Hey, I'd like to try to intimidate Tychis into doubting himself. Should I try to roll for that?

I'm not sure how he'll respond, but I'd like to weaken his conviction so that he might back down, and if not, he'll be less sure of himself when he fights so he might make mistakes. (In rule speak I suppose that would be like trying to pose disadvantage on his next attack)Absolutely. What's your intent? Make him doubt himself, but to do what? Make him back down?
I ask because it'll be DC 20, but I want to set what success and failure mean.
No worries. So, I'll detail a post where he now has to change his behavior. It's not like he's going to leave right now, but he's considering it and will now attempt to negotiate. Stay tuned.WlfSamurai
Sure, I'd like to do that.
Result: Rolled 22 (19 on d20 + 3 Persuasion bonus).
Edit: Wasn't aware of www.coyotecode.net when I made that roll. Next time, I'll use it.
Yes! There are pillars on the perimeter of the room. And there's a table you can kick over for cover. It was for refreshments.WlfSamurai Is there any cover inside the room? Like a pillar, or a table.
