Not Actually Grumpy
(totally not bbcoding this because I'm lazy)
(Pictured is Anya Taylor-Joy)
Name: Delaynee Ray Peterson
Age: 17-21
Personality:
From the outside, Delaynee seems like a serious person. She's very focused on school and her future, which often leaves little time for much else. Though she's the first to admit that her future is the most important thing on her mind, she's also very interested in keeping up relationships and a social status. She's often found at parties, chatting with a few of her friends or dancing with someone. She's not really the type to smoke or drink, but she isn't against trying anything once. While she is a nice person, she can also come off as a bit cold or emotionless, mainly because of how she was raised. She hates to admit it, but she can be a little controlling when given the chance. This is something she'll abruptly stop if someone points her out on it, however.
Appearance:
Delaynee is 5'7", which is above average for women. She's got a slight frame but often covers it with oversized sweaters or t-shirts. She has brown, almost hazel eyes, that are wide and almond shaped. She has an oval shaped face which can often come off as childish when she's not wearing any makeup. Her hair goes down to her mid-back and is a deep brown -nearly black- color.
Background:
Delaynee's life isn't what one would call tragic. Instead, she was loved by both her parents and her nanny. Her family was rather well off, thanks to her father's job as an attorney and her mother's job as a doctor. Rules were a large part of her life, which probably led to her habit of bossing people around by default. She was only allowed to spend the night at her friend's house if her parents knew the friend's parents personally, and she was never allowed out of the house unsupervised until she turned sixteen. All her life she's been surrounded by people, whether they're her distant family members in for the holidays or her parents' friends visiting for dinner. She's learned to watch people, learn their habits and quirks, and hopes to one day put this talent to good use by studying to become a psychiatrist. She has big plans for her future, and often forgets to focus on the present.
