Backstory

Backstory:
Lucius was born in a village located in Fiore named Hagrai, and was born into a rather poor family. They lived a small shack, but were happy. Ever since he was but a small child, he had only been taken cared of by his father who cared for Lucius for his most of his life. His mother was one who he considered to be a selfish woman for leaving him to his father who was not prepared for caring a child. Especially since they were currently in a state of poverty but despite that, his father loved and cared for him like any other truly loving father would. But little did Lucius know of his own heritage.

Growing up, they didn't have much of anything. His father had to steal food in order to feed them, and sometimes they couldn't eat food at all for a few days. Which he was good at. As Lucius grew up, he too eventually learned how to steal just as great as his father. The two would often run around the village in search for things to steal and take and overall had a good time together, even if they we're poor. The two of them were usually never caught in the act. It was also at this time that Lucius had begun to show signs of being able to use magic, which started off as just simple things here and there getting moved lightly and him becoming surrounded a bit by something.

His father took notice of this however and once he had, he decided that it was a good idea to tell Lucius what he actually was and that it was time to teach him on how to harness the powers of this magic properly. His father told Lucius of their blood line, and how he's actually part of long line of mages who all had wielded a magic named Psionic Grace, which was a magic which was passed down from generation to generation. His father being one of them, and that the reason of them being poor was that the blood line was nearly erased once with only him and his father being the last ones alive.

Upon hearing of all this, Lucius had many questions as to why the hell they were all killed and by whom, as well as why this information wasn't given to him earlier in his life. But he chose to not ask them, but instead accepts all of it. He didn't complain much, finding out that he was potentially one of the very last of a blood line was something he found to be exciting actually. Yet also a bit stressing because due to him being one of the last, he needs to survive. Until he manages to get a child at least. And until then, he would be carrying some heavy responsibility.

After the talk, his father then said that he was going to teach him how to utilize this magic. And with that, Lucius' training began. They typically did this everyday after eating some food and at the time of night. His father taught him how to properly control it all, on how he needed to focus and control himself to do such things. Which he found to be hard at first, but eventually caught the gist of it and managed to accomplish it. First came the telekinesis, then came the telepathy and finally the teleportation. Which was undoubtedly the hardest of the three to pull off, but he managed.

As the years have passed, he was now 14 years old. The two of them continued their usual lives as thieves that remained uncaught but instead of doing it the traditional way they used to, they used their magic to do it instead. Lucius only got better and better at his magic skills, and was now a bit more better at his thieving skills. Though it was not long before they were finally caught in the act stealing. And stealing something that wasn't like anything they stole before, something that was much more valuable than food. It was a ring, one which once belonged to some snobby rich guy who recently came to live somewhere near the village. His father had the crazy idea to try and steal from the guy to make some money, and they both agreed upon it.

And so, they did it. They had only managed to grab only two things however, which was a ring and a necklace because unfortunately for them, they were caught by the mage guards that the rich guy had hired just in case. The two of them were chased by these mage guards, and rather than teleporting, they were using their powers to fly over to a nearby forest where they would try to hide from their perpetrators. And they chased them into the forest where they tried getting rid of them in all of the trees around them.

After a while, they thought that the coast was clear for them. The two stopped near a boulder, then checked if they were really gone. After securing the perimeter, they sat down on the ground and leaned on the large boulder. The only problem for the now was that they couldn't possibly go back to their home now, they've just been caught red-handed in the act of stealing and they were very sure that those guards saw their faces. So they were planning to go into hiding afterwards. And his father then decided that rather than giving the ring and necklace up for money that might just not even be a single fraction of the actual price, that he was going to give it to Lucius.

But just as he got it, they were ambushed by those mage guards from earlier. And apparently, they happened to steal some of things that snobby rich guy loved the most among the other ones. And they were going to take them by force. And they instantly went for the two of them and once they did, his father pushed him aside and told him to run and that he'll handle it all. And so, he tried running away but only got blocked by one of them who then restrained Lucius and let him watch. Then they started to use their magic to beat his father up whilst telling him to give them the things they stole back.

Lucius' father persisted to not give them anything however, and they continued to beat him up. But the guy that appeared to be the leader of them all became quite impatient, and instead decided to just end him then and there as he felt angry that his demands were not met and was now going to proceed to him. Lucius screamed a loud and long 'NO' at them, and they tried to shut him up. He felt an overwhelming feeling of sadness, and yet also an even more overwhelming feeling of anger swelling inside of him. It was a moment that drastically changed him, especially his personality. And just then, Lucius lost control of his magic as his emotion of anger swelled up even more until that was all he could feel. His eyes glowed a bright red, his hair floated and became wavy, and his psychic energy seemed to burst around him as a field of pressure came and crushed them onto the ground.

With anger fueling him, he used his magic to just crush them into nothing but a floor mat. They were squished like how an ant would when stepped on, but just much more gorier. Trees surrounding them also were crushed with the only thing not being crushed by him being the fresh corpse of his father. He'd killed them all with ease, their blood covering most of the ground beneath him. After a moment or two of just pure anger crushing the ground beneath him, he finally stopped. He dropped to his knees, and covered his eyes that were now tearing up. He curled up into a ball and cried over his now dead father. Somewhere from afar however, just watching is but a figure, who he failed to notice.

As he cried and cried, the figure who was watching that was mentioned earlier slowly approached him. And once they did, Lucius had instantly got into a defensive stance and was prepared to fight, thinking that this was another one of them trying to get the stolen items and asked who they were. Though the unknown person quickly stated they weren't one of them, and asked what happened here. At first, Lucius was highly suspicious of them but then felt that the words were truthful, and let his guard down. Then the figure asked once again of what happened, and Lucius spilled it all in an instant. Even crying whilst he did, and the figure tried to comfort him as he did.

After it all, the figure then offered for Lucius to stay with him since he was assuming that he had no home as of now. Upon the offer, Lucius first stayed silent and thought of the possible consequences of him accepting such an offer from a total stranger. He doesn't even know they're name and contemplated. And after a moment or two, he accepted the offer. But first, Lucius wished to bury his father before going anywhere. And the man helped him bury his father, placing him right under a tree and putting a stone where he laid then carving upon it the name of his father, and staying there for a bit more before hurrying off with the stranger he'd just met.

The arrival to the stranger's house was quite alright, there was nothing suspicious whatsoever other than the kindness the stranger had. Lucius appeared to look extremely gloomy and sad, looking down onto the ground. He'd just been traumatized after all, and he gave off a feeling of melancholy. The stranger was unusually very kind-hearted to Lucius, giving him a place to sleep in, good clothes and food to eat. The food was like nothing he'd ever eaten before, being poor and all and he'd never slept in a bed that was very comfy. It was something that he felt was very strange, but after a few days of nothing but care and kindness, he finally let go of that feeling. But now a new feeling is in it's place, now he worries that he's a burden to the person that decided to take care of him. He can't let go of the feeling now, and constantly worries about it.

It's been over a year now, and it still bothers him quite a lot. Lucius just turned into a fifteen year old, and finally he asked the man about whether or not he was a burden to them. The man replied with a no, then asked if whether or not Lucius wished to know why he chose to take him in. To that, Lucius thought first before responding with a yes. And so, the man told him why. It was for the reason that Lucius had caught his eye, and generally because well, he was a kid who appeared to have just lost their best friend or parent from the looks of it. But for the most part it was because he saw some potential in Lucius, the magic he showed when he killed those men, he found it interesting. It was a magic that he found to be full of potential and because of that, the man wished to recruit someone like him into a particular guild that the man was in that seemed perfect for the boy and that he'd be very useful to them. Lucius asked what guild it was, and the man told him of it's name. Crime Sorciere, an independent guild most known for taking down numerous dark guilds. The man then asked if whether or not Lucius wanted to join them.

He thought long and hard for this decision, and ultimately he decided that his decision was to join them. And hearing it, the man then smiled was happy with his choice. Later that day, the man took Lucius to their guild hall and had him join Crime Sorciere. And ever since then, he's only grown much more in terms of magic skill and hunts down those dark guilds that are disrupting the peace.

Personality & Related Items

Personality: Described by most of the guild as one of the more mysterious of them, often seen just sitting alone and quite distant from others. He shows an emotionless expression most of the time, and keeps his feelings and emotions in check. Lucius is capable of keeping a cool, calm and collected head when in battle and can control himself most of the time. When in battle, he doesn't hesitate when in comes to hurting other people and most of the time, he shows them mercy after beating them nearly to death and leaves them alive to think of their choices. And if they were to go ahead and still continue doing bad things, he will not hesitate to kill.

Underneath all of that mysteriousness however, is a person who is very caring and benevolent to others. Once a person manages to break into his very tough shell. Behind that shell of his, rather than that emotionless expression he shows nearly every single day, he shows a much more day dreamy side of his. Where he gets lost among his thoughts much more frequently and appears to be more of an air-head. And due to him being secretly somewhat of an air-head, he gets easily confused by complex things. Not only that, but Lucius is also extremely loyal to other people, especially those who've shown him kindness.

Strengths:

-He doesn't give up easily.
-Is very good at thievery.

Weaknesses:
-Has mental strain caused by his magic.
-He prefers to do most of his missions alone.
-Lucius has a tendency to not follow orders given by people he doesn't know and often just does what he wants.
-Showing any sign of extreme emotion can become something terrible.
-Despite what's happened when he last did it, he's very willing to take risks.
-Gets confused easily.

Guild-Related Items, Magic & Extra

Magic Type: Caster Magic, Psionic Grace - It's a type of magic which allows the user to manipulate their ethernano into something called psionic energy, which is the physical manifestation of their mentality in a way. This psionic energy can then be used for various mental-based and psychic abilities. Ranging from telekinesis, telepathy to teleportation. Which are the three most common among them that they use. The colour of this energy is usually a shade of purple, but it's not rare to find others with different colours. Lucius' colour however is more then one colour, often red, blue, purple and white or a combination of them all. Psionic Energy typically appears around the user when they use this magic and the eyes of a user will glow a certain colour whenever feeling a particularly strong emotion.

Though with such powers, also comes a few drawbacks and weaknesses. The first one being that they require intense focus to use this magic properly, and control is something hat is very important for this magic. For the reason of in order to physically manifest their mental energy, it requires them to use the full extent of their mentality for extended periods of time and that if their emotions got out of hand, their magic could possibly go out of control. For that reason, users of this magic tend to only use it for simple things like increasing their physicality through coating themselves in energy or creating a field of pressure. Users of this magic also must have strong mentalities. Another drawback is the mental strain it causes upon the user, making them feel dizzy, weak, tired and such if used for a long time.

Miscellaneous Items: He wears a stolen silver ring with a golden gem embedded on it, which is usually on his left index finger and also a golden necklace with a black gem embedded on it. He wears them as they were the last thing that he got from his father.

Guild Mark Location: His guild mark is located on the back of his neck and it's colour is a deep shade of purple.
