Dame of the Moon's Darkness
Zenri: 5 - White Liger - Fire
Zenri padded through a smaller part of the thicker forest. It was still early in the morning and he had been up almost all night watching some of tye two legged creatures camping. They had built a fire and cook food, though their fire and his fire had two very different smells to them. One of the men had poured something over the fire and made it burst alive. The smell had been foul to his nose making him back away and leave. From what he had observed these two legged creatures didn't have powers. But they did have these strange devices that made loud noises. Sometimes even hurting his ears, he hated those devices. He had been tracking this group of four, for sometime now. It seemed like months but it had only been able a week. They moved slowly that what his kind or canines would and they would stop at any and all signs of tracks from a canine or feline. Bringing out wierd insturments before chattering amongst themselves and then moving on. Still though in the week of following they, he couldn't break the context of their speech.

you can bring your character in whenever... perhaps the group ue is tracking comes across her and that's how he saves her....but that's just an idea)))

Tara curled up in a little ball. She was already little, but she wanted to be even littler. The monsters set up around where she was hiding and now she was stuck. She shivered and sniffed, smelling the fire. She watched it flicker from a hole in the log she was in. She couldn't help and let out a pitiful whimper. The monsters heard her. They were coming for her. She whimpered more and backed up to the other end. She didn't realize it but that's what they wanted. One of the monsters grabbed her by her neck. She yelped and whimpered loudly.
This was it. The monsters were going to eat her. She yelped louder, hoping someone would come for her. She was held in the monster's limbs. They were hairless and held her too tight. They were saying stuff she didn't understand. She yelped again, trying to get away, but they held her tighter. That only made her yelp again.

Zenri had been heading off to go get something to eat when he heard yelping. It didn't sound cat like but more dog like and it was coming from where the humans had set up their camp. He turned sharply heading back towards them. A growl rumbling up his throat as he got closer, one of the two legs noticed him and screamed backing away. Another went for something and but his eyes landed on the pup. "Little one can you use your powers at all!!!" He turned sharply at the sound of a click akd a first wall circled him stopping the thing that flew towards him. He growled launching himself at the two leg that had tried to shoot him. The female that had backed away was shaking, "Put the fox down!!! I don't know why a Liger is protecting it but we better run if we want to live!!!" Then the two leg ran not even checking to see if her partners were following her. Zenri's ears laid back as he roared at the other human. His teeth bared stalking towards the man that held the fox. Fire circling his paws as he took a step forward.

Tara yelped and squirmed. She heard a voice yell and ask her about powers. "Ice!!!" She yelled in return. No sooner than she said it pieces of ice lined the tips of her fur. They were sharp shards that stuck out at every angle. She continued yelping and practically screaming. She didn't even see who was coming to rescue her, only thinking about getting away from the monsters.

The man holding the pup ended up throwing her as the icy shard stabbed into his hand. Zenri was now worrying about catching said falling fox. The heat of his flames would either melt the young foxes ice or he would end up with a couple of hours in his body. He jerked to the side sliding under the fox just before it could hit the ground... Thankfully he didn't have to worry about the humans because they all took off. "Little one you're safe now...." He voice was as gentle as he could make it, but still pretty deep.

Tara whimpered as she fell, expecting hard ground. Instead she landed in fur, thick fur. She buried her nose in the tufts of white fur. She looked over at the voice, telling her she was safe. She found a big feline. Big big feline. "Soft." She crawled up his body and half buried herself in his mane. It was long and soft and warm.

Zenri couldn't help but chuckle at the little fox, she didn't seem scared of him even though he was feline and she was canine. Instead she made herself content playing in his mane, which kind of tickled. "Little one where are your parents, you shouldn't be left alone with everything that is going on right now." He asked the small fox, with worry. If he could take her back to her parents then he would, if not then.... He had just become a father to the kit.

Tara stilled in his mane, looking up at him with her head tilted slightly. "No Mommy.......No Daddy....." She went right back to playing in his mane. At one point she tumbled off him onto the ground. She shook herself off and climbed right back on top of him. now that he monsters were gone she had lots of energy in her.
