Gender:
 Male
Sexuality:
Heterosexual
Age:
He looks about 21, but in actuality he's about 97
Appearance:
Lyle stands at about six feet two inches tall.  He's rather pale and has copious freckles everywhere on his body. His eyes are a stark ice blue and his hair is dyed a silvery grey. (Although his natural hair is blonde)  His facial features are very gaunt, giving him an almost dead look, but he likes to think he rocks the dead look.  Lyle's lacks much muscle definition and is quite skinny, making his limbs very noodle like, but he carries himself in a way that he doesn't look like a living noodle. He has two tattoos.  One of an iris on his forearm in memoriam of his beloved grandmother.  And another in memoriam of his late wife.  This one is a heart made a music notes and roses and it is placed on his right pectoral.
Power:
He has the ability to look past someone's outer shell and see who they really are on the inside.  This is how his met his late wife.
Personality:
Lyle is very cocky. He's arrogant and full of himself, but despite all that, people can't help but love him.  He's outgoing, but he'll only truly talk to you if he thinks you're worth his time. He's built this rough exterior due to his past and he doesn't like letting people in. And if he does find you worth his time, he becomes very over protective. He will fight anyone who crosses him or his friends. He's prone to violence and anger but only if he's provoked by others. Besides his bad boy "I don't give a shit" exterior, Lyle is extremely smart and has a soft spot for the romantics.  He never shows this side to anyone though.  The only person who's seen him get sappy was his late wife.
Backstory:
Lyle was born in Le Mans, France to his mother Odette Dubois. Lyle never knew his father because he had raped his mother and didn't bother to stick around to make her an honest woman. During this time it was the early 1900's and back then if a woman lost her virginity before marriage she was unfit for anyone to marry.  So Odette raised her son with her mother, Gizella Dubois.  From a young age, Lyle loved to cause trouble at school. He enjoyed the attention he got considering his mother was always working the factories so the three of them could eat.  The trouble he caused at school would be reported to his mother Odette, but almost always she gave the job of disciplining Lyle to her mother Gizella. Gizella understood Lyle's reasons for lashing out at school, and she would always do her best to make him feel loved and cared for. (But she never hesitated to smack the shit out of him for being an idiot)  After a while, Lyle stopped acting out and became very close with his grandmother. That was until they moved to the US. so Lyle's mother could find better work.  So when Lyle was ten years old, he, his mother, and his grandmother, all moved to the united states. As soon as Lyle got back into school he started acting out again. He missed his friends in France and all of the children made fun of his accent. Lyle shut out not only his mother but his grandmother as well.  This continued for years and Gizella was getting older and didn't have the strength to discipline Lyle, let alone comfort him during this difficult time.  At the age of 16, Gizella died and Lyle took her death extremely hard. He was grief stricken, feeling as though it was his fault his grandmother had died. If he hadn't been such a terrible grandson she wouldn't have been so stressed out all the time. But, time passed and he soon was able to set aside his grief to commemorate her memory. When he turned 18, he got a tattoo of his grandmother's favorite flower, the iris, on his forearm.

After Lyle graduated high school, He went to college in a city not so far away from his mother, but far away enough.  While in this new city, he met the most wonderful woman named Charlotte.  She was the daughter of a professor at his school. A professor who had taken quite the liking to Lyle.  He often would invite Lyle to lunch with him or sometimes even to sunday dinner.  It was the first time Lyle had went to sunday dinner at his professor's house that he learned he was an immortal.  As soon as he walked into the room he could see all of these bright colors radiating off of his hosts.  His professor was a vibrant green and his wife was a beautiful shade of pink.  But their daughter, their beautiful daughter Charlotte glowed the brightest.  There were so many colors radiating off of her.  Yellow, pink, blue, orange, you name it.  And when she smiled.  God when she smiled.  Lyle felt like he was floating on air.  Lyle and Charlotte became very close as she had been studying the French language and history for quite some time.  What first started off as friendship soon blossomed into something so much more.  Lyle fell deeply in love with Charlotte and she was possibly the only person to ever see his true colors. Charlotte not only was extremely bright but she had a fondness for music.  Her voice was angelic and she played piano like nothing Lyle had ever heard.  They married and lived a happy life together but never had children.  Charlotte was incapable but Lyle never stopped loving her.  He loved her until the very end and even after that.  In 1951, on January 21st, Charlotte Alexandra Abbott Dubois, died of a strange disease unbeknown to doctors of that time, at the age of 31.  But as medicine advanced, Lyle would learn that he lost his wife to breast cancer.  After his wife's death, Lyle fell deep into a depression and did not come out of it for many years.  Watching his wife crumble before him while he stayed healthy and young broke his heart.  When he finally recovered from the loss, Lyle got another tattoo over his heart.  A heart shaped out of music  notes and roses, Charlotte's two favorite things.
Additional Information:

Nowadays, Lyle works as a French instructor for highschool students and he's also a French tutor for wealthy children.
