There are many languages spoken by men and other creatures, and they are listed below.

The Ancient Tongue -

As the name implies, it is an ancient language, once spoken by the Wielders of Light when they roamed the lands in the days of yore. Many call it Elvish, for it was spoken by the Elves. It is found in ancient temples, and is seldom used outside of spells and curses. Only demons remember it, and very few men and dwarves can speak it.

English -

English is the language of men. It was named that for it came from Engel, an ancient kingdom of men that once was. It is a most common language, spoken by all, but its magic is weak, and it is seldom used in spells and potions.

Josic -

Josic is one of the three main branches of Dwarven, and perhaps the most ancient and important, and the first of all. It was first spoken by the Dwarves of the golden mountains, and eventually was broken into two other languages. It is the most difficult to learn, for the Dwarves keep it secret to themselves, and seldom speak it themselves, but rather use it in spells and potions.

Raumili -

Raumili is the second branch of Dwarven, and the most used. It is simple in its words and rules, and most used among Dwarves. They teach it to those willing to learn, be them men or Dwarves like themselves. It is seldom used in casting and using magic, but rather in secret documents. When spoken, it is easy, but when written, however, in special runes unlike those of the Josic language.

Cenili -

Cenili is the third of the Dwarven languages, and the rarest used. Like Raumili and Josic, it is written in runes. It has powerful magic, and an ability to conceal and reveal, and is used to make gates to Dwarven kingdoms. Cenili is not spoken.

Draconic -

Draconic is, as the name implies, the language of dragons. It is difficult to understand, and impossible for most men. Many demons can speak it, as can Dwarf elders. Draconic has no magical properties.

Tiucese -

Tiucese is an ancient language, perhaps as old as the Ancient Tongues even, spoken by demons, and for that reason it is called Demonic as well. Very few men can speak it, but the Ancient Priests used it in their temples and tomes, and with Tiucese demons could be summoned and communed with. It is not difficult, nor is it simple, and men do not speak it, for they need it not. It has magical properties, and is used in specific spells and curses at times.
