Personality: Damien is cold, stoic and impassive on the surface, but deep down he’s a jerk with anger issues. He walks through life with a chip on his shoulder, in part due to trauma and in part from a naturally standoffish and unfriendly personality. Damien seldom actively targets people, but won’t hesitate to insult and belittle others when they make mistakes. He always wears long-sleeved and fully-covering clothing, to hide the scars from a house fire. If anyone saw the burns, he would be infuriated, as he sees them as something disgusting. Damien has a severe phobia of fire, and especially smoke.

Brief Backstory: Damien lived a pretty normal life with his family, until he was ten or so. A house fire destroyed his home, and left him severely scarred across his torso and legs, necessitating years of therapy and treatment. Although largely recovered, Damien’s life has still been immensely derailed by what happened. When a white raven with creepily human eyes appeared on his bed and offered him a ‘job’, Damien readily took it. After all, how scary could it be?

Magical Girl Appearance: The same as he is at present, but with a skintight covering of jagged obsidian with veins of molten heat, as well as golden detailing. It absorbs his regular clothing until he needs to de-transform.

Abilities:
Dragon’s Might: His physical might increases when he’s in his magical boy state. This includes simple strength and agility, as well as a heightened resistance to fire, and climbing ability.

Breath of Fire: Damien can exhale a wash of bright flame, an ability he hates and distrusts.

Black Wings: Damien can create a pair of vast black wings for flight, but is restricted in tight spaces.

Dragonblooded: In rare instances, at the height of emotion, Damien can transform into a horse-sized dragon. In that state, he’s armored, sharp and studded with natural weaponry, as well as being capable of flight and fiery breath.

Brief Backstory:
Kathy has lived a normal life. She goes to a private school which her dad is the principle of, she has a stay at home mom and a little brother who is 11. Things were pretty normal that is until she came across this strange creature one night when she was walking home. It had grown dark and there was a full moon out. Nothing really out of the ordinary but Kathy couldn't help but feel strange the night itself felt strange. The moon had slowly turned red but no one had seemed to notice but her. She couldn't help but stop and stare at it. She felt herself reaching her hand up towards the sky like she could touch it until suddenly she heard a voice. Startled she turned around to see a strange creature and it looked like a cat? Kathy wasn't sure he had white fur and strange red/pink eyes. He seemed to have a friendly smile but there was something ominous about the creature. It felt like time had frozen around them as once again she was the only one to notice the strange happenings. The creature offered her a job which in return came with great powers and he could grant her anything she wished for. As soon as she accepted the moon went back to normal and the creature suddenly disappeared.

Moonlight Dreams - She releases white butterflies that fly to her target and cover them completely and drains her targets energy until they either break free of the butterflies or power down from their magical form.

Dark Moon Nightmares Tiara Magic - She takes the tiara off her head and turns from gold to black and she throws it at her target, and it attaches itself to their head and the target starts to hallucinate a dark moon night and their worst nightmares/fears they can be damage mentally and physically. Target can get out of this by trying to forcefully pull the tiara off or beat the nightmares mentally and having the tiara fall off. The tiara will also fall off if the target passes out. (This is a power she can't no use all the time especially on a single person multiple times. Cause eventually they could become numb to it's affects. This would be used very rarely.)
Blood Moon Sword - This red sword can't kill it's target or cut flesh but it can inflict pain. For example if she was have the sword go through the targets heart they wouldn't die or bleed but they would feel the pain/torture of it.

Personality: The girl who seemingly knows everything and has a plan for just about anything: The amount of effort and focus Beatrix puts into her life, whether it be menial tasks or hard work, can make her seem intimidating to approach. After all, the teachers favorite perfectionist who always follows the rule just has to be a too-serious stick in the mud, right? Contrary to what one may think, she is actually a very amiable and easy to get along with girl. Offering a smile and hand to even the most neglected of outcasts, Beatrix will give anyone a chance before placing judgement on them. Even then, she will almost never publicly show disdain towards another and try to remain diplomatic. In a group, she is the voice of reason that will offer logical advice and spark thoughtful discussions, while also enjoying some mild playfulness from time to time.

However, there is much, much more to this studious girl than meets the eye.

Brief Backstory:
Second child of extremely wealthy parents, Beatrix always had whatever she ever wanted and had a very simple family life. Being a well behaved kid she rarely if ever got into any trouble with her parents, and her relationship with her older brother was as tight as could be. Beatrix would always bug him to play or ask for help understanding something from her homework, and he'd always happily oblige. The two were inseparable, which made his departure for college overseas when she was twelve heartbreaking for the young girl. Even though they kept in contact she'd still frequently miss his company and silly attitude, so when she was told he'd be coming back to visit for her graduation into high school she was more than elated. She was going to be the class valedictorian after all, and couldn't wait to see how proud her big brother would be of her.

Unfortunately, she never got a chance to see his face again.

Keep them at arm's length, far enough to ward off a mutually assured bad time. Ira's sour mood isn't set against the backdrop of a tragic past, or insecurities that trap the heart. It's a preference. A mindset born of a propensity for the taste of vile words. Where the devil may care she does not. The only solace she'll offer the layman is her desire to stay at arm's lengths, keeping herself where she belongs. But she's happy, wading in the bile of her happiness, content in her ways, enough to claim she's more than happy with thriving in the bog-standard of her life.

Could things have been made better if Ira knew the acceptance of a family? Or maybe if she knew the warmth of peers. Maybe, maybe not. Useless musings. What Ira knows to be true is that she never needed to feel as though she belonged. Her home was as welcome as a foster home could be, but she didn't need it. Her class was as welcoming as a group of snot-nosed brats could be, but she didn't want it. So if Ira was to recall the younger days she would recall days spent alone, days spent yelling, fighting with words as sharp as swords, and sometimes fists as clubs. And she'd recall a smile on her face the whole time. If there's one thing she could say of note about her past, is that it's consistent. Ever since she was young she never knew herself to make an effort to understand others. So she lived the easy life of mundane loneliness.

Though she'd never make the effort to mention it, the kindness she had been shown by her family was something that stuck in her mind always. Inexplicable. The kindness of those kids, and of Mr. and Mrs.Ico. Her family tired by water, always so damn kind. She could never forget them. After all, Ira needs to pay them back on and all before she can feel at peace, attaining her dream of being alone truly.

[Abilities]
~Heat Rising: Burning Passion~
As success leads to success, her fire only rises higher. Ira's abilities become more potent as she does better, as she fights cooler. Upon activation Ira's body becomes enhanced, stronger, faster, more durable, heating up. As the conflict continues and Ira gets into the groove she begins to manifest fire. She's able to control these wisps of heat to her limited will. Once she reaches a fever pitch, both her body and fire reach a level of terrifying might. A veritable snowball effect. However, the inverse is true. As Ira is put on the backfoot, she becomes weaker. If her attempts to gain tempo are stopped outright, she'll lose the heat. Though, it's not impossible to lose in a cool way. The biggest caveat of her own ability by far, her own flames harm her.

~Cool Off: Break Time~
A passive ability that only occurs after Heat Rising has ended. This ability works to rapidly restore her body from burn wounds inflicted on her while Heat Rising was active. However, such an ability isn't instant and is easily slowed down if Ira moves around too much. Not to mention, the more burn wounds the longer the recovery, and the more painful the recovery therein.

Personality: Flanora is the type of person to make up a plan, but neglect the details of it, instead opting to just improvise until they achieve their ultimate goal, them being the smart but lazy type. Typically they don't like making decisions and prefer to let others they trust or like to make decisions for them, which makes them pretty easy to manipulate even if they do know you have bad intentions. Though earning their trust and friendship can be very difficult especially since they barely take the time to remember most peoples names, and have such a strict criteria you have to meet in order to earn their trust or friendship, even then you would have to earn their respect in some way in order for them to even take enough to notice of someone, the first sign of them taking notice of someone is them bothering to remember someones name. When doing something alone they don't care too much if they fail or not, but if they are doing it for someone else then they do whatever it takes to get the job done and can be very persistent when doing so and is willing to go to whatever lengths they need to complete their objective. Though they can be very logical, Flanora tends to be the type to put all options on the table even if they do seem crazy. Although they actually do have a competitive side to them and they tend to like taking on the best, and they tend to pay more close attention to them in order to figure them out and make taking them down easier. Overall they are quite tomboyish and can be quite cold hearted and even cruel, but they do genuinely enjoy challenges, and will play smart when it comes to overcoming those challenges. They also tend to hate working with others, despite wanting to be with others, it's more of a sense that they feel they have to slow down in order to make sure that others can keep up or them having to go out of their way to help members of their group. Though if they do have to team with others they would rather team with someone that earned their respect and they know can handle any situation that is thrown at them in a effective manner.

Brief Backstory: Flanoras parents were divorced at a young age for them and they were raised mostly by their mother, while her father kept their old home. Despite this they typically felt more closer to their father than their mother, and would get into constant arguments with their mother over certain subjects. They typically only had a small group of friends when it came to school, but got way more picky about their friends after one of them socially betrayed them. This caused them to eventually find their best friend, who they trusted completely, and it wasn't until their mother made them move that their friendship began to fracture after they lost contact with one another. They started to try to find a new best friend in the new location they moved to, but none met the criteria they were looking for. Causing them to turn to games, where they unleashed their competitive nature and started to want to be better than others doing, whatever immoral things in order to get above them if they had to. On the Eve of their birthday they found a strange creature that intruded themselves to her. She was very suspicous when they offered them power, but after dwelling on it they grew to trust the creature enough after venting out their fustrations to them. After that they agreed to the offer and began listening and doing whatever the Tsukaim asked of them no matter how odd the request had been.

Concept: Phantom Of The Abyss

Abilities:
Chain Scythe Of The Abyss - This is a multiweapon Chained Scythe. The Scythe is best used for attacking targets with deadly intent. While the Chains are best used for restraining targets, though hostile action is a ranged option as well for it. The chains are able to controled through their will and can expand to a range of 10 yards. Though the they are unable to both will their chains and fight with their scythe at the same time due to how much focus it takes.

Phantoms Cloak (Passive): When in their Magic Girl state their eyesight is heavily increased when in dark areas, effectively giving them nightvision plus a vision enhancment boost. Their body is also passively shrouded in darkness, which serves as to mostly increase their speed and make them difficult to see in the dark , though their speed and vision is deminished in areas with a great amount of light in it.

Other Side Of The Abyss: They can create large black holes that are big enough for a person to fit through. They can then use that hole like a portal to quickly get to locations they know or transport things.

Into The Abyss: by opening only one large black hole, they can transport themselves into a more private area. The area would be dark, like being in space but without the stars and planets, but for some reason anyone would be able to see in it. They have a little control over the area being able to turn off the gravity, make it so that they freefall or just make it just be like a normal room with nothing in it but darkness and what feels like a invisible floor.

Strengths:
Great in the Dark or at Night.
One vs One
Is very High Speed based.
Great for Restraining targets

Weakness:
Dealing with those that have flying Abilities
Light and Fire
Not great for taking hits.
Though risky, people can follow them into the Abyss.

Grania is unfailingly kind and polite, but also cheerful and sociable. This characteristic stemmed from her foster mother who often said something like “Always treat others in the way you expect to be treated.” As such, she always behave in a positive manner with those around her, speaking with others in a sweet and respectful manner, making sure that she ‘s not making anyone uncomfortable with her topic or action, giving positive outlook on things and so on.

Despite her apparent soft and gentle nature, Grania is an empathic and strong-willed person who can be extremely determined to the things that interest her or she cares about, such as her hobby or the well being of anyone she viewed as friend or family. She fusses and frets over those who are hurt, sick or just feeling down and has a soft spot for victims of one-sided violence. She also never turns down any request of favor so long as it’s within her ability. In fact, even if it’s beyond her ability, she’s more than willing to sacrifice anything to make up for it, as seen by her becoming magical girl after only a few minutes talk with her Tsukaima.

Speaking of hobby, there was this one thing that is inseparable from Grania’s new mother; game. Despite her social status and time consuming job as a psychiatrist and pediatrician, she is a hardcore gamer who topped countless tournaments of various genres of games (while completely ignoring her own quote from above), In fact, she even used games to aid Grania’s psychological recovery. As a result, Grania became a proficient gamer herself. In spite of her kind and soft personality, she specializes in FPS and RPG games and has zero problem killing her enemies there.

Brief Backstory:
Grania lived a normal and happy life, at least until 2 years ago. It all started from when her dad was caught cheating. The next thing she knew, her mom and her younger sister was brutally killed. She had no clear recollection of the event after that, but in the end the one who was lying on the ground with a knife piercing his heart was the man she used to call “dad”.

Devastated, Grania was adopted by the woman who was a top-notched psychiatrist and the best maternal figure anyone could ask for. Even then, it took her almost a year to recover enough to start smiling and enjoying something. After another year had passed, she finally managed to attend school again after hadn’t been there for almost 2 years. Thanks to her massive effort to reclaim her normal life, she was elected as a class representative and became a popular girl who made a lot of friends, including a certain talking teddy bear with vivid color that she met on her way home...

Abilities:
- Flight

Grania has a pair of wings that automatically appear along with her transformation. That said, her flight is based on mental image and her concept rather than the wing itself. As in, she doesn’t need to flap her wing to fly. Also, if those wings are physically damaged or even completely destroyed but Grania herself doesn’t pay too much attention to it, then she would still be able to continue flying.

- Magical Arrow
Grania is able to conjure a bow and arrows out of thin air. The bow is gold in color and each arrow will always has a reddish pink heart-shaped fletching. She can also infuse each arrow with different types of magical energy, granting them various effects, ranging from nuke to her namesake love arrow. Each arrow can only has one effect at a time, which will also be reflected by the shape, form and glowing color of the arrowhead.

- Eros Barrier
Grania can project heart-shaped magical shields that block attacks and hostile magics. Also, if a person without magical power or strong willpower, or a beast with inferior intelligence comes into contact with this shield, they will temporarily become more kind and compassionate, unable to harm others around them.

- Princess of Heart
Grania can remotely control the movement of heart-shaped objects or objects with an image or picture of a heart within a certain radius around herself. She also passively learns their existence, properties and location. This ability applies even while she is not transformed, but the range as well as the number of objects she can move will be greatly reduced.

- Telescopic Sight
Grania can enhance her eyes with magic in order to zoom in her vision. Even though her range is essentially unlimited, it takes some time for her eyes to gradually zoom in before she could see at vast distance. In addition, using and maintaining this ability requires a lot of concentration comparable to that of threading a needle. As such, once Grania starts scoping, she will have to be completely uninterrupted and cannot change her position or the direction she is facing, or she will have to start over.

Additionally, Grania has passively enhanced eyesight. Even while not transformed, her eyesight always remains at an ordinary human’s peak performance.

Appearance:
A short girl whose head is topped with a veritable mane of poorly kempt hair. Nana always seems to have a look in her eye that says "I really just want to go home", and usually shrinks her frame to appear even smaller than she normally would.

Personality:
A quiet young lady with a perpetually unfortunate look in her eyes. She's a skittish young lady, as allergic to the spotlight as she is to the springtime air, and not too terribly bright a student, either. Her grades are average in most of her subjects, and in class she's normally too busy daydreaming or avoiding eye contact during group assignments to make a play at being studious. If not for her parents' gung-ho insistence on her attendance, she likely only show up to class two or three times a week. In general, she has very little faith in her own abilities and is the type to only do something if she's the last possible candidate for the job; not because she's lazy, but rather because she's certain that she'd probably just cock it up.

When she's acting as a Magical Girl, however, Nana is freed from the mire of hesitation and self-doubt that usually weighs her down. Whether it's the guise of anonymity afforded to her by the role's, well, magic, the sensation of power that transforming fills her body with, or just the fact that she's a god-damn Magical Girl, she's not sure, but when Nana is transformed she feels like she's on top of the world. She's ought to take actions that would normally be beyond her sheepish disposition, and just generally act like the shining sunflower you'd expect of one in her position being rather than a wilting wallflower as she usually is. Her transformation isn't, however, some sort of wonder drug that heals all of her ails, and when things start going wrong for her she's still quick to panic and fall into distress.

Brief Backstory:
Nana, or, Nana Nanana, isn't the daughter of a pair of particularly notable, or particularly dead parents. The source of all her stutters and stammers isn't some grand tragedy that he's hiding in the depths of her repressed past, or something of the like, but rather something of an unfortunate mundanity. When she was quite young, Nana was never really able to get along with other children. She was naturally quiet, didn't liked whatever the other kids thought he was supposed to like, and never really 'grew into' getting along with others, like her parents seemed to hope she would. Before long, the other children closed the social gap that lay between her and them, but as bullies rather than friends, and that was that.

Fast forward ten-odd years, and things are a bit better. While she was still a social outcast, the kids-turned-teens at her new school seemed to have the courtesy to just ignore her, rather than calling her names and throwing things at her, though she's more skittish than she's ever been. But, then, imagine her surprise when a girl with as much self-proclaimed plainness, mundanity, and uselessness as she was approached to be a real-life Magical Girl!

Or rather, don't, because she cried and thought that someone had been mean enough to spike her lunch with magic mushrooms for about an hour before her Tsukaima managed to get through to her, and she doesn't want anybody to find out.

As 'Jekyll', Nana's transformed appearance might be described as her ideal self. When she transforms, Nana grows about ten centimetres taller, her hair straightens out, loses all the knots that it's usually riddled with, and fashions itself into a neat braid. She even gets Mahou-Shoujo-Brand toner, eyeliner and lip-gloss. Her outfit is a fairly stereotypical witch robe, which she wears buttoned-up top, and reveals long, pleated skirt below.

When she becomes 'Hyde', the only physical change that occurs is her hair's shift to an inky, jet black, but in terms of her demeanour, the difference between the two is like night and day. Her movements become frenzied, and her body language somewhere between wild and drunk. Most strikingly, her overcoat is torn open to reveal a neat, tidy-looking dress shirt decorated with a series of miscellaneous charms which seem to have no actual purpose.

Concept: Jeykll and Hyde

Abilities:
  • Jeykll and Hyde - Nana's magical girl abilities are sectioned off into two separate "forms". The first, Jeykll, has access to an assortment of basic spells that she refers to as 'Charms', which she can use to empower herself and teammates and provide other forms of general support such as healing. Her offensive abilities in this form are fairly limited, as she can only fire generic 'magic missiles', which while not useless, could be compared to a peashooter in the face of some of her peers' firestorms, blood-hungry blades, and etc.

    As Hyde, on the other hand, she loses the ability to cast her Charms and instead is able to access an array of 'Hexes'. Like her Charms, they aren't forwardly offensive but instead specialize in weakening the enemy and manipulating the battlefield. She's able to fire magic missiles like in her Hyde form, as well as conjuring magical barriers which resemble a ring of runes as a more straightforward means of defending herself than her Hexes.

    The forms could be referred to as a 'support' and 'offensive' form respectively, but even when working alone Nana is reluctant to access her Hyde form, as it causes a notable shift in her personality.

  • Charms [Jekyll] - Jeykll's Charms are a series of support-based spells that can be broken up into a few categories. First up is her Bolstering Magic, which simply increase one of the target's attributes, such as their physical strength, magical output, or speed. Second is her Healing Spells, which do exactly what they say on the tin, and are more powerful the closer she is to the target. Third and final is Generic Spells, which is the ability to fire bolts of pure magic, or form shields in the same manner.

  • Hexes [Hyde] - Hyde's Hexes focus on manipulating the battlefield and inhibiting her foes ability to do much of anything. The first type of spell she's able to use are her Jinxes, which weaken whatever they're aimed at in more abstract methods than Hyde's Buffs empower them. If aimed at a bridge for example, it might collapse when a car next drives over it, and when aimed at an enemy, they might miss their next attack, slip over, or suffer some other sort of mishap. Next is her Manipulation Magic, which allows her to quite literally manipulate magic to varying degrees. Against enemy spells, she's only able to redirect them slightly and reduce the damage she'd take, but she's able to control her own magic almost perfectly. She can guide her Generic Magic, which she shares with Hyde, with as much precision as she can her own hands and can even make it harmless for more covert purposes.

Chiyome is the definition of a split personality with her magical girl perception. Normally lost and shy, the transformation gives her the confidence to be whatever she wants to be. She wouldn't give up that confidence for anything, and can be cruel and cold to keep her dreams alive.

As a regular girl, Chiyome could be a walking example of awkward. She has a hard time making friends or understanding those around her, often her mind has jumped to a topic far ahead of everyone else. Just awkwardly standing there while a conversation is going on waiting for a moment of input can be normal for her. Of course, with her attention span, sometimes it ends up just standing there. She's deeply jealous of her classmates as a result. If she couldn't fit in she at least wants to be special, and at the offer to be 'special', Chiyome jumped on it in a heartbeat. (-insert 'poor me can't do anything right' character trope-)

As a magical girl, Chiyome's confidence skyrockets. She's crafted a persona of a perfect ninja, unwavering, obedient, and cold, and lives by it completely. Get a job done, defeat monsters, no unnecessary questions asked. No one knows its her anyways, so she can get away with being far cheekier than she is normally, being somewhat a smart ass, and finding 'no kill like overkill' to be a modus operandi. Showing off is just proving her worth.

The stark difference only made Chiyome's regular attitude worse, she can do so much as a magical girl, but when regular her, she's just... normal. Because of this Chiyome is the first to jump at the chance to transform, and the first to jump to violence.


Skills & Hobbies:
  • Book worm - Chiyome is a major fan of fantasy books, and is almost always reading through them.
  • Eidetic memory - Chiyome's memory for images she has seen is very good, able to remember sights and in particular books and page number extraordinarily well. Unfortunately, it does not expand to audio memory. You could tell her something 50 times and she'd forget every time.
  • Creative - It is less that Chiyome thinks out side the box, and more than she is unaware there is a box. The conclusions she draws can be strange, but sometimes and outside view is helpful.

Brief Backstory:

Shy, awkward, uncoordinated, friendless, the general loner Mary Su growing up. Chiyome always had dreams to be big and special, but never really had the skills. She's jumped from club to club, but has found herself wanting, no matter what she's tried. Sewing? She can't keep the pattern straight Flag Twirling, well, after 'the incident', not only was she kicked from the club, she wasn't allowed in the equipment room anymore. So on and so forth.

She always had a good mind and memory, but never did well as she just couldn't focus in school. She would read books, and get lost in them, thinking 'why can't life be like fantasy? Can't I be a daring knight? A loved superhero?'

One night, she came home late from the library, hiding from the rest of her classmates, when a voice came to her.

"You're a coward. Don't feel like you can do anything right. Don't want to try."

It felt like Chiyome had been kicked... as a weasel appeared infront of her.

"How would you like to be... special?"

"I-I'd like that very much!"

And so the magical girl was born. All she had to do to be special, to have magical powers, was take care of a few ne'er do wells. Chiyome often thought 'what if I'm a ne'er do well...', but instantly recognized the answer. She'd keep on doing what she was already. She was special now. She COULDN'T let go of that chance.

Chiyome was happy to ditch her normal self to be a magical girl at every opportunity.

Magical Girl Appearance:

As Chiyome transforms, several cloths seem to pull out of the nearest wall, wrapping around her body as a top, leggings, wrists wraps and face masks, with parts of the cloth floating behind Chiyome at all times. The magical transformation also allows her to store stuff in the wall next to her, always taking her former outfit, especially the glasses and braids.

Patron: Kamaitachi - A weird weasel, Kamaitachi is sharp and cutting in his words, not caring about emotion, and stating his opinion without hesitation. Upon their first meeting, Kamaitachi cut Chiyome down for her lack of confidence, her avoidance of other people, but ended it with a very perceptive 'How would you like to be special?' Wherever he goes, the wind blows regardless of the weather, and a stench is on it. Petting him is... ill advised, as cuts appear as one touches him without explanation

Concept: Ittan-momen / Ninja

Abilities:

Unbreakable Cloth - While not truly unbreakable, the cloth that wraps around Chiyome is durable enough to wrap large monsters without tearing, and is nearly uncuttable, the sharpest blades softened against it. The cloth also is a poor conductor of heat and electricity. While these abilities are impressive, they do not protect the wearer except against blades. A punch still hurts, Chiyome has to avoid mostly in her encounters

Expandable Cloth- The cloth can expand and contract freely, allowing Chiyome to wrap objects and mummify them. The neck is her preferred target during this. Chiyome can also use them to travel, grabbing onto an object infront of her, and pulling herself towards them

Enhanced Perception - Chiyome no longer needs her glasses while transformed, able to sharply see everything around her. Her sense of smell and hearing both increase as well.

Enhanced Proprioception - Chiyome's coordination goes from could hardly run a straight line to advanced gymnastics, landing gracefully on most objects and flips in the air without a problem, knowing where each of her limbs are at each moment in time.

Camoflauge - The cloth can change colors. By standing against a wall and manipulating it, Chiyome is able to effectively blend in with the environment. With a great deal of concentration she can move while being invisible like this, but can't extend her cloth, meaning she can't attack

Dimensional Fold - a taxing ability, once per transformation, Chiyome can merge with her cloth, and scatter them, reforming in the distance where all the cloths reappear. It's a great way to disappear like a ninja, or avoid an attack, but Chiyome can only do it once.

I'm not sure I get what this concept is supposed to represent? Is it the grim reaper?
More so a Phantom, with the abyss being more symbollic in representing how they feel like their falling into the darkness.

Age: 17
Appearance: Tate has a tall and lanky frame, with a ruddy complexion and a shock of reddish-brown hair with way too much gel in it. (And dye, his natural color is a super pale blond) There's a dash of freckles across his cheeks and nose, and his eyes are pale green. Tate's clothing style is nothing special, mostly an assortment of tees, legwear, and hoodies.
Personality: Tate likes to think of himself as genre-savvy and above it all, the only one who can keep his cool and act with a level head when everyone else is knee-deep in their personal issues and angst. But while he's observant and usually the first to call people out on their bullshit, Tate is actually pretty wound-up most of the time and can quickly get emotional without realizing he's getting sucked into the drama.

Brief Backstory: Tate's parents both had poor relationships with their own parents growing up, and they made a promise not to inflict the same harm they'd recieved onto their children. All the love and support in the world didn't seem to stop him from worrying about what he wanted to do with his life, though, and it only took a few choice words from his Tsukaima to convince him to become a magical boy.

Neither are dark/light, they're supposed to more represent the duality of Jeykll and Hyde. Doctor Jeykll (a, well, doctor), for the healing and helping spells, Mister Hyde (see: the opposite of the good doctor, someone who harms and toys with people), for hindering and manipulation spells.
