Realistic or Modern Light and Darkness (Powers/Superheroes/City RP)

[Anderson]
Well, shoot. "Turn around," Simplistic had said, and he had. But he as he was whipping around corners back towards where he started, he knew he would probably be too late to whatever party was being hosted there. When he whipped around the final corner, he saw that he actually wasn't late, but the demon had captured his master. He set eyes on the bot's foot, which was wobbling, albeit barely, and knew that his target should be the foot. As he roared towards the bot, he realized that there was a good chance that, as soon as he released the dragon, it would release Simplistic's endgame.
"Simplistic, if this is the end, then by gosh, this past day was entertaining!" Anderson shouted, forgetting that Simplistic was in his head. He activated his sword and shield, holding the shield up and sword out, prepared take bullets and to slice through the bot's leg completely and knock it over, respectively.

Caymen
Lucy creeped to the edge of his sit as the situation unfolded itself. This robot was using positive energy against Caymen. Plus, he would already be drained near empty with Obliteration. How could this be? Everything surrounding them was practically gone. Buildings were now big piles of ash and the street boiled in earnest. You could taste the ash in the air, and the sun was a full yellow figure in the sky. Caymen didn't cough, his immortality to fire included smoke being like normal air. But he slumped on the scorched concrete. His vision shook and he struggled to keep balance. He felt like he just ran ten marathons and then swam the Pacific-with an anchor on his foot. Lucy could tell that Caymen would need some time to recover.
But we don't have time. Time's up, he thought. Then he froze. Up. The containment forced them down.
"Caymen I need you to go aflame. Now!" Caymen stirred.
"Go aflame? Lucy I can't even stand up."
"Caymen it's either you light up or you die. And you become a failure. How does society treat failures
,Caymen? And think of how they treat men with power. You are a god among men, Caymen! You dare let a machine torment you? The way your father tormented your mother? Killed her?"
Caymen's eyes glowed a deep red. Anger seeped into his system. Power slowly filled him.
"Look at what you can do! You have the power, Caymen! Use it!" Caymen pulled on the anger he felt. He pulled on all the emotions. In an instant he turned a bright blue.
"Down, my boy! The depths of hell are your home! Down!"
He obeyed Lucy, stretching his hands to the already burned concrete and expelling fire from his hands. The asphalt turned to mush and he pushed through it. At first it was like walking through mud, but as his rage increased it became easier. The rock beneath his hands melted and he flew straight down. When he was far down enough, he went back up. The rock bended to his will and he flew out of a street blocks from where the robot stood. He flew straight up and immediately transformed to a dragon. Anger poured from his eyes. He let go a mighty roar flying among the buildings, a family of blue flames complementing it.

[Anderson]
The motorcycle roared under him, and he felt the ground rumble. He saw Kami dive beneath the ground, before bursting upwards as a dragon, majestic and glorious. Kami was awakened with a fury, and fire flames burst through the sky, arcing upward. Anderson continued to drive, going at seventy miles an hour, planning his next move. He would need to swerve to avoid the hole after he sliced through the robot's foot. He rode with in five feet of the leg and swung. He couldn't look back to see if he had connected, but he'd felt some resistance. He swerved quickly to avoid the hole and barely did, his tires squealing. He was off balance, and needed to correct himself quickly. He skidded, and managed, after around fifty meters, to slow to ten before finally falling off at that speed. He was mostly uninjured, and considering he had been going seventy five, it could have been much, much worse.

Caymen
Caymen caught sight of Simplistic. He flew straight for him. When he enclosed the minor Tenebris he changed form, returning to his normal self. His eyes still glowed a dark red. He landed with a thud and walked towards the Tenebris. The person he resided in looked peculiar. Not the type for war. He put his hands in his jeans taking a halfway glance at where the robot should be. They didn't have time.
"Simplistic, this robot has proven a pain to me. I am afraid I will need your services to assist me in slaughtering it. Do you have some sort of plan?" His voice sounded cruel and heartless. The power really did change him. The old Caymen was gone for good.
"He can conjure weapons, I believe." Lucy whispered in his head.
"'And Hephaestus was cast from Olympus, his face an agony to the Olympians.'" Caymen quoted. "Reminds me of someone."
Lucy scowled and ignored his quip. Caymen then turned to face Simplistic.
"Well?" He bellowed.

Max
By now, Max has gotten approval from her boss to be excused, and has gotten out of the library. She stumbled and nearly tripped forward, but soon balanced herself and returned to her normal walking pace, but her eyes were now pupil-less.
Latarki
The reason for all that was because Latarki had gotten control of Max's body. The Spritz, as Max, headed for his hybrid sedan, pulling out his car keys and unlocking it using them before climbing inside onto the driver's seat and buckling up. He closed the car door and started up the car's engine and departed, searching for the robot's location as he began putting on his blue-colored contacts.

Booker & Limbo

The Spritz and the host came over to the already bad situation, Booker has his hood up and he let Limbo take control. His eyes having black sclera and having a soft white glow over them. He entered into the Rift Plane as he made his way to a place that appeared to be safe. He watched as the robot continued to wreak havoc over Detroit as if it was just nothing. From his viewpoint, attempts could be seen to try and film it on tape and put it on the news but they all just died when they tried. Only then, it was time for Booker & Limbo to attack the robot in hopes of stopping it.

Booker put on his Rift Master's Orders technique to make himself faster and stronger, before he rushed in close to the robot. And just then, he began to try and attacking it. Spinning spheres were appearing near the robot, Rifting Spheres to be exact. Booker created a lot of them near the robot, then with a snap of his fingers, they all exploded and the two hoped that it was enough to stop the robot. Even if temporary. "Take that you piece of fucking shit," Booker said whilst he ran to some cover to not be spotted by the machine.

Latarki
When the robot, along with the chaos it created, started to come into his view, he quickly stepped on the brakes, prompting the car to come to a halt. He took off the seatbelt and got out of the car he was driving, before absorbing some power from Max's phone, charging him up. Then, he started to run towards the robot, which is when he met some people trying to stop the robot from causing further chaos, charging up an electric beam. Once he got near, he fired the beam at it before immediately going for cover...almost meeting with Booker.

[Anderson]
He regained his senses, and rose to his feet on the man's orders. He bowed towards the man.
"Kami." He said, smiling. Simplistic nodded approvingly. "If you can concentrate your fire in the area my blade pierced, enough heat should enter to let the bot from the inside." He gestured towards the leg, then gasped. "An lo, our mortal enemy, the Spritz, have made their triumphant entry." He acknowledged a man. The man disappeared suddenly, before reappearing near the robot and creating spheres. Anderson gestured out his hand as the spheres shattered, and a second Spritz appeared, shooting a bolt of lightning at the robot. "If we pretend as though we are Spritz, we could even take the opportunity to briefly ally with them to purge the earth of this mechanical heretic."

[Caymen]
Caymen nodded at the Tenebris' idea. His bowing to him only confirmed his godly status.
"A good idea. Your brains will be useful to me. I do not like dwindling with the Spirtz, but it should be good in taking down this robot. Afterwards we will of course kill them." Caymen paused to look at the two Spirtz, scowling. Dare they walk into his battle showing off their power? He will burn them alive. "You prove to be quite useful so help yourself and don't get too close. You might want to gift yourself some armour. My fire can be a bit...unforgiving."
He transformed into a dragon, the pain he felt while doing so bringing a smile to his face. He stood meters above the Tenebris, his wings almost as wide as the street itself.
"'The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time'. Remember this, Simplistic." He charged the robot, now aiming for the weakened leg.

(Since no one's gonna give me a resume I'm just gonna jump back in.)

[Jakal & Verebrys]

Jakal is walking down the street, talking with Verebrys via his mind as usual. Jakal's odd appearance sure does attract alot of unwanted attention, but the cops are too afraid to get anywhere near him. He gives off an intimidating aura and creepy vibe that surrounds him.

( Communist Communist robot storms middle of the city. Kills a bunch of civilians. So far four people are combating it, not including you.)

[Jakal & Verebrys]

Jakal (along with Verebrys) notice that the cops get in their cars, turn on their sirens and drive away in a hurry. Both of them are curious so they decide to climb to the top of a building, jumping from roof to roof to keep up with the police cruiser's speed.

After awhile he arrives at the scene and sees a robot wrecking havok. "Should we intervene, Verebrys?" Jakal asked his partner, and to his very suprise Verebrys showed himself
"Sure, why not?" Verebrys said, going back into Jakal's body. The latter jumping into the middle of the battlefield and creating a huge crater upon impact.

[Anderson]
He rose, and remembered Simplistic's ability didn't come with armor. Oooh deary. He activated his energy shield and grabbed his bike, before wheeling it into a doorway. He raised his energy shield, which fit neatly into the doorway, and realized multiple things at once.
Primarily, the Spritz didn't know they were Tenebris, and this could be used.
Secondly, whoever released this robot would surely be watching them, and killing the Spritz would be a surefire way to let them know about the conflict. This they could use.
Thirdly, there was now a third Spritz on the scene... Oh dear, what if it was Tenebris. If it was, he would be consumed by Kami's flames. Well, here's to hoping it could take a hint by the dragon and the man hiding in a doorway.

Latarki
Latarki took one quick look and saw what appeared to be two Tenebris-controlled people attacking the robot, one of them going for the leg. He then wondered, 'Why didn't I go for the leg earlier?', then decided that he should be doing that right now anyway. He charged up another electricity beam, this time he waited a little longer so the beam would be stronger than the previous one, at the cost of more electricity. Once he decided that the beam was appropriately buffed, he got out of hiding and hastily got into a position where he could attack the leg without harming another person in his beam's way, before unleashing said beam towards the leg. But, somewhere in his mind before his attack, he nearly went with deliberately not giving a crap about if the beam hits the person, but decided against it because he thought that his would-be intentional mistake would drag on the battle for longer.

[Jakal & Verebrys]

He gets out of the crater that he created with his landing. I guess that's one dis-vantage of having enormous strength. You create unnecessary damage, although that doesn't bothers this duo.

Jakal looks at the robot, a red, hot substance starting to come out his entire body, not just his hands but, literally his entire body. He runs up to the robot, delivering a punch to it's face with a fist covered in magma, followed by a roundhouse kick to the side of the robot's torso (if it had one).

[Caymen]
Lucy recognized the lava bender immediately.
"Verebrys," he whispered.
Caymen's eyes shifted to the eerie looking man. Was that Lava coming from him? He held a tremendous about of power. Caymen chuckled and attacked the robot. It let about a gust of blue fire at its leg. He blew for another moment and then flew up, trying not to be caught in its field again.

[Anderson]
As soon as he'd saw their plan had been enacted successfully, he ran out into the street and rushed towards the beaten robot. He was surprised it wasn't inactive; having taken a beating from electricity, a dragon, the blood of the earth, a sword from another dimension, and other dimensions in actuality. He sought to rectify this, and drove his sword forward, aiming for the head of the robot in order to end its miserable, heretical existence. If he survived this endeavor, hopefully he would earn a few... private words with Lucy and his host before they attempted to smash the Spritz.

Latarki
Latarki dashed to the back of the robot, pulling off his skin-toned gloves, revealing the true, robotic, nature of his arms, and putting them away in the emptiest jacket pocket he could find (the left one, the right has Max's phone), before unveiling the hidden blades from his near-military-grade forearms and began repeatedly slashing, stabbing, and hacking the robot's injured leg before backing off.

The AERIS Mk.5 had its leg armor compromised by some swordsman, before realizing that the dragon had escaped its Positive Energy confinement field. The robot hastily fires off more missiles and boosts behind several buildings to get some distance between the enemies and itself, before realizing that the dragon had already fired a large ball of blue flames towards it.

As the Mk.5 was a test model, the diamond-coated alloy that its armor was made out of was still not fully tested for combat against Spritz and Tenebris hosts. Naturally, the armor is getting weaker as the enemies continue to bash against it to try and stop its rampage. Now, a Spritz/Tenebris host with mechanical arms is trying to beat its torso into submission, although it was a bit of a feeble effort from such a small individual.

The Mk.5 fired up its own Positive Energy Shield to cover itself from the dragon breath attack, before boosting away to more populated areas to cause devastation in. The robot knew that if he could draw the Spritz/Tenebris into a populated area, their battle alone could cause many to suffer and die. It is a rather unusual robot, for having such sadistic thoughts that only some human would nominally think.

[Caymen]
Caymen already knew what the robot was going to do. Did it really think that Caymen would be careful to not end feeble humans? He chuckled and flew head on toward the robot. He did need people to rule, so he warned them hastily.
"People of Detroit." His voice vibrated deeply through the air. "I am here to save you from the clutches of this machine. Your police cannot save you. Your army cannot save you. Gods walk among you. Flee if you cherish your life. Stay if you want to breath blue fire." With that he struck the robot with a heap of fire. He mostly aimed for its legs. He decked the robot with its black, sharpened fist. He continued to do so until flying up, allowing the robot to sink to the ground.

[Anderson]
Shoot. It had blasted away back towards the running crowds. Anderson turned and ran back towards his bike, righting it before taking off after the robot. His face was still covered in a handkerchief, so there should be no way to identify him, but he wasn't banking on it. He weaved in and out between parked cars and whipped around buildings before, around a minute later, he saw Kami breathing fire on the robot's legs. He reactivated his energy sword and rode towards it. The other leg... He was going to aim for the other leg! A rocket roared out towards him, and he swerved to avoid it; hopping onto the sidewalk and roaring down it. He wasn't going seventy-five this time, by any stretch; in fact, he was going thirty. He knew that the armor, metal or otherwise, would be hot and prone to melting by now, so when he arrived and swung, he felt less resistance than the prior time. He kept driving, before swerving around and heading back towards the robot, preparing to slice through its equivalent of a head.
"Anderson, you're quite good at this." Simplistic said.
"I ride a motorcycle enough. And, since I do kendo, I can certainly swing a sword. However, for my next trick, I'm going to leap off a still-moving motorcycle and stab something, so... Promise to attend my funeral." Anderson said. He roared towards the robot.

Latarki
Latarki saw what the robot was doing. He immediately thought, 'Wait a minute, it's gonna try framing us?!', before running back to where Max's car was. He got inside and started it up, then began to speed after the mech as he put away Max's phone in her purse, which was laying on the shotgun seat the whole time. He also made sure to avoid running over any innocent civilians before he brought her car to a halt, then getting out afterwards. He then shouted out, in Max's voice, "Can we find a way to bring it away from populated areas?!" just as he charged up an electricity blast and fired it at what he thought was where the robot's boosters are.

[Jakal & Verebrys]

He wants to create a bigger level of mayhem, so he plays along with the robot by firing a huge projectile of lava on his direction. If it hit then the robot would most likely end up in a populated area.

DM

The Mk.5 AERIS immediately noted the incoming lava pile, and expertly avoided the blast. Unfortunately for the user, the lava projectile manages to land on the side of an office building, causing the building to collapse with those still inside. The robot fires off more and more machine gun bursts towards its vicinity, trying to get more and more civilians killed.

The IIF operative teams finally appear to try and secure the asset, but realize that the situation is already spiralling out of control. They are told by their HQ that the IIF is trying to delay the deployment of the National Guard, but it's not going to last that much longer if the Mk.5 AERIS is not taken down in time.

The Mk.5 took the blow from the dragon hard, and did end up semi-submerged into the concrete ground. The robot, however, shook it off and fired off a concentrated laser blast towards the flying dragon, with enough heat to rival the sun itself. Along with the laser, the Mk.5 fires off multiple missiles to try and distract the dragon from its primary payload, the laser.
