Kemurigakure exists as a rather unique village in comparison to many others. The village itself is built on the outskirts of the large industrial city known as Koseki, the most populated and technologically advance city in the region. The village itself is has aged quite a lot since its inception, its infusion of old technology being quite run down and worn with age and neglect. With the last war taking a toll on its populous, its neglect had only accelerated greatly as many shops completely left the area leaving much of the town empty. Many of its rail systems are obsolete, left to rust without any maintenance done on them as Koseki had withdrawn much of its support for the village. The residence that remain are those who stay loyal to Kemuri itself, or those who sought some distance from the overcrowded confinements of Koseki's residential districts.

For the training Ninja or adventure enthusiast, the town itself has plenty of abandoned buildings or structures to explore. Its abandoned structures are used often to help teach younger Ninja how to adapt to a more urban environment for jobs that might take place in the nearby city. With care for much of the village forced to be completely dropped, many of the older sections of town are left off limits completely for civilians for their own safety as many rusting structures have started to give way. The village itself has managed to avoid much as far as damages from the war, but there are some lingering traces left over.

The residence left within the city tend to be centered around the northern side of the city. Most live within apartments with the most wealthy having small townhouses of which they reside. The academy itself is used also as the headquarters of the Village's ninja and where the current leader resides.

Koseki

Koseki is the most technologically advance city in the region, containing the highest population density. Starting out as a small mining city, it grew greatly in its size and scope developing much of the technology seen in the region. The city itself is primarily owned by four wealthy families, often being directed with their own whim having control over the general direction of the city. Its unique position has allowed it to remain neutral even through the wars, able to establish itself as a protected body able to use its wealth and the materials it produces as a way to ensure its protection. The city is seperated into primarily four districts.

    Commercial District

The Commercial District is the central hub the city. Hundreds of businesses exist scattered on the streets along with many middle class residences. The buildings often stand three to four stories high, often with apartments of the shop owners taking up the upper floors. The central rail station exists as a monument in the middle of the city, having once served as the parliament building, although many of those operations have since moved to another location. The railways run above the city rooftops, serving to bring incoming passengers into the city. The section itself is well maintained, kept in shape as the city itself has found itself to be a popular shopping area from those visiting outside the district.
