THINGS TAKE A MUCH MORE CHAOTIC TURN WHEN THE CLANโS ELDEST LAYS EYES ON A HUMAN AND DECIDES TO FORCIBLY TURN THEM INTO ONE OF HIS OWN, CONVINCED OF FINALLY HAVING FOUND THE ONE COMPANION HEโS BEEN SEARCHING COUNTLESS OF CENTURIES FOR.
THOUGH QUITE SMITTEN WITH THE ELDEST AND THE EXCITEMENT OF THEIR NEW OBTAINTED IMMORTALITY, THE NEWBORN VAMPIRE GRADUALLY HAS TO COME TO TERMS WITH THEIR CHANGE OF DIET, UNABLE TO BRING THEMSELVES TO FEED FROM THEIR HUMAN PREY. THE CLANโS ELDEST, WHOSE PATIENCE HAS YET TO REACH ITS LIMIT, ALLOWS THEM TO FEED FROM HIS BLOOD INSTEAD.
UNLIKE HIM, THE REST OF THE BLOODTHIRSTY CLAN SHOWS MUCH LESS UNDERSTANDING TOWARDS THEIR NEWBORN MEMBER. TENSION BEGINS TO BUILD UP IN THE MIDST OF THEIR GROUP, THREATENING TO ABRUPT THE PEACE THEYโVE UPHELD FOR DECADES.
MEANWHILE, THE NEW ORLEANS POLICE DEPARTMENT HAS BEGUN ITS INVESTIGATION REGARDING THE MANY DISAPPEARANCES WITHIN THE SPAN OF A MONTH. TWO SPECIAL DETECTIVES DECIDE TO MAKE IT THEIR MOST IMPORTANT MISSION TO TRACK AND PUT A FINAL END TO WHOEVER HAPPENS TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SAID HAPPENINGS, COMPLETELY UNAWARE OF THE DREADFUL DANGER AWAITING THE BOTH OF THEM IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
THE NEWBORN VAMPIRE, NOW STRAYING FURTHER AND FURTHER AWAY FROM THE ELDEST AND HIS CLAN, EVENTUALLY CROSSES PATHS WITH THE TWO SPECIAL DETECTIVES. WILL THEY ATTEMPT TO HELP BRING AN END TO THE CLANโS BLOODSHED OR COME TO TERMS WITH THEIR SHARED PRIMAL HUNGER?

THE OVERALL PLOT IDEA WILL SET OFF THE CONTINUATION/EXPANSION OF HAPPENINGS WITHIN THE RP. THE DIRECTION OF THE REST OF THE PLOT ITSELF WILL BE GRADUALLY SHAPED BY ALL OF THE CHARACTERโS ACTIONS AND WORDS. THUS, NO FINAL END OF THE RP HAS BEEN SET YET. IT DEPENDS ON ALL OF OUR CHARACTERโS DECISIONS.
SIDE INFORMATION:
- VAMPIRES POSSESS FOUR FANGS, ONE PAIR ON TOP, ONE PAIR BELOW. THEY CAN NOT BE RETRACTED BUT HIDDEN WITH SKILL.
- VAMPIRES HAVE VASTLY SHARPER CLAWS WHICH CAN BE RETRACTED.
- VAMPIRES HAVE RATHER MARBLE/SCULPTED LIKE FEATURES WHICH MAKES THEM APPEAR FAR MORE OTHERWORLDLY.
- VAMPIRES ARE USUALLY LONERS. THOSE WHO DO FORM THEIR CLANS TEND TO BECOME VASTLY MORE BRUTAL, PRIMAL AS WELL AS BLOODTHIRSTY.
- MOST OFTEN, VAMPIRES WITHIN CLANS CONSIDER THEMSELVES VERY CLOSE FAMILY. SOME OF THEM HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR DECADES OR EVEN CENTURIES.
- SOME VAMPIRES DO HAVE SEXUAL CRAVINGS, SOME DO NOT. REGARDLESS, TO SHARE ONEโS IMMORTAL BLOOD WITH ANOTHER IS CONSIDERED TO BE THE MOST INTIMATE ACT.
- ITโS CONSIDERED QUITE THE NORM FOR THEM TO SLEEP IN COFFINS. SOME MAY PREFER SOMETHING ELSE THOUGH.
VAMPIRE ABILITIES:
- SUPERNATURALLY ENHANCED SENSES, SPEED, STAMINA, AGILITY, ENDURANCE AND STRENGTH.
- INSTANT WOUND REGENERATION AND LIMB REGROWTH. OLD VAMPIRES MAY ALSO BE ABLE TO HEAL OTHERS WITH THEIR BLOOD.
- FLOATING AND WALL-CRAWLING. OLD VAMPIRES MAY BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY FLY.
- DEPENDING ON THE INDIVIDUAL VAMPIRE AND THEIR AGE AND/OR KNOWLEDGE, SOME MAY BE ABLE TO USE SPECIAL ABILITIES SUCH AS MIND READING, HYPNOSIS, SHAPESHIFTING OR TELEKINESIS.
VAMPIRE WEAKNESSES:
- BOTH SUNLIGHT AND FIRE ARE THE ONLY EFFECTIVE WAYS TO KILL A VAMPIRE. VERY OLD VAMPIRES BURN VASTLY SLOWER AND MAY BE ABLE TO SURVIVE WITH ENOUGH SKILL AND/OR LUCK.
- LONG-TERM STARVATION MAY INDUCE A DEATH LIKE STATE OF SLEEP, LEAVING THE VAMPIRE UNABLE TO MOVE UNTIL THEYโRE BEING FED AGAIN. YOUNG VAMPIRES ARE ESPECIALLY AFFECTED BY IT. THE OLDER THEY GET, THE LESS BLOOD THEY NEED.
- THEY CAST NO SHADOW AND HAVE NO REFLECTION IN MIRRORS WHICH CAN EXPOSE THEIR INHUMAN NATURE.
VAMPIRE TRANSFORMATION:
- A HUMAN CAN ONLY BE TURNED IF BITTEN AND THEN FED THE BLOOD OF THE VAMPIRE WHO MAKES THEM ONE OF THEIR OWN.
- THE HUMANโS MORTAL BODY GRADUALLY DIES OVER THE SPAN OF A WEEK, WHICH IN ITSELF IS PAINFUL DUE TO INTERNAL ORGAN FAILURE.
- THEIR CRAVING FOR BLOOD INTENSIFIES EACH DAY AND TENDS TO BECOME QUITE UNBEARABLE.
- THE PROCESS IS COMPLETED ONCE THEIR HEART HAS STOPPED BEATING AND THEY HAVE INGESTED HUMAN BLOOD.
THE CLANโS HIDEOUT:
- THEY CURRENTLY RESIDE IN THE TOP SUITE AT THE RITZ CARLTONโS HOTEL.
- THE PLACE ITSELF HAS 7 PRIVATE ROOMS, EACH MEMBER RESIDING IN THEIR OWN.
