Howdy, folks. I'm looking to collaborate with someone in a fantasy style RP. To get some basic stuff out of the way, for the sake of partner compatibility, I'd like my partner to be 18+. Like everyone else, I believe in quality over quantity. That being said, 4-6 paragraphs per post (500+ words) at least keeps me more engaged. I can certainly write more than that when inspired, especially when more characters are involved, so that's not set in stone. I'm looking for a partner that also enjoys worldbuilding and fleshing out characters. I tend towards writing male main characters, but I'm open to whatever pairings. In the past, I've usually had one main character and then whatever side characters along the way, but if you're the kind of person that likes more than one main character let me know. Platonic stories are always on the table, queer pairings of all sorts, etc. But just to let you know, I'm not super romance-oriented when it comes to my roleplays. I enjoy it to a degree, but it's really not my focus.
So, recently I've been in the mood to play a dragon character that can disguise themselves as human. I've done RPs like this in the past and I've always really enjoyed them. My starter idea is pretty basic, so I'm looking for someone that enjoys plotting and brainstorming as we go along. The idea:
Your Character (an elemental, mage, etc) is forced to flee their homeland to escape disaster. Traveling alone and with hardly anything to their name, they stumble upon a dragon's cove with little to barter. But upon meeting the creature, the dragon declares that their arrival was foretold to them in a dream. The prophecy states that your character would lead them on a journey that will end with great reward. Your character's origin story, whether the prophecy holds weight, etc, are all in your control. The only thing I really want from your character is a magical background of some sort.
