ABOUT
Hi there! My name is Lynz Jo though I prefer to be called Jo. While I provided some of my information on the first page, I wanted to provide a greater overview of what I am like as a roleplay partner and what I look for in a partner. Here it is:
Writing
Me: My level of depth for my writing depends on the nature of the scene, my interest in the scene, and if you're matching my energy. I would say I write anywhere from 100 to 1,000 words a post, making me a very flexible writer. I am able to write longer posts if necessary, though I often prefer to do short story roleplay once I get past 1.5k words. Overall, I'm not a person who thinks in word counts. I prefer quality over quantity. If a 100 word post is the most powerful way to communicate a portion of the scene, then that's the post I'm happy with.
You: As I said, I am a flexible writer, though my level of engagement depends on the amount of writing you do. If you want a more advanced roleplay with longer posts, that is perfectly fine, though I ask that you write that amount also. Additionally, I don't enjoy extreme amounts of filler so I ask that you consider if certain scenes require every post to meet the minimum word count. If you're going to write alongside me, I think we will best get along if you're a bit more flexible on word count and care more about creating quality posts! That's how we keep ourselves engaged.
OOC + Plotting
Me: I love ooc chatting and plotting! I like collaborating on ideas, and I really appreciate it when an rp partner is just as excited about a project as I am. I enjoy discussing things thoroughly and working to create a whole new world, even if it's just a slice of life roleplay. Additionally, I love joking about our characters. Lastly, Discord is highly appreciated simply because I am able to quickly use it on the go.
You: Well I would hope you also enjoy ooc chattering and plotting too. I expect you to contribute mutually. I like hearing new ideas so please don't hesitate to share them with me!
Characters + Pairings
Me: I have loads of characters, and I enjoy to use them all more than once, tailoring them for a new roleplay. So many rps die out quickly, and I feel bad that my brain children never get to see the light of day. Therefore, I do all types of pairings! I care most about creativity and getting to create something unique with a unique plot and characters. I am open to doubling, though I don't usually see much of a purpose for it unless it adds to things.
You: I expect you to have characters that have a similar amount of depth to mine. In the last tab, there's a bunch of my characters there as examples. I don't expect the same exact amount of detail, but I like to see creative ideas with some amount of effort. I like to see a pretty fleshed out background, personality, etc. The normal things! I hope that you are also open to all types of pairings. It is perfectly acceptable if you are not! It's just nice to be able to think more creatively about things when I have the opportunity to play more than the male role in an MxF pairing! I have so many lovely characters, and I enjoy making new ones all the time. I would love for an opportunity for both of us to explore our characters further in cool plots we come up with together!
Faceclaims
As a general rule, I prefer natural faceclaims. I will make some exceptions, depending on the roleplay (ex. science fiction, something based off of an anime, etc.). Just ask me!

plots.
Starcrossed Wasteland β§
{supernatural, sci-fi, avant-garde, Cowboy Bebop-inspired, world-building}
Adapted from an RP I created. In the Union of Thylamet, Egress stands as its most affluent nation. Yet, it has the most disparate class system, with its citizens living at either the top or the bottom of the economic food chain. The plot centers around a team of bounty-hunters going into the richest neighborhood in the richest country in order to find a hacker whose location was traced to the area. The twist is its a vigilante team. I figure we could either pair off or just play one member from each team and have the rest be NPCs.
Bound Through Time β§
{immortality, trope-y, urban fantasy, lore-building, has kind of an early 2000s rom-com feel to it}
Character A (my character; located here) is the daughter of a preacher, though she doesn't act like it. Filled with sass, Character A is deadset on making her college experience memorable, despite all the weirdness that has followed her since birth. What she doesn't know is the supernatural occurrances that have happened to her are a result of The Curse. You see, Character A and B are destined to meet each other between their 19th and 20th years. By Character A turns 21, she will be dead. Character B, conscious of all this, has tried tirelessly to break the curse, even avoiding Character A when they recognize her. Nothing has worked thus far, though maybe this time it will be different?
And The World Caved In β§
{regency-era, historical, slice-of-life, fluffy, forbidden romance}
Character A would be a high-society person, probably the child of a Duke or a Viscount. Character B would be either a servant or a knight. If a servant, Character B would work within Character A's home. If Character B is a knight, the two would meet in London during Character A's first or second courting season. Perhaps one of them has a bit of a reputation and that's what keeps them apart?
A Throne Fit For A Queen β§
{modern fantasy, trope-y, based off of Ever After High}
This is a bit more juvenile, but hey ! Roleplay is supposed to be fun. This is a bit of a revival from the olden days of roleplay, so if this isn't your jam, I totally understand! I have been wanting to recreate an old Ever After High roleplay I was in when I was twelve. I think it would be fun to create human versions of the cartoon characters, create our own ocs, etc. and craft a plot based on the same idea that like there are characters who refuse their storylines and some that do. I think it's a unique idea and I'd love to craft up something based around it. Also - the aesthetics!!
I have created a group roleplay based off of a similar idea. You can find that information here. I would love to do something riffing off of this or at least craft a plot of equal maturity.
Before Dusk β§
{Twilight-AU/prequel, dark, modern supernatural, slight slice-of-life, 90s}
Character A is a recently turned vampire, while Character B is a werewolf. They both attend Forks High School, unknowingly on each other's radar (Character A's smell is on Character B's radar, while Character A keeps smelling wet dog). Eventually, they figure out who the other person is, causing a weird friendship between them. Character B knows they should tell the rest of the pack, given they eradicated vampires in their town, but they just can't seem to get past the fact that Character A didn't choose to be a vampire...
The Magic Within β§
{Harry Potter-Inspired, fantasy, world-building, mystical}
Character A is a witch/pixie (species depends on character; Character option 1 is here, Character option 2 is here). The specifics of this magical world can be worked out, but essentially Character A and B meet at a magical academy. I would prefer for this school to be for more than just one species, and I like the idea of Character B being a different species than Character A. If you go with Character A option 1 for this plot, the main tension would be due to Character B being a different species as witches have prejudice against many other species. If you go with Character A option 2, this world would be far more fantasy-based, and the main tension would be about Character A's distaste for marriage and their grandmother's pride and insistence that she find a 'suitable' person of high status.
Lilypad Thieves β§ // taken
{Raven Boys-AU, modern fantasy, slice-of-life with a mystery, think magical Goonies}
Character A comes from a family of psychics, making them very powerful at interpreting the future. One day, they dream of Character B during a Scorpio Full Moon. After this dream, Character B seems to always be around, running into them. When confronted, Character B just says that they are drawn to Character A. From there, trouble ensues as it appears their connection will lead to further chaos. {Doubling is possible given I imagine them having a shared friend-group for their adventures}

Introduction
I have plenty of unused characters I would love for the opportunity to use again! I can alter most of them to any plot, but I figure I would give a brief summary of what RP they were originally intended to be used for. If that RP plot happens to interest you, I'm sure we can work something out! Note: The characters I'm most interested in using have a *** next to them!
Violet Williams β§ ***
{loyal, manipulative, beguiling, ambitious, brave, eloquent, energetic}
fc: sabrina carpenter
Roleplay: there was an RP but it's not worth mentioning. Vi is a witch, but also the HBIC of highschool. Most people don't see her as anything other than a heartless bitch dressed in pink, but really she's just trying to survive. (the witch aspect can be done away with). She is also apart of the "Bound Through Time" plot.
Nirvana "Birdie" Wilson β§
{insightful, stubborn, neurotic, quick-thinking, laid-back, indifferent}
fc: rina fukishi
Ysabela Leander β§
cs
{cutthroat, sarcastic, cold, loyal, addictive, impatient}
fc: gabriella bechtel
notes: Ysa is a part of a Vampire Diairies roleplay, so I would prefer to keep as much of her backstory as possible! No need to have watched the show to be interested in writing against her, though!
Massimo "Mo" Agnello β§
{daredevil, yellow-bellied, crude, kind, patient, scatter-brained}
fc: pierre ramos
notes: he is for a roleplay that I am currently apart of. Ignore everything on his character sheet that has to do with other characters, and ignore the mentions of his wife, the train, etc. These are part of the plot, which is not important. I think that Mo would be perfect for a plot involving a spoiled rich boy! He is incredibly interesting, and I would love to use him.
Elijah NoΓ«l β§
{quiet, debonair, calculating, quick-thinking}
fc: ashton saunders
notes: for a Hunger Games roleplay I designed; I would love to keep that element!
Ethan Todd β§ ***
{creative, perceptive, unself-aware, shy}
fc: ethan hawke (90s)
notes: i would love to keep his original polot and do something 80s new york slice of life!
Zelda Palace β§
{dream-like, clingy, whimsical}
fc: salem mithcell
notes: zelda was made to be a little x-men like, though there is a non-powerful version.
V Warren β§ ***
{competitive, cool, spiritual, tom-boyish}
fc: marga esquivel
notes: for a pjo roleplay; godly parent has yet to be decided.
Greta Brandt β§ ***
{competitive, whimsical, ambitious, beguiling}
fc: alana champion
notes: unwilling to change her backstory majorly. would love to do something centered around her background in ballet.
