and limb on numerous occasions for that sweet sweet hit of dopamine, it was always a question of when, not if, she'd finally get herself killed.

Annoyed by recommendations to hold back or slow down, Komi's stunts accelerated into outright stupidity during the tail-end of her middle-school years. The result of this was her most daring stunt yet, which left her in a somewhat precarious state. Despite the concerns people had for her, she miraculously survived the ordeal and even grew more bold afterwards. Soon she became locally renown for surviving stunts that would hospitalize most professionals if attempted, often coming out with nary a scratch on her.

Little did most know the stunts she pulled in public were tame compared to what she did out of sight.

e88d78cfd69fb08dca363019bbd49afa.jpg
Magical Girl weapon:
Komi's weapon isn't traditional in the slightest, as Fafnir takes the form of a transforming vehicle which she can operate without even being in it. Able to transform from a car to a motorcycle to just a skateboard, Komi can summon Fafnir rather easily. Though she can swing its skateboard form with enough skill to hack through most problems, her preferred method of attack seems to be just ramming its full vehicle form into whatever she sees fit as much as physically possible.

mole-wang-0.jpgmole-wang-1-3.jpgmole-wang-1-4.jpg

Soul Gem color:
A Glowing White speckled with Gold
Magical Girl wish:
"This... this wasn't enough, I want to... go faster, pal. Faster than... anyone could go!"
Magical Girl wish's background:
Komi's thirst for danger had caught up with her back when she'd just entered her teens, and resulted in a stunt which was a miracle she'd survived in the first place. The result of that stunt was her being fully hospitalized and placed in intensive care with doctors prepared to do whatever it took to make sure she at least survived.

But when Kyubey came to her, she couldn't care less about survival. When offered a single wish, the only thing Komi could ask for was to go faster, which resulted in her weapon taking the form of a vehicle with quite the speed to its name.

    Name:
    Azamuku "Aza" Aikyo
    Age: 15
    Personality:
Aza is a rather calm person managing to keep a rather indifferent expression on her face through most things. When talking to others she can also be rather creepy not seeming to talk as a normal human should. She often refers to others as humans as if she is not one herself. her mind is more bent to the scientific than the creative, but she still has a love for music and finds unnamed other lacking in creativity. Aza can often sound as if she is looking down on other magical girls when asked about the, but is often very polite even to those she dismisses behind their back. She also enjoys word play and loop holes. Despite all this she is still human and can be kind from time to time, though what makes her angry is someone who in her opinion wastes their wish.
    Background:
Growing up the child of 2 teachers Aza has ironically never been good at school work and that created a rift between her and her parents. This would grow into a streak of defiance and disobedience along with trouble making. Aza really in truth was frustrated she could not live up to her parents expectations and wanted to do something to impress them but anger only drove her further away from them and what she wanted. This would end up being secretly a good thing as the alienation did mean she could stay away a long time without being missed.

The weapon seems a bit too powerful. Not because it's too strong, but because of the healing bullet. Perhaps it costs a lot more magical power than the other two?

What happened as a result of her wish? Did she get a power of some kind? I understand wanting to keep a backstory hidden, but you at least need to show its results.

i would assume her mom got a job and her multiple bullets are her power to fit the sniper theme

  • Age:
    16
    Personality:
Ciel is a pretty relaxed and laidback jokester. She's almost always ready to crack a joke or pull a kindhearted prank. She's easily absorbed into her own interests and quite often oblivious to her surroundings. However, as if she were two people, she can quickly become serious and stoic if a situation demands it.
    Background:
Before becoming a magical girl, Ciel was a part of her school's kendo club, and that was the most interesting thing in her life. Ciel has been a magical girl for a very eventful year. She knows most of the basic secrets, such as her body being the puppet of her soul gem, why magical girls exist, and what will happen to her when she dies. She regrets none of her time as a magical girl, not all the times she's nearly died, the times she fought other magical girls, or the time when she killed one.

Person

Name:
Mouri Kagekazu

Age:
Mouri is 16.

Personality:
By her peers Mouri is known to be very eccentric, as she has a unique way of speaking that isn't common for a girl her age. Speech aside she is known for her dramatic movements, whether that be poses or just simply walking. This can be chalked up to her being a chuunibyou, or a chuuni for short. Along with this, she often claims to have a secret power hiding beneath her glasses. And if she were to take off her glasses and look at someone, their life would be at risk. Or in her own words "The darkness would spread and make its way to their heart."

Contrary to this there are rare times where she breaks out of character. Usually this occurs when she is shocked or flustered. Or when she thinks she is alone.

Many have speculated as to why she behaves the way she does, but no one can seem to come up with a satisfactory or conclusive answer. The conversations quickly tend to become a debate on whether she's just doing this for attention or if there's something seriously wrong with her.
However, because of her chuuni behavior she is often a laughing stock amongst her classmates. Despite the scrutiny she receives she is still convinced of her dark powers.

Background:
Mouri comes from a biracial background consisting of a Japanese father and an American mother. She has been living in Japan with her younger brother ever since she was 5, and had only recently moved to Matsuyama recently. Previously she lived in Nagazora, where she went to their local high school. Her chuuni behavior would begin to manifest after conflict started arising within the family and in her school life. Their relationship with each other grew strained, and nearly broke entirely with the "death" of her younger brother.

Magical Girl

Magical Girl weapon:
A sword that can transform into a flail. The sword is able to shoot out slashes that are made out of magic. These slashes are able to counter projectiles, but only when they're timed perfectly. (Similar to a Fire Emblem character's counter from smash-) Aside from this it is generally useful for dealing damage and covering a wide range. In flail form the weapon is able to cause shockwaves when hit against the ground.

Soul Gem color:
Midnight blue with starts dotted all over.

Magical Girl wish:
(Plus ability detail)
Mouri wished for her brother's revival. Through this wish she gained the ability to bring back the dead. This however does not extend to magical girls. Her limit is up to 8 people or animals at a time. With more experience it seems she may be able to keep more undead beings with her. She can command individual members or command them as a whole group. Each being has their own health and can be killed rather easily.

Mouri is able to revive two types of undead:
Ghosts and zombies.
Ghosts can possess objects, people, and familiars in some cases, but have limited time to stick around. After their time is up they will disappear, and they will not come back unless she revives another one. All ghosts share the same time limit no matter when she revives them. It also takes more energy to reanimate ghosts. On the bright side, ghosts cannot be physically hurt.

Zombies on the other hand are the opposite. They are obviously slow and sometimes lack proper brain functions, but can stay a lot longer than ghosts can. Unlike ghosts zombies have individual time limits. She can tell when a zombie is near its limit by its physical appearance, as its body will start to slowly rot.

Mouri is able to mix and match these two undead types.

Magical Girl wish's background:
The sun had set on that fateful day. In the darkness, Mouri went searching for her brother who had run off into the woods after failing a play he was participating in. The building in which the play took place was not too far from the woods. Before she knew it she was in the heart of the woods, and was surrounded by darkness. A voice called out to her. A familiar one. Her brother was near a tree stump, sniveling and crying. Before she could scold him for running away, their world of normalcy came to a freeze. The scenery around them changed in both color and shape. They were trapped in a labyrinth. Immediately some familiars began to attack them. Despite not knowing what was happening Mouri tried to protect her brother. But to no avail. He was taken and eaten in the blink of an eye. And that's when Kyubey appeared. No matter if this was going to work or not, she had to take the chance. So she quickly agreed to be a magical girl.

Before that had transpired Kyubey came to her a week prior. Instead of wishing for something immediately she tried to interrogate the creature for as long as she could. Before this she wasn't sold on the idea, and perhaps she would continue to be if she hadn't found herself in a dire situation.
(Also this happened before they moved to Matsuyama.)

Accepted.

"I may not be that skilled with a sword like my big brother, but I swear I'll fight to the end for his sake!"

Age:
16

Personality:
Brave, reckless, and kind to others. She is one to get excited for watching mecha anime, as well as building plastic models of the mecha she watches. Its a coping mechanism she has to help ease the pain in her heart from seeing her older dying from getting ran over by a truck several years back, as he gave his own life to protect her. If she lost anyone else that was important to her, bad things would happen.....

Background:
Previously mentioned, Chie's brother died when she was a young age. His death had mentally scarred her for life, and she tries to do everything she can to forget about it. From building plastic models to watching anime to making friends, she just wants to forget that everyone eventually dies at some point. A couple of years after that incident, Chie was caught in a witches Laberynth, with a couple of her friends. When the witch came to kill her friends, she was afraid of losing them. That was when Kyube came to offer her a wish. She wished she had her brother's strength to fight the witch off. That was when her soul gem materialized and she became a magical girl for the first time.

Even though her new powers help her protect those she loves from harm, the incident from the past has partially darkened her soul gem, and the darkness in it never fully goes away.

Magical Girl weapons:
A Sword Gun, a shield, and two blades of different sizes. The sword gun shoots beams of magic energy.

Soul Gem color:
Emerald Green, but a small part of it is covered in black shadows.

Magical Girl wish:
The strength of her own brother to fight the witch who was about to kill her and her friends.

Magical Girl wish's background:
While this has been discussed earlier, it's important to be reminded that Chie's wish was made in an immediate moment of both fear and helplessness. The wish for her brother's strength did grant her impressive sword fighting skills, but at the same time it is slowly corrupting her soul gem. If it ever turns completely black, dire consequences would happen....

Accepted. I like the ticking time bomb part of her wish but I want to make sure you know that the only thing that would happen is becoming a witch.

Going with the eternal 50% dark soul gem or the rapid darkening soul gem from ooc talk

Hina Kanako
Age:
14
Appearance:
tumblr_f8187ec763d7433f0a8e5b20cc1a058a_10f7708b_1280.jpg
Personality:
The character's general personality. After a lifetime spent in the background, Hina's grown to attempt to distance herself from her prior persona of meek apathy as much as she could. After being inspired by a certain individual about a year ago, she radically transformed herself into a blatant attention-whore. Eager to stand above others and rub it in their faces as much as possible, Hina's become loud and confrontational in the worst way possible. Downplaying the importance of anyone besides her 'Inspiration', Hina's attempts at standing out seem to have convalesced into simply dragging down those around her in order to prop up the image of herself she so desperately craves. As a result, she's quickly become the bane of many of her classmates, driving her to rely more and more on the presence of her best friend to reaffirm herself.

In truth, without her best friend constantly guiding and building her up, Hina's desperate moves to steal the spotlight from everyone around her would've driven her into serious trouble long ago. Though she doesn't recognize it, she's become over reliant on this friend's encouragement ever since meeting her. Away from her, Hina's cultivated persona falls apart far easier, leaving her more prone to fits of panic and anger.

Background:
For the vast majority of her life, Hina had felt insignificant. From being the fourth in a set of seven siblings to never really having an appearance or persona that stood out, she dwelled in the background of most people's awareness for most of her life. With the successes of her siblings always managing to outshine her, Hina quickly became disillusioned with trying at anything and quickly began slipping into a state of complete apathy. Her grades were terrible, and she'd begun to isolate herself more and more from others.

Her downward spiral was halted by one person, one girl she'd met about a year ago who almost seemed like the opposite of Hina in every way. Supremely confident, enthusiastic and charismatic to an almost unimaginable level, Hina saw in that girl someone who she always wanted to be. That girl quickly became her best friend, and Hina did everything she could to learn and mimic her to the best of her abilities. Following her around constantly in order to learn as much as possible, those around Hina quickly began to take note in the rapid change in her persona.

Hina felt motivated for the first time forever, quickly jumping to the top of her class solely to lord her knowledge over the rest of her peers. With her best friend's knowledge in hand, she became stylish and flaunted her newly perfected looks every which way she could. The girl who previously could never draw eyes was suddenly dominating the attention of any who drew near her whether they liked it or not. Now, more than ever, she knew exactly how a girl like her should be treated.

The only threat to that came in the form of her family's business: The Kana-Mora Market.

Recently, a larger corporation had been sucking their customer base dry, and tighter budgeting meant Hina would have a harder time styling herself for the top of the social ladder. She knew what had to be done, her best friend had always said that important people made their dreams come true no matter the cost, but Hina wasn't sure if she had the capability of doing what was needed. How could one girl be able to raise her family's business beyond what the Tafton Corporation could produce?

Kyubey brought the solution, an easy one at that. And all she needed to do was kill some things once in a while?

Hina knew exactly what her best friend would've said, and took that deal without a hint of delay.

Magical Girl weapon:
The weapon the character is given when they transform into a magical girl. Hina can summon large flasks of juice that she can form into fruit bats. The flasks themselves explode violently into sweet smelling clouds of vision obscuring deliciousness when shattered, while the bats can form swarms that rip and tear at her opponents. They also taste delicious if eaten.
Magical Girl appearance:
Pictured above
Soul Gem color:
Vivid Violet
Magical Girl wish:
"Kana-Mora Market has the best fruits! It should be bigger, no... it must be the most successful business in the whole city!"
Magical Girl wish's background:
The reason and background for the wish.
Hina refused to let her newfound rise to Notoriety get crushed under the weight of financial competition. With the Kana-Mora Market consumer base floundering, she demanded Kyubey grant it success unparalleled by any business in the entire city. Convinced that people of import stand by their choices, Hina didn't hesitate when making this demand even after hearing of the need to slay witches. She made this wish quite recently, and has been a magical girl for no more than two days.

Accepted. It's been a while since I last saw a character with such a terribly unlikable personality.

I like that you made a side character from your posts into a real character. Although, I have to wonder. Who's her best friend? Hmm... Really quite puzzling...

Well, the character sheet looks quite rough, but it's OK besides a few things. Why's she in Matsuyama? There's nothing in here that says she moved, or gives her any reason to be in Matsuyama, which is where everything is taking place.

For another thing, are you reusing a character sheet or something like that? It's not against any rules, but there's a point that refers to her as "Umiko". Are you SURE you want to go with that power? There's already a character who's power is summoning Pokémon.
