So this is a WIP put wanted to get this up so people could stay hyped, gather their thoughts and post who they are in the RP…

This is the time in the first movie when Scar assumes the throne. As far as everyone knows Simba and Mufasa are dead from a stampede of wildebeests. When Scar takes the throne and demands that lions and hyenas work together, this is hard for a lot of lionesses to get used to, and some refuse. There are consequences for not feeding the hyenas, mostly getting put on cub watch. Cub watch is right under his majesties eye, and he often makes his presence VERY known. The hyenas report to him all the time and they keep a good eye on all the lionesses running around.
Scar had mated with a few lionesses and few have given him cubs, he is still getting used to the idea of being a father. He desperately wants the pride to accept him as the new king and a good way to do that is to start a new generation. Which he was more than happy to do.
Their leader can be viewed as selfish and self-serving lion. Or is he truly trying his best and trying truce’s to help the family in the long run? The opinions vary, from lioness to lioness. Rumors soon spread that he had his brother and nephew killed so he could assume the throne.

Personality: Sarafina cares greatly for her daughter and for her niece. Motherly and kind, she's more of the type to blend into the background, but she doesn't mind. She can be fierce when on a hunt, or in a fight, if need be but is rather friendly to most and just wishes for the safety of the pride.

Backstory:
Sarafina had been part of the pride for quite some time, befriending Sarabi and eventually agreeing to have Nala betrothed to Simba once both cubs were born. Some time after their birth, she happily became an aunt and had no problem treating Sizani like her own cub and helping to raise her.

After Mufasa and Simba were said to have died due to the wildebeest stampede, she kept close watch over both Nala and Sizani, while doing her best to try and comfort and be there for Sarabi. When it comes to the rumors that Scar had Simba and Mufasa killed for the throne, she has no comment, but doesn't think Scar is fit to rule.

Personality: Amara is patient and protective of her cubs. She listens to other's plight and tries to be supportive. She can hold a grudge, and paces when frustrated. Otherwise, she can usually be found sunbathing on rocks when not watching her cubs or doing anything else really.
King in heart: Mufasa

Backstory: Amara was raised in a small pride that lived elsewhere, and ended up coming to the Pridelands when she was pregnant with Faraji sometime during Mufasa's reign before his death. She almost stayed with the rogue who sired Faraji at first, but he convinced her to find a proper pride that he couldn't provide then. After Scar took over, she ended up with Jabari and became fiercely protective of her children.

Seeing the lands suffering and knowing the Cubs of the pride would suffer from starvation, she misses how things were before and rejects Scar as her King.

Personality: Jabari is the type of cub who says what's on his mind and isn't afraid of the hyenas. Confident, mischievous, and playful, and a bit on the loud side, Jabari doesn't think ahead or long-term. Oh no, he thinks of short-term answers when it comes to big problems and whatnot.

Backstory: Growling up under Scar's rule, whenever he heard his mother or the older lionesses discuss the days of the old reign he'd listen, but tune out whatever complaining they did. Whenever he wasn't being watched over by his mother was spent trying to get into whatever mischief he could when she wasn't looking.

Personality: He's observant, awkward, and a bit on the quiet side. Usually level headed, he tries to be a role modle for Jabari and just wants his brother to play safely when he drags Faraji on his little adventures.

Backstory: Scar is the closest thing he knows to a father figure, as his mother never mentioned his real dad other than briefly one time and didn't bring it up again when he asked. He spends most days avoiding the Hyenas and trying to keep Jabari from doing anything incredibly stupid when not playing with his brother or any other cubs.

Personality: Mbali is playful and adventurous, a happy pup who doesn't try to let anything worry or upset him. Even if he's lonely, he tries to keep an optimistic outlook on things and keep others happy.

Backstory: A young wild dog that was orphaned at a young age and never knew his parents, in a sense he's an example of 'it takes a village to raise a child' as he had a few different caretakers at one point. He has no real problem with the Hyenas and watched the lions from a distance, unsure if he likes them or not.

Personality: Grumpy and aggressive, Deka is still coming into herself as she gets older. While she does have a softer side, it's very rare that those outside of who get close to her can see it.

Backstory: Deka grew up knowing hunger, and was more than glad at the idea of Scar ruling if it meant not having to wonder if she could get her next meal. She's rough around the edges, but doesn't have a problem with Scar's cub Jabari at least. Compared to Jabari the rest of the Lions are just a bunch of prissy stuck up jerks in her eyes.

Personality: is incredibly sweet and caring. She is hard-working and dedicated, always striving to be the best at everything, therefore making her competitive. Full of spirit, she would never be one to back down or give up.
King in heart: Mufasa
backstory: Kamaria grew up in pride rock and has always had a hard time hunting due to her light coat, however nearer the desert sands she has better luck. She was very sad to hear of Mufasa and Simba’s passing and worried for her own cubs to be born under Scar especially when he brought in the hyenas. She can often be found next to the watering hole and plays more of a messenger/babysitter than a huntress. She found a passing rouge male lion and had a romantic relationship before he was chased off by the hyenas at Scars command.

Personality: She sometimes comes off as shy, quiet or un-talkative to those that don't know her very well. As well as all of that Penda likes to think of herself as a smart lioness, often knowing how to look at some tracks and know how old the animal was, when it walked there, it's gender and where it might be heading. Sometimes, she likes to let her imagination soar and daydream of what the Pride Rock lions could be without the hyenas around.
King in heart: Scar (only king she knows)
backstory: she was born during Scars rule, so she has only known Scar. She thinks the hyenas are NOT funny and stink. She just wants to run around and be free, like all the stories she is told about how the pridelands used to be. She is the first cub for Kamaria, she was a bit of a surprise because her coat is so dark, especially in contract with her mothers.

Personality: sometimes tend to overthink things. As well as that, she is fairly insecure about herself. She is quite hesitant when she meets new animals, not knowing how to act to make them think of her well. She is extremely enthusiastic when she does the things she loves and has an excellent sense of humor, often cracking jokes to cheer up her pride.
King in heart: Mufasa
backstory: she was almost a teen when the double tragedy of Mufasa’s and Simba’s death by stampede happened. She is still a bit heart broken about what happened but she has accepted Scar as the next king but believes if it wasn’t for the hyenas he would have been kicked out by now. She hate the hyenas and wishes Scar would go away with this stinky friends.

Personality: She is prideful, ruthless, aggressive, snappy, sarcastic, but also very loyal and protective of those she cares about. She is eager to prove herself to Scar and win his approval.

backstory: Zalika was still a cub when Scar took over the pride, she believes in Scar completely. She hopes to one day be the best huntress in the pride. She often spares with her brother, so he doesn’t get too fat and teases him about not doing anything. she thinks the hyenas are an eyesore and doesn’t interact with them if she doesn’t have to.

Personality: He can be rude, dangerous, and arrogant but once you get past this shell, he can be a kind, loving, protective. He will love any cubs that he has. He is compassionate, not wanting any lion close to him getting injured. He is also lusty and flirtatious

backstory: He, like his sister where cubs when Scar took over the pride and has followed in Scars pawprints. He tries to be like Scar but unlike Scar he knows he is pretty and is sassy because of it. He believes in gender rolls hard and that he only needs to fight when Scar calls him to other than that the lionesses have to hunt. He thinks the hyenas are gross and dirty and wants nothing to do with them. he is biding his time until Scar is too old and needs a lion to take over, he hopes it will be him.
