Answered Macros

Basically it lets you save stuff and load it again later. Like the set up for your average posts or some really complicated bbcode you don’t want to repeatedly do.

At the risk of thread necromancy...

I see under https://www.rpnation.com/account/macros/active/ that there's a category for Active vs. Inactive Macros. However, I can't seem to find a way to inactivate a post macro without deleting it. Does deletion automatically make a Post Macro inactive (and thus available for view)?

My Macros are getting cluttered, yet I'd rather not erase the old ones entirely in case I want to borrow ideas from them in the future.

There is not a way to simply swap an active macro to an inactive one sadly. I wish there was myself. Maybe one day the forum software developers will improve that feature.

Appreciate the answer!

So if there's not a way to inactivate a macro...why is there an Inactive Macros category? What's supposed to go in there?

This is something The Dark Wizard The Dark Wizard would have to answer. I'm not sure about it and I've never truly used it.
