In the year 2040, the European Union had held a referendum to unite the Member States under the EU and its institutions. With a 51-49 in favor of unification, resulting in the member nations losing recognition in the United Nations and all policies determined by European rule. This had also given rise to new institutions. The European Committee of Defense lead the European Armed Forces in protection of the Union. The European Internal Action Service was created to guard against domestic threats and protecting EU interests within its borders. Citizens all over the EU had rioted in the streets causing billions of dollars in property damage and hundreds and thousands of people losing their lives to cease the unification, but their efforts were fruitless.
For a decades in what was known as the Age of Bloody Blocks, mass waves of protest that mostly resulted in violence between police and protestors which ended up in violence with deaths and casualties on both sides. Especially with proponents to unification clashing with opponents. Resulting in the creation of paramilitary groups rising for both sides.
In response to the constant violence, the new European Committe of Defense in collaboration with the EU Commission had created the European Central Police. An enforcement institution created to fight any domestic threat with extreme prejudice. The arm of the Central Police responsible for action against domestic threats is the Wolf Legion. The Central Police and the Internal Action Service have a brewing rivalry that many fear will result in a power struggle between the two organizations. Despite this, the two organizations have worked tirelessly to drive down terrorism to a low during the Age of the Bloody Blocks.
It has been 20 years since unification, however Euroscepticism is still strong and many members in the European Parliament are trying to destroy the unified Europe. Terrorism and protest occurs but it is substantially low. Life still carries on and the economy has greatly improved after the two decades of turmoil. But will the peace be disturbed again by another powder keg?

Ok hi, so this is gonna be a political intrigue taking place in a united Europe. This is gonna be post Brexit so whatever the current member states are, are reflected in this rp.
You can rp as anyone as long as it effects the politics of the European Union. Action will be present as well.
Characters may only die unless permitted by the player of that character.
The minimum post requirements should reach two lines.
