Background: Seon-Min was born to a very conservative and traditional Korean family in Seoul, Korea. Her parents raised her to believe in no intimacy before marriage and that her purpose in life was to find a husband and have children. However, from a young age Seon-Min knew she was different. She was rebellious, adventurous and creative as opposed to her younger Eun-Sook who was book-smart, made good decisions and more attuned to the Korean culture. As she grew up, she noticed a huge difference in the way she was raised and treated compared to her sibling and Seon-Min began to resent her parents and the culture which she had been born into. While in middle school, Seon-Min found her passion in writing music and playing the piano – something which she quickly picked up on. The girl knew she wanted to make a career out of her newly found talent, but her parents disagreed. It would bring her no money or happiness, they told her. And the rebellious girl took the decision into her own hands by applying for an international contest which would give her the opportunity to study abroad in America while in high school. And to her surprise, her lyrics and piano playing were good enough to win the entire contest. The next summer, Seon-Min was boarding a plane to America to meet her host family.
And that is where Seon-Min transitioned to Sun; wanting to go by a more English sounding and easier name for her fellow students and teachers. While in America, Sun studied hard and continued to write and play music. She graduated high school with honors and decided to stay in America for college since she was able to obtain a full ride to a school for performing arts.
Personality: Sun is humble, has a large heart and will show anyone kindness as long as you don’t mess with her. She is never seen without her foldable keyboard and a notepad. She hates to disappoint others – being reminded of the disappointment she brought to her parents when she left for America and how she couldn’t live up to their standards for her life. Lastly, Sun likes to drink and party which can lead to her being a playful tease.

2.) DETAILS AND DESCRIPTION! I would like posts to be around 400 – 600 words as this is my usual post length. Also, please know how to spell and use grammar correctly. I’m not asking for perfection; I just want to be able to read what you wrote.
3.) NO GHOSTING! Please communicate with me if you don’t like my style, my ideas, my character, etc. It’s fine! Not everything is going to be an amazing story. Just tell me so I’m not disappointed in the long run and wondering what happened and why you left.
4.) COMMUNICATION! Brainstorming, random talk and thoughts about our roleplay – I love it ALL! Heck, even OOC talk is fine by me; just talk to me P.S. If I love our roleplay, I will SPAM you – if you can’t handle it, we probably won’t get along XD Also please don’t add any side characters without asking me first! Thanks!

6.) I WILL NOT CHANGE MY CHARACTER! Sun is precious to me and I will not change anything about her except for basic details (if needed) depending on the plot.
7.) MESSAGE ME! If you find a plot you like, but want to tweak a few things, ask me. If you don’t see a plot you like, but love my character, message me and we can try to brainstorm a plot. I’m always open for ideas!

Sun meets your character in some sort of setting on campus (party, class, etc) and they end up becoming friends and eventually falling for one another. However, they both are complete opposites which leads to constant arguments and doubts of if they should even be together. But they always come back to one another – if it’s for sex, love, lust, companionship – they always end up back in each other’s arms. String each other along for long periods of time and being caught in the same cycle.

Sun meets your character in a therapeutic type setting – maybe AA, maybe a grief support group – after she finds out her sister passed away in Korea. Sun and your character end up bonding together over their losses, but Sun begins to drink more every day. Will your character be able to look ahead with faith in the relationship or begin to question their love like Orpheus? This storyline will be dealing with alcoholism, depression and loss of a loved one.

I don’t have much for this idea except for Sun and your character being in a band together and having a sweet love story
PLOTS (BASED IN KOREA)
When We Were Young

Sun returns to Korea after graduating from high school as opposed to college. She accidentally runs into your character, a childhood friend, who believed she was still in America and is upset that Sun didn’t tell them she came back to Korea. As the storyline progresses, Sun finds out this friend has had feelings for her ever since middle school.

Sun returns to Korea a couple months after she moved to America for various reasons. After she returns, she reunites with her family and friends, continues schooling in Korea, and eventually gets married to a Korean man. However. Sun hates her life. She doesn’t play music anymore, she isn’t in love with her husband, and wants to find an escape. Well, that escape would be your character and eventually they end up having a steamy love affair which ends up being more. This could be an American or Korean based male character.

Sun and your character are both on trips in an exotic place. Maybe Sun's there for a bachelorette party for a friend and your character is there for a business trip. Either way, your character and Sun end up having a one night drunken fling where they don't even know each others real names. It's the craziest but most romantic night they had spent with another person because well - they'll never see each other again, right? Actually, your character ends up meeting Sun again as she's a new worker at your company. How do they react to one another? How will they react now that they're both back in their homeland of Korea where the cultural norms are different? I'd love for your character to be a higher up or even CEO at this company. Also, I'd like for both of the our characters to be 21+ for this storyline.
