Realistic or Modern Laurel Heights Academy

"Those few hours killed me." She said, smling and putting her arm around her. "How are you doin' tonight hun?"

The first of day of school went by pretty quick, too quick. In all honesty, Garcia had skipped for almost half the day, he actually arrived at around one thirty. Classes were pretty much over then, so he had only one period left before school was dismissed. It was during his walk to last period, Calculus, when he heard about the party.

It was supposedly scheduled for after school, but he didn't know for sure. All he knew was the address, and his desire to go to the part to escape his father. He noted the address and headed to Calculus, which was pretty much the same as last period. The teacher just went over the rules, and the expectations. He kind of dozed of as the teacher droned on and on about responsibility and the like.

When the Dismissal bell rang, Garcia like many other students raced out of the classroom and headed to his locker. After gathering his stuff, he slipped out of the school jumped inside his car, and roared out of the driveway.

He didn't care too much for going home and changing, so he typed the address into his phones GPS and headed to the party.

"You're a hot mess." Aria laughed, pulling the girl in for a second, "Do you want me to grab you a drink? I'm gonna get one."

Aria was thirsty, and figured why not if she was at a party. Her aunt's house was only a block or so away, so she could easily come get her car in the morning if need be. She didn't plan on getting drunk at all though, but simply just hates driving after any drinks at all.

When Garcia arrived at the address, he hesitated a bit coming in. He wasn't invited and others might think he was bit queer coming into a party he was not invited, on the other hand Garcia didn't give a crap about what others thought of him. To him, the latter sounded more appealing. He parked the park a few blocks away, and cruised down the street towards the house. He wondered if the door was open, or whether he should knock or not. He decided not to knock, and pushed open the door. It was unlocked.

The front door was teeming with hormonal teenagers, so it was a bit difficult to get through. He slipped through the mass of sweaty teens, and entered what looked like the living area. A bowl of punch sat on the coffee table, so he made his way towards it and scooped some up in a plastic cup. He could see a box of beer laying idly at the counter, but he didn't drink, so he ignored it. He sat down and watched the others, while sipping on the punch.

Aria walked over, scooping up two cups of 'jungle juice'. Truly a product of the inventive genius of highschool and college kids, jungle juice was a horrible mixture of pints of fruit punch and whatever liquor was available. There were a few beers as well, so she grabbed on in case thats what Val preferred. Two cups in one hand like a skilled waitress and a beer in the other, she made her way back over.

"Your choices, my lady."

"I'll take a beer." She smiled.<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_04/57a8c8edf1ebb_ScreenShot2016-04-04at8.25.11PM.png.f5dc7d7f0fd93b14f6ce17b67a61a86d.png" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="116351" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_04/57a8c8edf1ebb_ScreenShot2016-04-04at8.25.11PM.png.f5dc7d7f0fd93b14f6ce17b67a61a86d.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Aria cracked it open for her, and handed it over. She gave a random kid passing by the extra drink.

"So, any insight on how to not get my ass kicked at this school?" She asked, peering from over her cup as she took a sip

Briar slips in, slightly late, and tries not to draw attention to herself. She smiles at a few people she recognizes but for the most part, has no idea what she is doing here.<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_04/outfit.PNG.ee5bc9ceb6808d70dc7ed78f26a475c1.PNG" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="116357" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_04/outfit.PNG.ee5bc9ceb6808d70dc7ed78f26a475c1.PNG" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Athena gripped nervously to Hades' forearm, her eyes darting around the room. "Why did you drag me here?!" She hissed, happy she had worn all black so she'd be able to just blend in.

Hades rolled his eyes and shrugged his little sister off. "Ath, it's fine, I promise. I won't let anything bad happen to you." He grinned at his baby sister before making a direct b-line to the alcohol. "Love you, please be safe buttercup!" He called to her, grinning as her face flushed. As he was turned talking to Athena, he ran straight into another girl. "Shit, shit, sorry," he muttered, scratching his arm and examining her. "Did I hurt you orrrrr?"

"Sounds like a plan, sundance." Aria watched the scene at the party, and could see one girl kind of controlling everything int eh other room. She made a safe assumption that was Allison or whatever they all called her, the party's host.

Finishing up her drink, Avalon made her way to the kitchen to fix herself another. Just as she finished stirring the drink, which was nothing more than a bit of apple juice and vodka, she turned around, only immediately come in contact with someone. That's right. That's why I don't go to parties. She quickly jumped back as her drink spills, narrowly missing her clothes. She let out a slow breath as she calmed down. "Don't look so worried. I'm fine. Almost got soaked because of you, but I'm not so you don't have to worry about your head just yet," Avalon said with a small smile just before taking a sip of what was left of her drink, which wasn't much. "Damn. It was good too."

Hades bites his bottom lip, grinning slightly at this girl before him. "Panic At the Disco? I gotta say I'm impressed. That's one of my favorite bands. Literally all I listened to in middle school. Thoughts on Death of a Bachelor?" He asks, then realizes that he literally just threw her drink everywhere. "Fucking christ. Let me get you another drink?"

Athena huffed a little. She stood there, pouting for a bit before deciding to try and find Dre. He was about the only person she knew.

Aria made a groan, like she was thinknig on it. She wasn't really sure what there was to do, at parties she always just hung around and not much else, but she was up for anything. "I'm not sure what there is to do. So it's up to you babe." Aria leaned over a little and kissed her temple

Raising an eyebrow, Avalon thought about it carefully before nodding her head a bit. "It's definitely different, but I like it. I like There’s a Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven’t Thought of It Yet, too. The title's a bit too long but it's still a good song. And any time I hear I Write Sins Not Tragedies I have to sing along because there's nothing like taking the opportunity of calling someone a whore," she said with a small laugh just before he offered to get her another drink. "Tsk tsk tsk. Wanting to get me a drink and you don't even know my name yet," she joked before looking into her cup. "But I can't let this one go to waste, no matter how little is in it," she said before she downed the rest of it. "Now I'll take that drink."

Hades grinned. "The whole Vices and Virtues album is my life." He shrugs playfully. "I did spill a drink on a girl, I think it kind of warrants me getting her another drink. Speaking of names, though, mine is Hades." He sighs. "Yeah, like the god of the underworld. Mom had high hopes." He smiles. "What's your name?" He asks as he heads up to a table lined with tons of different alcohol. "You strike me as an apple vodka type girl, yeah?"

"High hopes about you being he devil? Seems legit. I'm Avalon. Like the island where King Arthur's sword was stuck in that stone," she said with a laugh as she followed him, leaning up against the table. "That's actually what you almost spilled on me," she informed him playfully as she shrugged her shoulders and pushed her hair over her right shoulder. "Another one sounds great," she adds happily.

"I dunno. Maybe find somewhere nice and quiet."

Sheena was ready to get drunk and crazy. She had a Fiji bottle full of vodka, and she hungrily scanned the room.

Hades gives a small smile. "Avalon, I like it. And I know, I smelled the apples." He pours the drink and turns around, handing it to her. He grabs himself a Bud Lite and glances around. "Any chance you've seen a boy who looks kinda like me dicking around? I need to make sure he isn't dead, he makes a lot of bad choices." Hades smiles sheepishly. "I know you probably don't care, but I wanna make sure he's alright. You don't have to look around with me, but I would appreciate your company."

"Lead the way then doll." Aria smiled and took another sip of her drink, her fingertips were starting to buzz so she grabbed Valkyrie's hand and couldn't help but bob her head to the music, something by Blackbear came on the shuffle, and she was loving it.
