When you level up, you add 1d6 to your Hit Point score, and increase all of your skills by 5%, to a maximum of 98%. Also, each level you go up, you get to add a new skill to your sheet that starts at a level 1 proficiency.

Everyone but @Yappi will now be at 6,000 xp, putting you into 3rd level.  Yappi, you'll get points soon enough once we continue the game.  @Psychie , @BusinessMan and @Silanon a quick heads-up for you guys.  If you have taken one of the new MA techniques, check with it to see what bonuses you get for 3rd, and you can all add 3 xp for your level up.

EDIT: Here is the link to the website with the PDF of all the Palladium skills.  Obviously, some will not be applicable to this setting, so if you are uncertain about a skill, check with me and I'll give it the yes/no vote.

Yappi, did you want to get one of the advanced Martial Art techniques?  I can suggest one for you if you are uncertain as to which one to get, or you can keep the original style; up to you.

You are starting off at level 1.  Right now, you have the generic Martial Art skill.  If you would like, you can upgrade to a dedicated style like Tae Kwon Do or Krav Maga for the cost of one skill.  Since you have not yet leveled up, you can use the skill you'd get at level 2 to get the advanced MA technique now.

Everyone gets another 3,000 xp, putting @Silanon and @Psychie at 9,000 and just up into level 4, and @vinom is well into 2nd level.

For the new level, everyone gets 3 more hit points, and your skills go up by 5%. Plus, everyone gets to pick one new skill that starts at level one.

Base percentage with whatever iq bonus you get.

I'll have to add the link for the skill list to the first post in a bit. I thought I had done that before, but i guess not.

I've decided for Jute Kune Do to be by level up skill... how do I apply all those changes to my character sheet?

That's one of my favorite styles.  Increase your attributes by the totals listed.  The IQ boost raises your skill bonus from 10% to 12% effective immediately, so all your skills get to add that extra 2% to them.  The PP increase raises up your Strike, Parry and Dodge bonus form +6 to +7.  PS bonus increases HtH damage by +2, and you get an additional 2 hit points from raising your PE.

For your other combat stats, you lose one attack per melee, giving you a total of 4 actions per round outside of your mecha, but you get to add these bonuses to your character:

1st - +1 to Perception, +2 to Parry, +2 to Dodge.

2nd - Eye-flick + Roundhouse combination (one Strike roll for both effects), +1 to Initiative, +1 to Strike, +1 to damage.

Dodging uses up an action, just like an attack does. While you do lose one action, the bonuses you get with the Jeet Kune Do, in my opinion, more than outweigh the loss.

Everyone gets another 3,000 xp, putting @Silanon and @Psychie at 12,000 and farther into 4th level, and @vinom now has 6,000 and putting you into 3rd.

As a reminder, Vinom gets to add 5% to all your skills, add one new skill starting at level one proficiency, and everyone gets an additional 3 hit points.  Don't forget to add the combat bonuses for your new level from your current Martial Art technique.  If there are any questions, I'll help walk you through your advancement.

You can use your one new skill to upgrade to one of the dedicated martial art techniques, but it would REPLACE your current style, not have both at once. The new styles give you add stat bonuses, so depending on what style you take your combat bonuses may go up.

I would advise you to look at Jeet Kune Do.  Not only does it give you great combat bonuses, it also raises your Iq and Pp significantly.

Xp time!  For a great job done, everyone gets 8,000 points.  That puts @Silanon and @Psychie at 20,000 and well into 5th level, almost to 6th, and @Orikanyo is now at 3rd level, almost to 4th.

With the level up, Sil and Psy get 5 more hit points, and Ori gets 8 for your two levels, and everyone gets to add 5% per level to all your skills.  Finally, for each level up you get to add a new skill to your sheets.  If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask.

More xp for everyone.  I'll grant you guys another 6,000, putting @Silanon and @Psychie at 26,000 and just barely into 6th level, and @Orikanyo is now at 14,000 and you've hit 4th level.

Everyone gets to add 2 more hit points for the level increase, and don't forget to raise your skill percentages by 5%, and you get to add a new skill, too.  Finally, don't forget to check your combat bonuses for what you get for your new level and add them to your numbers.  If anyone has a question on what those numbers are, just zip me a post and I'll help.
