So it was the day of the trip and sky was excited she got her car (the one in the picture) and drove it over to the meeting spot. she couldn't believe this was happening she loved hanging out with her friends and going on a road trip all summer! this was a dream. once sky got to the place they were meeting she got out of her car and waited for everyone with a big bright smile on her face. sky ran her hand through her hair then pulled out her phone she smiled as she texted everyone

Dwyer and Ian

Dwyer was driving himself and Ian to the meeting spot in his green '67 Chevy Impala. It was partially a gift and partially paid for by himself. Dwyer was serious about life, his career and well everything. Ian was not. In fact Ian could barely contain himself that Dwyer let him ride in his car! He was practically bouncing in his seat. "Man this is going to be the best!" Ian said sticking his head out the window and feeling the breeze. Dwyer smiled lightly and shook his head. "Why do I get the feeling I'm going to be the babysitter?" he turned his head slightly so he could see Ian out of the corner of his eye. "Careful. You might get bugs caught in your teeth." Ian frowned and pulled his head back in. He lightly slapped Dwyer in the chest. "Buzzkill." After some time they arrived at the meeting spot and Dwyer pulled to a stop with a rumble from the engine. "God that is so cool!" Ian said admiring the purr. He went to the back and opened the trunk. Dwyer stepped out and gave a wave to Sky. "Hey Sky." he called out. While Ian got both their things Dwyer approached Sky. He had always had a thing for her. Not necessarily a romantic interest, but sort of like a sister, whether or not she felt the same way, or if she was romantically interested in him he was clueless about. Dwyer usually was clueless about how people felt about him. Sky was also one of the few people allowed to call him Alex if she wanted, but most people usually just called him Dwyer.

Jasil hopped off the bus a few minutes away from where she was supposed to meet Sky. She began walking while thinking. She was excited to spend the summer with her best friends, she couldn't even imagine all the places they'd go. She eventually reached Sky's car with her bag. "Hey girlie!" Jasil walked up to Sky with a big grin

She noticed the guys had already arrived and shot them a wave. "I'm so freaking excited!" Jasil bounced in place, barely containing her energy

Sky amiled at all of them "hey guys" she said excitedly. She walked over to the back of her car and opened it for the bags. She then walked back over. Sky smiled at jasil's excitement. Sky was so exited that all of her best friends actually wanted to come because Sky didn't want to sit alone in her house all summer @PenguinFox @Jasil

Ian flashed Jasil a rock hand and Dwyer gave her a nod. Ian walked over to the rest of the group with his guitar on his back and handed Dwyer his rucksack. "I'm just as excited as you guys." Ian smiled. "But as usual Dwyer has to be Capt. No-Joy" he said putting a hand by his mouth as if he was whispering even though he wasn't. "Really Ian?" Dwyer started. "Sorry my mistake. Sgt. No-Joy." Ian said laughing. He turned to Dwyer. "Better?" he asked but Dwyer just rolled his eyes. "How have you guys been?" he asked after giving Ian a playful, but strong shove

Jasil helped put bags in the car as they waited for the others. She gave Sky a quick hug before plopping down on the ground, not caring if she got a little dirty. God made dirt an dirt don't hurt.


She giggled

Sky smiled "good" "and Alex I'm going to make you have fun this summer without being Sgt. No-Joy" she said with a little silent laugh to herself @PenguinFox @Jasil

"I'm all right, Mama was really clingy when I tried to leave, how bout y'all?" She began tossing pebbles into he grass nearby.

Dwyer smiled. "Good to hear guys. I'm still trying to decide on which branch I'm going into; army or air force." he looked to Ian. Ian looked up and saw Dwyer looking at him. "Oh, my turn? Yeah I'm good I guess. I've been staying up late the past few days trying to help the band find a temporary replacement for me so that sucks. They'll be alright without me for a while though." Ian shrugged and kicked at a stone in the ground. He wasn't all that big on talking about what went on with his life, not that he didn't like it, more like he wasn't very good at it. "I think Dwyer should be a good little soldier boy and join the army, but that's just me." Ian said quickly in an attempt to shift the focus from himself

Sky thought for a moment "I have no idea" "what you got to think about is what your most passinoet about" "for me it's the hardest thing I don't know what I want go do because I have so many creative things and ideas" Sky said as she once again thought about what she wanted to do for her life

Jasil laughed "Y'all worry about the future too much! Let's enjoy now, while we are still young." She stood and brushed herself off. She propped her arm up on Ian's shoulder and made a goofy face at him before looking at everyone else. "When do you think the rest of the gang will get here?"

Sky shrugged "im not sure hopefully soon cause I want to get this road trip started" she smiled as she looked at her car.

"That;s what I've been saying to you Dwyer." Ian said motioning to Jasil. When she gave him a funny look he stuck his tongue out of the corner of his mouth. Dwyer looked at Ian. "You're so childish." he said shaking his head but smiling at the same time. "Am not. Now get out of my fort!" Ian retorted in a child's voice. "You're just jealous because you're so....adult-ish!' he raised a hand for a high five from Jasil with a smug look on his face. He was very proud of his comeback. Dwyer turned to Sky. "Who's going to drive first?" "Ooh ooh pick me!" Ian piped in. Dwyer looked at him. "I don't trust you behind the wheel of a bicycle let alone a something that could kill someone." Ian crossed his arms and made an exaggerated pouting face. "Pfft lame." he said quietly. (Think I'm going to bed now. See you tomorrow!)

Jasil laughed at Ian and high fived him back. He was So immature, but thankfully so was she.

Sky smiled and laughed a little at the conversation going on between all of them. "Whoever wants to" Sky replied "I think it would be fun but dangerous if Ian drives" "I could picture it is going all over the road him screamin th at the top of his lungs while he sticks his head out of the window. Then once he gets bugs in his teeth he starts to freak out and he accidentally drives ha into the lake" she smiled (I should go to sleep to) (btw I won't be on for a lot of tomorrow since I have school and then a thing with school after but I'll be on later tonight )

Jasil playfully punched Ian's arm, "Sky just perfectly described your driving 'skills', and I choose life."

Faye Godrick


"Swimsuits, towels, um," there was a slight pause, "oh and magazines for later. Plenty of extra clothes, a crapload of shoes, and the extra pack. All set?" Faye questioned her ramblings before stopping to think. "Right, hygiene whatnots." she huffed. Grabbing the last of her things, the bleach blonde attempted to stuff everything into one trunk. Her packing skills weren't the greatest, but with one last shove the top closed snug enough to lock. "Ready, Freddy." Faye said as she smiled. It's best to note she was talking to herself in her old bedroom, her words just low enough for the rest of the house not to stir, and she finished the job off with a long sigh. The room, the house, all of it, would never be seen by the girl again. Although that scenario sounds almost depressing, Faye's smile turned into a large grin; she would finally be free from the past. So long and good riddance, she thought. Pushing the trunk out the bedroom window, Faye followed along shortly after it seeing as it was the best route in and out of the house without much noise.


After her packing shananigans, the blonde set the trunk in the backseat of her Wrangler--a car that had been with her since God knows how long. Running her fingers through her locks, Faye jumped in the driver's seat with glee and quickly turned the ignition key. Honestly, the car sounded like it was on it's last breath, but it was the reason she drove it now so she wouldn't feel so awful about leaving it. Sure, the car's been through thick and thin with her, however, the whole point of the trip for her is to leave the past where it belonged and start fresh--and if that meant leaving her trusty bed on wheels than so be it.


The drive over to the meeting spot wasn't so bad, actually. She turned her final corner, noticing a few familiar faces as she drove passed a bit, and finally parked the rickety car by the curb. Faye hopped out, parting her hair to the left with her hand, and lit the dormant cigarette that hung in her mouth. A brief puff was let out of the burning smoke before she opened the backseat door to grab her trunk. Rolling the luggage down towards her friends, Faye waved to them with her free hand. "Having fun without me already?" Faye joked as she continued to walk closer to the irregular circle they formed. "It's good to see you guys," she mentioned, but her train of thought broke as she burned out the rest of her, quote unquote, cancer stick. "Jasil, Sky, looking lovely as always," Faye finally added, "and the boys, well, what're we going to do with you two?" the blonde giggled as she talked.

"Paige, you were supposed to bring sunblock! Now you're going to burn out there to the elements." Rolling her eyes bordly, Paige watched as her mum searched through her bag. The frequent "ugh's" sounding out aloud of her mouth - and not to forget - the expression of disgust once she got a hold of a bikini. "Don't you think you should wear a one--" Cutting her mother off short, the brunette hugged her mum. Her familiar scent lingering all around her body. "I'll be fine, mum." And with said that, Paige backed out of the contact and began to zip up her suitcase. "I love you, but you can be such a hippie at times."


15 minutes later...


With the GPS, plus a map. The girl's journey was shorter then expected, but, that didn't help Paige find a parking lot now, did it?


Getting her suitcase out from the boot aka, a black hole, the brunette gradually made her way toward the group of her friends. Man... She was soo going to enjoy this roatrip. She walked up to the group, her facial expression excited at this joyous occasion. "Beaches, sun and water-sports. My idea of a paradise people!" Looking face to face with everyone else, the girl's eyes creased at the edges slightly. "It's nice to see you guys."

Carter approached the rest of the group, carrying his cat and his bunny. His friend followed behind him, carrying his luggage. Afterwards, he waved to Carter and left. "Hey..." He said quietly to them. @Skylark @Jasil @PenguinFox @TheLovelyDead
