Silence.
Void.
There's nothing but the feeling of...cold...on her back. The girl pushes the tangled mass of light brown hair out of her face and looks around the landscape through blurred vision. There's not much she could make out, except for a nearby fire, flickering. Shelter. At least, that's what she thought it meant. She slowly pulls herself to her feet and walks towards the shelter. Each step was weak, pathetic, lifeless, almost causing her to tumble over as she attempts to make it to the nearby fire.
Upon arriving near the fire, she picks up the torch and looks at it inquisitively. What is it? She waved it around a little bit and began to walk forwards, with no regard for her state. Except for...this cold. It's so cold. Looking down, she realizes that there's nothing on her. The mysterious object in her hand is her only lifeline to safety. As she continues to walk, her foot hits a rock.
KSCH!
Her mind flashes to a different time. A time that was, very obviously, not right now.
"Miranda, you have to get out of here. Go!" A woman dressed in white looked directly at her, her bright blue gaze meeting that of the girl. She realizes that all she has to do is go. There was no choice in this, no arguing. The woman stepped forward, but a sharp, metal spear thrusted from the darkness and went right through her chest, turning her white dress to red.
"..." The girl, speechless, found her body forcing herself to run. Kicking open the front door of the compound, the girl found herself forcing herself through the door, into the pale white light...

This particular Quest Log is a new thing I'm trying out. It's a superhuman RP in quest form, following the course of a 16-year-old amnesiac named Miranda Wilson who possesses a superpower known as Like Ice, eventually granting her abilities such as being able to run at 50 miles per hour (80 km/h) due to friction reduction, lifting 2600 lbs (1180 kg) due to high density muscles, and generating force-fields that freeze object motion.
However, such power isn't going to go unnoticed. Seeing as she doesn't have any memory of how the world works, she won't know that she's actually being actively pursued...but by whom?
